The kerosene-fueled Scramjet with multi-cavity combustor has the potential to serve aspropulsion system for hypersonic flight.However,the impact of injection positions on combustionperformance and mechanism at high Ma...The kerosene-fueled Scramjet with multi-cavity combustor has the potential to serve aspropulsion system for hypersonic flight.However,the impact of injection positions on combustionperformance and mechanism at high Mach numbers remains uncertain.Therefore,a comparativestudy was conducted using numerical methods to explore multi-cavity Scramjet combustor perfor-mance at a flight Mach number 7.0 with different injection positions.The combustor is equippedwith 6 cavities arranged in three groups along the flow direction,each consisting of two cavities per-pendicular to the flow.It is shown that the injection location significantly influences combustionperformance:Front-injection yields higher combustion efficiency than post-injection,but post-injection is advantageous for the intake start.Additionally,regardless of injection positions,themainstream flow state near the cavities behind the injection can be categorized as supersonic flow,supersonic-subsonic coexistence flow,and subsonic flow.The optimal length from the downstreamto the trailing edge of the cavities behind the injection for achieving maximum combustion effi-ciency is determined.Further extension beyond this optimal length does not significantly increasethe combustion efficiency.In addition,the optimal length varies with different injection positions-specifically,it is about 60%longer with post-injection conditions than with front-injection con-ditions in this investigation.Moreover,significant secondary combustion within the cavities leadingto improved efficiency only occurs when mainstream flow state is either supersonic flow orsupersonic-subsonic coexistence flow.Also,with a well-optimized design,the kerosene-fueledmulti-cavity Scramjet can achieve enhanced combustion efficiency,which shows relatively smallvariation across a wide range of equivalence ratios.This might be caused by the effects of interac-tion among these multiple cavities.Therefore,these research findings can provide valuable insightsfor designing and optimizing the kerosene-fueled multi-cavity combustor in Scramjet at high Machnumbers.展开更多
The effects of the structure and concentration of impurities on the alkylation of naphthalene with 1-octene catalyzed by chloroaluminate ionic liquid(IL)were investigated.The presence of impurities containing oxygen a...The effects of the structure and concentration of impurities on the alkylation of naphthalene with 1-octene catalyzed by chloroaluminate ionic liquid(IL)were investigated.The presence of impurities containing oxygen and nitrogen led to a decrease in the catalytic performance of chloroaluminate IL.As the water concentration increased to 65 mg·g^(-1),the total selectivity of multi-octylnaphthalene gradually decreased to 42.33%,and the average friction coefficient of the multi-octylnaphthalene base oil gradually increased to 0.201.When the concentration of impurities increased to a critical value,the chloroaluminate IL began to deactivate,leading to a decrease in naphthalene conversion.The critical concentrations for ethanolamine,water,methanol,ether,and diisopentyl sulfide were 33 mg·g^(-1),65 mg·g^(-1),67mg·g^(-1),87 mg·g^(-1),and 123 mg·g^(-1),respectively.Impurities with higher basicity resulted in an earlier onset of chloroaluminate IL deactivation.The changes of Lewis and Brønsted acids in chloroaluminate IL under the influence of impurities were investigated using in situ IR and 27Al NMR spectroscopy.2,6-dimethylpyridine as an indicator could detect the changes of Brønsted acid in chloroaluminate IL better,but the changes of Lewis acid were not obvious because of the overlap between the characteristic peaks.2,6-dichloropyridine as an indicator could exclusively detect the changes of Lewis acid in chloroaluminate IL.With the increase inwater concentration,the Lewis acid in chloroaluminate IL was continuously consumed and converted into Brønsted acid,and the Lewis acid gradually decreased,while the Brønsted acid showed a change of increasing first and then decreasing.展开更多
Unmanned surface vehicles(USVs)play a crucial role in various fields,including ocean climate change monitoring,ma-rine resource exploitation,and ecological environment exploration.Out of the many types of USVs,unmanne...Unmanned surface vehicles(USVs)play a crucial role in various fields,including ocean climate change monitoring,ma-rine resource exploitation,and ecological environment exploration.Out of the many types of USVs,unmanned sailboats have gained considerable attention for their ability to conduct green,large-scale ocean observations.Building on this concept,this paper proposes an unmanned sailboat propelled by parallel dual-wing sails,which is designed to meet the demands of extensive and three-dimensional marine comprehensive observation and data collection.With a focus on the parallel dual-wing sails,this study particularly investi-gates the effects of variations in the airfoil’s angle of attack and the impact of the spacing ratio between the dual sails on propulsion performance.It further analyzes the influence of one sail’s angle of attack on the performance of the other sail,as well as the flow field between the two sails.For the air navigation and underwater states,the force characteristics of the dual sail under different inflow velocities were investigated.The research findings indicate that,under certain conditions,the thrust coefficient exhibits a trend of first increasing,then decreasing,and finally increasing again with alterations in the angle of attackα.Different single-sail angles of attack have varying impacts on the opposite sail and the flow field between the dual sails.Moreover,the generated forces are positively correlated with inflow velocity in the air navigation and underwater states.The findings reveal that it is possible to reduce drag,mitigate the adverse effects of sail interaction,and thereby enhance the propulsion performance and overall navigational stability of the sailboat by applying an optimal spacing ratio design and adjusting the angle of attack and inflow velocity.展开更多
Muscle strength training can effectively reduce muscle atrophy,activate muscle tissue and promote muscle strength recovery and growth.Based on our previous research,we developed four muscle strength training strategie...Muscle strength training can effectively reduce muscle atrophy,activate muscle tissue and promote muscle strength recovery and growth.Based on our previous research,we developed four muscle strength training strategies by further imitating the clinical muscle strength training methods,namely,Isokinetic centriPetal-centriPetal Exercise(IPPE),Isokinetic centriPetal-centriFuge exercise(IPFE),Isokinetic centriFuge-centriPetal Exercise(IFPE)and Isokinetic centriFuge-centriFuge Exercise(IFFE).To quantitatively evaluate the performance of the developed strategies,experiments were carried out with elbow and knee joints as examples,and muscle Endurance Ratio(ER),Flexion and Extension torque ratio(F/E)and the degree of muscle activation were extracted and calculated based on angle/torque and Surface ElectroMyoGraphy(sEMG)signals.Experimental results showed that the ER value of IFFE was significantly reduced compared with IPPE,while the F/E value of IFPE was significantly increased;this suggests that muscle centrifugation corresponds to higher training intensity;In addition,flexor and extensor muscle groups showed different levels of muscle activation in different training strategies.The results reveal that combining different muscle movement characteristics,isokinetic exercise can exert special muscle strength training effects.The study can lay the foundation for exploring subject-specific adaptive muscle strength training strategies to better adapt to different levels of muscle strength.展开更多

