Regressive formulae to calculate the quantity of plant leaf area for 13 species of ornamental plants were set up based on investigation data of 30 species on 3 major public squares (Dongfeng square, Shengli square and...Regressive formulae to calculate the quantity of plant leaf area for 13 species of ornamental plants were set up based on investigation data of 30 species on 3 major public squares (Dongfeng square, Shengli square and Guandu square) in Kun-ming City, China, which were applied to calculate quantities of plant leaf area of these 13 species. The quantities of plant leaf area for the other 17 ornamental plant species on these squares were directly measured, and the total quantity of plant leaf area of each studied square was obtained individually. The results showed that the quantity of plant leaf area on Shengli square with ornamental plants structure composed of arbor tree species, shrub tree species and turf grass was highest among the three squares. It is believed that the design model of multi-storied vertical structure and proper tending of plant community could not only increase the quantity of plant leaf area, but also play an important role in generating ecological and landscaping benefits. Some corresponding suggestions were put forward on the basis of comprehensive analyses on the plant leaf area quantity of the three representative squares in Kunming urban area.展开更多

In the present study, we investigated spatial...Objective Numerous studies have described both motor defects and cognitive impairments in several strains of rodents following 3-nitropropionic acid (3-NP) intoxication. In the present study, we investigated spatial recognition memory in Kunming mice that just recovered from motor defects induced by 3-NP. Methods Mouse model was made by systemic subacute 3-NP treatment, and spatial recognition memory was measured through the Y-maze Test, a simple two-trial recognition test. Results (1) On day 15 following 3-NP treatment, affected Kunming mice did not show motor defects in the Rotarod test and presented normal gait again. (2) In the following Y-maze test after lh interval, the percentage (90.0%) of mice showing novel ann preference in 3-NP treatment group was significantly higher than the random chance level (50%), although it was only slightly higher than that (83.3%) in control group. On day 45 after 3-NP treatment, mice failed to choose unfamiliar novel arm as first choice, and the same occured in the control group. (3) For both post-intoxicated (on day 15 and day 45 following 3-NP treatment) and control groups, the duration in the novel ann and the frequency of entering it, were longer and higher compared with familiar start and other arms. For these mice that recently recovered from motor defects following 3-NP intoxication, no spatial memory deficits were observed through Y-maze Test. Conclusion Kunming mice used in our assays might possess resistance to cognitive impairment induced by 3-NP, which is consistent with previous findings in Swiss EPM-M1 mice.展开更多

The discovery and research of this fauna is of great significance in understading the 'Cambrian Explosion' and the evolution of early life. The occurrence of vetulicoliids from the Guanshan Fauna not only adds new members to the taxonomic list, but also provides new information to the evolution of this animal group. This paper describe Vetulicola gantoucunensis Luo, Fu et Hu sp. nov. from the Lower Cambrian Wulongqing Formation in the Kunming area. Also presented are the amended description of Vetulicola and the comparisons with related genera within Vetulicoliids. The affinity, distribution, as well as evolution of vetulicoliids are discussed.展开更多

After classifying them with a communication research method-the content analysis, a data bank for SPSS is set up, and a mathematic model called the Integrated Impact Index of Expo '99 Kunming is constituted. With the model, the spatial distribution of the total integrated impacts of Expo '99 Kunming on the regions or cities with different regional scales is analysed quantitatively. The conclusions are: 1) the Expo '99 Kunming made obvious integrated impacts on the regions or cities of every scale, especially in the venue city and the region-Kunming City and Yunnan Province; 2) it had corresponding impacts on other provinces; 3) the spatial distribution of Integrated Impact Index had a disaggregation with both plane extension and spotted decentralization; and 4) there was a distance decay law in all three scales of regions (Kunming City, Yunnan Province and the whole China), which incarnated the spatial extension law of the integrated impact of a special mega-event.展开更多

This paper reports and describes a new arthropod from the yellowish green mudstone at the lower part of the Wulongqing Formation, Canglangpuan Stage, Lower Cambrian in Kunming, Yunnan, China. The stratigraphic and geographic distribution, classification, fossil preservation, life style of this new arthropod and comparisons with other fossil arthropods are also discussed in details. The discovery and research of the non-mineralized arthropod, Guangweicaris Luo, Fu et Hu gen. nov. from the Guanshan Fauna adds new members to the taxonomic list and provides new information to the evolution of early arthropods. Furthermore, this study would shed new light into the "Cambrian Explosion" and the evolution of early life.展开更多

