The pressure equation is a nonlinear parabolic equation, the concentration is defined by a convection-diffusion equation and the saturations of different components are stated by nonlinear convection-diffusion equations. The transport pressure appears in the concentration equation and saturation equations in the form of Darcy velocity, and controls their processes. The flow equation is solved by the conservative mixed volume element and the accuracy is improved one order for approximating Darcy velocity. The method of characteristic mixed volume element is applied to solve the concentration, where the diffusion is discretized by a mixed volume element method and the convection is treated by the method of characteristics. The characteristics can confirm strong computational stability at sharp fronts and it can avoid numerical dispersion and nonphysical oscillation. The scheme can adopt a large step while its numerical results have small time-truncation error and high order of accuracy. The mixed volume element method has the law of conservation on every element for the diffusion and it can obtain numerical solutions of the concentration and adjoint vectors. It is most important in numerical simulation to ensure the physical conservative nature. The saturation different components are obtained by the method of characteristic fractional step difference. The computational work is shortened greatly by decomposing a three-dimensional problem into three successive one-dimensional problems and it is completed easily by using the algorithm of speedup. Using the theory and technique of a priori estimates of differential equations, we derive an optimal second order estimates in 12 norm. Numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness and practicability and the method is testified as a powerful tool to solve the important problems.展开更多

The electric potential is defined by an ellip- tic equation and it appears in the following three equations via the electric field intensity. The electron concentration and the hole concentration are determined by convection-dominated diffusion equations and the temperature is interpreted by a heat conduction equation. A mixed finite volume element approximation, keeping physical conservation law, is used to get numerical values of the electric potential and the accuracy is improved one order. Two con- centrations and the heat conduction are computed by a fractional step method combined with second-order upwind differences. This method can overcome numerical oscillation, dispersion and decreases computational complexity. Then a three-dimensional problem is solved by computing three successive one-dimensional problems where the method of speedup is used and the computational work is greatly shortened. An optimal second-order error estimate in L2 norm is derived by using prior estimate theory and other special techniques of partial differential equations. This type of mass-conservative parallel method is important and is most valuable in numerical analysis and application of semiconductor device.展开更多

Blanket is one of key components for energy conversion in Tokamak fusion reactor. The physical model employed for simulations is refined from dual-coolant lead-lithium (DCLL) blanket. A magnetic-convection code based on a consistent and conservative scheme is developed with the help of finite volume method, and validated by some Benchmark analytical solutions. The flows inside duct with thermal insulating and electric conducting walls under exponential neutron volumetric heat source are simulated. Based on Boussinesq assumption, the influences of wall electrical conductivity and buoyancy on velocity fields, temperature distributions and Nusselt numbers are investigated. Results illustrates that the wall conductance ratio dominates the flow at low Grashof numbers and high wall conductance ratio, while buoyancy effect dominates the jet flow near side wall at a high Grashof number. In addition, the velocity along flow direction substantially impacts features of the Nusselt number and temperature distribution. Besides, the jet flow results in a higher Nusselt number and lower temperature.展开更多

文摘The advantages of genome selection(GS) in animal and plant breeding are self-evident.Traditional parametric models have disadvantage in better fit the increasingly large sequencing data and capture complex effects accurately.Machine learning models have demonstrated remarkable potential in addressing these challenges. In this study,we introduced the concept of mixed kernel functions to explore the performance of support vector machine regression(SVR) in GS.Six single kernel functions(SVR_L,SVR_C,SVR_G,SVR_P,SVR_S,SVR_L) and four mixed kernel functions(SVR_GS,SVR_GP,SVR_LS,SVR_LP) were used to predict genome breeding values. The prediction accuracy, mean squared error(MSE) and mean absolute error(MAE) were used as evaluation indicators to compare with two traditional parametric models(GBLUP,BayesB) and two popular machine learning models(RF,KcRR).The results indicate that in most cases, the performance of the mixed kernel function model significantly outperforms that of GBLUP,BayesB and single kernel function. For instance, for T1 in the pig dataset, the predictive accuracy of SVR_GS is improved by 10% compared to GBLUP,and by approximately 4.4 and 18.6% compared to SVR_G and SVR_S respectively. For E1 in the wheat dataset,SVR_GS achieves 13.3% higher prediction accuracy than GBLUP.Among single kernel functions, the Laplacian and Gaussian kernel functions yield similar results, with the Gaussian kernel function performing better. The mixed kernel function notably reduces the MSE and MAE when compared to all single kernel functions.Furthermore, regarding runtime,SVR_GS and SVR_GP mixed kernel functions run approximately three times faster than GBLUP in the pig dataset, with only a slight increase in runtime compared to the single kernel function model. In summary, the mixed kernel function model of SVR demonstrates speed and accuracy competitiveness, and the model such as SVR_GS has important application potential for GS.

This type of mass-conservative parallel method is important and is most valuable in numerical analysis and application of semiconductor device.

