The testing of large structures is limited by high costs and long cycles, making scaling methods an attractive solution. However, the scaling process of elastic rings introduces complexities in multi-parameter geometric distortions, leading to a diminution in the predictive accuracy of the distorted similitude. To address this challenge, this study formulates a novel set of scaling laws, tailored to account for the intricate geometric distortions associated with elastic rings. The proposed scaling laws are formulated based on the intrinsic deformation characteristics of elastic rings, rather than the traditional systemic governing equations. Numerical and experimental cases are conducted to assess the efficacy and precision of the proposed scaling laws, and the obtained results are compared with those achieved by traditional methods. The outcomes demonstrate that the scaling laws put forth by this study significantly enhance the predictive capabilities for deformations of elastic rings. 展开更多

By using fatigue crack propagation testing and microstructural characterization,the crack fracture and propagation mechanisms of K4169 superalloy under various loads were investigated.The results demonstrate that the grain sizes of K4169 superalloy significantly increase,and the precipitation of the needle-likeδphase and the Laves phase is observed.Voids and microcracks form at location of Laves phase enrichment,creating conditions for crack propagation.By the a−N(a is the crack length,and N is the number of cycles)relationship curve,the change in the fatigue crack growth rate with the increasing number of cycles progresses through three separate stages.The fracture process of K4169 superalloy under low-stress cyclic loading(3 kN)exhibits the ductile fracture.Subsequently,the fracture process starts to change from the ductile fracture to the brittle fracture as the stress increases to 4.5 kN.In the microstructures of fractures in both stress states,intergranular propagation is the mechanism responsible for crack propagation.Moreover,the Laves phase exists near the fracture crack,which is in line with the post-service structural phenomenon. 展开更多

背景:临床上,由于手舟骨的特殊解剖特点和内部骨小梁分布特征等往往使得骨折的治疗效果普遍不佳,常导致骨折不愈合和缺血性坏死,进而引发腕关节炎和功能丧失。目的:利用Micro CT技术对手舟骨标本进行扫描,分析其内部显微结构特征,测量... 背景:临床上,由于手舟骨的特殊解剖特点和内部骨小梁分布特征等往往使得骨折的治疗效果普遍不佳,常导致骨折不愈合和缺血性坏死,进而引发腕关节炎和功能丧失。目的:利用Micro CT技术对手舟骨标本进行扫描,分析其内部显微结构特征,测量各区域骨小梁显微结构参数值,以发现手舟骨骨小梁的区域差异,旨在为手舟骨骨折的预防、治疗及骨折机制研究提供科学依据。方法:选取5具成人尸体标本的双侧手舟骨(10例)进行Micro CT扫描,通过对手舟骨3个感兴趣区域(结节部、腰部、体部)内骨小梁的勾选与重建,详细观察手舟骨内部的显微形态特征,测量和比较各区域骨小梁显微结构参数值的差异。结果与结论:①Micro CT图像显示手舟骨表面皮质骨相对较薄,内部充满复杂的骨小梁微观结构;靠近皮质骨的板层状骨小梁相对密集,向内部延伸成杆状骨小梁;从矢状面、冠状面和横断面上观察,腰部内骨小梁分布较为稀疏,而体部和结节部内骨小梁分布则更为致密;②手舟骨结节部的骨体积分数、骨表面积、骨表面积组织体积比、骨小梁分离度、骨小梁数目、骨小梁连通性、骨小梁连接密度、分形维数、骨矿物质密度和骨矿物质含量在左右侧别间比较差异均有显著性意义(P<0.05);腰部和体部的各骨小梁显微结构参数值在左右侧别间比较差异均无显著性意义(P>0.05);③手舟骨的骨体积、骨体积分数、骨表面积、骨表面积组织体积比、骨表面积骨体积比、骨矿物质密度和骨矿物质含量在体部与结节部、腰部之间比较差异有显著性意义(P<0.05);手舟骨的骨小梁厚度在体部与结节部之间比较差异有显著性意义(P<0.05);手舟骨的骨小梁分离度、分形维数在体部与结节部、腰部,结节部与腰部之间差异有显著性意义(P<0.05);手舟骨的骨小梁数目、骨小梁连通性、骨小梁连接密度在腰部与结节部、体部之间比较差异有显著性意义(P<0.05);手舟骨的组织体积、各向异性程度在体部、结节部、腰部之间比较差异均无显著性意义(P>0.05);④结果显示,手舟骨的骨小梁显微结构参数值存在区域性差异,其中腰部的骨密度和强度较低,是最容易发生骨折的部位,该发现从骨小梁微观结构角度为理解手舟骨骨折机制提供了理论依据;同时,此次研究揭示的手舟骨不同部位的骨小梁结构特征也为设计针对性的内固定器械提供了理论依据。 展开更多

