Through observation, the basic patterns of meridians and acupoints can be understood. The theory of meridians and acupoints was formed based on the two speculation methods of analogy and reasoning, but speculation does not necessarily lead to truth. Another approach—holographic thinking—provides a new method of knowing the body.