Background:Porcine pancreatic elastase(PPE)is successfully used to induce abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA)in mice.However,differences between mouse strains in susceptibility to PPE induction have been reported.Kunming m...Background:Porcine pancreatic elastase(PPE)is successfully used to induce abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA)in mice.However,differences between mouse strains in susceptibility to PPE induction have been reported.Kunming mouse is one of the most frequently used strains in China but whether it is suitable for induction of AAA by PPE application remains unclear.Methods:PPE infusion(1.5 units/ml)in temporary controlled aorta was performed to induce AAAs in both C57BL/6J and Kunming mice.Phosphatebuffered saline(PBS)application was used as vehicle control.The aorta diameters of all mice were measured at days 0 and 14 after surgery to evaluate the AAA formation.Results:After 14 days of PPE or PBS infusion,all mice were sacrificed and aorta tissues were collected for histological staining analysis.At the 14th day after infusion,PPE successfully induced aortic dilation in Kunming mice and typical AAA in C57BL/6J mice.The aorta diameter increased by 0.23 mm in Kunming mice after PPE infusion,while it was 0.72 mm in the C57BL/6J strain.PPE induced mild elastin degradation,smooth muscle cell(SMC)depletion and mural leucocyte infiltration in Kunming mice,but in PPE-sensitive C57BL/6J mice,it induced total loss of SMCs,elastin disappearance and diffused infiltrated leucocytes in aortic aneurysmal segments.The effects of PPE in inducing angiogenesis and upregulating matrix metalloproteinase 2 and 9 expression in Kunming mice were also weaker than that in C57BL/6J mice.Conclusion:At the reported dose of PPE,Kunming mouse is not as susceptible to AAA formation as C57BL/6J mice.The failure of PPE to induce AAA formation in Kunming mice may be associated to its inability to boost a strong inflammatory response.展开更多
AIM To evaluate the immunity of chemically modified tumor cell vaccine.METHODS Tumor cell vaccines (TCV) were prepared by incubating the live Ehrlich ascites tumor cells with concanavalin A-mitomycin C (ConA-MMC), mit...AIM To evaluate the immunity of chemically modified tumor cell vaccine.METHODS Tumor cell vaccines (TCV) were prepared by incubating the live Ehrlich ascites tumor cells with concanavalin A-mitomycin C (ConA-MMC), mitomycin C (MMC), concanavalin A-glutaraldehyde (ConA-Glu), glutaraldehyde (Glu), or paraformaldehyde (Para), respectively. The whole cell or soluble forms of the vaccines were administered intraperitoneally into Kunming mice once a week for three times prior to the intraperitoneal inoculation of a lethal dose of live tumor cells. A second challenge with live tumor cells was given four weeks later. Survival and antibody production of the mice were analyzed.RESULTS After the first challenge, the mice, received whole TCV of ConA-MMC, MMC (P<0.01) and Glu (P<0.05) promoted survival incidence than the controls. All the treated mice had the survival time prolonged. ConA-MMC vaccine treated mice had longer survival days than that of ConA-Glu ones (P<0.05). For the soluble TCV immunized mice, those treated with vaccines of Para (P<0.01), ConA-Para and ConA-Glu (P<0.05) had longer survival periods compared with that of the controls. Following the second challenge, survival incidence of the mice received vaccines of ConA-MMC, MMC, ConA-Glu or Glu was significantly increased (P<0.01). Moreover, all the treated mice had the survival time prolonged, and ConA-MMC vaccine treated mice had longer survival days than that of Para treated ones (P<0.05). Antibodies against Ehrlich ascites tumor cells were found to be positive in sera of the mice treated with whole TCV of ConA-MMC.CONCLUSION Ehrlich ascites tumor cells are immunogenic when treated with ConA-MMC, MMC, ConA-Glu, Glu or Para, which might act as safe and effective tumor vaccines with safety and effectiveness.展开更多