FFD-Clustering:An unsupervised anomaly detection method for aero-engines based on fuzzy fusion of variables and discriminative mapping of features

The original monitoring data from aero-engines possess characteristics such as high dimen-sionality,strong noise,and imbalance,which present substantial challenges to traditional anomalydetection methods.In response,this paper proposes a method based on Fuzzy Fusion of variablesand Discriminant mapping of features for Clustering(FFD-Clustering)to detect anomalies in originalmonitoring data from Aircraft Communication Addressing and Reporting System(ACARS).Firstly,associated variables are fuzzily grouped to extract the underlying distribution characteristics and trendsfrom the data.Secondly,a multi-layer contrastive denoising-based feature Fusion Encoding Network(FEN)is designed for each variable group,which can construct representative features for each variablegroup through eliminating strong noise and complex interrelations between variables.Thirdly,a featureDiscriminative Mapping Network(DMN)based on reconstruction difference re-clustering is designed,which can distinguish dissimilar feature vectors when mapping representative features to a unified fea-ture space.Finally,the K-means clustering is used to detect the abnormal feature vectors in the unifiedfeature space.Additionally,the algorithm is capable of reconstructing identified abnormal vectors,thereby locating the abnormal variable groups.The performance of this algorithm was tested ontwo public datasets and real original monitoring data from four aero-engines'ACARS,demonstratingits superiority and application potential in aero-engine anomaly detection. 展开更多

Precise and quantitative measurement of soot particle emission plays an essential role in accurately assessing the combustion performance of aero-engine combustors and infrared signature levels in aircraft exhausts.Among various intrusive or non-intrusive approaches for soot diagnostics,Laser-Induced Incandescence(LⅡ)technique has been increasingly applied for soot concentration measurement in various combustion environments such as laminar flames and internal combustion engines due to its high spatial resolution and sensitivity.As for LⅡmeasurement in aero-engine combustors,however,it normally suffers from very limited optical accesses and often faces mandatory requirements of oblique imaging from a small backward angle.In this work,we demonstrate a Two-Color(2C)LⅡsystem that simultaneously captures LⅡsignal images at two distinct wavelengths using a Scheimpflug imaging configuration.A projective transformation algorithm and image overlapping procedures were employed to spatially correct the raw Scheimpflug LⅡimages.Performance validation of the developed 2C-Scheimpflug LⅡsystem was first conducted under specified conditions in a laminar C_(2)H_(4)/air McKenna flame.The obtained Soot Volume Fraction(SVF)level and its spatial distribution are in consistent with previous studies under identical flame conditions reported by other research groups.Finally,as a demonstration of engineering benchmark application,we applied the developed 2C-Scheimpflug LⅡsystem to measure SVF distribution in the cross-section plane perpendicular to the direction of flame propagation at the exhaust of a single-sector dual-swirl aero-engine model combustor.Transient soot production events were observed and characteristics of the SVF distribution were investigated.These experimental results suggest the feasibility of the 2C-Scheimpflug LⅡtechnique developed in this work for precise and quantitative measurements of soot concentration in practical environments. 展开更多

