During the in vitro expression, the dilution of heart nuclear DNA fragments could enhance the expression activity of LDH/DNA and the amount of expressed LDH (1 5) is in proportion to the amount of dissociable LDH (1 5) on the LDH/DNA. With the integration of 14C Leu to the proteins, it is also observed that the addition of LDH (1 5) ...nNAD + can suppress the in vitro expression activity of LDH/DNA. AFM observation shows that the regulation sequence at the both ends of active genes may be bound with such active factors as proteins encoded by the genes which probably is the main molecular switch of gene expression and regulation we have been always searching for. Our work shows the prospective application of the combination of AFM and isotope labeling in the research of biological reaction.展开更多
Oscillatory neural networks(ONNs)can handle image processing and combinational optimization problems with high biological plausibility.Coupled oscillators in ONNs mimic the neuronal oscillations and communication in t...Oscillatory neural networks(ONNs)can handle image processing and combinational optimization problems with high biological plausibility.Coupled oscillators in ONNs mimic the neuronal oscillations and communication in the human brain.In this study,we demonstrate edge detection and graph coloring using a network of oscillatory neuromorphic devices comprising silicon nanosheet(NS)-gated diodes and series resistors.Silicon NS-gated diodes modulate the energy band structure in the channel through electrostatic doping,which tunes the amplitude and frequency of the oscillatory neuromorphic devices.Coupled oscillatory neuromorphic devices with capacitors can be in-or out-of-phase,enabling edge detection.Horizontal and vertical edge detections were performed using the coupling configuration.Furthermore,an ONN using oscillatory neuromorphic devices with resistive and capacitive couplings can solve graph coloring problems by representing the coloring solutions as phase differences.This study provides a method for achieving a compact silicon-based ONN that acts as a solver machine,as well as an image processor.展开更多
It is generally considered that the occurrence of glacial-interglacial gyrations can be explained with the Milankovitch theory.However,the solutions of some problems in the theory are currently not derived yet.After r...It is generally considered that the occurrence of glacial-interglacial gyrations can be explained with the Milankovitch theory.However,the solutions of some problems in the theory are currently not derived yet.After researching the eastward dust transport from Central Asia,we have found that there is a positive feedback mechanism between the eastward dust transport and the global temperature decrease.This magnifies the effect of solar radiation change in the high-latitude Hemisphere,and results in area of the Northern the occurrence of the global glacial epoch.The positive feedback mechanism starts with the reduction of solar radiation in the high-latitude area of the Northern Hemisphere.Subsequently,the global temperature decreases and global glacial epoch occurs,in which the pivotal fac-tor is the eastward dust transport from Central Asia.With the theory of the positive feedback mechanism,some problems in the Milankovitch theory can be solved well.展开更多
