Like many low phase noise oscillators, a cavity magnonic oscillator faces the challenge that its narrow resonance profile is not well suited for injection locking amplification. This work presents an improved design for such an oscillator configured as an injection locking amplifier(ILA) with an extended lock range. The proposed design features a two-stage architecture, consisting of a pre-amplification oscillator and a cavity magnonic oscillator, separated by an isolator to prevent backward locking.By optimizing the circuit parameters of each stage, the proposed design achieved an order of magnitude increase in lock range, when compared to its predecessors, all while preserving the phase noise quality of the input, making it well-suited for narrowband, sensitive signal amplification. Furthermore, this work provides a method for using oscillators with high spectral purity as injection locking amplifiers.展开更多

The novel interference pattern locking system employs a special homodyne redundant phase measurement interferometer(HRPMI) as the sensor and an acousto-opto modulator(AOM) as the actuator. The HRPMI offers the highly accurate value as well as the direction recognition of the interference pattern drift from four quadrature interference signals. The AOM provides a very fine resolution with a high speed for phase modulation. A compact and concise system with a short optical path can be achieved with this new scheme and a small power laser head in tens of microwatts is sufficient for exposure and phase locking, which results in a relatively low-cost system compared with the heterodyne system. More importantly, the accuracy of the system is at a high level as well as having robustness to environmental fluctuation. The experiment results show that the short-time(4 s) accuracy of the system is 0.0481 rad e3σT at present. Moreover, the phase of the interference pattern can also be set arbitrarily to any value with a high accuracy in a relatively large range, which indicates that the system can also be extended to the SBIL application.展开更多

However, adopting GPUs in real-time systems is still challenging, due to the lack in framework for real-time analysis. In order to guarantee real-time requirements while maintaining system utilization ~in modern heterogeneous systems, such as multicore multi-GPU systems, a novel suspension-based k-exclusion real-time locking protocol and the associated suspension-aware schedulability analysis are proposed. The proposed protocol provides a synchronization framework that enables multiple GPUs to be efficiently integrated in multicore real-time systems. There are two steps. First, after appearance of the Saturn magnetic field due to Meissner phenomenon, all particles orbits are moving to the magnetic equator plane. Finally they become distributed as rings and gaps like iron particles around magnet on laboratory table. And they are separated from each other by the magnetic field expelled from them. It takes up to few tens of thousands years with ten meters rings disk thickness. Second, because of quantum locking all particles become to be locked within magnetic well at the magnetic equator plane due to Abrikosov vortex for superconductor. Finally each particle is locked within three-dimensional magnetic well. It works even when particles have small fraction of superconductor. During the rings evolution some contribution to the disk also could come from the collision-generated debris of the current moon, coming meteorites and from the geysers like it happened due to magnetic coupling of Saturn and Enceladus. The rings are relict of the early days of the magnetic field of Saturn system.展开更多

Humeral shafts non-union either from late presentation after initial treatment by traditional bone setters or failed non-operative orthodox care is a major problem in this part of the world. This non-union is a major treatment challenge with increased cost of care and morbidity in this part of the world. Humeral shaft non-union can be treated with locked intra-medullary nailing (LIMN) or dynamic compression plating (DCP). Study on comparison of these methods of fixation in this part of the world is scarce in literature search, hence the reason for this study. Objective: The objectives of this study are: (1) to compare early clinical outcome following fixation of humeral shaft fracture nonunion with DCP versus LIMN;(2) to compare the time of radiologic fracture union of DCP with LIMN;(3) to compare complications following fixation of humeral shaft fracture nonunion with DCP versus LIMN. Patients and Methods: This was a randomized control study done for 2 years in which fifty adult patients with humeral shaft non-union were recruited. The patients were grouped into 2 (P = DCP & N = LIMN). Forty five of the patients completed the follow up periods of the study and then analyzed. The P group had ORIF with DCP while the N group had ORIF with LIMN. Both groups had grafting with cancellous bones. Each patient was followed up for a period of 6 months at the time which radiographic union is expected. Any patient without clinical and/or radiographic evidence of union after six months of surgery was diagnosed as having recurrent non-union. The data generated was analyzed using SPSS Version 23. The results were presented in charts and tables. The paired t-test was used while considering p value Result: Forty five patients completed follow up. There was a male preponderance (4:1), right humerus predominated (3:2). Motor vehicular accidents were the commonest cause of the fractures (62%). Most non-union fractures occurred at the level of the middle 3rd of the humeral shaft (60%). Failed TBS treatment was the commonest indication for the osteosynthesis (71%). More patients had plating (53%) compared to 47% who had LIMN. Most patients (93.4%) had union between 3 to 6 months irrespective of fixation type with no significant statistical difference between the union rate of DCP and LIMN (p value 0.06) with similar functional outcome and complication rates irrespective of the type of fixation. Conclusion: This study showed that the success rates in term of fracture union, outcome functional grades and complication rates were not directly dependent on the types of the fixation: plating or locked intra-medullary nailing.展开更多

