With the advancements in internet facilities,people are more inclined towards the use of online services.The service providers shelve their items for e-users.These users post their feedbacks,reviews,ratings,etc.after ...With the advancements in internet facilities,people are more inclined towards the use of online services.The service providers shelve their items for e-users.These users post their feedbacks,reviews,ratings,etc.after the use of the item.The enormous increase in these reviews has raised the need for an automated system to analyze these reviews to rate these items.Sentiment Analysis(SA)is a technique that performs such decision analysis.This research targets the ranking and rating through sentiment analysis of these reviews,on different aspects.As a case study,Songs are opted to design and test the decision model.Different aspects of songs namely music,lyrics,song,voice and video are picked.For the reason,reviews of 20 songs are scraped from YouTube,pre-processed and formed a dataset.Different machine learning algorithms—Naïve Bayes(NB),Gradient Boost Tree,Logistic Regression LR,K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN)and Artificial Neural Network(ANN)are applied.ANN performed the best with 74.99%accuracy.Results are validated using K-Fold.展开更多
Most consumers read online reviews written by different users before making purchase decisions,where each opinion expresses some sentiment.Therefore,sentiment analysis is currently a hot topic of research.In particula...Most consumers read online reviews written by different users before making purchase decisions,where each opinion expresses some sentiment.Therefore,sentiment analysis is currently a hot topic of research.In particular,aspect-based sentiment analysis concerns the exploration of emotions,opinions and facts that are expressed by people,usually in the form of polarity.It is crucial to consider polarity calculations and not simply categorize reviews as positive,negative,or neutral.Currently,the available lexicon-based method accuracy is affected by limited coverage.Several of the available polarity estimation techniques are too general and may not reect the aspect/topic in question if reviews contain a wide range of information about different topics.This paper presents a model for the polarity estimation of customer reviews using aspect-based sentiment analysis(ABSA-PER).ABSA-PER has three major phases:data preprocessing,aspect co-occurrence calculation(CAC)and polarity estimation.A multi-domain sentiment dataset,Twitter dataset,and trust pilot forum dataset(developed by us by dened judgement rules)are used to verify ABSA-PER.Experimental outcomes show that ABSA-PER achieves better accuracy,i.e.,85.7%accuracy for aspect extraction and 86.5%accuracy in terms of polarity estimation,than that of the baseline methods.展开更多
Reviews have a significant impact on online businesses.Nowadays,online consumers rely heavily on other people’s reviews before purchasing a product,instead of looking at the product description.With the emergence of ...Reviews have a significant impact on online businesses.Nowadays,online consumers rely heavily on other people’s reviews before purchasing a product,instead of looking at the product description.With the emergence of technology,malicious online actors are using techniques such as Natural Language Processing(NLP)and others to generate a large number of fake reviews to destroy their competitors’markets.To remedy this situation,several researches have been conducted in the last few years.Most of them have applied NLP techniques to preprocess the text before building Machine Learning(ML)or Deep Learning(DL)models to detect and filter these fake reviews.However,with the same NLP techniques,machine-generated fake reviews are increasing exponentially.This work explores a powerful text representation technique called Embedding models to combat the proliferation of fake reviews in online marketplaces.Indeed,these embedding structures can capture much more information from the data compared to other standard text representations.To do this,we tested our hypothesis in two different Recurrent Neural Network(RNN)architectures,namely Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)and Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU),using fake review data from Amazon and TripAdvisor.Our experimental results show that our best-proposed model can distinguish between real and fake reviews with 91.44%accuracy.Furthermore,our results corroborate with the state-of-the-art research in this area and demonstrate some improvements over other approaches.Therefore,proper text representation improves the accuracy of fake review detection.展开更多

In brief, the WRP and its extension, the VDP, is a hypothetical plane that is located between the hologram and the object scene, and which is at close proximity to the latter. As such, the fringe patterns on the hypothetical plane are carrying the holistic information of the hologram, as well as the local optical properties of the object scene. This important property enables a hologram to be processed with classical image processing techniques that are normally unsuitable for handling holographic information. This paper conducted a more comprehensive review and comparative analysis of the two heavy to blizzard processes that occurred in the Beijing area during December 13-15,2023,and February 20-21,2024,in terms of compreh...This paper conducted a more comprehensive review and comparative analysis of the two heavy to blizzard processes that occurred in the Beijing area during December 13-15,2023,and February 20-21,2024,in terms of comprehensive weather situation diagnosis,forecasting,and decision-making services,and summarized the meteorological service support experience of such heavy snow weather processes.It was found that both blizzard processes were jointly influenced by the 700 hPa southwesterly warm and humid jet stream and the near-surface easterly backflow;the numerical forecast was relatively accurate in the overall description of the snowfall process,and the forecast bias of the position of the 700 hPa southwesterly warm and humid jet stream determined the bias of the snowfall magnitude forecast at a certain point;when a deviation was found between the actual snowfall and the forecast,the cause should be analyzed in a timely manner,and the warning and forecast conclusions should be updated.With the full cooperation of relevant departments,it can greatly make up for the deviation of the early forecast snowfall amount,and ensure the safety and efficiency of people's travel.展开更多

文摘This paper analyzes the impact of economic reform conducted in both rural and urban areassince 1980s on the urban development and urbanization. By summing up the distinguishing characteristicsappeared in the process of urbanization, it is concluded that the macro control of the state to the urbandevelopment and urbanization should be furtherstrengthened.
文摘The wavefront recording plane (WRP), subsequently generalized to be known as the virtual diffraction plane (VDP), is a recent concept that has been successfully deployed in fast generation and processing of digital holograms. In brief, the WRP and its extension, the VDP, is a hypothetical plane that is located between the hologram and the object scene, and which is at close proximity to the latter. As such, the fringe patterns on the hypothetical plane are carrying the holistic information of the hologram, as well as the local optical properties of the object scene. This important property enables a hologram to be processed with classical image processing techniques that are normally unsuitable for handling holographic information. In this paper we shall review a number of works, that have been developed based on the framework of the WRP and the VDP.

文摘This paper conducted a more comprehensive review and comparative analysis of the two heavy to blizzard processes that occurred in the Beijing area during December 13-15,2023,and February 20-21,2024,in terms of comprehensive weather situation diagnosis,forecasting,and decision-making services,and summarized the meteorological service support experience of such heavy snow weather processes.It was found that both blizzard processes were jointly influenced by the 700 hPa southwesterly warm and humid jet stream and the near-surface easterly backflow;the numerical forecast was relatively accurate in the overall description of the snowfall process,and the forecast bias of the position of the 700 hPa southwesterly warm and humid jet stream determined the bias of the snowfall magnitude forecast at a certain point;when a deviation was found between the actual snowfall and the forecast,the cause should be analyzed in a timely manner,and the warning and forecast conclusions should be updated.With the full cooperation of relevant departments,it can greatly make up for the deviation of the early forecast snowfall amount,and ensure the safety and efficiency of people's travel.