To tackle the problem of different dynamic characteristics and facilitate the controller design, the virtual variable is introduced in the z axis of the nonlinear model of unmanned ground vehicles. By using this approach, a universal model is established for the HMAS. Moreover, a distributed disturbance observer is established to cope with the adverse influence of the external disturbances. Then, an Appointed-Time Prescribed Performance Function (ATPPF) is designed to restrict the tracking error in the predefined regions. On this basis, the distributed performance constraint controller is proposed for the HMAS based on the ATPPF and the distributed disturbance observer. Furthermore, the improved event-triggered mechanism is proposed with a dynamic threshold, which depends on the distance between the tracking error and the boundary of the ATPPF. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control method is verified by the comparative experiments on an HMAS.展开更多
Visual question answering(VQA)is a multimodal task,involving a deep understanding of the image scene and the question’s meaning and capturing the relevant correlations between both modalities to infer the appropriate...Visual question answering(VQA)is a multimodal task,involving a deep understanding of the image scene and the question’s meaning and capturing the relevant correlations between both modalities to infer the appropriate answer.In this paper,we propose a VQA system intended to answer yes/no questions about real-world images,in Arabic.To support a robust VQA system,we work in two directions:(1)Using deep neural networks to semantically represent the given image and question in a fine-grainedmanner,namely ResNet-152 and Gated Recurrent Units(GRU).(2)Studying the role of the utilizedmultimodal bilinear pooling fusion technique in the trade-o.between the model complexity and the overall model performance.Some fusion techniques could significantly increase the model complexity,which seriously limits their applicability for VQA models.So far,there is no evidence of how efficient these multimodal bilinear pooling fusion techniques are for VQA systems dedicated to yes/no questions.Hence,a comparative analysis is conducted between eight bilinear pooling fusion techniques,in terms of their ability to reduce themodel complexity and improve themodel performance in this case of VQA systems.Experiments indicate that these multimodal bilinear pooling fusion techniques have improved the VQA model’s performance,until reaching the best performance of 89.25%.Further,experiments have proven that the number of answers in the developed VQA system is a critical factor that a.ects the effectiveness of these multimodal bilinear pooling techniques in achieving their main objective of reducing the model complexity.The Multimodal Local Perception Bilinear Pooling(MLPB)technique has shown the best balance between the model complexity and its performance,for VQA systems designed to answer yes/no questions.展开更多
Detecting internal defects,particularly voids behind linings,is critical for ensuring the structural integrity of aging high-speed rail(HSR)tunnel networks.While ground-penetrating radar(GPR)is widely employed,systema...Detecting internal defects,particularly voids behind linings,is critical for ensuring the structural integrity of aging high-speed rail(HSR)tunnel networks.While ground-penetrating radar(GPR)is widely employed,systematic quantification of performance boundaries for air-coupled(A-CGPR)and ground-coupled(G-CGPR)systems within the complex electromagnetic environment of multilayer reinforced HSR tunnels remains limited.This study establishes physics-based quantitative performance limits for A-CGPR and G-CGPR through rigorously validated GPRMax finite-difference time-domain(FDTD)simulations and comprehensive field validation over a 300 m operational HSR tunnel section.Key performance metrics were quantified as functions of:(a)detection distance(A-CGPR:2.0–4.5 m;G-CGPR:≤0.1 m),(b)antenna frequency(A-CGPR:300 MHz;G-CGPR:400/900 MHz),(c)reinforcement configuration(unreinforced,single-layer,multilayer rebar),and(d)void geometry(axial length:0.1–1.0 m;radial depth:0.1–0.5 m).Key findings demonstrate:a.A-CGPR(300 MHz):Reliably detects axial voids≥0.3 m at distances≤3 m in minimally reinforced(single-layer rebar)linings(field R2=0.89).Performance degrades significantly at distances>3 m(>60%signal attenuation at 4.5 m)or under multilayer rebar interference,causing 25%–40%accuracy loss for voids<0.3 m.Optimal distance:2.0–2.5 m.b.G-CGPR(900 MHz):Achieves<5%size measurement error for axial voids≥0.1 m and radial voids≥0.2 m in unreinforced linings.Resolution degrades under multilayer reinforcement due to severe signal attenuation,increasing axial void detection error to 10%–20%for voids≥0.3 m and constraining radial size measurement.c.Synergistic Framework:A hybrid inspection protocol is proposed,integrating A-CGPR(20 km/h)for rapid large-area screening and targeted G-CGPR(3 km/h)for high-resolution verification of identified anomalies.This framework enhances NDT efficiency while reducing estimated lifecycle inspection costs by 34%compared to G-CGPR alone.This research provides the first physics-derived quantitative detection thresholds for A-CGPR and G-CGPR in multi-rebar HSR tunnels,validated through field-correlated simulations.Future work will focus on multi-frequency antenna arrays and deep learning algorithms to mitigate reinforcement interference.The established performance boundaries and hybrid framework offer critical guidance for optimizing tunnel lining inspection strategies in extensive HSR networks.展开更多

