In clinical application, the authors advocate: ① avoid using drugs that are over-irritating in the property, and strictly controlling the dose of drugs and the duration of application, ② in selection of drugs, some factors as patients’ conditions, the season, the geographic location, etc. should be taken into account. In the present paper, 3 typical cases of bronchial asthma, tonsil swelling and facial paralysis treated with medicinal vesiculation therapy are introduced. Clinical practice demonstrates that this therapy is economical, simple and convenient and fairly effective in treatment of some chronic diseases.展开更多
Objective:To evaluate the nursing value of mechanical expectoration drainage combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application in children with pediatric bronchial pneumonia.Methods:A total of 62 childre...Objective:To evaluate the nursing value of mechanical expectoration drainage combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application in children with pediatric bronchial pneumonia.Methods:A total of 62 children with pediatric bronchial pneumonia treated from May 2024 to May 2025 were selected as samples and randomly divided into groups using a random number table.Group A received mechanical expectoration drainage combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application nursing,while Group B received conventional nursing.Lung function,symptom disappearance time,nursing satisfaction,and inflammatory indicators were compared between the two groups.Results:The maximum vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV),peak expiratory flow(PEF),and maximal mid-expiratory flow(MMEF)in Group A were all higher than those in Group B,with p<0.05;the symptom disappearance time in Group A was shorter than that in Group B,and nursing satisfaction was higher in Group A than in Group B,with p<0.05;the procalcitonin(PCT),white blood cell count(WBC),and serum amyloid A(SAA)levels in Group A were lower than those in Group B,with p<0.05.Conclusion:The application of mechanical expectoration drainage combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application nursing in the care of children with pediatric bronchial pneumonia reduces inflammation levels,shortens symptom disappearance time,and improves lung function.展开更多

In order to understand the fundamental questions of the biology of life and to duplicate the pathogenesis of human diseases, animal models using different experimental animals, such as rodents, Drosophila, Caenorhabdi...In order to understand the fundamental questions of the biology of life and to duplicate the pathogenesis of human diseases, animal models using different experimental animals, such as rodents, Drosophila, Caenorhabditis elegans, and zebrafish, have been established and used widely for many decades. The controllability of environmental conditions, the high reproducibility, the ease of scale and the comparability of results, as well as the ability to use different standards for ethical protocols, all make an animal model the ideal tool for carrying out studies on human diseases and the development of novel pharmaceuticals and new therapies （Xue et al., 2014）. An ideal animal model should reflect the complete spectra of a specific human disease, with similar features on the following key issues： （1） genetic basis; （2） anatomy and physiology; （3） pathological response（s） and underlying mechanism（s）; （4） phenotypic endpoints as clinical studies; （5） responsiveness to known drugs with clinical efficacy; and （6） prediction of clinical efficacy （McGonigle and Ruggeri, 2014）.展开更多

Methods: Ninety patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystecto...Objective: To explore the optimal timing of drug application for the recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods: Ninety patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy were randomly divided into three groups: control group, intervention group 1 and intervention group 2. All three groups received routine perioperative nursing. Intervention group 1 and group 2 were given acupoint application of Chinese medicine at 0.5 h and 6 h after operation, and the waveform was monitored by electrogastrogram on the 1st day before operation and 3 d after operation. The first anal exhaust time, defecation time, abdominal distension and electrogastrogram changes were analyzed and compared in the three groups. Results: Compared with the first exhaust time and defecation time after operation, the intervention group 1 was earlier than the intervention group 2, and the intervention group 2 was earlier than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The average frequency, waveform response area and average amplitude of the intervention group 1 were better than those of the intervention group 2, and the intervention group 2 was better than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Administration of Chinese medicine acupoint application within 0.5 hours after operation can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function and improve gastric motility in patients undergoing abdominal surgery, and the curative effect is significant and safe.展开更多