文摘As a major fault in the northeastern Qinghai-Xizang Plateau, the Haiyuan fault zone is important for understanding the regional deformation.Aiming at the differences in the slip rate and locking degree obtained from different studies, this study constructs a refined block model(including Qilian,Alxa,Ordos,Xining,Haiyuan, and Lanzhou blocks)and uses the grid search and simulated annealing methods to invert GPS data for slip rate and locking degree of the Haiyuan fault zone. The results are as follows:(1)The sinistral slip rates in the western, middle, and eastern segments are 4.93-5.22 mm/a,1.52-4.94 mm/a,and 0.43-1.18 mm/a,decreasing eastward on the whole, while the compression rates are 0.45-1.26 mm/a,0.58-2.62 mm/a,and3.52-4.48 mm/a,increasing eastward on the whole.(2)The locking depth of the western segment increases from about 5 km to about 20 km eastward;the middle segment decreases and then increases eastward;the eastern segment concentrates at about 20 km(PHI is about 0.86).(3)The slip deficit is relatively higher in the Lenglongling,Jinqianghe,Maomaoshan, and Liupanshan faults(averaging about 3.42 mm/a,4.16 mm/a,4.23 mm/a,and 3.43 mm/a within 20 km).(4)The Qilian,Alxa,Xining,Lanzhou, and Haiyuan blocks rotate clockwise, while the Ordos block rotates counterclockwise.Additionally,by comparing different block models, the Haiyuan block should be considered independently. The Haiyuan fault zone adjusts surrounding block movements and uplifts Liupanshan mountain tectonically. The results can provide important references for understanding the regional earthquake risk and deformation mechanism.

文摘A cavity magnonic oscillator uses the coupling of a planar transmission line oscillator(cavity) and spin excitations(magnons) in a ferrimagnetic material to achieve superior frequency stability and reduced phase noise. Furthermore, this work provides a method for using oscillators with high spectral purity as injection locking amplifiers.

文摘In 2018,Baige,Xizang,witnessed two consecutive large-scale landslides, causing significant damage and drawing widespread attention. From March 2011 to February 2018,the Baige landslide exhibited a 50-m displacement without complete failure, culminating in a collapse in October 2018.The mechanisms behind its resistance to failure despite substantial deformation and the influence of the complex geo-structure within the tectonic mélange belt remain unclear. To address these questions, this study utilized a multidisciplinary approach, integrating on-site geological field mapping, surface deformation monitoring, multielectrode resistivity method, and deep displacement analysis. The aim was to evaluate the impact of the intricate geo-structure within the tectonic mélange belt on the Baige landslide events.Findings reveal that the landslide's geo-structure consists of structurally fractured,mesh-like rock masses, including heterogeneous lenticular rock masses and intermittent brittle shear zones distributed around the lens-shaped rock masses. The study underscores that the inhomogeneous and weakly deformed lenticular rock masses function as natural locked segments, governing the stability of the Baige landslide.Specifically, the relatively intact and hard granodiorite porphyry play a crucial role in locking the landslide's deformation.Deep displacement analysis indicates that the brittle shear zones act as the sliding surfaces. The progressive destruction of the locked segments and the gradual penetration of brittle shear zones, driven by gravitational potential energy, contribute to the landslide occurrence. This research provides critical insights into the formation mechanisms of large-scale landslides within tectonic mélange belts.

