Our concern is to investigate controlled remote implementation of partially unknown operations with multiple layers.We first propose a scheme to realize the remote implementation of singlequbit operations belonging to the restricted sets.Then,the proposed scheme is extended to the case of single-qudit operations.As long as the controller and the higher-layer senders consent,the receiver can restore the desired state remotely operated by the sender.It is worth mentioning that the recovery operation is deduced by general formulas which clearly reveal the relationship with the measurement outcomes.For the sake of clarity,two specific examples with two levels are given respectively.In addition,we discuss the influence of amplitude-damping noise and utilize weak measurement and measurement reversal to effectively resist noise. 展开更多

Hydrodynamic performance of bionic streamlined remotely operated vehicle based on CFD and overlapping mesh technology

To meet the intelligent detection needs of underwater defects in large hydropower stations,the hydrodynamic performance of a bionic streamlined remotely operated vehicle containing a thruster protective net structure is numerically simulated via computational fluid dynamics and overlapping mesh technology.The results show that the entity model generates greater hydrodynamic force during steady motion,whereas the square net model experiences greater force and moment during unsteady motion.The lateral and vertical force coefficients of the entity model are 4.32 and 3.13 times greater than those of the square net model in the oblique towing test simulation.The square net model also offers better static and dynamic stability,with a 24.5%increase in dynamic stability,achieving the highest lift-to-drag ratio at attack angles of 6°∼8°.This research provides valuable insights for designing and controlling underwater defect detection vehicles for large hydropower stations. 展开更多

Firstly, the controlled teleportation of an arbitrary unitary operation by bidirectional quantum state teleportaion (BQST) with high-dimensional systems is considered. Then, instead of using the BQST method, a protocol for controlled remote implementation of partially unknown operations belonging to some restricted sets in high-dimensional systems is proposed. It is shown that, in these protocols, if and only if the controller would like to help the sender with the remote operations, the controlled remote implementation of quantum operations for high-dimensional systems can be completed. 展开更多

This paper introduces an operational method of satellite remote sensing to monitor sea- ice using quantitative data of NOAA, and its contents include computer processing of AVHRR sounding data of NOAA and its program design, imagery processing of sea-ice imagery from satellite and their thematic analysis. The sea-ice satellite colour imageries processed via this software system are able to interpret sea-ice pattern, characterizing it by thickness, maximum position of ice boundary, floe concentration and dynamic process of ice changing. At the same time, analyses of the ice condition of the Bohai Sea for the two-year period (1986-1988) as monitored by satellite have been summarized. 展开更多

With the increasing civil aviation passengers and the rapid development of aviation logistics,the study on remotely piloted operation(RPO)mode has received extensive attention.RPO mode constructs the piloting decisionmaking mode which involves the tripartite collaboration among airborne automatic/autonomous system,remote ground-based crews and air traffic control.In this paper,we describe the organizing architecture for commercial remotely piloted aircraft(CRPA)system and its components.Compared with the current operation mode,the new air-ground collaborative decision-making mode has been established with six different situations based on the type of the flight and the condition of the remote pilot.Taking airport surface operation as an experimental example,we model the airport surface operation process and compare the advantages and disadvantages between RPO mode and the current dual-pilot mode from the perspectives of time and operation coverage,and draw conclusions that RPO mode can basically cover the flight operations of the dual-pilot,improve the accuracy of pilot operations and greatly reduce response time by 48%in pre-flight inspection.The above research would be the foundation for the RPO development of commercial aircraft in China. 展开更多

To solve this problem, a master-slave robot remote welding system was built, the system consisted of a master manipulator with six degree of freedom ( DOF ) , an industrial computer control system and a slave Motoman HP3 J robot, and human hand tremor and digital filtering were discussed. An optimal digital filter was designed to clean human tremor signal for improving the welding seam tracking precision. In this paper, a scheme is proposed for performing remote operation on quantum state among multiparty. We use three-particle GHZ state as quantum channels to prepare a state operator, which describes quantum correlation between states and operations. Based on the special characteristic of the state operator, observers can perform unitary operation on a system that is away from observers. Our studies show this process is deterministic. We further consider remote operation among N spatially distributed observers, and the results show the successful realization of remote operation needs collective participation of N parties, that is, there exists strong correlation among multiparty. In addition, we investigate the case in which observers share a three-particle W state as quantum channels to perform remote operation and studies find this process is probabilistic. 展开更多

In this study, we developed an integrated simulation environment capable of simulating and analyzing the overall mission of USV. In Part?I, we modelled the USV Integrated Mission Planning Process and in Part?II, we developed an experimental framework and interface for loading them. The integrated Mission Planning System?(MPS) of Unmanned Surface Vehicle?(USV) refers to the process which can recognize, decide, plan situations and carry out missions, such as human beings, for all incidental or complex events occurring at sea. In the actual operating environment, it is necessary to develop a simulation software environment and analyze, verify it in advance so as to make an appropriate mission plan considering equipment, sensor, fuel, and other available resources. The existing USV mission planning process methodology has several limitations in the analysis of USV missions because the scenario to be tested is limited and autonomy of USV is not considered sufficiently. To overcome these problems, we constructed a process that considers various missions and is more autonomous, and an integrated environment in which to experiment. In this study, we designed a multi-agent based USV Integrated Mission Planning System and modeled each component. In addition, we constructed the USV remote operation S/W based on M&S that user can experiment with the modeled process and verified the usefulness of the developed system through simulations. 展开更多

