This study presents a new multiphase flow model with transient heat transfer and pressure coupling to simulate HTHP(high temperature and high pressure)sour gas“kicks”phenomena.The model is intended to support the estimation of wellbore temperature and pressure when sour gas kicks occur during drilling operation.The model considers sour gas solubility,phase transition and effects of temperature and pressure on the physical parameters of drilling fluid.Experimental data for a large-diameter pipe flow are used to validate the model.The results indicate that with fluid circulation,the annulus temperature with H2S kicks is the highest,followed by CO_(2),and CH_(4) is the lowest.The phase transition point of H2S is closer to wellhead compared with CO_(2),resulting in a faster expansion rate,which is more imperceptible and dangerous.With fluid circulation,the drilling fluid density and plastic viscosity both first decrease and then increase with the increase in the well depth.The bottom hole pressure when H2S kicks is greater than that for CO_(2) with the same amount of sour gas,and the pressure difference gradually increases with the increase of H2S/CO_(2) content.In addition,a parametric sensitivity analysis has been conducted to evaluate qualitatively and rank the influential factors affecting the bottom hole temperature and pressure. 展开更多

Time consumed to control the kicks will be different in depending on the controlling technique. Drilling fluid considered as a first barrier to control formation pressure and well kicks. Any advance in drilling fluids leads to more controlled operation in term of time. This paper will follow the general increasing profile of pressure before entering the reservoir. Both methods of well controlling technique;circulating techniques and non-circulating have been implemented in many oil blocks. The process of designing and casing selection, setting depth and many other issues is predominately dependent on the utilization of accurate values of formation pressure. Formation pressures used to design safe mud weights to overcome fracturing the formation and prevent well kicks. Hence the emphasis has been placed on the practical utilization of kicks pressure near the reservoir. The presented relationships will help the engineer to better understand lithological columns and reduce potential hole problems during the kick appearance. Selecting the best well controlling practical method can lead to not harming the reservoir and more production later. Changes in some drilling fluid properties have been proposed with increasing the depth without damaging the reservoir. Suggestions in relation to the casing setting point of the intermediate section are also proposed. Standard equations with proper modification for gases and safety margin have been proposed for the future drilling operation in oil fields above the reservoir. 展开更多

The gas kick represents a major risk in deepwater oil and gas exploration.Understanding the dynamics of gas kick evolution and the associated pressure response characteristics is critical for effective well control.In this paper,we introduce a transient wellbore multiphase flow model specifically developed to simulate gas kick in deepwater dual-gradient drilling,incorporating a downhole separator.The model accounts for the variable mass flow within the annulus and heat exchange between the annular fluid and the formation.Using this model,we analyzed the multiphase flow and thermodynamic behavior during the gas kick.Simulation results reveal a progressive increase in bottom-hole temperature,underscoring its potential as a key indicator for gas kick early detection.Additionally,variable gradient parameters affect not only the annular equivalent circulating density(ECD)profile but also the evolution of the gas kick.The inclusion of a downhole separator alters the annular ECD profile,creating a“broken line”shape,which enhances adaptability to the multi-pressure systems typically encountered in deepwater forma-tion.By adjusting factors such as hollow sphere concentration,separator position,and separation effi-ciency,the annular ECD profile can be effectively customized.This study provides important theoretical insights and practical applications for utilizing dual-gradient drilling technology to address challenges in deepwater formation drilling. 展开更多