This paper analyzes the nonlinear dynamic characteristics and stability of Aero-Engine Dual-Rotor(AEDR)systems under high-frequency excitation,based on the Adaptive Harmonic Balance with the Asymptotic Harmonic Selection(AHB-AHS)method.A finite element dynamic equation for the AEDR system is introduced,considering complex nonlinearities of the intershaft bearing,unbalanced excitations,and high-frequency excitation.A solving strategy combining the AHB-AHS method and improved arclength continuation method is proposed to solve highdimensional dynamic equations containing complex nonlinearities and to track periodic solutions with parameter variations.The Floquet theory is used to analyze the types of bifurcation points in the system and the stability of periodic motions.The results indicate that high-frequency excitation can couple high-order and low-order modes,especially when the system undergoes superharmonic resonance.High-frequency excitation leads to more combination frequency harmonics,among which N_(f)ω_(1)-2ω_(2)dominates.Furthermore,changing the parameters(amplitude and frequency)of high-frequency excitation widens or shifts the unstable regions of the system.These findings contribute to understanding the mechanism of high-frequency excitation on aero-engines and demonstrate that the proposed AHB-AHS method is a powerful tool for analyzing highdimensional complex nonlinear dynamic systems under multi-frequency excitation. 展开更多

Quantitative measurement of Soot Volume Fraction (SVF) is an essential prerequisite for controlling soot particle emissions from aero-engine combustors. As an in-situ and non-intrusive optical diagnostic technique, Laser-Induced Incandescence (LII) has been increasingly applied for soot concentration quantification in various combustion environments such as laminar flame, vehicle exhaust, internal combustion chamber as well as aero-engine combustor. In this work, we experimentally measured the spatial and temporal distribution of SVF using two-color LII technique at the outlet of a single-sector dual-swirl aero-engine model combustor. The effect of inlet pressure and air preheat temperature on the SVF distribution was separately investigated within a pressure range of 241–425 kPa and a temperature range of 292–500 K. The results show that soot production increases with the inlet pressure but generally decreases with the air preheat temperature. Qualitative analysis was provided to explain the above results of parametric studies. The LII experiments were also conducted under 3 designed conditions to evaluate soot emission under practical operations. Particularly, weak soot emission was detected at the outlet under the idle condition. Our experimental results provide a valuable benchmark for evaluating soot emission in the exhaust plume of this aero-engine combustor during practical operations. 展开更多

The spatiotemporal distribution of soot concentration in aero-engine combustor is important for assessing its combustion performance.Here,we report experimental measurements of soot concentration in terms of Soot Volume Fraction(SVF)and its spatiotemporal distribution in a single-sector dual-swirl aero-engine combustor using Two-Color Laser-Induced Incandescence(2C-LII).It is shown that soot predominantly forms in the symmetrical vortices of the primary combustion zone,exhibiting a V-type distribution with higher concentration in the lower half of the zone than the upper half,with a small amount distributed in the secondary recirculation zone.Soot emissions at the combustor outlet are relatively low under three typical operating conditions by LII experiments,which is aligned with Smoke Number(SN)from gas analysis.The effect of inlet air temperature on SVF distribution and dynamics in the primary combustion zone is studied,which suggests that the SVF level in the primary combustion zone monotonically increases with the temperature.Meanwhile,the SVF distribution becomes more symmetrical as the inlet temperature increases,although the overall SVF level in the lower half of the zone is still higher.We also investigate the influence of the inlet air pressure on the SVF distribution at the combustor outlet.The soot concentration at the combustor outlet increases with inlet pressure,mainly distributed irregularly across both sides and the center.On both sides,the distribution is continuous,while the center exhibits dot-like and linear patterns.Numerical simulations correlated SVF distribution with the flow field in the primary combustion zone,qualitatively explaining the observed SVF distribution behavior.These results under various conditions can provide valuable insights for improving the performance of this specific combustor and designing high-temperature-rise combustors in the future. 展开更多