Methods: the subjects of this research experiment were 120 patients with peripheral facial paralysis who received outpatient treatment in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2021. According to the order of admission, the patients were divided into two groups and then marked separately, and the clinical effects of different treatment methods were compared. Results: the treatment efficiency of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the treatment duration was shorter than that of the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: for patients with peripheral facial paralysis, in the process of receiving clinical treatment, the combination of external application of traditional Chinese medicine acupoints and acupuncture has higher clinical effect, which can effectively shorten the treatment time of patients and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.展开更多

After the onset of children, in addition to the increase of stool frequency and abnormal stool characteristics, they are often combined with vomiting, abdominal pain and fever, which is very easy to cause water and electricity disorder and seriously affect the health and even life safety of children. Infectious diarrhea is the most common clinical diarrhea in children, which often occurs in summer and autumn. At present, the treatment mainly includes correcting water and electricity disorder, rational application of antibiotics, protection of gastrointestinal mucosa, intestinal probiotics, etc. the clinical curative effect is not satisfactory, and the problems such as bacterial drug resistance, double infection, flora imbalance, expensive treatment cost and easy repetition caused by unreasonable use of antibiotics are difficult to be completely solved. Methods: 100 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were cultured from January 20 to March 2021 and treated in our hospital. 100 patients were randomly divided into two groups. The control group of 50 patients received routine treatment. A group of 50 patients with external coating of traditional Chinese medicine treatment, observe the symptoms and state indicators of the two groups. Results: after treatment, the difference between the disease index of the joint tumor obtained from the tissue and the joint pain index of the control group at dawn was statistical (N < 0.05). Conclusion: the application of external coating in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis can quickly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with ideal effect, which is worthy of clinical publicity.展开更多

METHODS: Twenty healthy volunteers (10 female, 10 male) underwent the 13C-MBT after intake of 75 mg 13C-methacetin p.o. on three occasions. Short-and medium-term reproducibility was assessed with paired examinations taken at an interval of 2 and 18 d (medians), respectively. RESULTS: The reproducibility of the 1-h cumulative 13C recovery (AUC0-60), characterized by a coefficient of variation of 10%, appeared to be considerably better than the reproducibility of the maximum momentary 13C recovery or the time of reaching it. Remarkably, as opposed to the short gap between consecutive examinations, the capacity of the liver to handle 13C-methacetin increased slightly but statistically significantly when a repeat dose was administered after two to three weeks.Regarding the AUC0-60, the magnitude of this fixed bias amounted to 7.5%. Neither the time gap between the repeat examinations nor the gender of the subjects affected the 13C-MBT reproducibility. CONCLUSION: 13C-MBT is most reproducibly quantified by the cumulative 13C recovery, but the exactitude thereof may be modestly affected by persistent stimulation of CYP1A2 on repeat examinations.展开更多
[Objectives]To explore the protective effect and molecular mechanism of Shui People s Classic Prescription Jipei Dilong Ointment on knee osteoarthritis in rats.[Methods]72 SPF male SD rats were divided into control gr...[Objectives]To explore the protective effect and molecular mechanism of Shui People s Classic Prescription Jipei Dilong Ointment on knee osteoarthritis in rats.[Methods]72 SPF male SD rats were divided into control group,model group,Jipei Dilong Ointment high,medium and low dose groups,and positive drug Diclofenac group,with 12 rats in each group.Except the control group,all other groups were injected with 0.2 mL of 2%papain and 0.3%L-cysteine mixture into knee joint cavity to establish osteoarthritis model,while the control group was injected with the same amount of normal saline.The Lequesne MG score was used to determine the success of the model.After successful modeling,external administration was given for 4 weeks.The histopathological changes in articular cartilage and synovium were observed by HE staining;the levels of TNF-α,IL-1βand COX-2 in serum were detected by ELISA,and the relative expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 mRNA in cartilage was detected by qRT-PCR;the relative expression of MMP-9,TIMP-1,TLR4,MyD88 and NF-κB in rat cartilage was detected by Western-blot.[Results]Compared with the model group,Jipei Dilong Ointment could significantly reduce the Lequesne MG score and Mankin s score of arthritic rats(P<0.01);significantly improve the pathological changes in articular cartilage and synovium,reduce tissue edema,necrosis,inflammatory cell infiltration and fibrous tissue proliferation;reduce the expression of MMP-9 mRNA(P<0.01)in different degrees and increase the expression of TIMP-1 mRNA(P<0.01);reduce the relative expression of MMP-9,TLR4,MyD88 and NF-κB protein in different degrees(P<0.01),and significantly increase the relative expression of TIMP-1 protein in cartilage(P<0.01).[Conclusions]Jipei Dilong Ointment can improve the joint injury of osteoarthritis rats,and the mechanism may be related to the regulation of TLR4/MyD88/NF-κB signaling pathway and the ratio of MMP-9/TIMP-1.展开更多