DCT的换挡是由拨叉的预挂挡控制和离合器的换挡控制两部分组成。在动力降挡过程中,预挂挡的挂挡时间较长,且对应的离合器转矩必须降为零才能开始执行挂挡过程,在某些工况下会因为等待预挂挡造成整个换挡过程的延时,进而影响整车的加速响... DCT的换挡是由拨叉的预挂挡控制和离合器的换挡控制两部分组成。在动力降挡过程中,预挂挡的挂挡时间较长,且对应的离合器转矩必须降为零才能开始执行挂挡过程,在某些工况下会因为等待预挂挡造成整个换挡过程的延时,进而影响整车的加速响应,这种现象在同轴动力降挡过程中表现尤其明显。为了优化某DCT车型的4阶降挡性能,提出基于STB来优化换挡时间和提升动力响应。STB是应用于DCT的一种半动力中断的换挡方式,本文对STB的整个换挡过程与正常换挡过程做了具体的对比说明,详述其优缺点。为了弥补STB换挡会有短暂动力中断的缺陷,设计了一整套控制策略。一方面开发了针对性的Kick Down逻辑,并采用与之对应的换挡规律,因此控制多阶降挡出现的时机,让4阶降挡仅在Kick Down时触发;另一方面采用开环算法将换挡过程中的发动机转速控制转化为时间控制,当预挂挡挂上并充油完毕时,发动机转速正好达到同步。经过实车上进行对比验证,STB换挡大幅缩短了4阶降挡的换挡时间,整车动力响应得到了明显优化。 展开更多

This study analyzed the difference between using a downward breaststroke kick and a horizontal breaststroke kick in a sample of world class elite swimmers.We compared average muscle activity of the gluteus maximus,quadriceps femoris(vastus medialis and rectus femoris),hamstring/long head of the biceps femoris,gastrocnemius medialis,rectus abdominal,and erector spinae when using the downward breaststroke kick technique.We find that when this sample of swimmers utilized the downward breaststroke kick,max speed and velocity per stroke increased,measured by 12,788 EMG samples,where the results are highly correlated to duration of the aerodynamic buoyant force in breaststroke kick technique.The increases in performance observed from measuring the world class elite swimmers is highly correlated to the duration of the kick aerodynamic buoyant force.Among this sample of elite swimmers,the longer a swimmer demonstrates a buoyant force breaststroke kick,the lower the time in a 100 breaststroke. 展开更多

Under the same aerodynamic load,the load transmitted by the kick-reaction link actuator to the aircraft structure is only 1/5 to 1/3 of that of the point-to-point actuator,which can significantly reduce the weight of the structure,and is widely used in the main flight control surface of large and medium-sized civil airliners.In order to restrain the flutter of aircraft rudder surface,it is necessary to design the servo stiffness of the kick-reaction link actuator in the development stage,so that it can meet the dynamic stiffness requirement within the frequency range.Taking the actuator of a civil airliner as the research object,the dynamic stiffness modeling of elevator actuator is carried out on MATLAB platform,and the dynamic stiffness test is carried out to verify the correctness of dynamic stiffness modeling.The simulation and test results show that the actuator can meet the dynamic stiffness design requirements. 展开更多

The objective was to determine the frequency of th... Unusual head trauma is rare with various mechanisms of occurrence. The injuries can be similar to those of road accidents but sometimes with significant complexities. The objective was to determine the frequency of this pathology in our practice, describe the different mechanisms and report the craniocerebral lesions caused by this type of trauma. Materials and Method: This was a descriptive study with retrospective collection spread over a period of 3 years. After selecting the files, the patients and/or their companions were contacted by telephone to inquire about them and then returned to the consultation for reassessment. Disease history and information were obtained from patients’ medical records. Result: The frequency of this pathology was 1.78% and his incidence was 0.4 cases per month. The average age of the patients was 13.47 years. All the victims were male. 41.17% of patients were in school. The mechanisms of trauma were the hoof blow 47.1%, the horn blow 29.4% and the stone blow 11.7% respectively. 23.5% of patients were confused and 11.7% children were in coma. One patient presented an anisocoria. The motor deficit was present in 5 cases. CT-scan made it possible to highlight a skull depressing fracture 58.8% and confirm a craniocerebral wound in 35.3%. The average time between patient admission to hospital and completion of surgery was 24.5 hours. The surgery had consisted of the trimming of cranio-cerebral wounds, exploration, duroplasty and lifting of skull depressing fracture. After 15 months of follow-up, the evolution was favorable in 53.3%, the morbidity was 33.4% and the mortality 17.6%. Conclusion: These are rare but serious conditions because they are fatal and disabling. An early and multidisciplinary management can hope to have a good favorable. 展开更多