Methods Electrocar...Objective To investigate the alterations of cardiac electrophysiological properties and substantial mechanism and find the stable arrhythmia mouse model in Kunming (KM) and C57BL6/J (C57) mice. Methods Electrocardiogram recordings were used to analyze the QT interval in vivo, and mono- phasic action potential of right and left ventricular epicardium was recorded to elicit changes of action potential duration (APD) in conventional and programmed electrical stimulation (PES). Transient outward potassium current (Its,) was recorded via whole-cell patch-clamp technique in single right and left epicardial myocytes. Results QT interval was prolonged in KM mice relative to C57 mice (62.51±4.47 ms vs. 52.59±4.85 ms, P〈0.05). The APD at 50% repolarization of the left ventricular epicardium (18.60±0.91 ms vs. 12.90±0.35 ms), and APDs at 50% (17.31±6.05 ms vs. 12.00±3.24 ms) and 70% repolarization (36.13±5.32 ms vs. 2 1.95±8.06 ms) of the right ventricular epicardium in KM mice were significantly pro- longed compared with C57 mice, respectively (all P〈0.05). KM mice were more sensitive to PES-induced ventricular tachycardia (25%, 3 of 12 hearts), and especially to Burst-induced ventricular tachycardia (50%, 6 of 12 hearts) compared with C57 mice, which were 20% (2 of 10 hearts) and 30% (3 of 10 hearts) respec- tively. It,, densities both in the left and right ventricular epicardial myocytes from KM mice were significantly decreased compared with C57 mice, respectively (all P〈0.01). Conclusion Our data showed that KM mice with tile prolonged QT interval and APD are ruiner- abilities to ventricular arrhythmia, which are attributed to lower Ito densities in ventricular myocytes ob- tained from KM mice than that from C57 mice.展开更多

[Method] The suitability model of broad bean growth and development was established, involving temperature, rainfal , and sunshine, with consideration of bioecology characters of broad beans, in order to make further analysis of suitability of meteorological factors. [Result] Under average climate condition, temperature and sunshine suitability kept higher in the whole growth stage, but rainfal suitability was lower. Hence, lower temperature and insufficient rainfal are limiting factors of broad bean yield. Based on analysis of meteorological factors in 2013, it suggested that temperature and sunshine suitability kept higher in 2013, but rainfal suitability only reached over 0.6 in seedling stage, with rest below. [Conclusion] In the whole growth stage of broad bean in 2013, comprehensive meteorological factors kept middle or higher level and the suitability model reflects suitability of meteorological factors to crops in an objective way, which provides references for improving meteorological services.展开更多

[ Method ] The prevention and treatment tests were conducted with Kunming mice weighing about 18 -22 g. In the prevention test, Kunming mice were inocu- lated with Streptococcus suis serotype II and simultaneously taken orally 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 g/ml Chinese herbal preparation Yinqiaotiangan respectively for continu- ous 3 d, once a day; the incidence rate, mortality rate and protective rate were detected after 7 d. In the treatment test, Kunming mice were inoculated with Strepto- coccus suis serotype II to establish the Streptococcus suis serotype II pathogenic model, and then taken orally 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 g/ml Chinese herbal preparation Yin- qiaotiangan respectively for continuous 3 d, twice a day; the mortality rate, cure rate and effective rate were detected after 7 d. [ Result ] Results of the prevention test showed that the protective rate in experimental groups was extremely significantly higher than that in control group (P 〈0.01 ), while the incidence rate and mortality rate were extremely significantly lower than that in control group (P 〈0.01 ). Results of the treatment test showed that the incidence rate in experimental groups was extremely significantly lower than that in control group (P 〈0.01 ), the cure rate in 0.5 g/ml group was extremely significantly higher than that in 1.0 g/ml group and 2.0 g/ml group (P 〈 0.01 ), the effective rate in 0.5 g/ml group was significantly higher than that in 1.0 g/ml group and 2.0 g/ml group ( P 〈 0.05 ), with no significant difference from the positive group (P 〉 0.05 ). [ Conclusion ] The pathologic model of Streptococcus su/s serotype II could be effec- tively prevented and treated by oral intake of low dose of Chinese herbal preparation Yinqiaotiangan in Kunming mice.展开更多

文摘Objective Numerous studies have described both motor defects and cognitive impairments in several strains of rodents following 3-nitropropionic acid (3-NP) intoxication. In the present study, we investigated spatial recognition memory in Kunming mice that just recovered from motor defects induced by 3-NP. Methods Mouse model was made by systemic subacute 3-NP treatment, and spatial recognition memory was measured through the Y-maze Test, a simple two-trial recognition test. Results (1) On day 15 following 3-NP treatment, affected Kunming mice did not show motor defects in the Rotarod test and presented normal gait again. (2) In the following Y-maze test after lh interval, the percentage (90.0%) of mice showing novel ann preference in 3-NP treatment group was significantly higher than the random chance level (50%), although it was only slightly higher than that (83.3%) in control group. On day 45 after 3-NP treatment, mice failed to choose unfamiliar novel arm as first choice, and the same occured in the control group. (3) For both post-intoxicated (on day 15 and day 45 following 3-NP treatment) and control groups, the duration in the novel ann and the frequency of entering it, were longer and higher compared with familiar start and other arms. For these mice that recently recovered from motor defects following 3-NP intoxication, no spatial memory deficits were observed through Y-maze Test. Conclusion Kunming mice used in our assays might possess resistance to cognitive impairment induced by 3-NP, which is consistent with previous findings in Swiss EPM-M1 mice.