The available test methods for optimal moisture content of cold recycled mixture(CRM)as well as its bulk specific gravity,and theoretical maximum relative density were analyzed in this work.Some test improvements were...The available test methods for optimal moisture content of cold recycled mixture(CRM)as well as its bulk specific gravity,and theoretical maximum relative density were analyzed in this work.Some test improvements were suggested to improve test control of the CRM road performance based on the discovered flaws.Besides,the properties of reclaimed asphalt pavement(RAP),including the content of old asphalt,penetration index,passing rate of 4.75 mm sieve,and gradation change rate after extraction,were examined.The effects of RAP characteristics on splitting tensile strength,water stability,the high-and low-temperature performance of emulsified asphalt CRM were studied.The results show that the optimum moisture content of CRM should be determined when the compaction work matches the specimen’s molding work.Among the analyzed methods of bulk specific gravity assessment,the dry-surface and CoreLok methods provide more robust and accurate results than the wax-sealing method,while the dry-surface method is the most cost-efficient.The modified theoretical maximum relative density test method is proposed,which can reduce the systematic error of the vacuum test method.The following RAP-CRM trends can be observed.The lower the content of old asphalt and the smaller the change rate of gradation,the smaller the voids and the better the water stability of CRM.The greater the penetration of old asphalt,the higher the fracture work and low-temperature splitting strength.The greater the penetration,the higher the passing rate of 4.75 mm sieve after extraction,and the worse the high-temperature performance of CRM.展开更多

In recent decades,control performance monitoring(CPM)has experienced remarkable progress in research and industrial applications.While CPM research has been investigated using various benchmarks,the historical data be...In recent decades,control performance monitoring(CPM)has experienced remarkable progress in research and industrial applications.While CPM research has been investigated using various benchmarks,the historical data benchmark(HIS)has garnered the most attention due to its practicality and effectiveness.However,existing CPM reviews usually focus on the theoretical benchmark,and there is a lack of an in-depth review that thoroughly explores HIS-based methods.In this article,a comprehensive overview of HIS-based CPM is provided.First,we provide a novel static-dynamic perspective on data-level manifestations of control performance underlying typical controller capacities including regulation and servo:static and dynamic properties.The static property portrays time-independent variability in system output,and the dynamic property describes temporal behavior driven by closed-loop feedback.Accordingly,existing HIS-based CPM approaches and their intrinsic motivations are classified and analyzed from these two perspectives.Specifically,two mainstream solutions for CPM methods are summarized,including static analysis and dynamic analysis,which match data-driven techniques with actual controlling behavior.Furthermore,this paper also points out various opportunities and challenges faced in CPM for modern industry and provides promising directions in the context of artificial intelligence for inspiring future research.展开更多
Excellent detonation performances and low sensitivity are prerequisites for the deployment of energetic materials.Exploring the underlying factors that affect impact sensitivity and detonation performances as well as ...Excellent detonation performances and low sensitivity are prerequisites for the deployment of energetic materials.Exploring the underlying factors that affect impact sensitivity and detonation performances as well as exploring how to obtain materials with desired properties remains a long-term challenge.Machine learning with its ability to solve complex tasks and perform robust data processing can reveal the relationship between performance and descriptive indicators,potentially accelerating the development process of energetic materials.In this background,impact sensitivity,detonation performances,and 28 physicochemical parameters for 222 energetic materials from density functional theory calculations and published literature were sorted out.Four machine learning algorithms were employed to predict various properties of energetic materials,including impact sensitivity,detonation velocity,detonation pressure,and Gurney energy.Analysis of Pearson coefficients and feature importance showed that the heat of explosion,oxygen balance,decomposition products,and HOMO energy levels have a strong correlation with the impact sensitivity of energetic materials.Oxygen balance,decomposition products,and density have a strong correlation with detonation performances.Utilizing impact sensitivity of 2,3,4-trinitrotoluene and the detonation performances of 2,4,6-trinitrobenzene-1,3,5-triamine as the benchmark,the analysis of feature importance rankings and statistical data revealed the optimal range of key features balancing impact sensitivity and detonation performances:oxygen balance values should be between-40%and-30%,density should range from 1.66 to 1.72 g/cm^(3),HOMO energy levels should be between-6.34 and-6.31 eV,and lipophilicity should be between-1.0 and 0.1,4.49 and 5.59.These findings not only offer important insights into the impact sensitivity and detonation performances of energetic materials,but also provide a theoretical guidance paradigm for the design and development of new energetic materials with optimal detonation performances and reduced sensitivity.展开更多
La-Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloys with superlattice structures are the new generation anode material for nickel metal hydride(Ni-MH)batteries owing to the advantages of high capacity and exceptional activation pr...La-Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloys with superlattice structures are the new generation anode material for nickel metal hydride(Ni-MH)batteries owing to the advantages of high capacity and exceptional activation properties.However,the cycling stability is not currently satisfactory enough which plagues its application.Herein,a strategy of partially substituting La with the Y element is proposed to boost the capacity durability of La-Mg-Ni-based alloys.Furthermore,phase structure regulation is implemented simultaneously to obtain the A5 B19-type alloy with good crystal stability specifically.It is found that Y promotes the phase formation of the Pr5 Co19-type phase after annealing at 985℃.The alloy containing Y contributes to the superior rate capability resulting from the promoted hydrogen diffusion rate.Notably,Y substitution enables strengthening the anti-pulverization ability of the alloy in terms of increasing the volume match between[A_(2)B_(4)]and[AB5]subunits,and effectively enhances the anti-corrosion ability of the alloy due to high electronegativity,realizing improved long-term cycling stability of the alloy from 74.2%to 78.5%after cycling 300 times.The work is expected to shed light on the composition and structure design of the La-Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloy for Ni-MH batteries.展开更多
Background Sow longevity and reproductivity are essential in the modern swine industry.Although many studies have focused on the genetic and genomic factors for selection,little is known about the associations between...Background Sow longevity and reproductivity are essential in the modern swine industry.Although many studies have focused on the genetic and genomic factors for selection,little is known about the associations between the microbiome and sows with longevity in reproduction.Results In this study,we collected and sequenced rectal and vaginal swabs from 48 sows,nine of which completed up to four parities(U4P group),exhibiting reproductive longevity.We first identified predictors of sow longevity in the rectum(e.g.,Akkermansia)and vagina(e.g.,Lactobacillus)of the U4P group using RandomForest in the early breeding stage of the first parity.Interestingly,these bacteria in the U4P group showed decreased predicted KEGG gene abundance involved in the biosynthesis of amino acids.Then,we tracked the longitudinal changes of the micro-biome over four parities in the U4P sows.LEfSe analysis revealed parity-associated bacteria that existed in both the rectum and vagina(e.g.,Streptococcus in Parity 1,Lactobacillus in Parity 2,Veillonella in Parity 4).We also identi-fied patterns of bacterial change between the early breeding stage(d 0)and d 110,such as Streptococcus,which was decreased in all four parties.Furthermore,sows in the U4P group with longevity potential also showed better reproductive performance.Finally,we discovered bacterial predictors(e.g.,Prevotellaceae NK3B31 group)for the total number of piglets born throughout the four parities in both the rectum and vagina.Conclusions This study highlights how the rectal and vaginal microbiome in sows with longevity in reproduc-tion changes within four parities.The identification of parity-associated,pregnancy-related,and reproductive performance-correlated bacteria provides the foundation for targeted microbiome modulation to improve animal production.展开更多

