The cloud service level agreement(SLA)manage the relationship between service providers and consumers in cloud computing.SLA is an integral and critical part of modern era IT vendors and communication contracts.Due to low cost and flexibility more and more consumers delegate their tasks to cloud providers,the SLA emerges as a key aspect between the consumers and providers.Continuous monitoring of Quality of Service(QoS)attributes is required to implement SLAs because of the complex nature of cloud communication.Many other factors,such as user reliability,satisfaction,and penalty on violations are also taken into account.Currently,there is no such policy of cloud SLA monitoring to minimize SLA violations.In this work,we have proposed a cloud SLA monitoring policy by dividing a monitoring session into two parts,for critical and non-critical parameters.The critical and non-critical parameters will be decided on the interest of the consumer during SLA negotiation.This will help to shape a new comprehensive SLA based Proactive Resource Allocation Approach(RPAA)which will monitor SLA at runtime,analyze the SLA parameters and try to find the possibility of SLA violations.We also have implemented an adaptive system for allocating cloud IT resources based on SLA violations and detection.We have defined two main components of SLA-PRAA i.e.,(a)Handler and(b)Accounting and Billing Manager.We have also described the function of both components through algorithms.The experimental results validate the performance of our proposed method in comparison with state-of-the-art cloud SLA policies. 展开更多

The Kunlunshan Mountain Ms8.1 earthquake, occurred in Nov.14, 2001, is the first event with magnitude more than 8 in the China earthquake monitoring history, specifically at the beginning of digital techniques in precursor monitoring networks. Any investigation of recorded data on this earthquake is very important for testing the operation of the digital monitoring networks and understanding the preparation, occurrence, and adjustment of stress/strain of strong continental earthquakes. In this paper we investigated the coseismic response changes of well water level of groundwater and volume strain meter of bore hole in digital earthquake monitoring network of Capital area and its vicinity, due to the Nov.14, 2001 Ms8.1 Kunlun Mountain earthquake. The responding time, shapes or manners, amplitudes, and lasting time of well water level and strain-meters to seismic wave are studied in comparison. Then we discussed the possibility that the response changes of groundwater to strong distant earthquakes can be understood as one kind of observing evidence of stress/strain changes induced by distant earthquake. 展开更多

Safety time calculation method for“Hang's Mudding-off”operation under circulation loss of returns

The so-called“Hang's Mudding-off”technique is critical to keeping the dynamic pressure balance and guaranteeing the sufficient safe operation time in wellbore.However,for lack of dynamic mathematical model analysis methods for reflecting the changes of annulus liquid level in the borehole during the“Hang's Mudding-off”operation,the actual operation is basically conducted blindly without reasonable engineering basis.According to the actual conditions,a mathematical model for the safe time of the“Hang's Mudding-off”was,for the first time,built up by using the dynamic borehole leakage analysis method.Then,the integral results of leak-off rates were calculated.Finally,the calculation results were verified by field cases.It is shown that the calculation results are highly accordant with the actual data,indicating the reliability of the mathematical model.The safe operation time can be increased by increasing mud amount or reducing mud density appropriately.With this model,the safe time of“Hang's Mudding-off”operation can be calculated accurately.This research result is of great significance to avoiding well control risk of absorption wells,optimizing the“Hang's Mudding-off”technique and reducing project cost. 展开更多

Background HIRFL is a heavy ion accelerator built by the Institute of Modern Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences,which constitutes a total length of over 900 m by the SFC,SSC,CSRm,CSRe and so on.It bears a lot of research task of the country,so to ensure its safe operation is very important.Purpose Cool-water system is a key part in HIRFL,and the parameters of the cool-water system need to be monitored before an accident occurs.Methods This article describes three aspects of the system,from the water leakage detection,pressure monitoring,to the water-level monitoring.A complete monitor system was designed and constructed,including the hardware structure;the data transfer mode,as well as specific control program.C++,FLASH and SCADA are used in the monitoring system.Results Fault alarm was performed timely and accurately by the monitoring system,and many accidents were avoided.Conclusion Water system monitoring is an important part of the accelerator control system.It will also play a major role in the construction of large-scale scientific device named HIAF in the further. 展开更多

The integration of numerous distributed energy resources and power electronic devices introduces a wide spectrum of frequency disturbances,which significantly challenge the stability of modern power systems.Therefore,there is an urgent need to enhance the current monitoring level of modern power systems.This paper proposes a novel busbar current inversion scheme based on an elliptical magnetic sensor array.By establishing a simulation model,the effect of structural parameters of the elliptical array on its current measurement accuracy was analysed.The anti-interference capability of the elliptical array in complex environments such as busbar displacement and crosstalk was studied,and principles for designing array parameters under different current sensor standards were established.Experiments conducted on the proposed current sensing scheme demon-strated that the designed current array has a range of 0-150 A,with a current mea-surement error below 0.1% without external interference and not exceeding 1%during busbar displacement.Under conditions of crosstalk,the measurement accuracy achieved was class 0.5.The sensor array possesses high measurement accuracy,robust anti-interference capability,low power consumption,compact size and a noncontact nature.It exhibits significant potential for extensive application in novel business scenarios within the power system. 展开更多
