Introducing a drought index to a crop model can help to reduce the gap between the simulated and statistical yield

A well-established and pre-calibrated crop model can normally represent the overall characteristics of crop growth and yield.However,it can hardly include all relevant factors that affect the yield,and usually overestimates the crop yield when extreme weather conditions occur.In this study,the authors first introduced a drought index(the Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index)into a process-based crop model(the Agro-C model).Then,the authors evaluated the model’s performance in simulating the historical crop yields in a double cropping system in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain of China,by comparing the model simulations to the statistical records.The results showed that the adjusted Agro-C model significantly improved its performance in simulating the yields of both maize and wheat as affected by drought events,compared with its original version.It can be concluded that incorporating a drought index into a crop model is feasible and can facilitate closing the gap between simulated and statistical yields. 展开更多

Bacckground:Based on the 3C model,this study explores the current situation of HPV vaccine hesitancy among women of childbearing age and the factors influencing vaccine hesitancy.Methods:Based on the free cervical cancer screening project in Baoan District,this study designed a questionnaire under the framework of vaccine hesitation 3C theory and carried out a self-filling electronic questionnaire survey among women of childbearing age.Results:The rate of HPV vaccination awareness among women of childbearing age in Bao’an District was 93.25%.HPV vaccine acceptance reached 71.55%,and 24.59%of the survey respondents experienced HPV vaccine hesitation,a high percentage of whom were hesitant.The influencing factors of HPV vaccine hesitation among women of childbearing age were perceived necessity of HPV vaccination(0.482),no one around them receiving the HPV vaccine(0.411),perception of the price of the vaccine(0.354),degree of trust in the safety of the vaccine(0.223),and degree of concern about the HPV vaccine(0.153).Conclusion:The 3C model can be used for the study of HPV vaccine hesitancy.Strengthening the publicity of HPV vaccination and improving women’s knowledge of the HPV vaccine can reduce their hesitation toward HPV vaccination. 展开更多

Background:The precise insertion of large DNA fragments(>3–5 kb)remains one of the key obstacles in establishment of genetically modified murine models.Methods:A 21 kb large DNA fragment containing three tandemly linked copies of the human HRAS gene was inserted into the genome of C57BL/6J mouse,generating a mouse model designated as KI.C57-ras(or named NF-h HRAS).Whole-genome sequencing and Sanger sequencing were utilized to it confirm precise insertion and copy number.The stability of transgene expression among different generations was verified from multiple aspects using by digital PCR,western blot and DNA sequencing.To assess tumor susceptibility in the mouse model,N-Nitroso-N-methylurea(MNU)was administered at a dosage of 75 mg/kg.Histopathological examinations were conducted using hematoxylin and eosin(H&E)staining.Results:The HRAS DNA fragment was inserted into mouse chromosome 15E1 site,locating between 80623202 bp and 80625020 bp.NF-h HRAS mice exhibited stable inheritance and displayed consistent phenotypes across individuals.Moreover,this mouse model exhibited a high susceptibility to carcinogens.Upon administration of MNU the earliest mortality onset was earlier than that of wild-type littermates(day 65 vs.day 78 for male and day 56 vs.day 84 for female).Notably,100%of the NF-h HRAS transgenic mice developed tumors,with approximately 84%of male NF-h HRAS mice exhibiting specific tumor types,such as squamous cell carcinoma or squamous cell papilloma,which was consistent with the previously reported carcinogenic rasH2 mouse model.The types of tumors and the target organs exhibited diversity in NFh HRAS mice,while the spontaneous tumor incidence remained low(1/50).Conclusions:The NF-h HRAS mice demonstrated excellent genetic stability,a reproducible phenotype,and high susceptibility to carcinogens,indicating their potential utility in non-clinical safety evaluations of drugs as per the S1B guidelines issued by the ICH(The International Council for Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use). 展开更多

Traumatic brain injury(TBI) is a leading cause of death and disability in individuals worldwide.Producing a clinically relevant TBI model in small-sized animals remains fairly challenging.For good screening of potential therapeutics,which are effective in the treatment of TBI,animal models of TBI should be established and standardized.In this study,we established mouse models of closed head injury using the Shohami weight-drop method with some modifications concerning cognitive deficiency assessment and provided a detailed description of the severe TBI animal model.We found that 250 g falling weight from 2 cm height produced severe closed head injury in C57BL/6 male mice.Cognitive disorders in mice with severe closed head injury could be detected using passive avoidance test on day 7 after injury.Findings from this study indicate that weight-drop injury animal models are suitable for further screening of brain neuroprotectants and potentially are similar to those seen in human TBI. 展开更多

