Comparison of endoscopic ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging in assessment of detailed structures of pancreatic cystic neoplasms 被引量:18

AIM To evaluate the advantages of endoscopic ultrasound(EUS) in the assessment of detailed structures of pancreatic cystic neoplasms(PCNs) compared to computed tomography(CT) and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).METHODS All patients with indeterminate PCNs underwent CT, MRI, and EUS. The detailed information, including size, number, the presence of a papilla/nodule, the presence of a septum, and the morphology of the pancreatic duct of PCNs were compared among the three imaging modalities. The size of each PCN was determined using the largest diameter measured. A cyst consisting of several small cysts was referred to as a motherdaughter cyst. Disagreement among the three imaging modalities regarding the total number of mother cysts resulted in the assumption that the correct number was the one in which the majority of imaging modalities indicated.RESULTS A total of 52 females and 16 males were evaluated. The median size of the cysts was 42.5 mm by EUS, 42.0 mm by CT and 38.0 mm by MRI; there was no significant difference in size as assessed among the three imaging techniques. The diagnostic sensitivity and ability of EUS to classify PCNs were 98.5%(67/68) and 92.6%(63/68), respectively. These percentages were higher than those of CT(73.1%, P < 0.001; 17.1%, P < 0.001) and MRI(81.3%, P = 0.001; 20.3%, P < 0.001). EUS was also able to better assess the number of daughter cysts in mother cysts than CT(P = 0.003); however, there was no significant difference between EUS and MRI in assessing mother-daughter cysts(P = 0.254). The papilla/nodule detection rate by EUS was 35.3%(24/68), much higher than those by CT(5.8%, 3/52) and MRI(6.3%, 4/64). The detection rate of the septum by EUS was 60.3%(41/68), which was higher than those by CT(34.6%, 18/52) and by MRI(46.9%, 30/64); the difference between EUS and CT was significant(P = 0.02). The rate of visualizing the pancreatic duct using EUS was 100%, whereas using CT and MRI it was less than 10%.CONCLUSION EUS helps visualize the detailed structures of PCNs and has many advantages over CT and MRI. EUS is valuable in the diagnosis and assessment of PCNs. 展开更多

Overcoming the strength and ductility trade-off is conducive to expanding the application prospects of the Mg matrix composites.A new approach of using the master alloy containing particulate reinforcements to achieve the strength and ductility synergy in the Mg matrix composites was proposed,which can induce the grain size bimodal structure by regulating the dynamic recrystallization(DRX).Specifically,a novel AlN-Al master alloy was prepared via powder metallurgy to fabricate the AlN/ZK60 composite,and the effects of adding the AlN-Al master alloy on microstructure evolution related to the strength and ductility synergy in the composite were thoughtfully investigated,involving precipitation,grain size,and DRX behavior.The reaction between the Al in the master alloy and the Zr in the ZK60 Mg alloy suppressed the grain refinement,and the coarse grains were further formed after the solution treatment on the as-cast composite.Subsequently,deformation heterogeneity between the AlN and Mg matrix during the hot extrusion induced discontinuous dynamic recrystallization(DDRX)and promoted fine grain fraction.The combination formed the bimodal structure in the AlN/ZK60 composite,and coarse and fine grains acted as hard and soft zones,respectively,during the room temperature deformation.The hard zone was enhanced by the basal texture strengthening,and the ductility was improved due to the promotion of the basalslipping in the soft zone,jointly leading to the strength and ductility synergy in the AlN/ZK60 composite for the ultimate tensile strength increased by ~7.4%while maintaining the same elongation compared with the ZK60 Mg alloy. 展开更多

In this study,the effect of ash removal on Shenfu bituminous coal was investigated.The coal was pretreated by hydrofluoric acid(HF)pickling,and the raw/pretreated coal chars were prepared at 900°C in a fixed bed reactor.The structure of coal and char were detected by Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)and Raman spectroscopy.The reactivity was tested in a thermogravimetric analyzer,including coal pyrolysis and char gasification.The reaction kinetics was analyzed through the Coats–Redfern method,master plots,the model-free and model-fitting method.The results show that the HF pickling can remove silicon from coal efficiently,and the macromolecular framework of coal is quite stable according to FTIR.The Raman parameters imply some carbonaceous structure on coal surface changed.For slow pyrolysis of coal,the effect of heating rate is considered.The changes of pyrolysis characteristics and kinetics are insignificant.For char gasification,the reactivity under isothermal and non-isothermal condition are discussed with an emphasis in different residence time of devolatilization process.In kinetic control region(low temperature),the activation energy(Ea)is very close(about 240 kJ/mol)for all chars.With the temperature increases,the reactivity of raw coal char is more easily suffered by diffusion.The random pore model is more suitable for the ash-free coal char,and the char with long residence time has a larger value of structural parameterψand smaller value of pre-exponential factor A.The Ea calculated by model-fitting and model-free method were in good agreement. 展开更多