Micro/nanoplastics(M/NPs)have become pervasive environmental pollutants,posing significant risks to human health through various exposure routes,including ingestion,inhalation,and direct contact.This review systematically examined the potential impacts of M/NPs on ocular health,focusing on exposure pathways,toxicological mechanisms,and resultant damage to the eye.Ocular exposure to M/NPs can occur via direct contact and oral ingestion,with the latter potentially leading to the penetration of particles through ocular biological barriers into ocular tissues.The review highlighted that M/NPs can induce adverse effects on the ocular surface,elevate intraocular pressure,and cause abnormalities in the vitreous and retina.Mechanistically,oxidative stress and inflammation are central to M/NP-induced ocular damage,with smaller particles often exhibiting greater toxicity.Overall,this review underscored the potential risks of M/NPs to ocular health and emphasized the need for further research to elucidate exposure mechanisms,toxicological pathways,and mitigation strategies. 展开更多

Joule heating activation-assisted full-depth doping enabling fast-kinetic and stable micro silicon anodes in solid-state batteries

Micro silicon(mSi)is a promising anode candidate for all-solid-state batteries due to its high specific capacity,low side reactions,and high tap density.However,silicon suffers from its poor electronic and ionic conductivity,which is particularly severe on a micro scale and in solid-state systems,leading to increased polarization and inferior electrochemical performance.Doping can broaden the transmission pathways and reduce the diffusion energy barrier for electrons and lithium ions.However,achieving effective,uniform doping in mSi is challenging due to its longer diffusion paths and higher energy barriers.Therefore,current doping research is primarily limited to nanosilicon.In this study,we successfully used a Joule-heating activated staged thermal treatment to achieve full-depth doping of germanium(Ge)in the mSi substrate.The Joule-heating process activated the mSi substrate,resulting in abundant vacancy defects that reduced the diffusion barrier of Ge into the silicon lattice and facilitated full-depth Ge doping.Surprisingly,the resulting Si-Ge anode exhibited significantly enhanced electrical conductivity(70 times).Meanwhile,the improved Li-ion conductivity in mSi and the reduced Young’s modulus enhance the electrode reaction kinetics and integrity after cycling.Ge-doped silicon anodes demonstrate excellent electrochemical performance when applied in sulfide solid-state half-cells and full-cells.This work provides substantial insights into the rational structural design of mSi alloyed anode materials,paving the way for the development of high-performance solid-state Li-ion batteries. 展开更多

Extreme cold weather seriously harms human thermoregulatory system,necessitating high-performance insulating garments to maintain body temperature.However,as the core insulating layer,advanced fibrous materials always struggle to balance mechanical properties and thermal insulation,resulting in their inability to meet the demands for both washing resistance and personal protection.Herein,inspired by the natural spring-like structures of cucumber tendrils,a superelastic and washable micro/nanofibrous sponge(MNFS)based on biomimetic helical fibers is directly prepared utilizing multiple-jet electrospinning technology for high-performance thermal insulation.By regulating the conductivity of polyvinylidene fluoride solution,multiple-jet ejection and multiple-stage whipping of jets are achieved,and further control of phase separation rates enables the rapid solidification of jets to form spring-like helical fibers,which are directly entangled to assemble MNFS.The resulting MNFS exhibits superelasticity that can withstand large tensile strain(200%),1000 cyclic tensile or compression deformations,and retain good resilience even in liquid nitrogen(-196℃).Furthermore,the MNFS shows efficient thermal insulation with low thermal conductivity(24.85 mW m^(-1)K^(-1)),close to the value of dry air,and remains structural stability even after cyclic washing.This work offers new possibilities for advanced fibrous sponges in transportation,environmental,and energy applications. 展开更多

