Fault Detection for Split Pins of Power Transmission Fittings in UAV Inspections via Automatic Image Cropping-based Super-Resolution Reconstruction and Enhanced YOLOv8

In modern industrial applications,ensuring the reliability of mechanical fittings is critical for maintaining operational safety and efficiency,particularly in power grid systems where split pins serve a pivotal role despite being susceptible to environmental degradation and failure.Existing UAV-based inspection systems are hampered by a low representation of split pin elements and complex backgrounds,leading to challenges in accurate fault detection and timely maintenance.To address this pressing issue,our study proposes an innovative fault detection method for split pins.The approach employs a three-step process:first,cropping operations are used to accurately isolate the fittings containing split pins;second,super-resolution reconstruction is applied to enhance image clarity and detail;and finally,an improved YOLOv8 network,augmented with inner-shape IoU and local window attention mechanisms,is utilized to refine local feature extraction and annotation accuracy.Experimental evaluations on a split pin defect dataset demonstrate robust performance,achieving an accuracy rate of 72.1%and a mean average precision(mAP)of 67.7%,thereby validating the method’s effectiveness under challenging conditions.The proposed approach contributes to the field by specifically targeting the challenges associated with split pin detection in UAV-based inspections,offering a practically applicable and reliably precise method. 展开更多

As a novel signaling technology,the power splitting receiver(PSR)simultaneously employs both the coherent and non-coherent signal processing.In order to improve its communication performance,an intelligent reflecting surface(IRS)is introduced into its signal propagation path.Consequently,an IRSaided PSR is concerned for a point-to-point(P2P)data link,where both the single-antenna and multiantenna deployments on the receiver are discussed.We aim at maximizing the capacity of the concerned P2P data-link by jointly optimizing the passive beamforming of IRS and the splitting ratio of PSR,either in single-antenna or multi-antenna case.However,owing to the coupling of multiple variables,the optimization problems are non-convex and challenging,especially in the later multi-antenna case.The proposed alternating-approximating algorithm(A-A),aided by semi-definite relaxation(SDR)and successive convex approximation(SCA)methods,etc.,successfully overcomes these challenges.We compare the IRS-aided PSR system that optimized by our proposed algorithm to the systems without IRS or PSR,and the systems without joint optimization.The simulation results show that our proposal has a better performance. 展开更多

In order to identify all the appropriate system schemes for the compound split systems formed primarily with a four-port mechanical power split device, power transmission characteristics of the compound split systems was analyzed. Considering the structural symmetry and according to the different connection arrangement of the four ports, compound split system was classified into four types. Using black-box modeling method, the generalized models of the speed ratio, the torque ratio and the power split ratio were established. Moreover, a semi-invert diagram was used to distin- guish the different schemes in each type. The characteristics of the speed ratio, the torque ratio and the power split ratio in each domain were also analyzed and compared. Through the semi-invert dia- gram, a selection method based on the rated-power speed ranges in different schemes was presented and all suitable compound split systems were identified, which can be used as references for the scheme selection of this kind of continuously variable power split transmission. 展开更多

Intelligent reflecting surface(IRS) is regarded as a promising technology because it can achieve higher passive beamforming gain. In particular, the IRS assisted simultaneous wireless information and power transfer(SWIPT) system can make the information decoding receivers(IDRs) have a higher signal-to-noise ratio(SNR), and the energy harvesting receivers(EHRs) have the guarantee of minimum harvested energy threshold. Motivated by the above,in this paper, we use the power splitting(PS) at the user and introduce artificial noise(AN) into the access point(AP), so that the user in system can harvest energy and decode information simultaneously,further improve the security of user. We jointly optimize the beamforming matrix at AP, the reflection phase shift at IRS and the PS ratio, in order to maximize the user’s achievable secrecy rate, subject to the user’s minimum harvested energy threshold and AP’s transmission power. Due to the introduction of PS ratio, the coupling between variables is increased,and the complexity of the problem is significantly increased. Furthermore, the problem is non-convex, so we propose an efficient algorithm based on Taylor Formula, semi-definite relaxation(SDR) and alternating optimization(AO) to get the solution. Numerical results show that the proposed IRS-SWIPT system with PS and AN achieves significant performance improvement compared with other benchmark scheme. 展开更多

