Methods Eight-seven c...Objective To observe the clinical effects on upper extremities function recovery of cerebral apoplexy induced hemiplegia by combination of JIN's 3-needle technique and motor function trai- ning. Methods Eight-seven cases of cerebral apoplexy induced hemiplegia were randomized into an observation group (44 cases) and a control group (43 cases). JIN's 3-needle technique and motor function training were both adopted for the observation group. Three temporal acupuncture points on the affected side were selected. Three lower arm points, namely Qfichi (曲池 LI 11 ), Waiguan (外关 TE 5) and Hegu ( 合谷 LI 4) were adopted for flaccid hemiplegia. While 3 upper arm points for relieving spasm, namely Jiquan (极泉HT 1), Chize (尺泽 LU 5) and Neiguan (内关 PC 6) were chosen for spastic hemiplegia. Motor function training was applied alone for the control group. Treating courses for both groups were 5 weeks. And scores of Brunnstrom and FugI-Meyer assessments of the affected limbs were analyzed. Results Improvement on scores of FugI-Meyer and Brunnstrom assessments were observed for both groups after the treatment(P〈0. 05, P〈0. 01 ). The post-treatment scores of the observation group was better than that of the control group after the treatment ( P〈0.05, P〈0.01 ). Conclusion Treat- ment of combination of JIN's 3-needle technique with motor function training can obviously improve the motor function of the upper extremities of patients with cerebral apoplexy induced hemiplegia.展开更多

Research into urban expansion patterns and their driving forces is of great significance for urban agglomeration development planning and decision-making.In this paper,we reveal the multi-dimensional characteristics o...Research into urban expansion patterns and their driving forces is of great significance for urban agglomeration development planning and decision-making.In this paper,we reveal the multi-dimensional characteristics of urban expansion patterns,based on the intensity index of the urban expansion,the differentiation index of the urban expansion,the fractal dimension index,the land urbanization rate,and the center of gravity model,by taking the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(Jing-Jin-Ji)urban agglomeration as an example.We then build the center of gravity-geographically and temporally weighted regression(GTWR)model by coupling the center of gravity model with the GTWR model.Through the analysis of the temporal and spatial patterns and by using the center of gravity-GTWR model,we analyze the driving forces of the urban land expansion and summarize the dominant development modes and core driving forces of the Jing-Jin-Ji urban agglomeration.The results show that:1)Between 1990 and 2015,the expansion intensity of the Jing-Jin-Ji urban agglomeration showed a down-up-down trend,and the peak period was in 2005-2010.Before 2005,high-speed development took place in Beijing,Tianjin,Baoding,and Langfang;after 2005,rapid development was seen in Xingtai and Handan.2)Although the barycenter of cities in the Jing-Jin-Ji urban agglomeration has shown a divergent trend,the local interaction between cities has been enhanced,and the driving forces of urban land expansion have shown a characteristic of spatial spillover.3)The spatial development mode of the Jing-Jin-Ji urban agglomeration has changed from a dual-core development mode to a multi-core development mode,which is made up of three functional cores:the transportation core in the northern part,the economic development core in the central part,and the investment core in the southern part.The synergistic development between each functional core has led to the multi-core development mode.4)The center of gravity-GTWR model combines the analysis of spatial and temporal nonstationarity with urban spatial interaction,and analyzes the urban land expansion as a space-time dynamic system.The results of this study show that the model is a feasible approach in the analysis of the driving forces of urban land expansion.展开更多

The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region(Jing-Jin-Ji)–an im...Potential evapotranspiration(ET_0) is vital for hydrologic cycle and water resource assessments as well as crop water requirement and irrigation demand assessments. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region(Jing-Jin-Ji)–an important, large, regional, economic community in China has experienced tremendous land use and land cover changes because of urbanisation and ecological restoration, affecting the hydrologic cycle and water resources of this region. Therefore, we analysed ET_0 in this region using climate data from 22 meteorological stations for the period 1991–2015 to understand this effect. Our findings show that ET_0 increased significantly at a rate of 7.40 mm per decade for the region. Based on the major land use type surrounding them, the meteorological stations were classified as urban, farmland, and natural stations using the 2015 land use dataset. The natural stations in the northern mountainous area showed a significant increase in ET_0, whereas most urban and farmland stations in the plain area showed a decrease in ET_0, with only a few of the stations showing an increase. Based on the different ET_0 trends for different land use types, these stations can be ranked as follows: urban stations(trend value:-4.663 to-1.439) > natural stations(trend value: 2.58 to 3.373) > farmland stations(trend value:-2.927 to-0.248). Our results indicate that land use changes affect meteorological parameters, such as wind speed and sunshine duration, which then lead to changes in ET_0. We noted that wind speed was the dominant parameter affecting ET_0 at all the natural stations, and wind speed and sunshine duration were the dominant parameters affecting ET_0 at most of the urban stations. However, the main controlling parameters affecting ET_0 at the farmland stations varied. These results present a scope for understanding land use impact on ET_0, which can then be applied to studies on sustainable land use planning and water resource management.展开更多