文摘The Guanshan Fauna, a soft-bodied fauna intermediate between the Chengjiang Fauna and the Kaili Fauna and also the Burgess Shale Fauna stratigraphically, consists of trilobites, trilobitoides, Tuzoia, Vetulicola, Paleoscolex, brachiopods and sponges. The discovery and research of this fauna is of great significance in understading the 'Cambrian Explosion' and the evolution of early life. The occurrence of vetulicoliids from the Guanshan Fauna not only adds new members to the taxonomic list, but also provides new information to the evolution of this animal group. This paper describe Vetulicola gantoucunensis Luo, Fu et Hu sp. nov. from the Lower Cambrian Wulongqing Formation in the Kunming area. Also presented are the amended description of Vetulicola and the comparisons with related genera within Vetulicoliids. The affinity, distribution, as well as evolution of vetulicoliids are discussed.
文摘Two new chordates, Cathaymyrus haikouensis Luo et Hu sp. nov. and Zhongxiniscus intermedius Luo et Hu gen. et sp. nov. are studied in this paper. Both display numerous S-shaped myomeres on their trunk. C. haikouensis shows a long and slim body similar to that of Cathaymyrus diadexus Shu et al., Zhongxiniscus approaches to Myllokunmingia and Haikouichthys in the dorsal fin, but differs in the myomeres. Zhongxiniscus may be the intermediate form between Cathaymyrus and Myllokunmingia and Haikouichthys.

文摘Taking the affinity between events and media as a conceptualization base, a total of 1032 related news re-ports of Expo '99 Kunming, gathered from the internet data bank of China INFOBANK from 1992 to 2003, are used as data sources. After classifying them with a communication research method-the content analysis, a data bank for SPSS is set up, and a mathematic model called the Integrated Impact Index of Expo '99 Kunming is constituted. With the model, the spatial distribution of the total integrated impacts of Expo '99 Kunming on the regions or cities with different regional scales is analysed quantitatively. The conclusions are: 1) the Expo '99 Kunming made obvious integrated impacts on the regions or cities of every scale, especially in the venue city and the region-Kunming City and Yunnan Province; 2) it had corresponding impacts on other provinces; 3) the spatial distribution of Integrated Impact Index had a disaggregation with both plane extension and spotted decentralization; and 4) there was a distance decay law in all three scales of regions (Kunming City, Yunnan Province and the whole China), which incarnated the spatial extension law of the integrated impact of a special mega-event.

文摘The Guanshan Fauna is a soft-bodied fauna dominated by arthropods (including trilobites, trilobitoides, Tuzoia, Isoxys, and bradorids) in association with priapulids, brachiopods, anomalocaridids, vetulicoliids, sponges, chancellorids, and echinoderms. This paper reports and describes a new arthropod from the yellowish green mudstone at the lower part of the Wulongqing Formation, Canglangpuan Stage, Lower Cambrian in Kunming, Yunnan, China. The stratigraphic and geographic distribution, classification, fossil preservation, life style of this new arthropod and comparisons with other fossil arthropods are also discussed in details. The discovery and research of the non-mineralized arthropod, Guangweicaris Luo, Fu et Hu gen. nov. from the Guanshan Fauna adds new members to the taxonomic list and provides new information to the evolution of early arthropods. Furthermore, this study would shed new light into the "Cambrian Explosion" and the evolution of early life.

文摘As the only working dog independently developed and bred in China,Chinese Kunming dog(CKD)was approved as a new breed by the Chinese National Livestock and Poultry Genetics Commission in 2007.Now CKD is widely used by the Chinese army and police and has been exported to Singapore,Thailand,Vietnam,North Korea,and other more than 10 countries as working dog.Previously published studies of CKD have focused on coat color genetics(Wang et al.2013)and reproduction performance(Wei et al.2018).The study by Wang et al.(2013)pointed out that the breed of CKD was developed in the 1950s by hybridizing German shepherd dogs(GSDs)imported from the Soviet Union with Kunming indigenous village dogs.