Based on Newton ' s second law,the bend-torsion-shaft coupling nonlinear dynamic model and equations of power split gear transmission system are established.According to the principle of tooth profile modification,the tooth profile modification is considered as time-varying gear backlash function acting along the line of action.Then the dynamic functions are solved by using Runge-Kutta numerical method.After analyzing the effect of tooth profile modification quantity( TPMQ) and relative tooth profile modification length( TPML) to the nonlinear dynamic characteristics of power split gear transmission,the following conclusions are drawn:1 The TPMQ of a certain stage transmission affects the vibration of its own stage more significantly than the other stage,and the coupling effect between two stages can be ignored usually in the modification design;2 If the first stage TPMLs are less than 0.3,the influence of the first stage TPMLs to the first stage transmission vibration is much more greatly than the influence of the second stage TPMLs to the first stage transmission vibration,or else both the first and second stage TPMLs affect the first stage transmission vibration largely.The same is true for the second stage TPMLs,and the cutoff value is 0.2;3 The TPMQ affects the vibration of power split gear transmission system more principally than the TPML,and should be top-priority in the modification design. 展开更多

Now the optimization strategies for power distribution are researched widely, and most of them are aiming to the optimal fuel economy and the driving cycle must be preknown. Thus if the actual driving condition deviates from the scheduled driving cycle, the effect of optimal results will be declined greatly. Therefore, the instantaneous optimization strategy carried out on-line is studied in this paper. The power split path and the transmission efficiency are analyzed based on a special power-split scheme and the efficiency models of the power transmitting components are established. The synthetical efficiency optimization model is established for enhancing the transmission efficiency and the fuel economy. The identification of the synthetical efficiency as the optimization objective and the constrain group are discussed emphatically. The optimization is calculated by the adaptive simulated annealing (ASA) algorithm and realized on-line by the radial basis function (RBF)-based similar models. The optimization for power distribution of the hybrid vehicle in an actual driving condition is carried out and the road test results are presented. The test results indicate that the synthetical efficiency optimization method can enhance the transmission efficiency and the fuel economy of the power-split hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) observably. Compared to the rules-based strategy the optimization strategy is optimal and achieves the approximate global optimization solution for the power distribution. The synthetical efficiency optimization solved by ASA algorithm can give attentions to both optimization quality and calculation efficiency, thus it has good application foreground for the power distribution of power-split HEV. 展开更多

Traditional control methods such asgenerator tripping and load shedding are costly, and also have undesirable impacts on theloadside. In this paper, a new emergency power control strategy is proposed for multi-channel interconnected system by using the overload capacity of non-fault DC lines. First of all, the capacity of emergency power control can be acquired by critical transmission power of a certain tie-line for stability. Secondly, the shortest electric distance can be calculated by Dijkstra algorithm, and then the priority of emergency control of the DC lines can be obtained by the entropy weight method. When the inter-regional transmission power decreases and the effect of single DC line emergency control is poor, the multi-channel cooperative emergency control strategy is proposed to ensure the system stability. Firstly, according to the method of theoretical analysis of the tooth contact analysis (TCA) and loaded tooth contact analysis (LTCA), the actual meshing process of each gear pairs is simulated, and the time-varying mesh stiffness excitations are obtained, which can improve the numerical precision. Second- ly, by using the lumped mass method, the bending-torsional coupling three dimensional dynamic model of the dual power-split transmission is established, and the identical dimensionless equations are deduced by elimina- ting the effect of rigid displacement and the method of dimensional normalization. Finally, by the method of the fourth order Runge-Kutta algorithm with variable step lengths, the responses of this system in a frequency domain and time domain are obtained, and the dynamic load change characteristics of each gear pairs are analyzed. The results show that the establishment, solution and analysis of the system dynamics model could provide a basis for the dynamic design, and have an important significance for the dynamic efficiency analysis and dynamic perform- ance optimization design of the dual power-split transmission. 展开更多