文摘Multi⁃performance optimization of tread rubber composites is a key issue of great concern in automotive industry.Traditional experimental design approach via“trial and error”or intuition is ineffective due to mutual inhibition among multiple properties.A“Uniform design⁃Machine learning”strategy for performance prediction and multi⁃performance optimization of tread rubber composites was proposed.The wear resistance,rolling resistance,tensile strength and wet skid resistance were simultaneously optimized.A series of feasible optimization designs were screened via statistical analysis and machine learning analysis,and were experimentally prepared.The verification experiments demonstrate that the optimization design via machine learning analysis meets the optimization requirements of all target performance,especially for Akron abrasion and 60℃tanδ(about 21%and 9%lower than the design targets,respectively)due to the inhibition of mechanical degradation and good dispersion of fillers.

文摘To overcome external environmental disturbances,inertial parameter uncertainties and vibration of flexible modes in the process of attitude tracking,a comprehensively effective predefined-time guaranteed performance controller based on multi⁃observers for flexible spacecraft is proposed.First,to prevent unwinding phenomenon in attitude description,the rotation matrix is used to represent the spacecraft’s attitude.Second,the flexible modes observer which can guarantee predefined⁃time convergence is designed,for the case where flexible vibrations are unmeasurable in practice.What’s more,the disturbance observer is applied to estimate and compensate the lumped disturbances to improve the robustness of attitude control.A predefined-time controller is proposed to satisfy the prescribed performance and stabilize the attitude tracking system via barrier Lyapunov function.Finally,through comparative numerical simulations,the proposed controller can achieve high-precision convergence compared with the existing finite-time attitude tracking controller.This paper provides certain references for the high-precision predefined-time prescribed performance attitude tracking of flexible spacecraft with multi-disturbance.

文摘Maintaining stable high temperatures under pressure remains a challenge in high-pressure,high-temperature experiments using multi-anvil presses(MAPs).Temperature fluctuations exceeding 10℃ at high pressures are common and particularly problematic with LaCrO_(3) heaters,which can experience significant power fluctuations and even failure due to substantial resistance changes—an issue conventional thyristorcontrolled heating systems cannot effectively manage.To address this limitation,we have developed the Multi-Anvil Stable Temperature controller(MASTer),a high-performance heating system optimized for MAP experiments.MASTer enables precise,high-speed measurement of heating parameters and power output control,incorporating a gentle regulation strategy to enhance stability.It ensures consistent heating across various heater types,including LaCrO_(3),with power fluctuations limited to±0.1 W and temperature fluctuations to within±2℃ in most cases.The design,operating principles,user interface,functionality,and performance of the heating system are discussed in detail.

