Cyber-Physical-Social System Between a Humanoid Robot and a Virtual Human Through a Shared Platform for Adaptive Agent Ecology 被引量:3

Two artificial agents(a humanoid robot and a virtual human) are enriched with various similar intelligence,autonomy, functionalities and interaction modalities. The agents are integrated in the form of a cyber-physical-social system(CPSS) through a shared communication platform to create a social ecology. In the ecology, the agents collaborate(assist each other) to perform a real-world task(search for a hidden object)for the benefits of humans. A robot-virtual human bilateral trust model is derived and a real-time trust measurement method is developed. The role of taking initiative in the collaboration is switched between the agents following a finite state machine model triggered by bilateral trust, which results in a mixedinitiative collaboration. A scheme is developed to evaluate the performance of the agents in the ecology through the CPSS.The results show that the robot and the virtual human perform satisfactorily in the collaboration through the CPSS. The results thus prove the effectiveness of the real-world ecology between artificial agents of heterogeneous realities through a shared platform based on trust-triggered mixed-initiatives. The results can help develop adaptive social ecology comprising intelligent agents of heterogeneous realities to assist humans in various tasks through collaboration between the agents in the form of a CPSS. 展开更多

The performance of any inertially stabilized platform (ISP) is strongly related to the bandwidth and accuracy of the angular velocity signals. This paper discusses the development of an optimal state estimator for sensing inertial velocity using low-cost micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) sensors. A low-bandwidth gyroscope is used alone with two low-performance accelerometers to obtain the estimation. The gyroscope has its own limited dynamics and mainly contributes to the low-frequency components of the estimation. The accelerometers have inherent biases and mainly contribute to the high-frequency components of the estimation. Extensive experimental results show that the state estimator can achieve high-performance signals over a wide range of velocities without drifts in both the t- and s-domains. Furthermore, with applications in miniature inertially stabilized platforms, the control characteristic presents a significantly improvement over the existing methods. The method can be also applied to robotics, attitude estimation, and friction compensation. 展开更多

Web fast sharing platform of massive geological maps( WSPGM) is based on the Flex technology development,using B/S architecture,with map navigation,search,display,security and other functions of the software system. Through the map pretreatment and asynchronous communication the system can display any size of geological map,and through the range limits,rights management,sharing system and watermark logo to take effective security on geological map. First, problems and characteristics of knowledge sharing in multi-projects of chemical engineering design are analyzed. Then based on theories of project management, process management, and knowledge management, a process-oriented knowledge-sharing platform is proposed. The platform has three characteristics: knowledge is divided into professional knowledge and project management knowledge; knowledge sharing is integrated with the project process, which makes knowledge sharing a necessary part of the project process and ensures the quantity of knowledge shared; the platform provides quantitative measurements of incentive mechanisms for knowledge providers and users which ensures the quality of knowledge shared. This knowledge-sharing platform uses two knowledge management tools, a knowledge map and a knowledge base, to support the platform. 展开更多

Cyber Threat Intelligence(CTI)has gained massive attention to collect hidden knowledge for a better understanding of the various cyber-attacks and eventually paving the way for predicting the future of such attacks.The information exchange and collaborative sharing through different platforms have a significant contribution towards a global solution.While CTI and the information exchange can help a lot in focusing and prioritizing on the use of the large volume of complex information among different organizations,there exists a great challenge ineffective processing of large count of different Indicators of Threat(IoT)which appear regularly,and that can be solved only through a collaborative approach.Collaborative approach and intelligence sharing have become the mandatory element in the entire world of processing the threats.In order to covet the complete needs of having a definite standard of information exchange,various initiatives have been taken in means of threat information sharing platforms like MISP and formats such as SITX.This paper proposes a scoring model to address information decay,which is shared within TISP.The scoring model is implemented,taking the use case of detecting the Threat Indicators in a phishing data network.The proposed method calculates the rate of decay of an attribute through which the early entries are removed. 展开更多

Validation of a Low Cost Horse Saddle Stabilometric Platform to Analyze the Rider’s Balance

The purpose was to create a stabilometric platform to analyze the rider’s balance. After anatomical and saddle’s mark study, four bones support points representing the rider’s base were determined, that will allow the construction of our rider posture diagnostic aid platform. The sensors profile was realized and the stirrups dynamometers were calibrated through an extensometry study. To validate by comparison with a stabilometric platform (OIML 6000 sensors), one series of 28 observations under the same conditions were carried out (the two platforms adjusted one on the other), statistical analyses on the X and Y axis were performed with normality distribution test (S-W), t test and non-parametric Wilcoxon-Mann-Whitney test (p-value > 0.05). To analyze our two methods of measuring the centre of pressure position, a Bland-Altman analysis has been plotted and the intra class correlation value computed. The Bland-Altman graph showed a small bias value (-0.4 ± 0.8mm) with acceptable limits of agreement for rider balance analyses. The results of the present study suggested that the new platform was accurate and reliable and could be used for further prospective studies in order to optimize the rider’s posture and preserve the horse’s health. 展开更多

