Wireless sensor networks are widely used for its flexibility, but they also suffer from problems like limited capacity, large node number and vulnerability to security threats. In this paper, we propose a multi-path routing protocol based on the credible cluster heads. The protocol chooses nodes with more energy remained as cluster heads at the cluster head choosing phase, and then authenticates them by the neighbor cluster heads. Using trust mechanisms it creates the credit value, and based on the credit value the multi-path cluster head routing can finally be found. The credit value is created and exchanged among the cluster heads only. Theoretical analysis combined with simulation results demonstrate that this protocol can save the resource, prolong the lifetime, and ensure the security and performance of the network. 展开更多

Employing multiple channels in wireless multihop networks is regarded as an effective approach to increas-ing network capacity. This paper presents a centralized quasi-static channel assignment for multi-radio multi-channel Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs). The proposed channel assignment can efficiently utilize multiple channels with only 2 radios equipped on each mesh router. In the scheme, the network end-to-end traffics are first modeled by probing data at wireless access points, and then the traffic load between each pair of neighboring routers is further estimated using an interference-aware estimation algorithm. Having knowledge of the expected link load, the scheme assigns channels to each radio with the objective of mini-mizing network interference, which as a result greatly improves network capacity. The performance evalua-tion shows that the proposed scheme is highly responsive to varying traffic conditions, and the network per-formance under the channel assignment significantly outperforms the single-radio IEEE 802.11 network as well as the 2-radio WMN with static 2 channels. 展开更多

The inception of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) has brought convenience into many lives with uninterrupted wireless network. The nodes that transmit data consist of heterogeneous and battery equipped sensor nodes (SNs) that are deployed randomly for network surveillance. To manage the random deployment of nodes, clustering algorithms are used with efficient routing protocols. This results in aggregation and dropping of redundant data packets that enables flawless data transmission from cluster nodes to Base Station (BS) via Cluster Heads (CHs). In this paper, a dynamic and multi-hop clustering and routing protocol for thorough behavior analysis is proposed, taking distance and energy into consideration. This forms a smooth routing path from the cluster nodes, CHs, Sub-CHs to the BS. On comparing proposed process with the existing system, experimental analysis shows a significant enhancement in the performance of network lifetime, with improved data aggregation, throughput, as the protocol showing deterministic behavior while traversing the network for data transmission, we name this protocol as Multi-hop Deterministic energy efficient Routing protocol (MDR). 展开更多

Joint routing and rate allocation for multiple video streams in ad-hoc wireless networks

The support for multiple video streams in an ad-hoc wireless network requires appropriate routing and rate allocation measures ascertaining the set of links for transmitting each stream and the encoding rate of the video to be delivered over the chosen links. The routing and rate allocation procedures impact the sustained quality of each video stream measured as the mean squared error (MSE) distortion at the receiver, and the overall network congestion in terms of queuing delay per link. We study the trade-off between these two competing objectives in a convex optimization formulation, and discuss both centralized and dis- tributed solutions for joint routing and rate allocation for multiple streams. For each stream, the optimal allocated rate strikes a balance between the selfish motive of minimizing video distortion and the global good of minimizing network congestions, while the routes are chosen over the least-congested links in the network. In addition to detailed analysis, network simulation results using ns-2 are presented for studying the optimal choice of parameters and to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed measures. 展开更多

Aiming to enhance the accuracy of attack detection, the multi-class method is constructed with Hadamard matrix and two-class Support Vector Machines. In order to minimize the complexity of the algorithm, sparse coding method is applied in this paper. The comprehensive experimental results show that this modified multi-class method has better attack detection rate compared with other three coding algorithms, and its time efficiency is higher than Hadamard coding algorithm. 展开更多

