Double-walled carbon nanotube (DWCNT) macro-films with large areas, excellent flexibility and superhydrophobicity are reported. The area of the macro-film is larger than 30 cm×15 cm, and this large film can be bended, or folded without any damage, and even can be tailored freely. After a simple modification of perfluoroalkysilane, the surface of the macro-film shows excellent superhydrophobicity with a water contact angle of 165.74-2 deg. and sliding angle lower than 3 deg., the prepared superhydrophobic films showing excellent antifouling, self-cleaning and water-repellent functions. The topographic roughness and perfluoroalkysilane modification are found to contribute to the observed superhydrophobicity. Considering the outstanding electronic, chemical and mechanical properties of DWCNTs, it is expected that this multifunctional DWCNT macro-film has potential applications in many fields. 展开更多

AIM: To evaluate the outcomes of trabeculectomy with large area mitomycin-C(MMC) application as a first line treatment in advanced glaucoma. ·METHODS: The records of 55 patients with severe visual field defects undergoing trabeculectomy were retrospectively reviewed. The patients were classified as first-line therapy to either early trabeculectomy(initial trabeculectomy-Group 1) or long term medical therapy followed by trabeculectomy(primary trabeculectomy-Group 2). Trabeculectomy was performed with large-area MMC application. Intraocular pressure(IOP) values,visual acuities,mean deviations,morphology and function of the blebs,necessity for anti-glaucomatous medications and surgical complications were reported. ·RESULTS: There were 20 eyes of 18 patients in Group 1 and 37 eyes of 37 patients in Group 2. The mean preoperative IOPs in Groups 1 and 2 were 40.2±10.0mmHg(27-68mmHg) and 29.0±4.4mmHg(21-41mmHg),respectively(P=0.001). Average preoperative mean deviations(MD) in Groups 1 and 2 were 17.4±2.8dB(13.3-23dB) and 17.9± 2.4dB(13.7-23.2dB),respectively(P=0.441). Postoperative IOPs significantly decreased and were comparable in both Groups. The mean number of medications was significantly higher in Group 2(P =0.005). No cystic bleb formation was observed in Group 1,whereas 4 patients from Group 2(10.8%) developed cystic bleb(P =0.040). No visually devastating complication has occurred in both Groups. ·CONCLUSION: Initial trabeculectomy with large areaMMC application might be applied in patients with advanced glaucoma with low complication rates. Long-term topically applied anti-glaucomatous medications seem to increase the risk of cystic bleb formation. 展开更多

We fabricate flexible conductive and transparent graphene films on position-emission-tomography substrates and prepare large area graphene films by graphite oxide sheets with the new technical process. The multi-layer graphene oxide sheets can be chemically reduced by HNO3 and HI to form a highly conductive graphene film on a substrate at lower temperature. The reduced graphene oxide sheets show a high conductivity sheet with resistance of 476Ω/sq and transmittance of 76% at 550nm (6 layers). The technique used to produce the transparent conductive graphene thin film is facile, inexpensive, and can be tunable for a large area production applied for electronics or touch screens. 展开更多

Through installing several linear plasma sources in parallel or adopting the so-called roll-to-roll (air-to-air) process, scale uniform linear plasma sources were realized and successfully applied to the deposition of large area uniform dielectric thin films, Furthermore, the magnetic field system can effectively reduce the recombination losses on the wall of the vacuum chamber and enhance the plasma density. Linear plasma sources with approximately one square meter deposition area with the plasma density of 1011 cm 3 have been developed, some of which have been used for the deposition of dielectric layers and large area plasma etching. 展开更多

In designing efficient perovskite solar cells(PSCs),the selection of suitable electron transport layers(ETLs)is critical to the final device performance as they determine the driving force for selective charge extraction.SnO_(2)nanoparticles(NPs)based ETLs have been a popular choice for PSCs due to superior electron mobility,but their relatively deep-lying conduction band energy levels(ECB)result in substantial potential loss.Meanwhile,TiO_(2)NPs establish favorable band alignment owing to shallower ECB,but their low intrinsic mobility and abundant surface trap sites impede the final performance.For this reason,constructing a cascaded bilayer ETL is highly desirable for efficient PSCs,as it can rearrange energy levels and exploit on advantages of an individual ETL.In this study,we prepare SnO_(2)NPs and acetylacetone-modified TiO_(2)(Acac-TiO_(2))NPs and implement them as bilayer SnO_(2)/Acac-TiO_(2)(BST)ETL,to assemble cascaded energy band structure.SnO_(2)contributes to rapid charge carrier transport from high electron mobility while Acac-TiO_(2)minimizes band-offset and effectively suppresses interfacial recombination.Accordingly,the optimized BST ETL generates synergistic influence and delivers power conversion efficiency(PCE)as high as 23.14%with open-circuit voltage(V_(oc))reaching 1.14 V.Furthermore,the BST ETL is transferred to a large scale and the corresponding mini module demonstrates peak performance of 18.39%PCE from 25 cm^(2)aperture area.Finally,the BST-based mini module exhibit excellent stability,maintaining 83.1%of its initial efficiency after 1000 h under simultaneous 1 Sun light-soaking and damp heat(85℃/RH 85%)environment. 展开更多