The chemical looping reforming of methane through the nonstoichiometric ceria redox cycle(CeO2/CeO2-δ) has been experimentally investigated in a directly irradiated solar reactor to convert both solar energy and methane to syngas in the temperature range 900–1050 °C. Experiments were carried out with different ceria shapes via two-step redox cycling composed of endothermic partial reduction of ceria with methane and complete exothermic re-oxidation of reduced ceria with H2 O/CO2 at the same operating temperature, thereby demonstrating the capability to operate the cycle isothermally. A parametric study considering different ceria macrostructure variants(ceria packed powder, ceria packed powder mixed with inert Al2 O3 particles, and ceria reticulated porous foam) and operating parameters(methane flow-rate, reduction temperature, or sintering temperature) was conducted in order to unravel their impact on the bed-averaged oxygen non-stoichiometry(δ), syngas yield, methane conversion, and solar reactor performance. The ceria cycling stability was also experimentally investigated to demonstrate repeatable syngas production by alternating the flow between CH4 and H2 O(or CO2). A decrease in sintering temperature of the ceria foam was beneficial for increasing syngas selectivity, methane conversion,and reactor performance. Increasing both CH4 concentration and reduction temperature enhanced δ with the maximum value up to 0.41 but concomitantly favored CH4 cracking reaction. The ceria reticulated porous foam showed better performance in terms of effective heat transfer, due to volumetric absorption of concentrated solar radiation and uniform heating with lower solar power consumption, thereby promoting the solar-to-fuel energy conversion efficiency that reached up to 5.60%. The energy upgrade factor achieved during cycle was up to 1.19. Stable patterns in the δ and syngas yield for consecutive cycles with the ceria foam validated material performance stability. 展开更多

We consider a spectrum efficiency(SE)maximization problem for cooperative power beacon-enabled wireless powered communication networks(CPB-WPCNs),where each transmitter harvests en-ergy from multi-antenna power beacons(PBs)and transmits data to the corresponding receiver.For data transmission,both orthogonal transmission,i.e.,the time splitting(TS)mode,and non-orthogonal trans-mission,i.e.,the interference channel(IC)mode,are considered.Aiming to improve the system SE,the energy beamformers of PBs,the transmit power,and the transmit time duration of transmitters are jointly optimized.For the TS mode,the original non-convex problem is transformed into a convex opti-mization problem by means of variable substitution and semidefinite relaxation(SDR).The rank-one na-ture of this SDR is proved,and then a Lagrange-dual based fast algorithm is proposed to obtain the opti-mal solution with much lower complexity.For the IC mode,to conquer the strong non-convexity of the problem,a branch-reduce-and-bound(BRB)mono-tonic optimization algorithm is designed as a bench-mark.Furthermore,a low-complexity distributed suc-cessive convex approximation(SCA)algorithm is pre-sented.Finally,simulation results validate the perfor-mance of the proposed algorithms,achieving optimal-ity within only 1%∼2%computation time compared to the CVX solver in the TS mode and achieving 98%of the optimal performance in the IC mode. 展开更多

In this paper, we propose the decode-and-forward(DF) based bidirectional wireless information and power transfer(BWIPT) in two-hop relay systems, where the bidirectional relay can decode and forward information from the user to the access point(AP), and assist the wireless power transfer from the AP to the user. To maximize the information rate from the user to the AP, we derive the closed form expression of the optimal power splitting(PS) factor, and the time allocation scheme to obtain the optimal time switching(TS) factor. Simulation results show that for both PS and TS protocols, the proposed DF based bidirectional relay systems can improve the information rate as compared with the amplify-and-forward(AF) based bidirectional relay systems. 展开更多

Regarding mobile machinery, particularly agricultural tractors, there is an ongoing competition for the most suitable technology to achieve optimum functionality with maximum efficiency. In this competition, the efficiency of electric series-hybrid powertrains (ESHPs) is often depicted as worse than the efficiency of mechanical-hydraulic power-split powertrains (MHPSPs). On closer inspection of these statements, however, systematic errors, such as unequal balance limits, neglected size effects and nonlinearities, non-observance of recent technical developments and standards, or erroneous application of research results regarding MHPSPs on ESHPs are often evident. For verification (and under avoidance of the systematic errors mentioned above), the losses of an ESHP of 150 kW power are for example calculated and compared with the losses of a typical MHPSP of the same power. The comparison of the losses shows that the ESHP clearly exceeds the efficiency of the comparative MHPSP in the main working range and that there is still potential for improvement. 展开更多