文摘Background:Porcine pancreatic elastase(PPE)is successfully used to induce abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA)in mice.However,differences between mouse strains in susceptibility to PPE induction have been reported.Kunming mouse is one of the most frequently used strains in China but whether it is suitable for induction of AAA by PPE application remains unclear.Methods:PPE infusion(1.5 units/ml)in temporary controlled aorta was performed to induce AAAs in both C57BL/6J and Kunming mice.Phosphatebuffered saline(PBS)application was used as vehicle control.The aorta diameters of all mice were measured at days 0 and 14 after surgery to evaluate the AAA formation.Results:After 14 days of PPE or PBS infusion,all mice were sacrificed and aorta tissues were collected for histological staining analysis.At the 14th day after infusion,PPE successfully induced aortic dilation in Kunming mice and typical AAA in C57BL/6J mice.The aorta diameter increased by 0.23 mm in Kunming mice after PPE infusion,while it was 0.72 mm in the C57BL/6J strain.PPE induced mild elastin degradation,smooth muscle cell(SMC)depletion and mural leucocyte infiltration in Kunming mice,but in PPE-sensitive C57BL/6J mice,it induced total loss of SMCs,elastin disappearance and diffused infiltrated leucocytes in aortic aneurysmal segments.The effects of PPE in inducing angiogenesis and upregulating matrix metalloproteinase 2 and 9 expression in Kunming mice were also weaker than that in C57BL/6J mice.Conclusion:At the reported dose of PPE,Kunming mouse is not as susceptible to AAA formation as C57BL/6J mice.The failure of PPE to induce AAA formation in Kunming mice may be associated to its inability to boost a strong inflammatory response.
文摘AIM To evaluate the immunity of chemically modified tumor cell vaccine.METHODS Tumor cell vaccines (TCV) were prepared by incubating the live Ehrlich ascites tumor cells with concanavalin A-mitomycin C (ConA-MMC), mitomycin C (MMC), concanavalin A-glutaraldehyde (ConA-Glu), glutaraldehyde (Glu), or paraformaldehyde (Para), respectively. The whole cell or soluble forms of the vaccines were administered intraperitoneally into Kunming mice once a week for three times prior to the intraperitoneal inoculation of a lethal dose of live tumor cells. A second challenge with live tumor cells was given four weeks later. Survival and antibody production of the mice were analyzed.RESULTS After the first challenge, the mice, received whole TCV of ConA-MMC, MMC (P<0.01) and Glu (P<0.05) promoted survival incidence than the controls. All the treated mice had the survival time prolonged. ConA-MMC vaccine treated mice had longer survival days than that of ConA-Glu ones (P<0.05). For the soluble TCV immunized mice, those treated with vaccines of Para (P<0.01), ConA-Para and ConA-Glu (P<0.05) had longer survival periods compared with that of the controls. Following the second challenge, survival incidence of the mice received vaccines of ConA-MMC, MMC, ConA-Glu or Glu was significantly increased (P<0.01). Moreover, all the treated mice had the survival time prolonged, and ConA-MMC vaccine treated mice had longer survival days than that of Para treated ones (P<0.05). Antibodies against Ehrlich ascites tumor cells were found to be positive in sera of the mice treated with whole TCV of ConA-MMC.CONCLUSION Ehrlich ascites tumor cells are immunogenic when treated with ConA-MMC, MMC, ConA-Glu, Glu or Para, which might act as safe and effective tumor vaccines with safety and effectiveness.

文摘Objective To investigate the alterations of cardiac electrophysiological properties and substantial mechanism and find the stable arrhythmia mouse model in Kunming (KM) and C57BL6/J (C57) mice. Methods Electrocardiogram recordings were used to analyze the QT interval in vivo, and mono- phasic action potential of right and left ventricular epicardium was recorded to elicit changes of action potential duration (APD) in conventional and programmed electrical stimulation (PES). Transient outward potassium current (Its,) was recorded via whole-cell patch-clamp technique in single right and left epicardial myocytes. Results QT interval was prolonged in KM mice relative to C57 mice (62.51±4.47 ms vs. 52.59±4.85 ms, P〈0.05). The APD at 50% repolarization of the left ventricular epicardium (18.60±0.91 ms vs. 12.90±0.35 ms), and APDs at 50% (17.31±6.05 ms vs. 12.00±3.24 ms) and 70% repolarization (36.13±5.32 ms vs. 2 1.95±8.06 ms) of the right ventricular epicardium in KM mice were significantly pro- longed compared with C57 mice, respectively (all P〈0.05). KM mice were more sensitive to PES-induced ventricular tachycardia (25%, 3 of 12 hearts), and especially to Burst-induced ventricular tachycardia (50%, 6 of 12 hearts) compared with C57 mice, which were 20% (2 of 10 hearts) and 30% (3 of 10 hearts) respec- tively. It,, densities both in the left and right ventricular epicardial myocytes from KM mice were significantly decreased compared with C57 mice, respectively (all P〈0.01). Conclusion Our data showed that KM mice with tile prolonged QT interval and APD are ruiner- abilities to ventricular arrhythmia, which are attributed to lower Ito densities in ventricular myocytes ob- tained from KM mice than that from C57 mice.

