The effects of large dose methylcobalamin injection on diabetic peripheral neuropathy in patients were observed to observe the subjective symptom of diabetic perpheral neuropathy (DPN) patients and detect the motor nerve conduction velocity (MCV) and sense nerve conduction velocity (SCV). Fifteen patients were received large dose methylcobalamin injection for two weeks as treatment group, another eleven patients were received muscular injection VitB1 100mg/ d, VitB12 500ug/ d for two weeks as control group. After 2 weeks treatment the subjective symptoms and signs were significantly improved with a total effective rate of 82.9% in the treatment group however the effective rate only has 52.0% in the control group. The result has obvious difference in statistics nerve MCV in median common peroneal nerve, SCV in median and superficial peroneal nerve were improved significantly in the treatment group and no such changes were observed in the control group. So, large dose methylcobalamin is an effective and safe agent for treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. 展开更多

A survey involving 6103 participants from five Chinese provinces was conducted to evaluate the threshold value of urinary cadmium (UCd) for renal dysfunction as benchmark dose low (BMDL). The urinary N-acetyl-13-D-glucosaminidase (UNAG) was chosen as an effect biomarker. The UCd BMDLs for UNAG ranged from 2.18μg/g creatinine (cr) to 4.26μg/g cr in the populations of different provinces. The selection of the sample population and area affect the evaluation of the BMDL. The reference level of UCd for renal effects was further evaluated based on the data of all 6103 subjects. With benchmark responses (BMR) of 10%/5%, the overall UCd BMDLs for males in the total population were 3.73/2.08 μg/g cr. The BMD was slightly lower in females, thereby indicating that females may be relatively more sensitive to Cd exposure than are males. 展开更多

Objective: to investigate the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of 90 SR-90Y application in the treatment of scar hyperplasia. Methods: 366 patients were treated with high dose (60-90) Gy90 SR-90Y for 1 to 4 courses, and the therapeutic effect was observed. The results showed: that the cure rate of 1 course was 25%. The cure rate of 2 ~ 3 courses is up to 80.6%. The total effective rate was 100% and the cure rate was 90.2% after 4 courses of treatment. None of the treated patients had serious adverse consequences and toxic side effects. Conclusion: a large dose of 90SR-90Y can be used as one of the effective treatment methods for scar hyperplasia, which is painless, with high cure rate and low recurrence rate. 展开更多