文摘The kerosene-fueled Scramjet with multi-cavity combustor has the potential to serve aspropulsion system for hypersonic flight.However,the impact of injection positions on combustionperformance and mechanism at high Mach numbers remains uncertain.Therefore,a comparativestudy was conducted using numerical methods to explore multi-cavity Scramjet combustor perfor-mance at a flight Mach number 7.0 with different injection positions.The combustor is equippedwith 6 cavities arranged in three groups along the flow direction,each consisting of two cavities per-pendicular to the flow.It is shown that the injection location significantly influences combustionperformance:Front-injection yields higher combustion efficiency than post-injection,but post-injection is advantageous for the intake start.Additionally,regardless of injection positions,themainstream flow state near the cavities behind the injection can be categorized as supersonic flow,supersonic-subsonic coexistence flow,and subsonic flow.The optimal length from the downstreamto the trailing edge of the cavities behind the injection for achieving maximum combustion effi-ciency is determined.Further extension beyond this optimal length does not significantly increasethe combustion efficiency.In addition,the optimal length varies with different injection positions-specifically,it is about 60%longer with post-injection conditions than with front-injection con-ditions in this investigation.Moreover,significant secondary combustion within the cavities leadingto improved efficiency only occurs when mainstream flow state is either supersonic flow orsupersonic-subsonic coexistence flow.Also,with a well-optimized design,the kerosene-fueledmulti-cavity Scramjet can achieve enhanced combustion efficiency,which shows relatively smallvariation across a wide range of equivalence ratios.This might be caused by the effects of interac-tion among these multiple cavities.Therefore,these research findings can provide valuable insightsfor designing and optimizing the kerosene-fueled multi-cavity combustor in Scramjet at high Machnumbers.

文摘The effects of the structure and concentration of impurities on the alkylation of naphthalene with 1-octene catalyzed by chloroaluminate ionic liquid(IL)were investigated.The presence of impurities containing oxygen and nitrogen led to a decrease in the catalytic performance of chloroaluminate IL.As the water concentration increased to 65 mg·g^(-1),the total selectivity of multi-octylnaphthalene gradually decreased to 42.33%,and the average friction coefficient of the multi-octylnaphthalene base oil gradually increased to 0.201.When the concentration of impurities increased to a critical value,the chloroaluminate IL began to deactivate,leading to a decrease in naphthalene conversion.The critical concentrations for ethanolamine,water,methanol,ether,and diisopentyl sulfide were 33 mg·g^(-1),65 mg·g^(-1),67mg·g^(-1),87 mg·g^(-1),and 123 mg·g^(-1),respectively.Impurities with higher basicity resulted in an earlier onset of chloroaluminate IL deactivation.The changes of Lewis and Brønsted acids in chloroaluminate IL under the influence of impurities were investigated using in situ IR and 27Al NMR spectroscopy.2,6-dimethylpyridine as an indicator could detect the changes of Brønsted acid in chloroaluminate IL better,but the changes of Lewis acid were not obvious because of the overlap between the characteristic peaks.2,6-dichloropyridine as an indicator could exclusively detect the changes of Lewis acid in chloroaluminate IL.With the increase inwater concentration,the Lewis acid in chloroaluminate IL was continuously consumed and converted into Brønsted acid,and the Lewis acid gradually decreased,while the Brønsted acid showed a change of increasing first and then decreasing.

文摘Unmanned surface vehicles(USVs)play a crucial role in various fields,including ocean climate change monitoring,ma-rine resource exploitation,and ecological environment exploration.Out of the many types of USVs,unmanned sailboats have gained considerable attention for their ability to conduct green,large-scale ocean observations.Building on this concept,this paper proposes an unmanned sailboat propelled by parallel dual-wing sails,which is designed to meet the demands of extensive and three-dimensional marine comprehensive observation and data collection.With a focus on the parallel dual-wing sails,this study particularly investi-gates the effects of variations in the airfoil’s angle of attack and the impact of the spacing ratio between the dual sails on propulsion performance.It further analyzes the influence of one sail’s angle of attack on the performance of the other sail,as well as the flow field between the two sails.For the air navigation and underwater states,the force characteristics of the dual sail under different inflow velocities were investigated.The research findings indicate that,under certain conditions,the thrust coefficient exhibits a trend of first increasing,then decreasing,and finally increasing again with alterations in the angle of attackα.Different single-sail angles of attack have varying impacts on the opposite sail and the flow field between the dual sails.Moreover,the generated forces are positively correlated with inflow velocity in the air navigation and underwater states.The findings reveal that it is possible to reduce drag,mitigate the adverse effects of sail interaction,and thereby enhance the propulsion performance and overall navigational stability of the sailboat by applying an optimal spacing ratio design and adjusting the angle of attack and inflow velocity.

文摘Muscle strength training can effectively reduce muscle atrophy,activate muscle tissue and promote muscle strength recovery and growth.Based on our previous research,we developed four muscle strength training strategies by further imitating the clinical muscle strength training methods,namely,Isokinetic centriPetal-centriPetal Exercise(IPPE),Isokinetic centriPetal-centriFuge exercise(IPFE),Isokinetic centriFuge-centriPetal Exercise(IFPE)and Isokinetic centriFuge-centriFuge Exercise(IFFE).To quantitatively evaluate the performance of the developed strategies,experiments were carried out with elbow and knee joints as examples,and muscle Endurance Ratio(ER),Flexion and Extension torque ratio(F/E)and the degree of muscle activation were extracted and calculated based on angle/torque and Surface ElectroMyoGraphy(sEMG)signals.Experimental results showed that the ER value of IFFE was significantly reduced compared with IPPE,while the F/E value of IFPE was significantly increased;this suggests that muscle centrifugation corresponds to higher training intensity;In addition,flexor and extensor muscle groups showed different levels of muscle activation in different training strategies.The results reveal that combining different muscle movement characteristics,isokinetic exercise can exert special muscle strength training effects.The study can lay the foundation for exploring subject-specific adaptive muscle strength training strategies to better adapt to different levels of muscle strength.

