In the last ten years, however, there has been dramatic growth in foreign direct investment (FDI) from China. It is a comparatively new phenomenon that challenges the classic FDI theories. In this paper, we review the pros and cons of two important theories, known as the Owner- ship-Location-Internalization (0LI) model and Linkage-Leverage-Learning (LLL) model, and use the statistical data and company case studies from China to test the plausibility of these two models. Model 1 determines the searching area. We predict the trajectory of floats generated after the disintegration of the plane by using RBF neural network model, and then determine the searching area according to the trajectory. With the pass of time, the searching area will also be constantly moving along the trajectory. Model 2 develops a maritime search plan to achieve the purpose of completing the search in the shortest time. We optimize the searching time and transform the problem into the 0-1 knapsack problem. Solving this problem by improved genetic algorithm, we can get the shortest searching time and the best choice for the search power.展开更多

However, in related works about the optimization of SVC-based video streaming over Software Defined Network(SDN), most of the them are focused either on the number of transmission layers or on the optimization of transmission path for specific layer. In this paper, we propose a noval optimization algorithm for SVC to dynamically adjust the number of layers and optimize the transmission paths simultaneously. We establish the problem model based on the 0/1 knapsack model, and then solve it with Artificial Fish Swarm Algorithm. Additionally, the simulations are carried out on the Mininet platform, which show that our approach can dynamically adjust the number of layers and select the optimal paths at the same time. As a result, it can achieve an effective allocation of network resources which mitigates the congestion and reduces the loss of non-SVC stream.展开更多

Th...Smartphones typically compute position using duty-cycled Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) L1 code measurements and Single Point Positioning (SPP) processing with the aid of cellular and other measurements. This internal positioning solution has an accuracy of several tens to hundreds of meters in realistic environments (hand-held, vehicle dashboard, suburban, urban forested, etc.). With the advent of multi-constellation, dual-frequency GNSS chips in smartphones, along with the ability to extract raw code and carrier-phase measurements, it is possible to use Precise Point Positioning (PPP) to improve positioning without any additional equipment. This research analyses GNSS measurement quality parameters from a Xiaomi MI 8 dual-frequency smartphone in varied, realistic environments. In such environments, the system suffers from frequent phase loss-of-lock leading to data gaps. The smartphone measurements have low and irregular carrier-to-noise (C/N0) density ratio and high multipath, which leads to poor or no positioning solution. These problems are addressed by implementing a prediction technique for data gaps and a C/N0-based stochastic model for assigning realistic a priori weights to the observables in the PPP processing engine. Using these conditioning techniques, there is a 64% decrease in the horizontal positioning Root Mean Square (RMS) error and 100% positioning solution availability in sub-urban environments tested. The horizontal and 3D RMS were 20 cm and 30 cm respectively in a static open-sky environment and the horizontal RMS for the realistic kinematic scenario was 7 m with the phone on the dashboard of the car, using the SwiftNav Piksi Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) solu-tion as reference. The PPP solution, computed using the YorkU PPP engine, also had a 5-10% percentage point more availability than the RTK solution, computed using RTKLIB software, since missing measurements in the logged file cause epoch rejection and a non-continuous solution, a problem which is solved by prediction for the PPP solution. The internal unaided positioning solution of the phone obtained from the logged NMEA (The National Marine Elec-tronics Association) file was computed using point positioning with the aid of measurements from internal sensors. The PPP solution was 80% more accurate than the internal solution which had periodic drifts due to non-continuous computation of solution.展开更多

If mixing between these two 1 states exists, Ds1^* (2700) ± and DsJ^*(2860)± could be interpreted as the two orthogonal mixed states with mixing angle θ ≈-80 °in the case of a special β for each meson. However, in the case of a universal β for all mesons, D_(s1)~*(2700) ± could be interpreted as the mixed state of 23S1 and 13D1 with mixing angle 12° θ 21° but D_(sJ)~*(2860)± seems difficult to interpret as the orthogonal partner of D(s1)~*(2700)±.展开更多

As it refers to non-perturbative QCD, however, it has only a certain application range. Even though it successfully explains the transition data among members of the T (ψ ) family, as Eichten indicates, beyond the production threshold of mediate states it fails to match data by several orders of magnitude. In this work, by studying a simple decay mode D* → D + π, where a pion may be emitted before D* transitions into D, we analyze the contribution of QCD multipole expansion. As the Dπ portal is open, the dominant contribution is an OZI-allowed process where a light quark-pair is excited out from vacuum, and its contribution can be evaluated by the 3P0 model. Since direct pion emission is OZI-suppressed and violates isospin conservation, its contribution must be much smaller than the dominant one. By a careful calculation, we estimate that the QCDME contribution should be 34 orders smaller than the dominant contribution and this result can offer a quantitative interpretation for Eichten's statement.展开更多