Application of Frontotemporal Expanded Flap with Bilateral Superficial temporal vessels in Repair of Large Area Scar Contracture in Face and Neck

Objective To summarize the clinical experience of frontotemporal expanded flap with bilateral superficial temporal vessels in repairing large area scar contracture in face and neck.Methods 14 patients with facial and Cervical scar contracture in our hospital were taken as the research object.With bilateral superficial temporal vessels as pedicles,a 400-600 ml skin dilator was inserted into the forehead and 50-100 ml skin dilator was inserted into the two temporal parts respectively.Within 3-4 months,the water injection volume reaches 2 times of the dilator volume.After maintaining for one month,skin flap transplantation was performed.The frontal flap was reserved for hairline reconstruction,and the flap was cut to cover the area after facial and Cervical scar release to reconstruct the jaw-neck angle.The pedicle division and pedicle trimming were performed 3-4 weeks after operation.Results All the 14 patients completed the operation successfully.The flap expansion time is 5-6 months.The expanded skin flap covers an area of 26 cm×9 cm-42 cm×16 cm,and all the skin flaps survived after operation.Among them,2 patients suffered from flap congestion after flap transplantation.Follow-up for 6-12 months showed that the color and texture of the skin flap were similar to those of facial skin,with natural transition and no obvious bloating.The angle between the lower jaw and the neck is about 90.The anterior flexion,posterior extension,lateral flexion and rotation of the neck are obviously improved compared with the anterior,and the posterior extension is close to normal.Conclusion Frontotemporal expanded flap with bilateral superficial temporal vessels is suitable for patients with large-area scar contracture in face and neck that cannot be repaired after expansion of adjacent local normal tissues. 展开更多

There has been growing research interest in the use of molybdenum disulfide in the fields of optoelectronics and energy harvesting devices, by virtue of its indirect-to-direct band gap tunability. However, obtaining large area thin films of MoS2 for future device applications still remains a challenge. In the present study, the amounts of the precursors (S and MOO3) were varied systematically in order to optimize the growth of highly crystalline and large area MoS2 layers by the chemical vapor deposition method. Careful control of the amounts of precursors was found to the key factor in the synthesis of large area highly crystalline flakes. The thickness of the layers was confirmed by Raman spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy. The optical properties and chemical composition were studied by photoluminescence (PL) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The emergence of strong direct excitonic emissions at 1.82 eV (A-exciton, with a normalized PL intensity of -55 × 10^3) and 1.98 eV (B-exciton, with a normalized PL intensity of -5 × 10^3) of the sample at room temperature clearly indicates the high luminescence quantum efficiency. The mobility of the films was found to be 0.09 cm^2/(V.s) at room temperature. This study provides a method for the controlled synthesis of high-quality two-dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenide materials, useful for applications in nanodevices, optoelectronics and solar energv conversion. 展开更多

Transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)have emerged as a promising electrocatalyst for hydrogen evo-lution reaction(HER)due to its excellent conductivity and abundant electrocatalytic active sites of its edges.TMDs nanowall can expose abundant of edges so that they tend to show better catalytic performance for hydrogen evolution reaction.Herein,PtSe_(2) nanowall films with morphology controlled at centimeters level are synthesized by selenizing Pt film.The dynamic and thermodynamics of selenation reaction are investigated.The nanowall structure can be obtained by controlling the growth temperature,and the thickness of nanowall can be tuned by the original thickness of Pt film.The Pt atoms can be rearranged into ordered distribution at 550℃ and can be induced to well-ordered PtSe_(2) nanowalls finally.The well-ordered PtSe_(2) nanowall films show excellent HER performance,with an overpotential of 0.3 V at-10 mA·cm^(-2) and a Tafel slope of~52 mV·dec^(-1).This work demonstrates the great potential of activated 2D PtSe_(2) as an ultrathin film catalyst for the HER,which is valuable to provide instruction and afford experience for further application at industrial level. 展开更多