文摘This article investigates the approaching control for fixed-wing Unmanned Aerial Vehi-cle(UAV)aerial recovery in the presence of pre-specified performance requirements,complex air-flows,maneuvering flight of transport aircraft,and different initial deviations.First,a novelcontrol-oriented Six-Degree-Of-Freedom(6-DOF)UAV model considering airflow disturbancesis established for better consistency with the actual UAV system.Then,to achieve satisfactory per-formance in the approaching process,a Flexible Appointed-time Prescribed Performance Control(FAPPC)algorithm,with the features of user-specified time convergence,no overshoot,indepen-dence from the initial value,and singularity-free,is proposed.Specifically,to solve the singularityissue encountered by the existing PPC methods in dealing with sudden disturbances,an adaptiveadjustment signal is introduced in FAPPC to perceive the threat of increasing error and relax thepreset boundaries appropriately.Moreover,minimum learning parameter-based neural networkestimators are developed to approximate unknown lumped disturbances at a low computationalcost.Finally,the stability of the closed system is analyzed via Lyapunov synthesis,and the effective-ness and advantages of the proposed control scheme are demonstrated via simulation andHardware-In-the-Loop(HIL)experimental validation.

文摘Background:Polygonum multiflorum-induced liver injury(PM-DILI)has significantly hindered its clinical application and development.Methods:This study investigates the variation in content and toxicity of dian-thrones,the toxic components of P.multiflorum,during different processing cycles.We employed the ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography triple quadrupole mass spectrometry method to quantify six dianthrones in raw P.multiflorum and formulations processed with a method called nine cycles of steaming and sunning.Additionally,toxicity assessments were conducted using human normal liver cell line L02 and zebrafish embryos.Results:Results indicate a gradual reduction in dianthrones content with increasing processing cycles.Processed formulations exhibited significantly reduced cytotoxic-ity in L02 cells and hepatotoxicity in zebrafish embryos.Conclusions:Our findings elucidate the relationship between processing cycles and P.multiflorum toxicity,providing theoretical support for its safe use.

文摘In this paper, distributed event-triggered performance constraint control is proposed for Heterogeneous Multiagent Systems (HMASs) including quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned ground vehicles in the presence of unknown external disturbances. To tackle the problem of different dynamic characteristics and facilitate the controller design, the virtual variable is introduced in the z axis of the nonlinear model of unmanned ground vehicles. By using this approach, a universal model is established for the HMAS. Moreover, a distributed disturbance observer is established to cope with the adverse influence of the external disturbances. Then, an Appointed-Time Prescribed Performance Function (ATPPF) is designed to restrict the tracking error in the predefined regions. On this basis, the distributed performance constraint controller is proposed for the HMAS based on the ATPPF and the distributed disturbance observer. Furthermore, the improved event-triggered mechanism is proposed with a dynamic threshold, which depends on the distance between the tracking error and the boundary of the ATPPF. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control method is verified by the comparative experiments on an HMAS.
文摘Visual question answering(VQA)is a multimodal task,involving a deep understanding of the image scene and the question’s meaning and capturing the relevant correlations between both modalities to infer the appropriate answer.In this paper,we propose a VQA system intended to answer yes/no questions about real-world images,in Arabic.To support a robust VQA system,we work in two directions:(1)Using deep neural networks to semantically represent the given image and question in a fine-grainedmanner,namely ResNet-152 and Gated Recurrent Units(GRU).(2)Studying the role of the utilizedmultimodal bilinear pooling fusion technique in the trade-o.between the model complexity and the overall model performance.Some fusion techniques could significantly increase the model complexity,which seriously limits their applicability for VQA models.So far,there is no evidence of how efficient these multimodal bilinear pooling fusion techniques are for VQA systems dedicated to yes/no questions.Hence,a comparative analysis is conducted between eight bilinear pooling fusion techniques,in terms of their ability to reduce themodel complexity and improve themodel performance in this case of VQA systems.Experiments indicate that these multimodal bilinear pooling fusion techniques have improved the VQA model’s performance,until reaching the best performance of 89.25%.Further,experiments have proven that the number of answers in the developed VQA system is a critical factor that a.ects the effectiveness of these multimodal bilinear pooling techniques in achieving their main objective of reducing the model complexity.The Multimodal Local Perception Bilinear Pooling(MLPB)technique has shown the best balance between the model complexity and its performance,for VQA systems designed to answer yes/no questions.