There are various data generating sources that are responsible for such a tremendous data growth rate. Some of the data origins include data from the various social media, footages from video cameras, wireless and wired sensor network measurements, data from the stock markets and other financial transaction data, supermarket transaction data and so on. The aforementioned data may be high dimensional and big in Volume, Value, Velocity, Variety, and Veracity. Hence one of the crucial challenges is the storage, processing and extraction of relevant information from the data. In the special case of image data, the technique of image compressions may be employed in reducing the dimension and volume of the data to ensure it is convenient for processing and analysis. In this work, we examine a proof-of-concept multiresolution analytics that uses wavelet transforms, that is one popular mathematical and analytical framework employed in signal processing and representations, and we study its applications to the area of compressing image data in wireless sensor networks. The proposed approach consists of the applications of wavelet transforms, threshold detections, quantization data encoding and ultimately apply the inverse transforms. The work specifically focuses on multi-resolution analysis with wavelet transforms by comparing 3 wavelets at the 5 decomposition levels. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the methodology. 展开更多

In wireless sensor networks(WSNs) with single sink,the nodes close to the sink consume their energy too fast due to transferring a large number of data packages,resulting in the "energy hole" problem.Deploying multiple sink nodes in WSNs is an effective strategy to solve this problem.A multi-sink deployment strategy based on improved particle swarm clustering optimization(IPSCO) algorithm for WSNs is proposed in this paper.The IPSCO algorithm is a combination of the improved particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm and K-means clustering algorithm.According to the sink nodes number K,the IPSCO algorithm divides the sensor nodes in the whole network area into K clusters based on the distance between them,making the total within-class scatter to minimum,and outputs the center of each cluster.Then,multiple sink nodes in the center of each cluster can be deployed,to achieve the effects of partition network reasonably and deploy multi-sink nodes optimally.The simulation results show that the deployment strategy can prolong the network lifetime. 展开更多

Numerous schemes are proposed to augment the life time of sensors based on the wide range of parameters. In majority of the cases, the center of attraction will be the nodes’ lifetime enhancement and routing. In the scenario of cluster based WSN, multi-hop mode of communication reduces the communication cast by increasing average delay and also increases the routing overhead. In this proposed scheme, two ideas are introduced to overcome the delay and routing overhead. To achieve the higher degree in the lifetime of the nodes, the residual energy (remaining energy) of the nodes for multi-hop node choice is taken into consideration first. Then the modification in the routing protocol is evolved (Multi-Hop Dynamic Path-Selection Algorithm—MHDP). A dynamic path updating is initiated in frequent interval based on nodes residual energy to avoid the data loss due to path extrication and also to avoid the early dying of nodes due to elevation of data forwarding. The proposed method improves network’s lifetime significantly. The diminution in the average delay and increment in the lifetime of network are also accomplished. The MHDP offers 50% delay lesser than clustering. The average residual energy is 20% higher than clustering and 10% higher than multi-hop clustering. The proposed method improves network lifetime by 40% than clustering and 30% than multi-hop clustering which is considerably much better than the preceding methods. 展开更多

基于改进圆启发算法的WSN分簇路由算法

分簇路由算法广泛用于提高无线传感器网络的能量效率,但簇内多对一的数据传输模式与簇间多跳转发机制,易导致网络负载分配不均、节点能量消耗失衡,进而缩减网络整体生命周期。基于圆启发算法(Circle-Inspired Optimization Algorithm, C... 分簇路由算法广泛用于提高无线传感器网络的能量效率,但簇内多对一的数据传输模式与簇间多跳转发机制,易导致网络负载分配不均、节点能量消耗失衡,进而缩减网络整体生命周期。基于圆启发算法(Circle-Inspired Optimization Algorithm, CIOA),文章结合半固定分簇方法,给出了一种新的无线传感器网络(Wireless Sensor Network, WSN)分簇路由算法。在成簇阶段,文章通过半固定分簇的方法保证簇群能量的均衡;在簇头选择阶段,构建多因素权重模型,避免低能量节点被选为簇头。同时,引入改进圆启发算法(Improved CIOA,ICIOA)优化数据传输阶段,实现通信距离与能耗的协同优化。仿真结果表明:文章给出的算法与其他算法相比,减少了节点能耗,有效延长了网络存活时间。 展开更多