The recent dramatic rise in power conversion efficiencies(PCE)of perovskite solar cells has triggered intense research worldwide.However,their practical development is hampered by poor stability and low PCE values with large areas devices.Here,we developed a gas-pumping method to avoid pinholes and eliminate local structural defects over large areas of perovskite film,even for 5 × 5 cm^2 modules,the PCE reached 10.6%and no significant degradation was found after 140 days of outdoor testing.Our approach enables the realization of high performance large-area PSCs for practical application. 展开更多

Conventional organic solar cell's (OSC) architectures, including rigid transparent substrate (Glass), conductive electrode (Indium tin oxide, ITO) and small working areas, are widely utilized in organic photovoltaic fields. However, such a structure as well as conventional spin-coating method obviously restrict their industrial application. In this article, we report the deposition of silver nanowires (AgNWs) on the flexible substrate by slot-die printing. The obtained AgNWs films exhibited a high transmittance and a low resistance, and were further used as the transparent conductive electrode ofOSCs. A typical conjugated polymer, poly[(2-5-bis(2-hexyldecyloxy)phenylene)-alt-(5,6-difluoro-4,7-di(thiophen-2-yl)benzo[c] [1,2,5]thiadiazole)] (PPDT2FBT), was used as the active material to fabricate large-area (7 cm2) solar cells by a slot-die coating process. The power conversion efficiency (PCE) could reach 1.87% initially and further increased to 3.04% by thermal annealing. Compared to the performance of reference cell on ITO substrate, the result indicated that the AgNWs could be developed as an alternative substitute of conductive electrode to fabricate the large-area flexible OSCs by roll-to-roll printing. 展开更多

By tilting a plasma jet and rotating 360°,a large-area can be scanned and sterilized in a short time.Compared with the previous array device,this pipe has the significant advantages of high sterilization uniformity and low gas consumption.Firstly,a rotatable plasma jet device,which can control the swing and rotation of a jet pipe,is designed,and a corresponding theoretical model is established to guide the experiment.Secondly,with Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus)and Escherichia coli(E.coli)as the target bacteria,the device achieves a short sterilization time of 158 s—the minimum sterilization flow of S.aureus and E.coli is 0.8 slm and 0.6 slm,respectively.The device is compared with an array plasma sterilization device in terms of sterilization speed and gas consumption.The results show that the device is not only better than an array plasma sterilization device with respect to scanning uniformity,but also far less than the array plasma sterilization device in gas consumption of 5 slm.Therefore,the device has great potential in applications involving efficient,large-area sterilization. 展开更多

Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have attracted significant research interest due to the rapid rise in efficiency.However,a large efficiency gap still exists between laboratory-based small devices and industrialoriented large-scale modules.One of the main reasons for the efficiency losses is the degraded quality and morphology of the deposited large-area films,which is closely associated with crystallization processes.In this review,we discuss the nucleation and crystallization processes in solution and vaporbased up-scaling deposition methods for large-area perovskite films.We review recent scientific achievements and technical developments that have been made in the field of large-area cells.We present the existing problems that limit the performance of large devices and extensively discuss the key influencing parameters from the perspective of nucleation and crystallization over large areas.This review highlights the importance of crystallization control in up-scaling fabrications and presents promising strategies towards large-area perovskite-based optoelectronic devices. 展开更多

