Multi-strategy improved honey badger algorithm based on periodic mutation and t-distribution perturbation

The honey badger algorithm(HBA),as a new swarm intelligence(SI)optimization algorithm,has shown certain effectiveness in its applications.Aiming at the problems of unsatisfactory initial population distribution of HBA,poor ability to avoid local optimum,and slow convergence speed,this paper proposes a multi-strategy improved HBA based on periodical mutation and t-distribution perturbation,called MHBA.Firstly,a good point set population initialization is introduced to get a uniform initial population.Secondly,periodic mutation and t-distribution perturbation are successively used to improve the algorithm’s ability to avoid local optimum.Finally,the density factor is improved for balancing exploration and exploitation.By comparing MHBA with HBA and 7 other SIs on 6 benchmark functions,it is evident that the performance of MHBA is far superior to HBA.In addition,by applying MHBA to robot path planning,MHBA can identify the shortest path more quickly and consistently compared with competitors. 展开更多

In space probes,anomaly detection of sequence data collected by various sensors is essential to help detect potential faults promptly,improve the reliability of equipment operation,and ensure the smooth operation of the mission.However,sensors'signals often contain a superposition of various frequencies,changing fluctuations,and correlations between features.This complexity of data attributes makes building effective models challenging.This paper proposes a TimeEvolving Multi-Period Observational(TEMPO)anomaly detection method for space probes.First,fusing wavelet analysis and natural periods improves the ability to capture multi-period features in data.Then,the feature extraction framework proposed enhances the effectiveness of anomaly detection by comprehensively extracting the complex features of data through the multi-module synergy of temporal and channel.The results demonstrate that the proposed method enhances anomaly detection accuracy and its effectiveness is confirmed.Additionally,the ablation experiment results further validate the efficacy of each module.An evaluation of the algorithm's computational complexity confirms its suitability for real-time processing. 展开更多

The outbreak of infectious diseases is the result of a combination of various factors,including season,the movement of individuals,non-pharmaceutical interventions(NPIs)and the effectiveness and availability of vaccines.Taking these key elements into consideration,an almost periodic SVEIR warning model in the patch environment is here proposed.First,in terms of reproduction numbers,our results imply that if the effective reproduction numbers are R_(e)<1,then the disease dies out;if R_(e)>1,then the disease spreads and leads to local outbreaks.Second,the relationships between R_(e)and C_(s1),C_(a1)(see Section 2)are given by numerical simulations.The numerical results show that even if all people are vaccinated,NPIs are still needed because of the potentially low efficacy of vaccines.Furthermore,the numerical results suggest that NPIs and the strengthening of the effective rate of vaccination are essential in order to achieve herd immunity.Theories involving this model effectively explain the transmission mechanism of most infectious diseases,and provide a valuable theoretical basis for analyzing new infectious diseases in the future.Moreover,this model is helpful for the prevention and control of infectious diseases and the formulation of public health safety policies. 展开更多

Face-Pedestrian Joint Feature Modeling with Cross-Category Dynamic Matching for Occlusion-Robust Multi-Object Tracking

To address the issues of frequent identity switches(IDs)and degraded identification accuracy in multi object tracking(MOT)under complex occlusion scenarios,this study proposes an occlusion-robust tracking framework based on face-pedestrian joint feature modeling.By constructing a joint tracking model centered on“intra-class independent tracking+cross-category dynamic binding”,designing a multi-modal matching metric with spatio-temporal and appearance constraints,and innovatively introducing a cross-category feature mutual verification mechanism and a dual matching strategy,this work effectively resolves performance degradation in traditional single-category tracking methods caused by short-term occlusion,cross-camera tracking,and crowded environments.Experiments on the Chokepoint_Face_Pedestrian_Track test set demonstrate that in complex scenes,the proposed method improves Face-Pedestrian Matching F1 area under the curve(F1 AUC)by approximately 4 to 43 percentage points compared to several traditional methods.The joint tracking model achieves overall performance metrics of IDF1:85.1825%and MOTA:86.5956%,representing improvements of 0.91 and 0.06 percentage points,respectively,over the baseline model.Ablation studies confirm the effectiveness of key modules such as the Intersection over Area(IoA)/Intersection over Union(IoU)joint metric and dynamic threshold adjustment,validating the significant role of the cross-category identity matching mechanism in enhancing tracking stability.Our_model shows a 16.7%frame per second(FPS)drop vs.fairness of detection and re-identification in multiple object tracking(FairMOT),with its cross-category binding module adding aboute 10%overhead,yet maintains near-real-time performance for essential face-pedestrian tracking at small resolutions. 展开更多