文摘The mixed covolume method for the regularized long wave equation is devel- oped and studied. By introducing a transfer operator γh, which maps the trial function space into the test function space, and combining the mixed finite element with the finite volume method, the nonlinear and linear Euler fully discrete mixed covolume schemes are constructed, and the existence and uniqueness of the solutions are proved. The optimal error estimates for these schemes are obtained. Finally, a numerical example is provided to examine the efficiency of the proposed schemes.

文摘Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) mixed convection under strong magnetic field and volumetric heat source for buoyancy-assisted flows are studied numerically in this paper. Besides, the jet flow results in a higher Nusselt number and lower temperature.
文摘In this paper, based on the notion of mixed complex projection and generalized the recent works of other authors, we obtain some volume difference inequalities containing Brunn-Minkowski type inequality, Minkowski type inequality and Aleksandrov-Fenchel inequality for the polars of mixed complex projection bodies.
文摘Considering characteristics of Chinese urban mixed traffic, the author develops a combinatorial model involving the mixed deterministic traffic volume distribution and user's equilibrium (UE) assignment on the basis of symmetrical link travel time function (or deterrence). Its uniqueness and equivalance to the Wardropian principle of UE are also proved. Finally,we give the algorithm of model.
文摘Constant-volume heat capacities of supercritical (SC) CO2, SC CO2-n-pentane, and SC CO2-n-heptane mixtures were determined at 308.15 K in the pressure range from 6 to 12 MPa. It was found that there is a maximum in each heat capacity vs pressure curve. Intermolecular interaction in the fluids was studied.

文摘A time semi-discrete Crank-Nicolson (CN) formulation with second-order time accuracy for the non-stationary parabolized Navier-Stokes equations is firstly established. And then, a fully discrete stabilized CN mixed finite volume element (SCNMFVE) formu- lation based on two local Gaussian integrals and parameter-free with the second-order time accuracy is established directly from the time semi-discrete CN formulation so that it could avoid the discussion for semi-discrete SCNMFVE formulation with respect to spatial wriables and its theoretical analysis becomes very simple. Finally, the error estimates of SCNMFVE solutions are provided.
文摘BACKGROUND A total of 100 patients diagnosed with mixed hemorrhoids from October 2022 to September 2023 in our hospital were randomly divided into groups by dice rolling and compared with the efficacy of different treatment options.AIM To analyze the clinical effect and prognosis of mixed hemorrhoids treated with polidocanol injection combined with automatic elastic thread ligation operation(RPH).METHODS A total of 100 patients with mixed hemorrhoids who visited our hospital from October 2022 to September 2023 were selected and randomly divided into the control group(n=50)and the treatment group(n=50)by rolling the dice. The procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH)was adopted in the control group, while polidocanol foam injection+RPH was adopted in the treatment group. The therapeutic effects, operation time, wound healing time, hospital stay, pain situation(24 hours post-operative pain score, first defecation pain score),quality of life(QOL),incidence of complications(post-operative hemorrhage, edema, infection),incidence of anal stenosis 3 months post-operatively and recurrence rate 1 year post-operatively of the two groups were compared.RESULTS Compared with the control group, the total effective rate of treatment group was higher, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The operation time/wound healing time/hospital stay in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The pain scores at 24 hours after operation/first defecation pain score of the treatment group was significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After surgery, the QOL scores of the two groups decreased, with the treatment group having higher scores than that of the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the incidence of postoperative complications in the treatment group was lower, and the difference was significant(P<0.05);However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative bleeding between the two groups(P>0.05);There was no significant difference in the incidence of anal stenosis 3 months after operation and the recurrence rate 1 year after operation between the two groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION For patients with mixed hemorrhoids, the therapeutic effect achieved by using polidocanol injection combined with RPH was better. The wounds of the patients healed faster, the postoperative pain was milder,QOL improved, and the incidence of complications was lower, and the short-term and long-term prognosis was good.
文摘Brazil’s deforestation monitoring integrates accuracy and current monitoring for land use and land cover applications.Regular monitoring of deforestation and non-deforestation requires Sentinel-2 multispectral satellite images of several bands at various frequencies, the mix of high-and low-resolution images that make object classification difficult because of the mixed pixel problem.Accuracy is impacted by the mixed pixel problem, which occurs when pixels belong to different classes and makes detection challenging. To identify mixed pixels,Band Math is used to merge numerous bands to generate a new band NDVI.Thresholding is used to analyze the edges of deforested and non-deforested areas.Segmentation is then used to analyze the pixels which helps to identify the number of mixed pixels to compute the deforested and non-deforested areas.Segmented image pixels are used to categorize the deforestation of the Brazilian Amazon Forest between 2019 and 2023.Verify how many pixels are mixed to improve accuracy and identify mixed pixel issues;compare the mixed and pure pixels of fuzzy clustering with the subtracted morphological image pixels. With the help of segmentation and clustering researchers effectively validate mixed pixels in a specific area. The proposed methodology is easy to analyze and helpful for an appropriate calculation of deforested and non-deforested areas.