文摘We present a novel homodyne frequency-shifting interference pattern locking system to enhance the exposure contrast of interference lithography and scanning beam interference lithography(SBIL). Moreover, the phase of the interference pattern can also be set arbitrarily to any value with a high accuracy in a relatively large range, which indicates that the system can also be extended to the SBIL application.

文摘Stable operation is one of the most important requirements for a laser source for high-precision applications. Many efforts have been made to improve the stability of lasers by employing various techniques,e.g.,electrical and/or optical injection and phase locking. However, these techniques normally involve complex experimental facilities. Therefore,an easy implementation of the stability evaluation of a laser is still challenging, especially for lasers emitting in the terahertz(THz)frequency range because the broadband photodetectors and mature locking techniques are limited. In this work,we propose a simple method,i.e.,relative phase locking,to quickly evaluate the stability of THz lasers without a need of a THz local oscillator. The THz laser system consists of a THz quantum cascade laser(QCL)frequency comb and a single-mode QCL.Using the single-mode laser as a fast detector, heterodyne signals resulting from the beating between the singlemode laser and the comb laser are obtained. One of the heterodyne beating signals is selected and sent to a phase-locked loop(PLL)for implementing the relative phase locking. Two kinds of locks are performed by feeding the output error signal of the PLL,either to the comb laser or to the single-mode laser.By analyzing the current change and the corresponding frequency change of the PLL-controlled QCL in each phase-locking condition,we,in principle, are able to experimentally compare the stability of the emission frequency of the single-mode QCL(f s)and the carrier envelope offset frequency(f CEO)of the QCL comb. The experimental results reveal that the QCL comb with the repetition frequency injection locked demonstrates much higher stability than the single-mode laser. The work provides a simple heterodyne scheme for understanding the stability of THz lasers, which paves the way for the further locking of the lasers and their high-precision applications in the THz frequency range.

文摘We have developed two 474 THz(633 nm)new iodine stabilized He-Ne lasers with compatible system of third and fifth harmonic locking. The frequency stability is 1.0×10-11/ 1s and 3.5×10-12 / 10s with third harmonic locking, and corresponding values are 1.3×10-11/1s and 4.0×10-12/ 10s with fifth harmonic locking. We found that the frequency difference between the same component with third and fifth harmonic locking are from 5 kHz to SO kHz.Our experiment and analysis indicate that the center of fifth harmonic signals is closer to the Lorentzian center in iodine absorption component than one of the third harmonic signals, and the reproducibility with fifth harmonic locking is also better than one with third harmonic locking.

文摘Graphic processing units (GPUs) have been widely recognized as cost-efficient co-processors with acceptable size, weight, and power consumption. Comparative evaluations show that the proposed methods improve upon the existing work in terms of schedulability.
文摘It is demonstrated how superconducting iced particles of the protoplanetary cloud of Saturn are coming to magnetic equator plane and create the stable enough rings disk. The rings are relict of the early days of the magnetic field of Saturn system.

文摘This paper proposes a new upper-limb exoskeleton to reduce worker physical strain. The proposed design is based on a novel PRRRP(P-Prismatic;R-Revolute)kinematic chain with 5 passive Degrees of Freedom(DoF).Utilizing a magnetic spring, the proposed mechanism includes a specially designed locking mechanism that maintains any desired task posture. The proposed exoskeleton incorporates a balancing mechanism to alleviate discomfort and spinal torsional effects also helping in limb weight relief. This paper reports specific models and simulations to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed design. An experimental characterization is performed to validate the performance of the mechanism in terms of forces and physical strain during a specific application consisting of ceiling-surface drilling tasks. The obtained results preliminarily validate the engineering feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed exoskeleton in the intended operation task thereby requiring the user to exert significantly less force than when not wearing it.

