We study the stochastic optimization problem of the workers and employers pursuing expectation discount effectiveness (income or profit) maximum in the service market. By using stochastic analysis methods and process, we analyze the relationship between the number of employment, wage and labor input under equilibrium level. Moreover we discuss the workers 'welfare, some helpful results are obtained.展开更多

The Ag-deposited n-typ...In this paper, two types of silicon(Si) particles ball-milled from n-type Si wafers, respectively, with resistivity values of 1 Ω·cm and 0.001 Ω·cm are deposited with silver(Ag). The Ag-deposited n-type 1-Ω·cm Si particles(nl-Ag) and Ag-deposited n-type 0.001-Ω·cm Si particles(n0.001-Ag) are separately used as an anode material to assemble coin cells,of which the electrochemical performances are investigated. For the matching of work function between n-type 1-Ω·cm Si(nl) and Ag, nl-Ag shows discharge specific capacity of up to 683 mAh·g^-1 at a current density of 8.4 A·g^-1, which is40% higher than that of n0.001-Ag. Furthermore, the resistivity of nl-Ag is lower than half that of n0.001-Ag. Due to the mismatch of work function between n-type 0.001-Ω·cm Si(n0.001) and Ag, the discharge specific capacity of n0.001-Ag is 250.2 mAh·g^-1 lower than that of nl-Ag after 100 cycles.展开更多

The flow field is decomposed into inner and outer domains by an imaginary control surfa...A domain decomposition and matching method in the time-domain is outlined for simulating the motions of ships advancing in waves. The flow field is decomposed into inner and outer domains by an imaginary control surface, and the Rankine source method is applied to the inner domain while the transient Green function method is used in the outer domain. Two initial boundary value problems are matched on the control surface. The corresponding numerical codes are developed, and the added masses, wave exciting forces and ship motions advancing in head sea for Series 60 ship and S175 containership, are presented and verified. A good agreement has been obtained when the numerical results are compared with the experimental data and other references. It shows that the present method is more efficient because of the panel discretization only in the inner domain during the numerical calculation, and good numerical stability is proved to avoid divergence problem regarding ships with flare.展开更多

These materials are composed of various materials with different micro-structures which can vary spatially in FGMs. Such composites with varying thickness and non-uniform pressure can be used in the aerospace engineering. Therefore, analysis of such composite is of high importance in engineering problems. Thermoelastic analysis of functionally graded cylinder with variable thickness under non-uniform pressure is considered. First order shear deformation theory and total potential energy approach is applied to obtain the governing equations of non-homogeneous cylinder. Considering the inner and outer solutions, perturbation series are applied to solve the governing equations. Outer solution for out of boundaries and more sensitive variable in inner solution at the boundaries are considered. Combining of inner and outer solution for near and far points from boundaries leads to high accurate displacement field distribution. The main aim of this paper is to show the capability of matched asymptotic solution for different non-homogeneous cylinders with different shapes and different non-uniform pressures. The results can be used to design the optimum thickness of the cylinder and also some properties such as high temperature residence by applying non-homogeneous material.展开更多

In the proposed method, the PID controller and the plant model are represented with their corresponding Legendre series. Matching the first three terms of the Legendre series of the loop gain with the desired one gives the PID controller parameters. The closed loop system stability conditions in terms of the Legendre basis function pole(λ) for a wide range of systems including the first order, second order, double integrator, first order plus dead time, and first order unstable plants are obtained. For first order and double integrator plants, the closed loop system stability is preserved for all values of λ and for the other plants, an appropriate range in terms of λ is obtained. The optimum value of λ to attain a minimum integral square error performance index in the presence of the control signal constraints is achieved. The numerical simulations demonstrate the benefits of the Legendre based PID controller.展开更多