在实现“双碳”目标的背景下,省级建筑领域碳排放核算研究的重要性逐渐提升。目前,采用区域电网排放因子计算得到的省级建筑碳排放,未考虑各省的电力调入调出和资源禀赋状况,碳排放计算结果有一定偏差,无法真实体现省级区域逐年碳排放... 在实现“双碳”目标的背景下,省级建筑领域碳排放核算研究的重要性逐渐提升。目前,采用区域电网排放因子计算得到的省级建筑碳排放,未考虑各省的电力调入调出和资源禀赋状况,碳排放计算结果有一定偏差,无法真实体现省级区域逐年碳排放变化情况。考虑省际电力调配,提出逐年动态电力碳排放因子计算方法,以河北省为研究区域,采用能源平衡表拆分法计算得到河北省2010年-2020年民用建筑碳排放总量情况,分析了变化趋势,旨在为省级建筑碳排放核算研究提供参考依据,同时为河北省建筑领域碳减排研究提供基础。结果表明:2010年-2020年,河北省民用建筑碳排放总量整体呈现持续增长的趋势,11年间增长至原来的1.7倍。年度增长率总体上呈正增长趋势,2013年-2018年为高增长阶段。与区域电网排放因子相比,省级逐年动态电力排放因子核算结果更有利于表达省级区域逐年碳排放的真实情况。 展开更多

面对复杂的高功率电磁环境,现有的大多数能量选择表面(ESS)不能同时对TE极化波、TM极化波进行防护。文中设计了一种用于屏蔽高功率微波的S频段极化不敏感ESS。该ESS基本单元由外围四个方形开口谐振环(SRR)与四个PIN二极管连接的十字形(... 面对复杂的高功率电磁环境,现有的大多数能量选择表面(ESS)不能同时对TE极化波、TM极化波进行防护。文中设计了一种用于屏蔽高功率微波的S频段极化不敏感ESS。该ESS基本单元由外围四个方形开口谐振环(SRR)与四个PIN二极管连接的十字形(CS)复合结构和FR-4介质层组成,基于全波电磁分析法和等效电路模型对复合结构参数进行优化并分析其传输特性。仿真结果表明,在工作频段内,该ESS的插入损耗小于1 dB,屏蔽效能超过20 dB。通过表面电场、电流分布和模拟空间电场的分析进一步阐述了其工作机制。通过电磁仿真研究了不同结构参数和不同极化模式斜入射角度对传输性能的影响。结果表明,在TE极化波和TM极化波入射下,ESS具有良好的极化不敏感性和宽角度稳定性。此外,制备的样品采用波导法进行了测试,测量结果与仿真结果基本吻合。文中设计的双极化ESS结构在高功率微波和天线罩保护领域展现出巨大的应用潜力。 展开更多

精确的地应力实测数据以及精细化的数值反演分析对高水头抽水蓄能电站安全施工和高效运行至关重要。以新疆某处于复杂地质条件背景下的高水头抽蓄电站为依托,通过多种地应力测量方法(常规水压致裂法、三维水压致裂法及孔径变形法)进行... 精确的地应力实测数据以及精细化的数值反演分析对高水头抽水蓄能电站安全施工和高效运行至关重要。以新疆某处于复杂地质条件背景下的高水头抽蓄电站为依托,通过多种地应力测量方法(常规水压致裂法、三维水压致裂法及孔径变形法)进行综合测量,并结合多元线性回归分析实现地应力场的反演重构,分析了该电站输水隧洞沿线关键部位围岩应力分布特征及抗劈裂能力。研究表明:3种地应力测量方法在三钻孔交汇处所测应力量值及方位大体一致,使3种方法得以相互印证,也提高了测试的精确度;基于综合实测地应力实现的数值反演模型所得计算值与同位实测值吻合度高,可供工程区进行大范围地应力场反演重构;输水隧洞沿线应力分布特征凸显了高水头抽蓄电站地应力场受地形及地质构造扰动大的特点,工程区围岩应力特征主要表现为σ_(H)>σ_(z)>σ_(h),最大水平主应力方位角在NE40°~65°之间,与厂房轴线方向NE45°所呈角度较小,厂房轴线方位选定合理;基于最小主应力判别准则,输水隧洞沿线各关键部位抗劈裂安全系数最小可达1.53,均满足输水隧洞围岩抗劈裂条件。 展开更多