From the point of spatio-temporal changes of ecological system type,function and value,in Menglian county,land using/cover data was based on three Landsat TM images(respectively obtained in2000,2005,2010 and 2015) which were interpreted as basic information sources by using RS and GIS technology and then revising ecosystem service value per unit area in Menglian county.This paper has researched on the changes of ecosystem service value of economic garden for large area planting as well as evaluated ecosystem service value scientifically in Menglian county combined with the sensitivity analysis.The Results showed that:(1) In Menglian county,from 2000 to 2015,land use pattern manifested as the transformation from large areas of cultivated land,forest land and shrub to the economic landscape,the economic landscape is increased by 24458.31 hm^2,however,farm land,wood land and shrub are reduced by 24865.74 hm2 in total;(2) Changes of ecosystem service value is closely related to economic landscape development in Menglian county.The situation of ecosystem service value shows the changing trend from improvement to severity in 2000-2015.ESV is increased by 96.39 million yuan from 2000 to2005,whose annual growth rate is about 0.56%·a^(-1).But in the year of 2005 to 2015,ESV is reduced by120.23 million yuan and annual reduced rate is about 0.34%·a^(-1);(3) In Menglian county,the main ecological system is the woodland ecological system,the primary ecosystem service functions are biodiversity protection,gas regulation,soil formation and retention,climate regulation and water supply,the ecological benefit were decreased in 2000-2015;(4) From the aspect of space distribution,ecosystem service value in Menglian county is relatively high in the central area and relatively not high in the western and eastern area.ESV(yuan·hm`(-2)) was changed obvious,Gongxin town trended to decline,other towns increased first the then reduced.The temporal and spatial variation of ecosystem service value in Menglian county is affected by natural and human factors.The key to the development of economic landscape is rational land use according to the practical situation,which can create economic value and also keep its ecological value. 展开更多

Developing efficient oxygen evolution reaction(OER) electrocatalysts such as transition metal sulfides(TMSs) is of great importance to advance renewable hydrogen fuel toward further practical applications.Herein,NiCoS_(2) nanoparticles well decorated on double-sided N-doped reduced graphene oxide sheets(NiCoS_(2)/rGO) are prepared from an Al-containing ternary NiCoAl-layered double hydroxide precursor(NiCoAl-LDH) grown on GO support as an OER electrocatalyst.The Al-confinementassisted sulfurization,followed by selective acid treatment,endows the resulting NiCoS_(2)/rGO composite with the advantages:well-dispersed NiCoS_(2) nanoparticles,dualsided rGO support,as well as a large specific surface area of 119.4 m^(2)·g^(-1) and meso-/macroporous size distribution.The NiCoS_(2)/rGO electrocatalyst exhibits an overpotential of 273 mV at 10 mA·cm^(-2) and a good stability of 24 h,which outperform those of the counterparts of NiS_(2)/rGO and CoS_(2)/rGO.The results of electrochemical active surface area and electrochemical impedance spectra experimentally provide convincing rationales of the information of active sites and good conductivity,both underpin the enhanced electrocatalytic performances. 展开更多

Mussel aquaculture and large yellow croaker aquaculture areas and their environmental characteristics in Zhoushan were analyzed using satellite data and in-situ surveys.A new two-step remote sensing method was proposed and applied to determine the basic environmental characteristics of the best mussel and large yellow croaker aquaculture areas.This methodology includes the first step of extraction of the location distribution and the second step of the extraction of internal environmental factors.The fishery ranching index(FRI1,FRI2)was established to extract the mussel and the large yellow croaker aquaculture area in Zhoushan,using Gaofen-1(GF-1)and Gaofen-6(GF-6)satellite data with a special resolution of 2 m.In the second step,the environmental factors such as sea surface temperature(SST),chlorophyll a(Chl-a)concentration,current and tide,suspended sediment concentration(SSC)in mussel aquaculture area and large yellow croaker aquaculture area were extracted and analyzed in detail.The results show the following three points.(1)For the extraction of the mussel aquaculture area,FRI1 and FRI2 are complementary,and the combination of FRI1 and FRI2 is suitable to extract the mussel aquaculture area.As for the large yellow croaker aquaculture area extraction,FRI2 is suitable.(2)Mussel aquaculture and the large yellow croaker aquaculture area in Zhoushan are mainly located on the side near the islands that are away from the eastern open waters.The water environment factor template suitable for mussel and large yellow croaker aquaculture was determined.(3)This two-step remote sensing method can be used for the preliminary screening of potential site selection for the mussels and large yellow croaker aquaculture area in the future.the fishery ranching index(FRI1,FRI2)in this paper can be applied to extract the mussel and large yellow croaker aquaculture areas in coastal waters around the world. 展开更多

A novel three-ring-core few-mode fiber with large effective area and low nonlinear coefficient is proposed in this paper. The fiber characteristics based on the full-vector finite element method(FEM) with perfect matched layer boundary conditions show that four supermodes with large effective area, low nonlinear coefficient and low differential mode group delay(DMGD) are achieved. With the increase of input wavelength, the effective areas of three-ring-core few-mode fiber are increased, and the nonlinear coefficients are decreased. The bending losses are increased with the increase of input wavelength, and are decreased with the increase of bending radius. Moreover, the proposed fiber performs a nonlinear coefficient and DMGD flattened profile at a large wavelength range. 展开更多