文摘Detecting internal defects,particularly voids behind linings,is critical for ensuring the structural integrity of aging high-speed rail(HSR)tunnel networks.While ground-penetrating radar(GPR)is widely employed,systematic quantification of performance boundaries for air-coupled(A-CGPR)and ground-coupled(G-CGPR)systems within the complex electromagnetic environment of multilayer reinforced HSR tunnels remains limited.This study establishes physics-based quantitative performance limits for A-CGPR and G-CGPR through rigorously validated GPRMax finite-difference time-domain(FDTD)simulations and comprehensive field validation over a 300 m operational HSR tunnel section.Key performance metrics were quantified as functions of:(a)detection distance(A-CGPR:2.0–4.5 m;G-CGPR:≤0.1 m),(b)antenna frequency(A-CGPR:300 MHz;G-CGPR:400/900 MHz),(c)reinforcement configuration(unreinforced,single-layer,multilayer rebar),and(d)void geometry(axial length:0.1–1.0 m;radial depth:0.1–0.5 m).Key findings demonstrate:a.A-CGPR(300 MHz):Reliably detects axial voids≥0.3 m at distances≤3 m in minimally reinforced(single-layer rebar)linings(field R2=0.89).Performance degrades significantly at distances>3 m(>60%signal attenuation at 4.5 m)or under multilayer rebar interference,causing 25%–40%accuracy loss for voids<0.3 m.Optimal distance:2.0–2.5 m.b.G-CGPR(900 MHz):Achieves<5%size measurement error for axial voids≥0.1 m and radial voids≥0.2 m in unreinforced linings.Resolution degrades under multilayer reinforcement due to severe signal attenuation,increasing axial void detection error to 10%–20%for voids≥0.3 m and constraining radial size measurement.c.Synergistic Framework:A hybrid inspection protocol is proposed,integrating A-CGPR(20 km/h)for rapid large-area screening and targeted G-CGPR(3 km/h)for high-resolution verification of identified anomalies.This framework enhances NDT efficiency while reducing estimated lifecycle inspection costs by 34%compared to G-CGPR alone.This research provides the first physics-derived quantitative detection thresholds for A-CGPR and G-CGPR in multi-rebar HSR tunnels,validated through field-correlated simulations.Future work will focus on multi-frequency antenna arrays and deep learning algorithms to mitigate reinforcement interference.The established performance boundaries and hybrid framework offer critical guidance for optimizing tunnel lining inspection strategies in extensive HSR networks.
文摘Rectifying circuit,as a crucial component for converting alternating current into direct current,plays a pivotal role in energy harvesting microsystems.Traditional silicon-based or germanium-based rectifier diodes hinder system integration due to their specific manufacturing processes.Conversely,metal oxide diodes,with their simple fabrication techniques,offer advantages for system integration.The oxygen vacancy defect of oxide semiconductor will greatly affect the electrical performance of the device,so the performance of the diode can be effectively controlled by adjusting the oxygen vacancy concentration.This study centers on optimizing the performance of diodes by modulating the oxygen vacancy concentration within InGaZnO films through control of oxygen flows during the sputtering process.Experimental results demonstrate that the diode exhibits a forward current density of 43.82 A·cm^(−2),with a rectification ratio of 6.94×10^(4),efficiently rectifying input sine signals with 1 kHz frequency and 5 V magnitude.These results demonstrate its potential in energy conversion and management.By adjusting the oxygen vacancy,a methodology is provided for optimizing the performance of rectifying diodes.

文摘The growing demands for energy storage systems,electric vehicles,and portable electronics have significantly pushed forward the need for safe and reliable lithium batteries.It is essential to design functional separators with improved mechanical and electrochemical characteristics.This review covers the improved mechanical and electrochemical performances as well as the advancements made in the design of separators utilizing a variety of techniques.In terms of electrolyte wettability and adhesion of the coating materials,we provide an overview of the current status of research on coated separators,in situ modified separators,and grafting modified separators,and elaborate additional performance parameters of interest.The characteristics of inorganics coated separators,organic framework coated separators and inorganic-organic coated separators from different fabrication methods are compared.Future directions regarding new modified materials,manufacturing process,quantitative analysis of adhesion and so on are proposed toward next-generation advanced lithium batteries.
文摘The available test methods for optimal moisture content of cold recycled mixture(CRM)as well as its bulk specific gravity,and theoretical maximum relative density were analyzed in this work.Some test improvements were suggested to improve test control of the CRM road performance based on the discovered flaws.Besides,the properties of reclaimed asphalt pavement(RAP),including the content of old asphalt,penetration index,passing rate of 4.75 mm sieve,and gradation change rate after extraction,were examined.The effects of RAP characteristics on splitting tensile strength,water stability,the high-and low-temperature performance of emulsified asphalt CRM were studied.The results show that the optimum moisture content of CRM should be determined when the compaction work matches the specimen’s molding work.Among the analyzed methods of bulk specific gravity assessment,the dry-surface and CoreLok methods provide more robust and accurate results than the wax-sealing method,while the dry-surface method is the most cost-efficient.The modified theoretical maximum relative density test method is proposed,which can reduce the systematic error of the vacuum test method.The following RAP-CRM trends can be observed.The lower the content of old asphalt and the smaller the change rate of gradation,the smaller the voids and the better the water stability of CRM.The greater the penetration of old asphalt,the higher the fracture work and low-temperature splitting strength.The greater the penetration,the higher the passing rate of 4.75 mm sieve after extraction,and the worse the high-temperature performance of CRM.

文摘A novel precipitate-free Mg-0.1Sn anode with a homogeneous equal-axis grain structure was developed and rolled successfully at 573 K.Electrochemical test results indicate that the Mg-0.1Sn alloy exhibits enhanced anode dissolution kinetics.A Mg-air battery prepared using this anode exhibits a cell voltage of 1.626 V at 0.5 mA/cm^(2),reasonable anodic efficiency of 58.17%,and good specific energy of 1730.96 mW·h/g at 10 mA/cm^(2).This performance is attributed to the effective reactive anode surface,the suppressed chunk effect,and weak self-corrosion owing to the homogeneous basal texture.