随着6G网络向通信感知深度融合的方向发展,通信感知一体化技术在车联网、低空无人机等多种无线通信应用中展现出广阔的应用前景。然而,现有系统中由于多用户干扰严重导致的能耗显著上升问题亟待解决,因此本文提出了可重构智能表面(Recon... 随着6G网络向通信感知深度融合的方向发展,通信感知一体化技术在车联网、低空无人机等多种无线通信应用中展现出广阔的应用前景。然而,现有系统中由于多用户干扰严重导致的能耗显著上升问题亟待解决,因此本文提出了可重构智能表面(Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface, RIS)和速率分割多址(Rate Splitting Multiple Access, RSMA)技术辅助的通感一体化系统模型。该模型通过联合优化基站发射波束成形向量、RIS相移矩阵和RSMA速率分割比例,以最小化基站平均发射功率为目标,构建了一个包含通信用户最小速率约束、雷达最小波束增益约束及用户最小解码能力约束的优化问题。由于问题的非凸性以及优化变量之间的高度耦合,导致难以直接求解。为此,本文提出了一种基于交替优化框架的算法以实现变量解耦与问题求解。具体而言,首先,利用半正定松弛算法(Semidefinite Relaxation, SDR)将原始问题转化为半正定规划问题,通过高斯随机化获得可行解。其次,利用连续凸近似算法(Successive Convex Approximation, SCA)处理约束中的非凸项,构建迭代收敛的局部最优解。最后通过交替迭代实现基站平均发射功率的降低。仿真结果表明,本文提出的半正定松弛-连续凸近似(Semidefinite Relaxation-Successive Convex Approximation, SDR-SCA)算法具有快速收敛的特性。此外,本文所提方案在确保用户通信速率和目标感知增益的同时,相比于无RIS的RSMA方案、传统RIS与空分多址技术结合方案、RIS与非正交多址技术结合方案等显著降低了系统功率消耗,达到了绿色节能的效果。 展开更多

为了提高无线通信系统的安全性,基于功率分割型无线携能通信(Power Splitting⁃Simultane⁃ous Wireless Information and Power Transfer,PS⁃SWIPT)模型,提出了一种有源可重构智能表面(Ac⁃tive Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface,ARIS... 为了提高无线通信系统的安全性,基于功率分割型无线携能通信(Power Splitting⁃Simultane⁃ous Wireless Information and Power Transfer,PS⁃SWIPT)模型,提出了一种有源可重构智能表面(Ac⁃tive Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface,ARIS)辅助PS⁃SWIPT系统(ARIS⁃PS⁃SWIPT)的安全传输方案。综合考虑ARIS⁃PS⁃SWIPT系统的能量效率和安全性,构造了安全能效最大化问题,通过联合优化基站的波束成形向量、ARIS的反射系数矩阵,以及合法用户的功率分割比值,提升ARIS⁃PS⁃SWIPT系统的安全能效。由于所构建的优化问题为非凸问题,利用交替优化(Alternating Optimiza⁃tion,AO)算法将原问题分解为3个子问题,并进一步通过半正定松弛(Semi⁃Definite Relaxation,SDR)和Dinkelbach方法获得子问题的优化解。仿真结果表明,ARIS⁃PS⁃SWIPT方案在安全能效方面优于PRIS辅助PS⁃SWIPT(PRIS⁃PS⁃SWIPT)方案和放大转发辅助PS⁃SWIPT(AF⁃PS⁃SWIPT)方案,且所提算法相较于遗传算法(Genetic Algorithm,GA),对求解该类问题具备更高的适应性,并且获得了更高的安全能效。 展开更多