Impulsive Logistic Model was used to simulate the development process of the disease, which was compared with actual incidence. [ Result] Artificial inoculation tests showed that impulsive Logistic Model could reflect time dynamic of C. zeae-maydi. Through derivation, exponential growth phase was from maize seedling emergence to eady July in each year, logistic phase was from early July to late August, terminal phase was from eady September to the end of maize growth stage. [ Conclusion] The derivation result from model was consistent with the development biological laws of C. zeae-maydi. 展开更多

The corresponding heterodinuclear complex, as an active site model of Cytochrome c Oxidase, consisting of a porphyrinatocobalt compound covalently linked with a copper derivative of tris(2-benzimidazylmethyl) amine bearing three benzimidazole ligands for copper was synthesized and spectroscopically characterized. The spectra data suggest that there are interactions between the cobalt and copper coordination units. The cobalt is coordinated to four central nitrogens of the porphyrin and the copper has pentacoordinate geometry with the four tertiary amine nitrogens and a chloride. 展开更多

基于声场特征和C扫描图像的棒材缺陷定量评价

缺陷定量评价是无损检测领域研究的重点,超声波的扩散导致C扫描图像边缘模糊,影响缺陷定量精度.为了提高棒材缺陷定量的准确性,提出了基于声场特征和C扫描图像的棒材缺陷定量评价方法 .基于多元高斯声束模型,根据超声波在曲面界面的传... 缺陷定量评价是无损检测领域研究的重点,超声波的扩散导致C扫描图像边缘模糊,影响缺陷定量精度.为了提高棒材缺陷定量的准确性,提出了基于声场特征和C扫描图像的棒材缺陷定量评价方法 .基于多元高斯声束模型,根据超声波在曲面界面的传播规律,建立了水浸条件下棒材内部的声场模型,仿真得到棒料内部的声场分布,提取缺陷所在目标平面的声场特征值.以尼龙棒为研究对象,对含有不同深度、不同直径平底孔的尼龙棒试件进行超声C扫描成像,提取C扫描图像的特征值.建立数据集并训练随机森林回归模型,利用训练后的回归模型对测试集进行预测,得到的平底孔尺寸值比6 dB下降法的结果更接近于标准值,对于1.5 mm平底孔的定量误差为19.33%,下降了27.34个百分点.对含有自然缺陷的尼龙棒试件进行定量评价,结果表明该方法能够准确得到尼龙棒自然缺陷的尺寸信息. 展开更多

34CrNiMo6钢J-C损伤参数标定及螺纹根部超声滚压仿真研究

超声强化对34CrNiMo6钢外螺纹根部残余应力的影响

目的建立外螺纹根部超声滚压仿真模型,结合试验和仿真,研究超声滚压静压力、超声振幅和滚压遍数对34CrNiMo6钢外螺纹根部表层残余应力的影响。方法在MTS809.25型250 kN拉扭疲劳试验系统及分离式霍普金森压杆试验系统上,对34CrNiMo6钢的J... 目的建立外螺纹根部超声滚压仿真模型,结合试验和仿真,研究超声滚压静压力、超声振幅和滚压遍数对34CrNiMo6钢外螺纹根部表层残余应力的影响。方法在MTS809.25型250 kN拉扭疲劳试验系统及分离式霍普金森压杆试验系统上,对34CrNiMo6钢的Johnson-Cook(J-C)本构模型参数进行标定,通过Hypermesh、Matlab联合建立带螺纹升角的螺纹有限元模型,基于赫兹接触理论给出静态力压下深度,从而建立外螺纹根部超声滚压仿真模型,通过试验对该模型进行有效性验证,并研究不同工艺参数对强化后螺纹根部残余应力的影响。结果所建仿真模型残余应力计算结果与试验结果趋势相吻合,平均误差为11.4%。对外螺纹根部进行超声滚压仿真,发现最大残余压应力随着静压力、超声振幅的增大而增大,随着滚压遍数的增加呈先增大后减小的趋势。当其他参数相同时,残余压应力分别在静压力1 kN、振幅10μm、滚压4遍时达到最大值,分别为–719.54、–723.61、–691.03 MPa。结论通过超声滚压强化可以显著提高34CrNiMo6钢外螺纹根部的残余压应力,所建仿真模型能够有效预测强化后螺纹根部的应力分布。针对因根部圆角半径较小无法通过试验准确测量残余应力的螺纹,提供了一种仿真分析获取残余应力的方法。 展开更多