文摘In recent decades,control performance monitoring(CPM)has experienced remarkable progress in research and industrial applications.While CPM research has been investigated using various benchmarks,the historical data benchmark(HIS)has garnered the most attention due to its practicality and effectiveness.However,existing CPM reviews usually focus on the theoretical benchmark,and there is a lack of an in-depth review that thoroughly explores HIS-based methods.In this article,a comprehensive overview of HIS-based CPM is provided.First,we provide a novel static-dynamic perspective on data-level manifestations of control performance underlying typical controller capacities including regulation and servo:static and dynamic properties.The static property portrays time-independent variability in system output,and the dynamic property describes temporal behavior driven by closed-loop feedback.Accordingly,existing HIS-based CPM approaches and their intrinsic motivations are classified and analyzed from these two perspectives.Specifically,two mainstream solutions for CPM methods are summarized,including static analysis and dynamic analysis,which match data-driven techniques with actual controlling behavior.Furthermore,this paper also points out various opportunities and challenges faced in CPM for modern industry and provides promising directions in the context of artificial intelligence for inspiring future research.

文摘Excellent detonation performances and low sensitivity are prerequisites for the deployment of energetic materials.Exploring the underlying factors that affect impact sensitivity and detonation performances as well as exploring how to obtain materials with desired properties remains a long-term challenge.Machine learning with its ability to solve complex tasks and perform robust data processing can reveal the relationship between performance and descriptive indicators,potentially accelerating the development process of energetic materials.In this background,impact sensitivity,detonation performances,and 28 physicochemical parameters for 222 energetic materials from density functional theory calculations and published literature were sorted out.Four machine learning algorithms were employed to predict various properties of energetic materials,including impact sensitivity,detonation velocity,detonation pressure,and Gurney energy.Analysis of Pearson coefficients and feature importance showed that the heat of explosion,oxygen balance,decomposition products,and HOMO energy levels have a strong correlation with the impact sensitivity of energetic materials.Oxygen balance,decomposition products,and density have a strong correlation with detonation performances.Utilizing impact sensitivity of 2,3,4-trinitrotoluene and the detonation performances of 2,4,6-trinitrobenzene-1,3,5-triamine as the benchmark,the analysis of feature importance rankings and statistical data revealed the optimal range of key features balancing impact sensitivity and detonation performances:oxygen balance values should be between-40%and-30%,density should range from 1.66 to 1.72 g/cm^(3),HOMO energy levels should be between-6.34 and-6.31 eV,and lipophilicity should be between-1.0 and 0.1,4.49 and 5.59.These findings not only offer important insights into the impact sensitivity and detonation performances of energetic materials,but also provide a theoretical guidance paradigm for the design and development of new energetic materials with optimal detonation performances and reduced sensitivity.

文摘La-Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloys with superlattice structures are the new generation anode material for nickel metal hydride(Ni-MH)batteries owing to the advantages of high capacity and exceptional activation properties.However,the cycling stability is not currently satisfactory enough which plagues its application.Herein,a strategy of partially substituting La with the Y element is proposed to boost the capacity durability of La-Mg-Ni-based alloys.Furthermore,phase structure regulation is implemented simultaneously to obtain the A5 B19-type alloy with good crystal stability specifically.It is found that Y promotes the phase formation of the Pr5 Co19-type phase after annealing at 985℃.The alloy containing Y contributes to the superior rate capability resulting from the promoted hydrogen diffusion rate.Notably,Y substitution enables strengthening the anti-pulverization ability of the alloy in terms of increasing the volume match between[A_(2)B_(4)]and[AB5]subunits,and effectively enhances the anti-corrosion ability of the alloy due to high electronegativity,realizing improved long-term cycling stability of the alloy from 74.2%to 78.5%after cycling 300 times.The work is expected to shed light on the composition and structure design of the La-Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloy for Ni-MH batteries.

文摘Background Sow longevity and reproductivity are essential in the modern swine industry.Although many studies have focused on the genetic and genomic factors for selection,little is known about the associations between the microbiome and sows with longevity in reproduction.Results In this study,we collected and sequenced rectal and vaginal swabs from 48 sows,nine of which completed up to four parities(U4P group),exhibiting reproductive longevity.We first identified predictors of sow longevity in the rectum(e.g.,Akkermansia)and vagina(e.g.,Lactobacillus)of the U4P group using RandomForest in the early breeding stage of the first parity.Interestingly,these bacteria in the U4P group showed decreased predicted KEGG gene abundance involved in the biosynthesis of amino acids.Then,we tracked the longitudinal changes of the micro-biome over four parities in the U4P sows.LEfSe analysis revealed parity-associated bacteria that existed in both the rectum and vagina(e.g.,Streptococcus in Parity 1,Lactobacillus in Parity 2,Veillonella in Parity 4).We also identi-fied patterns of bacterial change between the early breeding stage(d 0)and d 110,such as Streptococcus,which was decreased in all four parties.Furthermore,sows in the U4P group with longevity potential also showed better reproductive performance.Finally,we discovered bacterial predictors(e.g.,Prevotellaceae NK3B31 group)for the total number of piglets born throughout the four parities in both the rectum and vagina.Conclusions This study highlights how the rectal and vaginal microbiome in sows with longevity in reproduc-tion changes within four parities.The identification of parity-associated,pregnancy-related,and reproductive performance-correlated bacteria provides the foundation for targeted microbiome modulation to improve animal production.