Our study area covered the Eastern Himalayan Syntaxis (EHS) and its southern extension (Hengduan Mountain or western Sichuan and Yunnan (WSY)) which is located at the orthogonal and oblique collisional front between Indian and Asian continents during Cenozoic.Based on geometric and kinematic mapping of the major boundary or regional faults (Dongjug—Mainling(1), Anigiao(2) and Jali(3), Guyu(4) faults in EHS, Ailaoshan—Red River(5), Lancangjiang(6), Gaoligong(7), Binlangjiang(8) and Magok(9) faults in WSY) (see Fig.1), especially on abundant geochronological dating of the mylonitic rocks along these faults, and coupled with magmato\|metamorphic sequences of this region, we try to deal with the temporal and spatial relationships of collisional process to answer questions such as: (1) when did collision start ? (2) is thrusting as a initial and dominant deformation mode to absorb the crustal shortening after suturing, or earlier thrusting usually followed by large\|scale strike\|slip faults? In this model, three kinds of important energy mediums including byproduct gases, steam and electricity are considered, and the objective function accounts for both the change of generation and consumption of the byproduct gases and the demand of low (or middle) pressure steam and electricity for each period to maximize the benefit of products cost and minimize the consumption of energy. The results indicate that the optimal distribution scheme of byproduct gases, middle pressure steam, low pressure steam and electricity is achieved and case study shows that 6% of operation cost is reduced by using the proposed model comparing with the previous model. 展开更多

The two-scale asymptotic(TSA)expression of the displacement and the increment of temperature for composite materials with a small periodic configuration under the condition of thermoelasticity are briefly shown at first,then the multi-scale finite element algorithms based on TSA are discussed.Finally the numerical results evaluated by the multi-scale computational method are shown.It demonstrates that the basic configuration and the increment of temperature strongly influence the local strains and local stresses inside a basic cell. 展开更多

The Last Interglacial Period strata in the Milanggouwan section in the Salawusu River valley on the Ordos Plateau, China, have 8.5 sedimentary cycles composed alternately of eolian dune sands, fluvio-lacustrine facies and paleosols. Based on comprehensive analyses on the distribution of magnetic susceptibility and CaCO3 and paleo-ecology indicated by fossils in the region, it is considered that the sedimentation cycles resulted from dry-cold and warm-humid climate fluctuations. Magnetic susceptibility values and CaCO3 contents in stratigraphic sectors I, III, V and II, IV basically respectively present peaks and low vales, and the former three can in time correlate with MIS5a, MIS5c and MIS5e successively and the latter two with MIS5b and MIS5d. In addition, some horizons of eolian dune sands and the low vales of their magnetic susceptibility and CaCO3 are also correlated with 6 periods of cooling events indicated by the higher content of foraminifer Neogloboquadrina pachyderma (S.) documented in the V29—191 drill in the North Atlantic and the cold events recorded by δ 18O in the ice cores in GRIP, especially with 9 periods of dust events in Chinese Loess Plateau. 展开更多