目的研究集中管理模式下排队论M/M/C模型输入数据选取精度对监护仪合理配置数量预测准确性的影响。方法选取本院11个病区作为研究对象,提取医嘱时长作为监护仪实际使用时长,按照11个病区合并计算(组别1)、内外科分别合并计算(组别2)、... 目的研究集中管理模式下排队论M/M/C模型输入数据选取精度对监护仪合理配置数量预测准确性的影响。方法选取本院11个病区作为研究对象,提取医嘱时长作为监护仪实际使用时长,按照11个病区合并计算(组别1)、内外科分别合并计算(组别2)、各病区独立计算(组别3)设立对比组别,建立排队论M/M/C预测模型,结合护理要求和排队系统等待时长曲线推测监护仪配置数量预测区间,分别对比3个组别的预测区间与实际配置数量差异值。结果组别1模型预测差值最大(最大差值为7.84台,最小差值为2.45台),组别2模型预测差值次之(最大差值为6.73台,最小差值为2.27台),组别3模型预测差值最小(仅有4个病区存在差异,差值为1或3台)。3组差值之间的差异有统计学意义(H=20.768,P<0.001),组别3模型预测差值与组别1和2的模型预测差值相比均有统计学意义(P<0.001),组别1和2模型预测差值相比差异无统计学意义(P=0.465)。结论输入数据选取精度因素对排队论M/M/C模型预测准确性具有一定影响,各医疗机构在利用排队论模型测算配置数量时,应尽量提高数据选取精度,按最小病区单元选取输入数据,并在预测结果的基础上结合临床实际情况浮动实际配置数量,提升配置数量合理性。 展开更多

研究了Mg-9Gd-4Y-2Zn-0.5Zr合金在不同应变率下的力学行为和断裂失效行为,开展了基于Johnson-Cook(J-C)本构模型和失效模型的参数标定及验证。利用万能试验机对该镁合金进行不同温度下的准静态拉伸试验,并且利用Hopkinson杆开展高应变率... 研究了Mg-9Gd-4Y-2Zn-0.5Zr合金在不同应变率下的力学行为和断裂失效行为,开展了基于Johnson-Cook(J-C)本构模型和失效模型的参数标定及验证。利用万能试验机对该镁合金进行不同温度下的准静态拉伸试验,并且利用Hopkinson杆开展高应变率(1000~3000 s^(-1))下的动态拉伸试验;根据试验数据对J-C本构模型中的应变率强化项和热软化项进行了修正,并标定相关模型参数。进一步开展数据仿真分析,并对比试验与仿真的断裂位置和真应力-应变曲线,验证失效模型参数的可靠性。使用SEM对镁合金断口微观形貌进行观察,探究温度、应变率对镁合金失效影响的微观行为特征,镁合金在准静态拉伸与动态拉伸过程中断口形貌中均发现了韧窝与解理台阶,为混合断裂机制,且高应变速率下解理台阶稍多,这与镁合金高应变速率下的应变敏感性有关;而在高温拉伸过程中表现为韧性断裂。 展开更多

Arid and semiarid ecosystems, or dryland, are important to global biogeochemical cycles. Dryland's community structure and vegetation dynamics as well as biogeochemical cycles are sensitive to changes in climate and atmospheric composition. Vegetation dynamic models has been applied in global change studies, but the com- plex interactions among the carbon (C), water, and nitrogen (N) cycles have not been adequately addressed in the current models. In this study, a process-based vegetation dynamic model was developed to study the responses of dryland ecosystems to environmental changes, emphasizing on the interactions among the C, water, and N proc- esses. To address the interactions between the C and water processes, it not only considers the effects of annual precipitation on vegetation distribution and soil moisture on organic matter (SOM) decomposition, but also explicitly models root competition for water and the water compensation processes. To address the interactions between C and N processes, it models the soil inorganic mater processes, such as N mineralization/immobilization, denitrifica- tion/nitrification, and N leaching, as well as the root competition for soil N. The model was parameterized for major plant functional types and evaluated against field observations. 展开更多

Kinetics of oxidation of MgO-C refractories was investigated by shrinking core modeling of the gas-solid reactions taking place during heating the porous materials to the high temperatures. Samples containing 4.5-17 wt pct graphite were isothermally oxidized at 1000-1350℃. Weight loss data was compared with predictions of the model. A mixed 2-stage mechanism comprised of pore diffusion plus boundary layer gas transfer was shown to generally control the oxidation rate. Pore diffusion was however more effective, especially at graphite contents lower than 10 wt pct under forced convection blowing of the air. Model calculations showed that effective gas diffusion coefficients were in the range of 0.08 to 0.55 cm^2/s. These values can be utilized to determine the corresponding tortuosity factors of 6.85 to 2.22. Activation energies related to the pore diffusion mechanism appeared to be around (46.44±2) kJ/mol. The estimated intermolecular diffusion coefficients were shown to be independent of the graphite content, when the percentage of the graphite exceeded a marginal value of 10. 展开更多