文摘Mode locking can be effectively achieved by using the thermo-optic effects in the whispering gallery mode(WGM)optical microcavity, without the help of external equipment. Therefore,it has the advantages of small size, low integration costs, and self-locking,which shows great potential for application. However, the conventional single-channel microcavity thermal-locking method that relies solely on internal thermal balance will inevitably be disturbed by the external environment. This limitation affects the locking time and stability. Therefore,in this paper,we propose a new method for closed-loop thermal locking of a dual-channel microcavity. The thermal locking of the signal laser and the thermal regulation of the control laser are carried out respectively by synchronously drawing a dual-path tapered fiber. The theoretical model of the thermal dynamics of the dual-channel microcavity system is established, and the influence of the control-laser power on the thermal locking of the signal laser is confirmed. The deviation between the locking voltage of the signal laser and the set point value is used as a closed-loop feedback parameter to achieve long-term and highly stable mode locking of the signal laser. The results show that in the 2.63 h thermal-locking test, the locking stability is an order of magnitude higher than that of the single tapered fiber. This solution addresses the issue of thermal locking being disrupted by the external environment, and offers new possibilities for important applications such as spectroscopy and micro-optical sensor devices.
文摘Objective: to analyze and study the therapeutic effect of locking bone plate internal fixation stent system for osteoporotic fracture, hoping to provide certain reference for the treatment of osteoporotic fracture through this study. 文摘According to the United Nations,a moderately aging society refers to a country where those aged 65 and above exceed 14%of the total population.Data released by the Ministry of Civil Affairs showed that there were 296.97 million people aged 60 and above in China by the end of 2023,accounting for 21.1%of the total population.Among them,216.76 million were aged 65 and above, making up 15.4%of the total population. This indicates that China has officially crossed the threshold into a moderately aging society.
文摘Independent living and housing stability are core principles of the psychiatric recovery process.Only when basic needs such as safe, affordable and permanent housing are met can individuals with serious mental illnesses(SMI)reintegrate into their community, consistently engage with mental health services and begin(or restart)recovery.'Yet,post-discharged individuals with SMI and their psychiatric care providers often grapple with where to go after discharge from psychiatric hospitalisation. This question is particularly central in safety-net hospitals serving people affected by severe health disparities with myriad deficits in social determinants of health(SDoH).In this commentary,we aim to shed light on post-discharge challenges related to housing often encountered by safety-net psychiatric hospitals and propose ways to address them.
文摘Background: Fractures of humeral shaft in adults are common injuries. Conclusion: This study showed that the success rates in term of fracture union, outcome functional grades and complication rates were not directly dependent on the types of the fixation: plating or locked intra-medullary nailing.

文摘The optoelectronic oscillator(OEO)is a typical time-delay system with rich nonlinear dynamical characteristics. Most of the previous research on OEOs has been focused on analyzing the properties of OEOs with a long time delay, which makes it difficult to realize mode locking without additional phaselocking mechanisms. We have achieved, for the first time to our knowledge,a self-mode-locking OEO and generated stable microwave frequency combs by analyzing the characteristics of OEOs with an ultrashort time scale. In the experiment, the self-mode-locking OEOs with fundamental mode,second-order harmonic, and sixth-order harmonic were realized by adjusting the system parameters, all of which produced uniform square wave signals with tunable duty cycles, steep rising and falling edges, and periods of less than 20 ns.The self-fundamental-mode-locking OEOs with different time delays were also implemented and experimentally realized.Furthermore, the experiment revealed the self-hybrid mode-locking OEO,which is the coexistence and synchronization of the three measured self-locking modes in one OEO cavity, demonstrating the complex nonlinear dynamical behaviors of the OEO system and enabling the generation of periodic nonuniform hybrid square wave signals. The realization of the self-mode-locking OEO and the generation of flexible and stable square wave signals at ultrashort time scales enrich the study of OEO nonlinear dynamics in the realm of complex microwave waveform generation, offering promising applications in areas such as atomic clocks, radars, communications, and optoelectronic neural networks.