文摘[Objective] The aim was to analyze the suitability of climatic factors for broad bean in Kunming. [Method] The suitability model of broad bean growth and development was established, involving temperature, rainfal , and sunshine, with consideration of bioecology characters of broad beans, in order to make further analysis of suitability of meteorological factors. [Result] Under average climate condition, temperature and sunshine suitability kept higher in the whole growth stage, but rainfal suitability was lower. Hence, lower temperature and insufficient rainfal are limiting factors of broad bean yield. Based on analysis of meteorological factors in 2013, it suggested that temperature and sunshine suitability kept higher in 2013, but rainfal suitability only reached over 0.6 in seedling stage, with rest below. [Conclusion] In the whole growth stage of broad bean in 2013, comprehensive meteorological factors kept middle or higher level and the suitability model reflects suitability of meteorological factors to crops in an objective way, which provides references for improving meteorological services.

文摘[ Objectlve] This study aimed to investigate the antimicrobial effect of Chinese herbal preparation Yinqiaotiangan against Streptococcus suis serotype II in vivo. [ Method ] The prevention and treatment tests were conducted with Kunming mice weighing about 18 -22 g. In the prevention test, Kunming mice were inocu- lated with Streptococcus suis serotype II and simultaneously taken orally 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 g/ml Chinese herbal preparation Yinqiaotiangan respectively for continu- ous 3 d, once a day; the incidence rate, mortality rate and protective rate were detected after 7 d. In the treatment test, Kunming mice were inoculated with Strepto- coccus suis serotype II to establish the Streptococcus suis serotype II pathogenic model, and then taken orally 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 g/ml Chinese herbal preparation Yin- qiaotiangan respectively for continuous 3 d, twice a day; the mortality rate, cure rate and effective rate were detected after 7 d. [ Result ] Results of the prevention test showed that the protective rate in experimental groups was extremely significantly higher than that in control group (P 〈0.01 ), while the incidence rate and mortality rate were extremely significantly lower than that in control group (P 〈0.01 ). Results of the treatment test showed that the incidence rate in experimental groups was extremely significantly lower than that in control group (P 〈0.01 ), the cure rate in 0.5 g/ml group was extremely significantly higher than that in 1.0 g/ml group and 2.0 g/ml group (P 〈 0.01 ), the effective rate in 0.5 g/ml group was significantly higher than that in 1.0 g/ml group and 2.0 g/ml group ( P 〈 0.05 ), with no significant difference from the positive group (P 〉 0.05 ). [ Conclusion ] The pathologic model of Streptococcus su/s serotype II could be effec- tively prevented and treated by oral intake of low dose of Chinese herbal preparation Yinqiaotiangan in Kunming mice.

文摘The subways or underground construction have been built nationwide in 25 cities.The pre-assess-ment and systematic planning are requested for building a new metro lines.The reason is the inevitability that new construction projects have to face the various difficulties and geological environment risks in accordance with their diverse urban geological environment under underground space development and construction.Taking the Kumming City planning as an example,the study assesses the suitability and analyzes its high risk factors on urban underground space development and utilization,using the extenics research methods under complex geological conditions.It would provide a reference to underground space development in the similar urban geological conditions.
文摘in this paper,effects of RE from different sources on the growth,development and endurance of Chinese kunming mice have been studied.The result indicates that the body and organ weights and endurance of the mice in group B(F.velutipes) are significantly increased over those in the control group(group E) after three weeks,and it also shows that the biological effects vary with the amount of RE in diet.Compared with group D(RE(NO3)3),group B has the same amount of RE in diet but the body and organ weights are much heavier,swimming time is increased by 28.6%,and the changes of blood sugar and serum lactic acid after swimming decrease notably.Thus,it can be found that F.velutipes rich in RE added in diet performs a positive function to promote the mouse growth,development and endurance,while the inorganic RE(NO3)3 fails on it,even inhibits their growth.