文摘[Objectives]To explore the protective effect and molecular mechanism of Shui People s Classic Prescription Jipei Dilong Ointment on knee osteoarthritis in rats.[Methods]72 SPF male SD rats were divided into control group,model group,Jipei Dilong Ointment high,medium and low dose groups,and positive drug Diclofenac group,with 12 rats in each group.Except the control group,all other groups were injected with 0.2 mL of 2%papain and 0.3%L-cysteine mixture into knee joint cavity to establish osteoarthritis model,while the control group was injected with the same amount of normal saline.The Lequesne MG score was used to determine the success of the model.After successful modeling,external administration was given for 4 weeks.The histopathological changes in articular cartilage and synovium were observed by HE staining;the levels of TNF-α,IL-1βand COX-2 in serum were detected by ELISA,and the relative expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 mRNA in cartilage was detected by qRT-PCR;the relative expression of MMP-9,TIMP-1,TLR4,MyD88 and NF-κB in rat cartilage was detected by Western-blot.[Results]Compared with the model group,Jipei Dilong Ointment could significantly reduce the Lequesne MG score and Mankin s score of arthritic rats(P<0.01);significantly improve the pathological changes in articular cartilage and synovium,reduce tissue edema,necrosis,inflammatory cell infiltration and fibrous tissue proliferation;reduce the expression of MMP-9 mRNA(P<0.01)in different degrees and increase the expression of TIMP-1 mRNA(P<0.01);reduce the relative expression of MMP-9,TLR4,MyD88 and NF-κB protein in different degrees(P<0.01),and significantly increase the relative expression of TIMP-1 protein in cartilage(P<0.01).[Conclusions]Jipei Dilong Ointment can improve the joint injury of osteoarthritis rats,and the mechanism may be related to the regulation of TLR4/MyD88/NF-κB signaling pathway and the ratio of MMP-9/TIMP-1.

文摘Medicinal plants are popular and widely used as a major source of herbal drugs and pharmaceutical compounds. Ever-growing demands make medicinal plants faced to several problems including efficacy and safety to meet business requirements, conservation, and artificially assisted breeding. As a powerful molecular tool, microsatellites offer the great potentials for various purposes in plants. This review provides a scenario of microsatellites in medicinal plants including development from genomic or expressed sequence tag libraries, cross-species transferability, genotyping, and potential applications. We emphasized on the authentication of medicinal plants by microsatellite markers.

文摘Cymbopogon citratus in the gramineous family,also known as lemongrass(LG),is a perennial herb.LG,a drug and food homologous medicine,has a widely recorded medicinal value and food applications.To date,158 LG compounds have been reported,including terpenoids,flavonoids,phenolic acids.Pharmacological and clinical studies have indicated that LG has antibacterial,neuroprotective,hypoglycemic,hypotensive,anti-inflammatory,and anti-tumor effects.This article reviews LG in ethnopharmacology,chemical composition,pharmacology,food,medicine,and daily chemical applications to provide a basis for the subsequent development of food and medicine.