Strategically coupling nanoparticle hybrids and internal thermosensitive molecular switches establishes an innovative paradigm for constructing micro/nanoscale-reconfigurable robots,facilitating energyefficient CO_(2) management in life-support systems of confined space.Here,a micro/nano-reconfigurable robot is constructed from the CO_(2) molecular hunters,temperature-sensitive molecular switch,solar photothermal conversion,and magnetically-driven function engines.The molecular hunters within the molecular extension state can capture 6.19 mmol g^(−1) of CO_(2) to form carbamic acid and ammonium bicarbonate.Interestingly,the molecular switch of the robot activates a molecular curling state that facilitates CO_(2) release through nano-reconfiguration,which is mediated by the temperature-sensitive curling of Pluronic F127 molecular chains during the photothermal desorption.Nano-reconfiguration of robot alters the amino microenvironment,including increasing surface electrostatic potential of the amino group and decreasing overall lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy level.This weakened the nucleophilic attack ability of the amino group toward the adsorption product derivatives,thereby inhibiting the side reactions that generate hard-to-decompose urea structures,achieving the lowest regeneration temperature of 55℃ reported to date.The engine of the robot possesses non-contact magnetically-driven micro-reconfiguration capability to achieve efficient photothermal regeneration while avoiding local overheating.Notably,the robot successfully prolonged the survival time of mice in the sealed container by up to 54.61%,effectively addressing the issue of carbon suffocation in confined spaces.This work significantly enhances life-support systems for deep-space exploration,while stimulating innovations in sustainable carbon management technologies for terrestrial extreme environments. 展开更多

Mine filling materials urgently need to improve mechanical properties and achieve low-carbon transformation.This study explores the mechanism of the synergistic effect of optimizing aggregate fractal grading and introducing CO_(2)nanobubble technology to improve the performance of cement-fly ash-based backfill materials(CFB).The properties including fluidity,setting time,uniaxial compressive strength,elastic modulus,porosity,microstructure and CO_(2)storage performance were systematically studied through methods such as fluidity evaluation,time test,uniaxial compression test,mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP),scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy analysis(SEM-EDS),and thermogravimetric-differential thermogravimetric analysis(TG-DTG).The experimental results show that the density and strength of the material are significantly improved under the synergistic effect of fractal dimension and CO_(2)nanobubbles.When the fractal dimension reaches 2.65,the mass ratio of coarse and fine aggregates reaches the optimal balance,and the structural density is greatly improved at the same time.At this time,the uniaxial compressive strength and elastic modulus reach their peak values,with increases of up to 13.46%and 27.47%,respectively.CO_(2)nanobubbles enhance the material properties by promoting hydration reaction and carbonization.At the microscopic level,CO_(2)nanobubble water promotes the formation of C-S-H(hydrated calcium silicate),C-A-S-H(hydrated calcium aluminium silicate)gel and CaCO_(3),which is the main way to enhance the performance.Thermogravimetric studies have shown that when the fractal dimension is 2.65,the dehydration of hydration products and the decarbonization process of CaCO_(3)are most obvious,and CO_(2)nanobubble water promotes the carbonization reaction,making it surpass the natural state.The CO_(2)sequestration quality of cement-fly ash-based materials treated with CO_(2)nanobubble water at different fractal dimensions increased by 12.4wt%to 99.8wt%.The results not only provide scientific insights for the design and implementation of low-carbon filling materials,but also provide a solid theoretical basis for strengthening green mining practices and promoting sustainable resource utilization. 展开更多

