Taking advantage of this fact, we may find out whether there are microtubule organizing centers in the interphasic nuclei and whether nuclear membrane does play any role in the formation of microtubules, if the isolated nuclei are mixed with a solution of tubulin and let the tubulin in the mixture polymerize. With this simple idea, the experiments presented in this report were carried out.展开更多