电机的转矩均衡是指在运行过程中使不同电机单位产生的力矩平衡或趋于平衡现象,通过实现转矩均衡远程控制,可以减少非对称载荷和转矩峰值的影响,提高电机系统的整体性能和稳定性。为此,提出基于无线传感器的多电机转矩均衡远程控制方法... 电机的转矩均衡是指在运行过程中使不同电机单位产生的力矩平衡或趋于平衡现象,通过实现转矩均衡远程控制,可以减少非对称载荷和转矩峰值的影响,提高电机系统的整体性能和稳定性。为此,提出基于无线传感器的多电机转矩均衡远程控制方法。采用JN338A无线传感器监测多电机转矩,利用堵转检测法补偿和修正多电机转矩数据中由于传感器测量误差和外界干扰带来的转矩波动,将该数据传输给环形耦合控制器,通过该控制器实现多电机转矩的均衡远程控制。实验结果表明,所提方法控制下,转矩误差在第12 s便可以恢复到稳定状态、不同负载下的转矩始终在0.07 N·m以下、t=5 s之后电机转矩波动幅度稳定在1 N·m以内,所提方法能够有效提高多电机转矩的控制精度和稳定性。 展开更多

可转向天线赋能低空通感融合新范式:基础原理与未来展望

随着低空经济的快速发展,低空飞行活动将会日益频繁,对低空通信网络的连续可靠覆盖以及飞行器的精准监管提出了更高要求,亟须无线通信系统在三维空间提供高可靠、低时延、广覆盖的通信感知一体化服务。传统多输入多输出(Multiple-Input ... 随着低空经济的快速发展,低空飞行活动将会日益频繁,对低空通信网络的连续可靠覆盖以及飞行器的精准监管提出了更高要求,亟须无线通信系统在三维空间提供高可靠、低时延、广覆盖的通信感知一体化服务。传统多输入多输出(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output,MIMO)系统受限于固定天线架构,导致空间自由度不足,加之硬件规模扩展受限,难以突破性能上限。本文提出基于可转向天线(Rotatable Antenna,RA)的无线通信系统创新架构,通过灵活的视轴朝向调整,发掘了天线阵列全新的空间自由度,展现出提升低空无线网络性能的重要潜力。具体而言,可转向天线通过机械转动或电子控制方式灵活调整天线视轴朝向,从而改善通信信道条件,提升通信范围和频谱效率。本文概述了可转向天线技术,包括其应用前景、硬件架构及辐射方向图特性。随后重点阐述了可转向天线在干扰抑制、空间复用和灵活波束赋形等方面对通信性能的提升。此外,本文还探讨了可转向天线系统设计中的关键挑战,包括扫描调度、信道估计、视轴朝向优化及可转向天线配置等问题。实测结果表明,当用户处于扇区边缘时,可转向天线相较于固定天线能带来7 dB的信噪比提升。同时,仿真结果表明,在多用户通信场景下,可转向天线可提高信号与干扰加噪声比约3.2 dB;在通信感知一体化场景下,在同等通信速率约束下,其目标探测功率可提升至10倍以上。可转向天线凭借其独特的天线/阵列转动自由度,具备适应未来复杂通信需求的潜力,有望成为下一代通信网络构建智能、可靠、灵活低空无线网络的关键技术。 展开更多

以丰富网络节点近邻入侵特征、能够及时发现潜在无线通信网络节点近邻入侵,防止入侵者进一步破坏无线通信网络或窃取敏感信息为目的,文中提出一种多分支平滑空洞卷积的无线通信网络节点近邻入侵预警方法。通过建立无线通信网络图信号模... 以丰富网络节点近邻入侵特征、能够及时发现潜在无线通信网络节点近邻入侵,防止入侵者进一步破坏无线通信网络或窃取敏感信息为目的,文中提出一种多分支平滑空洞卷积的无线通信网络节点近邻入侵预警方法。通过建立无线通信网络图信号模型,在该模型内以无向图呈现无线通信网络节点拓扑和节点信号,并使用傅里叶变换获得无线通信网络节点近邻的图信号分量,将其作为输入,使用多分支平滑空洞卷积网络模型检测无线通信网络节点近邻是否存在入侵;然后运用JMX通告机制对存在入侵的无线通信网络节点近邻进行预警通知。实验结果表明:该方法具备较强的无线通信网络图信号模型构建能力,可准确检测无线通信网络节点近邻入侵,并可以弹窗通知的形式向用户发出无线通信网络节点近邻入侵预警,应用效果较佳。 展开更多