By use of ICP spectroscopy,energy spectrum analysis,hydrogen tester,image analyzer,the differential scanning calorimetric(DSC)and microscope analysis,the effects of RE on the Porosity,structure and properties of B319 aluminum alloy were studied.The results show that under the 0.3°C/s slow cooling rate in lost foam casting,the effect of RE on modification and grain size of B319 aluminum alloy is little.With the increase of RE master alloy,the tensile strength and elongation increase.When RE>0.15%,block like La_(2)Si_(2)Al_(3)phase appear,and the tensile strength and elongation decrease.The results also show that the melt hydrogen content and casting porosity can be decreased greatly by adding 0.15%RE to aluminum melt.This is the important reason why RE improves the mechanical properties of casting under lost foam casting condition. 展开更多

为了研究纵肋-面板(Rib-to-Deck,RD)构造细节的轮载应力响应特征,在某环氧铺装沥青混凝土正交异性桥面板上开展了RD构造细节的现场应力监测,基于连续一周的现场监测数据,研究了RD构造细节的轮载应力行为。建立正交异性桥面板精细化有限... 为了研究纵肋-面板(Rib-to-Deck,RD)构造细节的轮载应力响应特征,在某环氧铺装沥青混凝土正交异性桥面板上开展了RD构造细节的现场应力监测,基于连续一周的现场监测数据,研究了RD构造细节的轮载应力行为。建立正交异性桥面板精细化有限元模型,开展了RD构造细节的有限元分析。结果表明:RD构造细节的面板侧应力响应以局部效应为主,整体效应为辅,且局部效应远大于整体效应;在横桥向,当轮载中心偏离构造细节距离大于1倍纵肋中心距之后,面板侧与纵肋侧的应力幅值都急剧减少,因此可以忽略相邻车道并行的应力叠加效应;在纵桥向,RD构造细节的应力响应影响线仅在2个横隔板距离之间。当RD构造细节位于轮载正下方附近时,能精准识别随机车流的轴数。有限元分析与现场监测结果一致,RD构造细节的面板侧应力幅值均大于纵肋侧,轮载作用下的纵肋侧焊趾的疲劳抗力高于面板侧。 展开更多

针对隐框玻璃幕墙结构胶损伤程度难以量化评估的问题,提出一种基于离散小波变换的损伤识别方法。利用橡胶锤激励玻璃面板,采用高灵敏度加速度传感器采集振动响应信号;选用db3小波基函数对信号进行6层分解,提取细节系数模极大值作为损伤... 针对隐框玻璃幕墙结构胶损伤程度难以量化评估的问题,提出一种基于离散小波变换的损伤识别方法。利用橡胶锤激励玻璃面板,采用高灵敏度加速度传感器采集振动响应信号;选用db3小波基函数对信号进行6层分解,提取细节系数模极大值作为损伤指标;设计包含单边损伤程度0~75%、多边同损伤程度不同位置共7种工况的600 mm×600 mm隐框玻璃幕墙试件实验,系统采集49个测点的数据。结果表明,d4层细节系数模极大值与损伤程度呈现强线性负相关(R^(2)=0.98),损伤程度每增加1级,模极大值下降11.3m/s^(2),严重损伤时d4值较无损状态降低75.1%;d2和d3层系数对损伤位置敏感,结合d4层模极大值下降幅度的空间差异,损伤位于测点对侧与邻近时降幅相差5.7 m/s^(2),可以此实现损伤位置的可靠定位。相较传统模态分析法,该方法无需建模,识别误差降低40%以上,为幕墙安全监测提供高精度、抗干扰的技术支撑。 展开更多

The morphology and thermodynamics data of the primary particles of the master alloy were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). It shows that the primary particles are dendrite-shaped particles comprised of several attached small cubic, cusped-cubic or crucifer shape particles at slow cooling rate. However, the primary particles are separated with crucifer shape at intermediate cooling rate, and they are cubic with cusped-cubic shape at high cooling rate. Meanwhile, the separated and attached particles present AlaSc/AlaZr1-xScx core-shell structure. The formation mechanism of the structure was systematically investigated by a mathematical model. 展开更多