Modern power systems increasingly depend on interconnected microgrids to enhance reliability and renewable energy utilization.However,the high penetration of intermittent renewable sources often causes frequency deviations,voltage fluctuations,and poor reactive power coordination,posing serious challenges to grid stability.Conventional Interconnection FlowControllers(IFCs)primarily regulate active power flowand fail to effectively handle dynamic frequency variations or reactive power sharing in multi-microgrid networks.To overcome these limitations,this study proposes an enhanced Interconnection Flow Controller(e-IFC)that integrates frequency response balancing and an Interconnection Reactive Power Flow Controller(IRFC)within a unified adaptive control structure.The proposed e-IFC is implemented and analyzed in DIgSILENT PowerFactory to evaluate its performance under various grid disturbances,including frequency drops,load changes,and reactive power fluctuations.Simulation results reveal that the e-IFC achieves 27.4% higher active power sharing accuracy,19.6% lower reactive power deviation,and 18.2% improved frequency stability compared to the conventional IFC.The adaptive controller ensures seamless transitions between grid-connected and islanded modes and maintains stable operation even under communication delays and data noise.Overall,the proposed e-IFCsignificantly enhances active-reactive power coordination and dynamic stability in renewable-integrated multi-microgrid systems.Future research will focus on coupling the e-IFC with tertiary-level optimization frameworks and conducting hardware-in-the-loop validation to enable its application in large-scale smart microgrid environments. 展开更多

The inaccurate measurement for the maintenance level of an aero-engine can induce higher overhaul maintenance costs. Variable precision rough set (VPRS) theory is used to determine the maintenance level of an aero-engine. According to the relationship between condition information and performance parameters of aero-engine modules, decision rules are established for reflecting the real condition of an aeroengine when its maintenance level needs to be determined. An appli- cation is proposed for IFPOC by combining the onboard hybrid aero-engine model with sequential quadratic pro- gramming (SQP). Firstly, a steady-state hybrid aero-engine model is designed in the whole flight envelope with a dramatic enhancement of real-time capability. Secondly, the aero-engine performance seeking control including the maximum thrust mode and the minimum fuel-consumption mode is performed by SQP. Finally, digital simu- lations for cruise and accelerating flight are carried out. Results show that the proposed method improves real- time capability considerably with satisfactory effectiveness of optimization. 展开更多

目的:分析超声引导下甲状腺结节细针穿刺活检联合微小核糖核酸-221(microRNA-221)检测对甲状腺肿瘤的检出效能及对肿瘤良恶性分级的价值。方法:选取甲状腺肿瘤患者120例,分为良性组和恶性组,手术前均行超声引导下甲状腺结节细针穿刺活检... 目的:分析超声引导下甲状腺结节细针穿刺活检联合微小核糖核酸-221(microRNA-221)检测对甲状腺肿瘤的检出效能及对肿瘤良恶性分级的价值。方法:选取甲状腺肿瘤患者120例,分为良性组和恶性组,手术前均行超声引导下甲状腺结节细针穿刺活检,并检测microRNA-221表达。比较两组超声引导下细针穿刺活检结果、microRNA-221表达;比较不同超声表现及超声引导下细针穿刺活检分级患者microRNA-221表达;分析各指标单独及联合鉴别甲状腺肿瘤良恶性分级的效能。结果:有42例甲状腺恶性肿瘤、78例甲状腺良性肿瘤;两组超声引导下细针穿刺活检分级比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),恶性组Ⅱ级占比低于良性组(P<0.05),Ⅳ级、Ⅴ级、Ⅵ级占比均高于良性组(P<0.05),形态不规则、边界模糊、不均匀低回声、微小钙化患者血清、组织microRNA-221表达均更高(P<0.05),且恶性组血清、组织microRNA-221表达均高于良性组(P<0.05);超声引导下细针穿刺活检分级越高,血清、组织microRNA-221表达也越高;超声引导下细针穿刺活检、血清及组织microRNA-221表达结合诊断甲状腺肿瘤良恶性分级的灵敏度、准确率和AUC均高于单独诊断,特异度与单独诊断基本一致。结论:超声引导下甲状腺结节细针穿刺活检联合血清、组织microRNA-221检测可提高对甲状腺肿瘤良恶性分级的诊断灵敏度、准确率,且效能优于单一诊断。 展开更多
