In the present work,p-type skutterudites La_(0.8)Ti_(0.1)Ga_(0.1)Fe_(3)CoSb_(12) composite with n-type Fe_(3)Si nanoprecipitate was fabricated via an in situ method.Both thermoelectric and mechanical properties of La_...In the present work,p-type skutterudites La_(0.8)Ti_(0.1)Ga_(0.1)Fe_(3)CoSb_(12) composite with n-type Fe_(3)Si nanoprecipitate was fabricated via an in situ method.Both thermoelectric and mechanical properties of La_(0.8)Ti_(0.1)Ga_(0.1)Fe_(3)CoSb_(12)/xFe_(3)Si composites were thoroughly investigated.With the introduction of homogeneously dispersed nanosized Fe_(3)Si in the matrix,the power factor is almost unchanged due to the counteraction between the decreased electrical conductivity and the significantly enhanced Seebeck coefficient.Simultaneously,the total thermal conductivity was decreased for samples with Fe_(3)Si nanoprecipitate because of the reduced electronic thermal conductivity.As a result,a ZT value of about 1.2 at 700 K has been achieved for La_(0.8)Ti_(0.1)Ga_(0.1)Fe_(3)CoSb_(12)/0.1Fe_(3)Si sample,whose ZT value was slightly enhanced in comparison with the Fe_(3)Si-freeLa_(0.8)Ti_(0.1)Ga_(0.1)Fe_(3)CoSb_(12) sample.Furthermore,the indentation fracture toughness of La_(0.8)Ti_(0.1)Ga_(0.1)Fe_(3)CoSb_(12)/0.1Fe_(3)Si was improved by nearly 30%compared to the Fe_(3)Si-free skutterudites.展开更多
Objective To study efficacy and safety of Yiqi Daozhi Formula in the recoveryyof gastrointestinal function after gastric cancer surgery.Methods A total of 67 patients undergoing laparoscopic radical gastrectomy betwee...Objective To study efficacy and safety of Yiqi Daozhi Formula in the recoveryyof gastrointestinal function after gastric cancer surgery.Methods A total of 67 patients undergoing laparoscopic radical gastrectomy between April 2023 and April 2024 were selected and randomly assigned to a treatment group(33 cases)and a control group(34 cases)using a random number method.Both groups received perioperative management based on the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery(ERAS)protocol,with data collected using artificial intelligencepowered wearable electrocardiogram(ECG)recorders and continuous bowel sound auscultation recorders.The treatment group received 100 mL of concentrated Yiqi Daozhi Formula orally from the 1st to 3rd postoperative day,whereas the the control group reveived equal volume of plain water daily over the same period.Key indicators of gastrointestinal recovery encompassed the time to first flatus,bowel sound recovery,semi-liquid diet tolerance,pain scores on the 3rd postoperative day,and length of hospital stay,which were compared between the groups.Additionally,postoperative heart rate variability(HRV)indices,including standard diviation of NN intervals(SDNN),standard deviation of the average NN intervals(SDANN),percentage of difference between adjacent normal R-R intervals exceeding 50 milliseconds(pNN50),low frequency(LF),and high frequency(HF)were evaluated.Inflammatory biomarkers such as high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),white blood cell(WBC),interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-2,IL-6,tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interferon-(IFN-)were assessed,alongside the incidence of postoperative complications.Results Compared to the control group,the treatment group exhibited reduced bowel sound recovery time and earlier onset of first flatus(P=0.001).On the 1st postoperative day,the treatment group exhibited decreased levels of hs-CRP,WBC,IL-1β,and IL-2(P<0.001,P<0.05).By the 3rd postoperative day,the treatment group continued to show lower levels of hs-CRP,IL-1β,and IL-2(P<0.001,P<0.05).Furthermore,the treatment group showed higher indices,specifically SDNN,SDANN,pNN50,and LF,on the third postoperative day(P<0.01,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Yiqi Daozhi Formula post-gastrectomy in patients with gastric cancer surgery is safe,which reduces postoperative inflammatory responses,improves autonomic nervous function,and facilitates early gastrointestinal function recovery.展开更多