Traditional multi-band frequency selective surface (FSS) approaches are hard to achieve a perfect resonance response in a wide band due to the limit of the onset grating lobe frequency determined by the array. To solve this problem, an approach of combining elements in different period to build a hybrid array is presented. The results of series of numerical simulation show that multi-periodicity combined element FSS, which are designed using this approach, usually have much weaker grating lobes than the traditional FSS. Furthermore, their frequency response can be well predicted through the properties of their member element FSS. A prediction method for estimating the degree of expected grating lobe energy loss in designing multi-band FSS using this approach is provided. 展开更多

By using the similar method for the Dirichlet boundary value problems in [C. Bonanno and P. Candito, Appl. Anal., 88(4) (2009), pp. 605-616], we construct two new strong maximum principles and obtain that the boundary value problem has three positive solutions for λ and μ in some suitable intervals. The growth periods(GPs, from planting/emergence to reproductive stage 8(R8) of soybean cultivars vary in different ecological regions, especially in China with a very complex soybean cropping system. In this study, a 3-yr experimental study was undertaken in three geographical locations of China from 2008 to 2010, including the Northeast(40.66-45.85°N), Huang-Huai(34.75-38.04°N) and southern(22.82-30.60°N) eco-regions with about 250 accessions in each region to clarify the classification of maturity group(MG) and identify the cultivars with stable GP to increase the knowledge about the GP distribution of soybean cultivars in China. GPs of soybean cultivars in different eco-regions were significant different with a gradual decrease from 115-125 d in the Northeast part to the 85-100 d in the southern part of China. The geographical location was the major factor for GP of cultivars from the Northeast, while the year of planting was the major factor affecting the stability of GPs in Huang-Huai summer and southern summer soybean. AMMI2(additive main effects and multiplicativeinteraction)-Biplot analysis showed that the GPs of soybean cultivars from the Northeast eco-region have a comparatively satisfactory environmental stability. Moreover, soybean cultivars with moderate GP/MG and stable environment adaptability in different eco-regions were identified based on the linear regression and AMMI analysis, which was important for the accurate classification of soybean MGs in future. Taken together, our results reflected the genetic diversity, geographical distribution and environmental stability of the Chinese soybean GP trait. Soybean cultivars with stable GP for various Chinese eco-regions would be beneficial for Chinese soybean genetic improvement, varietal introduction, exchange, and soybean breeding program for wide adaptability. 展开更多

Dairy cattle undergo dramatic metabolic, endocrine, physiologic and immune changes during the peripartal period largely due to combined increases in energy requirements for fetal growth and development, milk production, and decreased dry matter intake. The negative nutrient balance that develops results in body fat mobilization,subsequently leading to triacylglycerol(TAG) accumulation in the liver along with reductions in liver function,immune dysfunction and a state of inflammation and oxidative stress. Mobilization of muscle and gluconeogenesis are also enhanced, while intake of vitamins and minerals is decreased, contributing to metabolic and immune dysfunction and oxidative stress. Enhancing post-ruminal supply of methyl donors is one approach that may improve immunometabolism and production synergistically in peripartal cows. At the cellular level, methyl donors(e.g. methionine, choline, betaine and folic acid) interact through one-carbon metabolism to modulate metabolism,immune responses and epigenetic events. By modulating those pathways, methyl donors may help increase the export of very low-density lipoproteins to reduce liver TAG and contribute to antioxidant synthesis to alleviate oxidative stress. Thus, altering one-carbon metabolism through methyl donor supplementation is a viable option to modulate immunometabolism during the peripartal period. This review explores available data on the regulation of one-carbon metabolism pathways in dairy cows in the context of enzyme regulation, cellular sensors and signaling mechanisms that might respond to increased dietary supply of specific methyl donors. Effects of methyl donors beyond the one-carbon metabolism pathways, including production performance, immune cell function,mechanistic target or rapamycin signaling, and fatty acid oxidation will also be highlighted. Furthermore, the effects of body condition and feeding system(total mixed ration vs. pasture) on one-carbon metabolism pathways are explored. Potential effects of methyl donor supply during the pepartum period on dairy calf growth and development also are discussed. Lastly, practical nutritional recommendations related to methyl donor metabolism during the peripartal period are presented. Nutritional management during the peripartal period is a fertile area of research, hence, underscoring the importance for developing a systems understanding of the potential immunometabolic role that dietary methyl donors play during this period to promote health and performance. 展开更多