The paper formulates new principles that should form the basis for the development and creation of new environmental monitoring based on heavy UAVs and high-altitude so-called pseudo-satellites capable of operating for a long time at altitudes of 25 - 30 km. In order to develop such principles, this paper analyzes the radioecological situation in the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine for rapid and high-quality environmental cleanup and rehabilitation of areas with detected critical levels of environmentally hazardous pollutants. In order to quickly obtain fundamentally new environmental information, it is necessary to conduct multi-parameter, high-precision integrated monitoring of the Earth’s geospheres based on the latest methods and equipment for ground and remote environmental measurements, and new methods and technological means of clean, environmentally safe processing and final disposal. As the most appropriate technology, we propose mobile installations for plasma-chemical pyrolysis of medical waste directly at the place of its generation. 展开更多

This paper presents the features of newly designed hydrodynamics test for the scaled model of 4500 m deepsea open-framed remotely operated vehicle (ROV), which is being researched and developed by Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Accurate hydrodynamics coefficients measurement and spatial modeling of ROV are significant for the maneuverability and control algorithm. The scaled model of ROV was constructed by 1:1.6. Hydrodynamics coefficients were measured through VPMM and LAHPMM towing test. And dynamics model was derived as a set of equations, describing nonlinear and coupled 5-DOF spatial motions. Rotation control motion was simulated to verify spatial model proposed. Research and application of hydrodynamics coefficients are expected to enable ROV to overcome uncertainty and disturbances of deepsea environment, and accomplish some more challengeable and practical missions. 展开更多

This paper proposed a bi-criteria weighting approach for fault tolerant control(FTC)of SY-II remote operated vehicle(ROV).This approach integrates the minimum kinetic energy(2-norm optimal)approach with the infinity-norm approach through a weighting coefcient,on the basis of SY-II ROV force allocation model.For the realization of fault tolerable control,this approach converts a quadratic programming problem into primaldual neural network.From the motion control simulations and experiments,bi-criteria optimization approach outperforms minimum kinetic energy optimization in FTC,SY-II ROV can realize 2-degree of freedom(DOF)horizontal fault tolerant control with one main thruster and any of horizontal ones.Therefore,this scheme is proved to be of superiority and computational efciency,both the reliability and safety for ROV have been improved. 展开更多

Dual-polarization(dual-pol)radar variables provide information about the quantity,type,size,and water content of hydrometeors.Assimilating these dual-pol radar variables into numerical weather prediction models can enhance forecast accuracy.Observation operators are essential for radar data assimilation.This study focuses on applying a realistic dual-pol radar observation operator to more accurately calculate dual-pol radar variables.Previously reported dual-pol radar observation operators tended to overestimate radar variables near 0℃ in convective precipitation and simulate unrealistic dual-pol radar variables in subfreezing regions.To address this,the improved operator(KNU dual-pol radar observation operator;K-DROP)limits the distribution of mixed-phase hydrometeors,which have both solid and liquid properties,in areas with strong updrafts and downdrafts,improving the overestimation of radar variables near the melting layer.Additionally,by applying the observed snow axis ratio during winter to K-DROP,the issue of differential reflectivity(Z_(DR))being calculated as a constant value in subfreezing regions has been improved.By incorporating the observed maximum radius of hydrometeors into K-DROP,the overestimation of reflectivity(Z_(H))in subfreezing regions,the overestimation of Z_(DR)in warm regions,and the underestimation of specific differential phase(K_(DP))in subfreezing regions and overestimation in warm regions,are improved.Compared to previous operators,the enhanced version reported in the present work produces more realistic dual-pol radar variables. 展开更多

With the aim of operational service, several kinds of ocean color remote sensing application systems have been developed and realized the long-term marine environmental monitoring utilizing the real-time or near real-time satellite and airborne remote sensing data. New progresses in the technology and application of ocean color remote sensing in China are described, including the research of key techniques and the development of various application systems. Meanwhile, according to the application status and demand, the prospective development of Chinese ocean color remote sensing is brought forward. With Chinese second ocean color satellite ( HY-1 B) orbiting on 11 April 2007 and the development of airborne ocean color remote sensing system for Chinese surveillance planes, great strides will take place in Chinese ocean color remote sensing application with the unique function in marine monitoring, resources management and national security, etc. 展开更多

This paper presents the applications of Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) data and Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) time series data for winter wheat production estimation in North China Plain. The keytechniques are described systematically about winter wheat yield estimation system, including automatically extractingwheat area, simulating and monitoring wheat growth situation, building wheat unit yield model of large area and forecasting wheat production. Pattern recognition technique was applied to extract sown area using TM data. Temporal NDVI(Normal Division Vegetation Index) profiles were produced from 8 - 12 times AVHRR data during wheat growth dynamically. A remote sensing yield model for large area was developed based on greenness accumulation, temperature andgreenness change rate. On the basis of the solution of key problems, an operational system for winter wheat yield estimation in North China Plain using remotely sensed data was established and has operated since 1993, which consists of 4 subsystems, namely databases management, image processing, models bank management and production prediction system.The accuracy of wheat production prediction exceeded 96 per cent compared with on the spot measurement. 展开更多