The paper at hand explores whether short-term rentals(STRs),operated through sharing platforms,can provide employment opportunities to young people that are Not in Employment,Education and Training(NEETs)and whether such opportunities can comprise a realistic and viable solution to their unemployment.The focus is on low-skilled native women and migrants between 25-29 that live in Spain,Italy,Greece,and Cyprus.Methodologically,the research is based on the analysis of questionnaires conducted with both NEETs and owners or managers of STRs.Our analysis reveals that only firms that own or manage a large number of properties are in position to offer solid employment opportunities.Owners with a limited number of properties are not in position to offer sustainable long-term employment,for two main reasons.First,the generated income is not significant enough to justify employing an individual through a full-time waged-contract or even on a part-time basis;Second,tasks that could potentially lead to employability of NEETs are either low skill positions therefore are outsourced to cheap service providers or require professionals with appropriate technical skills and certifications.In this context,the paper also discusses ways these obstacles to be surpassed. 展开更多

With so many potentially interconnected electronic devices in today’s homes, manufacturers have to think of theirs as only one of the components involved in a general user experience, and not as an isolated device. Users are likely to be using several devices at the same time, either actively through immediate interaction, or passively by expecting devices to give them notifications when necessary, for example. Thus, having cross-devices functionalities is often necessary for a product to be really adapted to its usage situation. Moreover, just as we install software on computers, smartphones and tablets for additional functionalities to use their own hardware, it would be logical to install cross-devices software to use the combined hardware of several home devices for a better user experience. However, even though a number of technologies can be used to transmit data or commands between devices, UPnP being a widespread example, it is not possible to access the behavior of remote devices and add functionalities to them this way. Thus, when manufacturers design their products, there is no way for them to make full use of the other appliances at the user’s home without developing and deploying specific software on each of them. In order to address this issue, this paper discusses a platform for generic development and on-the-fly deployment of applications on home devices. This system aims at letting device vendors deploy innovative features across devices in a home network, without requiring prior knowledge or control over devices already present in the user’s environment. For this platform to be fit for consumer devices, it is designed to be cost-effective, use recent and widespread technologies, and be fast to implement and work with. 展开更多

在数字经济时代,电商平台应如何选择与制造商最优的合作方式,制定出合理的信息共享策略?本文采用电商平台主导的新型权力结构,探究零售模式和纯平台佣金模式两种运营模式下平台及制造商的最优运营决策和需求信息共享策略,以及平台的运... 在数字经济时代,电商平台应如何选择与制造商最优的合作方式,制定出合理的信息共享策略?本文采用电商平台主导的新型权力结构,探究零售模式和纯平台佣金模式两种运营模式下平台及制造商的最优运营决策和需求信息共享策略,以及平台的运营模式选择。研究结果表明:各均衡决策主要受到平台服务绩效的影响。制造商和平台的信息共享策略取决于收集成本和预测信息的准确度,双方就信息共享价值和成本作权衡取舍,在零售模式下双方更易达成信息协作。此外,不同运营模式及不同信息共享策略下平台利润的对比结果表明,对平台来说,选择零售模式始终占优。由于平台掌握着产品的二次定价权,选择零售模式能帮助平台充分发挥博弈先手优势和信息优势,实现自身利润的最大化,达到锦上添花的效果。另外,只有当平台的服务成本绩效较高时,双方才能达成双赢局面。 展开更多

平台型领导是一种以知识型团队共同成长为终极目标的新型领导模式。然而,学界对该类领导与成员、团队三方互动成长的具体机制尚不清楚,尤其是作为共生系统源动力的平台型领导如何假手于成员来赋能自我成长。本文基于社会交换视角和向下... 平台型领导是一种以知识型团队共同成长为终极目标的新型领导模式。然而,学界对该类领导与成员、团队三方互动成长的具体机制尚不清楚,尤其是作为共生系统源动力的平台型领导如何假手于成员来赋能自我成长。本文基于社会交换视角和向下学习过程,构建了一个平台型领导在向下知识分享中反哺学习,然后进行工作重塑以助力自身成长和团队惯例更新的链式中介模型。对共计420名知识型团队领导及1264名成员的两项配对问卷数据研究表明,平台型领导通过向下属分享知识来反哺学习(研究一),进而引发工作重塑行为,实现自身的职业能力成长和团队惯例更新(研究二)。本文揭示了平台型领导赋能知识型团队共同成长的一种策略机制,完善了平台型领导的应用基础研究,也为领导者打造多方共赢的团队和自我管理提供了科学依据。 展开更多