文摘Contemporary methods for visualizing phenotypic evolution, such as phylomorphospaces, often reveal patter ns which depart strongly from a naive expectation of con siste ntly divergent branchi ng and expansion.Instead, branches regularly crisscross as convergence, reversals,or other forms of homoplasy occur, forming patterns described as"birds'nests","flies in vials",or less elegantly,"a mess".In other words, the phenotypic tree of life often appears highly tangled.Various explanations are given for this, such as differential degrees of developmental constraint, adaptation,or lack of adaptation. However, null expectations for the magnitude of disorder or"tangling"have never been established,so it is unclear which or even whether various evolutionary factors are required to explain messy patter ns of evolution.I simulated evolution along phyloge nies under a number of varying parameters(number of taxa and number of traits)and models(Brownian motion,Ornstein-Uhlenbeck(OU)-based,early burst, and character displacement(CD) and quantified disorder using 2 measures. All models produce substantial amounts of disorder.Disorder increases with tree size and the number of phenotypic traits.OU models produced the largest amounts of disorder-adaptive peaks influence lineages to evolve within restricted areas, with concomitant in creases in crossing of branches and density of evolution.Large early cha nges in trait values can be important in minimizing disorder.CD consistently produced trees with low(but not absent)disorder.Overall, neither constraints nor a lack of adaptation is required to explain messy phylomorphospaces-both stochastic and deterministic processes can act to produce the tantalizingly tangled phenotypic tree of life.

文摘The water quality of rivers flowing into lakes is a reflection of the regional environment and significantly contributes to the nutrient levels of the lake.Based on multi-year monitoring data of the estuarine water quality of the Zi River which flows into the Dongting Lake, single factor analysis was performed for the dissolved oxygen, nitrogen ammonia(NH3-N),chemical oxygen demand, total phosphorus, permanganate index, and biochemical oxygen demand. The analysis indicated that the estuarine water quality class was dependent on the NH3-N level. The NH3-N trend of the Zi River was then simulated using an improved grey model IGM(0,N)based on a grey correlation analysis. The IGM(0,N)model produced a smaller average relative error and a more accurate prediction compared with a multiple regression model, thus validating the use of the IGM(0,N)model as a suitable method to simulate the estuarine water quality with a complex multi-factor system.
文摘In this paper, we construct two models for the searching task for a lost plane. Solving this problem by improved genetic algorithm, we can get the shortest searching time and the best choice for the search power.
文摘Scalable video coding(SVC) is a powerful tool to solve the network heterogeneity and terminal diversity in video applications. As a result, it can achieve an effective allocation of network resources which mitigates the congestion and reduces the loss of non-SVC stream.

文摘The type B aortic dissection(TBAD)is a perilous disease with high morbidity and mortality rates. The hemodynamics of TBAD in different scenarios has been widely studied by computational fluid dynamics(CFD)research. However, the flow pattern and wave propagation characteristics in the cardiovascular system with TBAD are not yet clear, and the effect of the distal tear is still unknown. In this work,a onedimensional(1D)cardiovascular system model coupling with a zero-dimensional(0D)lumped-parameter model is introduced to study the hemodynamics and wave propagation in the cardiovascular system. The results show that the proposed 0D-1D method well captures the oscillation and retrograde characteristics for the flow in the false lumen(FL),and the smaller distal tear damps the retrograde flow.Besides, the distal tear should also be paid attention to,and the wave intensity(WI)can be used as an access mark of the degree of the aortic dissection(AD).

文摘By using the ^(3)P_(0) pair creation model,we provide a detailed derivation of the transition matrix for a baryon decaying into a meson-baryon system. This analysis was successfully conducted for a meson in[J.Segovia,D.R.Entem,and F.Fernandez,Phys.Lett.B 715,322(2012),and we extend the same formalism to the baryon sector, focusing on the △(1232)→πN strong decay width because all hadrons involved in the reaction are very well established, the two hadrons in the final state are stable and require no further analysis, all quarks are light and thus equivalent, and the decay width of the process is relatively well measured.Utilizing a very common Rayleigh-Ritz variational method to solve the 2-and 3-body Schodinger bound-state equation in which the hadron's radial wave functions are expanded in terms of a Gaussian basis,we can relate the expression of the invariant matrix element with the mean-square radii of hadrons involved in the decay. We use their experimental measures in such a way that only the strength of the quark-antiquark pair creation from the vacuum is a free parameter. This is then taken from our previous study on strong decay widths in the meson sector[J.Segovia,D.R.Entem,and F.Fernandez,Phys.Lett.B 715,322(2012),and the obtained results are compatible with the experimental results for the calculated △(1232)→πN decay width.Despite requiring the calculation of additional baryon strong decays,a feasible avenue towards a unified description of both baryon and meson strong decay widths within a single constituent quark model framework may be attainable. Finally, this research has been developed to lay the foundation for a novel raft of applications to exotic hadrons,i.e.,the description of the baryon's coupling to meson-baryon thresholds, one of the mechanisms that is considered to be responsible for providing either a large renormalization to naive states or genuine dynamicallygenerated meson-baryon molecules.