Inspired by natural porous architectures,numerous attempts have been made to generate porous structures.Owing to the smooth surfaces,highly interconnected porous architectures,and mathematical controllable geometry features,triply periodic minimal surface(TPMS)is emerging as an outstanding solution to constructing porous structures in recent years.However,many advantages of TPMS are not fully utilized in current research.Critical problems of the process from design,manufacturing to applications need further systematic and integrated discussions.In this work,a comprehensive overview of TPMS porous structures is provided.In order to generate the digital models of TPMS,the geometry design algorithms and performance control strategies are introduced according to diverse requirements.Based on that,precise additive manufacturing methods are summarized for fabricating physical TPMS products.Furthermore,actual multidisciplinary applications are presented to clarify the advantages and further potential of TPMS porous structures.Eventually,the existing problems and further research outlooks are discussed. 展开更多

Current exploration needs are satisfied by multisource technology,which offers low cost,high efficiency,and high precision.The delay time,which determines the separation effects of the multisource blended data,is one of the most crucial parameters in the acquisition and separation of multisource data.This study uses the deblending method of multisource data based on a periodically varying cosine code and analyses the effects of the two parameters,namely,the period amplitude and period length,used in this method on the separation of the multisource blended data.Meanwhile,the obtained coherence data is used to prove the correlation between the separation of multisource data and the two parameters.Examples of synthetic and field data are adopted to demonstrate that from a qualitative perspective,increasing the amplitude of the periodic code improves the separation effect within a reasonable delay time range.When the period length varies in a suitable range,the secondary noise becomes relatively incoherent,resulting in the separation result with a higher signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).From a quantitative perspective,the significant values(Sig.)of the period amplitude and length on the SNRs are less than 0.05,verifying the correlation between the separation of multisource data and the two parameters. 展开更多

野外环境下天然未知矿物的快速识别受限于不同光谱设备分辨率差异、样本量不足导致的模型泛化能力弱以及高维复杂光谱特征的提取能力有限这三个难题。为了解决上述难题,该文设计并实现了一种多尺度卷积神经网络结合光谱样本生成的拉曼... 野外环境下天然未知矿物的快速识别受限于不同光谱设备分辨率差异、样本量不足导致的模型泛化能力弱以及高维复杂光谱特征的提取能力有限这三个难题。为了解决上述难题,该文设计并实现了一种多尺度卷积神经网络结合光谱样本生成的拉曼光谱分类模型,并联立便携式拉曼光谱仪实现了野外未知矿物的快速识别。首先,三次样条曲线拟合算法被用于实现不同设备所采集光谱的维数匹配,从而消除不同光谱设备之间采样分辨率的差异。其次,全球矿物光谱库包含1648类矿物的5668个光谱样本被送入生成对抗网络进行训练并产生15000个扩增样本,从而缓解了数据稀缺性对模型分类性能的制约。此外,一种新的多尺度深度卷积网络被用于同步提取拉曼光谱的宽峰与窄峰特征,从而增强复杂光谱的表征能力。实验中将所提出的模型与k-近邻(k-NN)、支持向量机(SVM)和随机森林(RF)等几类经典机器学习模型对未知矿物的识别性能进行对比。结果表明,所提出的多尺度卷积神经网络结合光谱样本生成的分类模型对未知矿物拉曼光谱的判别准确率远超其他传统机器学习模型,其top-1和top-3的准确率值分别为93.26%和98.94%。使用所提出的模型结合便携式拉曼光谱系统对50类未知天然矿石样本进行了识别,其准确率达到100%,单个样本的识别时间仅为1~2 min,体现了该方法快速、精确和无需取样制样的优势。 展开更多