文摘Considering phase changes associated with a high-temperature molten material cooled down from the outside, this work presents an improvement of the modelling and the numerical simulation of such processes for an application pertaining to the safety of light water nuclear reactors.Postulating a core meltdown accident, the behaviour of the core melt(aka corium)into a steel vessel is of tremendous importance when evaluating the vessel integrity.Evaluating correctly the heat fluxes requires the numerical simulation of the interaction between the liquid material and its solid counterpart which forms during the solidification process, but also may melt back.To simulate this configuration,encoun-tered in various industrial applications, one considers a bi-phase model constituted by a liquid phase in contact and interaction with its solid phase. The liquid phase may solidify in presence of low energetic source, while the solid phase may melt due to an intense heat flux from the high-temperature liquid. In the frame of the in-house legacy code, several simplifying assumptions(0D multi-layer discretization, instantaneous heat transfer via a quadratic temperature profile in solids)are made for the modelling of such phase changes. In the present work, these shortcomings are illustrated and further overcome by solving a 2D heat conduction model in the solid by a mixed Raviart-Thomas finite element method coupled to the liquid phase due to heat and mass exchanges through Stefan condition. The liquid phase is modeled with a 0D multi-layer approach. The 0D-liquid and 2D-solid mod-els are coupled by a Stefan like phase change interface model.Several sanity checks are performed to assess the validity of the approach on 1D and 2D academical configurations for which exact or reference solutions are available. Then more advanced situations(genu-ine multi-dimensional phase changes and an"industrial-like scenario")are simulated to verify the appropriate behavior of the obtained coupled simulation scheme.

文摘Smartphones typically compute position using duty-cycled Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) L1 code measurements and Single Point Positioning (SPP) processing with the aid of cellular and other measurements. The PPP solution was 80% more accurate than the internal solution which had periodic drifts due to non-continuous computation of solution.

文摘Mixing between the 2^3S1 and 1^3D1Ds is studied within the 3P0 model. If mixing between these two 1 states exists, Ds1^* (2700) ± and DsJ^*(2860)± could be interpreted as the two orthogonal mixed states with mixing angle θ ≈-80 °in the case of a special β for each meson. However, in the case of a universal β for all mesons, D_(s1)~*(2700) ± could be interpreted as the mixed state of 23S1 and 13D1 with mixing angle 12° θ 21° but D_(sJ)~*(2860)± seems difficult to interpret as the orthogonal partner of D(s1)~*(2700)±.

文摘The Babar Collaboration announced two new excited charmed baryons c(3055)^+ and c(3123)^+. We study their strong decays assuming they are D-wave states. Some assignments are excluded by comparing our numerical results with the experimental values of the total widths of c(3055)^+ and c(3123)^+. We also suggest some possible decay modes, which will be helpful to determine the properties of c(3055)^+ and c(3123)^+.

文摘The QCD multipole expansion (QCDME) is based on quantum field theory and has been extensively applied to study transitions among Y and ψ family members. By a careful calculation, we estimate that the QCDME contribution should be 34 orders smaller than the dominant contribution and this result can offer a quantitative interpretation for Eichten's statement.

文摘In this work, we tentatively assign the charmed mesons D J(2580), D*J(2650), D J(2740), D*J(2760),D J(3000) and D*J(3000) observed by the LHCb collaboration according to their spin, parity and masses, then systematically study their strong decays to ground state charmed mesons plus pseudoscalar mesons with the3P0 decay model. Based on these studies, we assign the D*J(2760) as the 1D5/23-state, the D*J(3000) as the 1F5/22+or 1F7/24+state, the D J(3000) as the 1F7/23+or 2P1/21+state in the D meson family. As a byproduct, we also study the strong decays of the states 2P1/20+, 2P3/22+, 3S1/21-, 3S1/20-etc, which will be valuable in searching for the partners of these D mesons.

文摘In order to make a further confirmation of the assignments of the excited bottom and bottom-strange mesons B1(5721),B2^*(5747),Bs1(5830)and Bs2^*(5840)and identify possible assignments of BJ(5840)and BJ(5970),we study the strong decay of these states with the 3P0 decay model. Our analysis supports the assignments of B1(5721)and B2*(5747)as the 1P'1 and 1^3P2 states, and Bs1(5830)and Bs2^*(5840)as the strange partners of B1(5721)and B2^*(5747).Besides,we tentatively identify the recently observed BJ(5840)and BJ(5970)as the 2^3S1 and 13D3 states. It is noted that these conclusions need further confirmation by measurements of the decay channels BJ(5840)→Bπand BJ(5970)→Bπ.