The tectonic settings of the rocks are volcanic arc or syn collision. After the formation of the intrusive rocks, these rocks also experienced reconstruction of Caledonian metamorphism. Based on the Ar Ar dating of metamorphic mineral of muscovite, the metamorphic time is determined to range from (386.8±0.8) Ma to (389.44±3.70) Ma.展开更多
Objective To investigate the effectiveness of compound Chai Jin Jie Yu Tablets(CJJYT)in ameliorating cognitive impairment associated with depression and its potential mechanism of action.Methods In vitro experiments,t...Objective To investigate the effectiveness of compound Chai Jin Jie Yu Tablets(CJJYT)in ameliorating cognitive impairment associated with depression and its potential mechanism of action.Methods In vitro experiments,the hippocampus was isolated from the whole brain of the fetal rat and cultured into hippocampal neuron cells.50μM corticosterone(CORT)was added to each group 18 h before the experiment for modeling depression,with the exception of the control group.After modeling,the blank serum group was added with 10%blank serum,the CJJYT group and the venlafaxine group were added with the corresponding 10%drug-containing serum,and the control group and the model group were added with equal volumes of culture medium.The intracellular Ca^2+mean fluorescence intensity,miniature excitatory postsynaptic current(mEPSC)current amplitude,and frequency of different hippocampal neurons were evaluated as indicators of synaptic function in the hippocampal neurons.In addition,the expression of synaptic plasticity related proteins,synaptophysin-α(SYN-α),N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 2A(NR2A),N-methyl-Daspartate receptor 2B(NR2B),post synaptic density 95 protein(PSD-95),calcium/calmodulin dependent protein kinaseⅡ(CaMKⅡ)and synaptic associated protein(SynGAP)were detected in the hippocampal neurons by immunofluorescence staining and high content analysis(HCA)system.Then,reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)was used to detect the mRNA expression levels of SYN-α,NR2A,NR2B,PSD-95,CaMKⅡand SynGAP.For in vivo experiments,except for those in the blank control group,all rats were treated within a single cage for chronic unpredictable stress-induced depression modeling and subjected to corresponding drug interventions.Behavioral tests were used to detect depressive behavior and determine learning,memory and other cognitive abilities,whereas enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to detect the CORT levels.Golgi-Cox staining was used to observe changes in the synaptic morphology of parahippocampal gyrus CA1 area(CA1)and dentategyrus(DG).Results In vitro,CJJYT treatment reduced the intracellular Ca^2+mean flurorescence intensity in the hippocampal neurons(P<0.05),causing a reduction in the frequency and current amplitude of mEPSC(P<0.05),and thus inhibited the excessive activation of post-synaptic receptors.CJJYT treatment reduced the protein and mRNA expression of SYN-α,NR2A,NR2B and PSD-95 in the hippocampal neurons(P<0.05),increased the mRNA and protein expression of CaMKⅡand SynGAP(P<0.05),and thereby improved the synaptic plasticity of the hippocampal neurons.In vivo,CJJYT intervention improved sucrose preference,voluntary activity,learning and memory ability of Morris water maze test,and suppressed appetite(P<0.05),and increased the despair feeling of forced swimming test(P<0.05).The CORT level was reduced(P<0.05),leading to the repair of synaptic damage in the hippocampal neurons.Conclusions CJJYT can improve the synaptic function of hippocampal neurons and has obvious protective effects on neurons.It can repair the structural damage in the hippocampal neurons,improving the cognitive ability of the depressed model rats.The mechanism of CJJYT improving cognition in depressed rats may be related to the transmission and function of SYN-α/NR and its downstream neurotransmitters.展开更多

However, the flowering...Lonicerae japonicaeFlos (LJF) is widely used in traditional Chinese medicines for the treatment of various diseases, which is now in great demand every year and has a broad development prospect. However, the flowering phase of common LJF varieties is so short, which seriously restricts the development of LJF industry. As a new cultivated kind of Lonicerae japonicae Flos, “Hua Jin 6” has characteristics in long flowering phase and conveniently picking, which makes it have a broad development prospect. The aim of this study is to provide scientific guidance for its suitable harvest period by measuring yield and quality of “Hua Jin 6” from different harvest time. Studies show that flower size had a slowly rising trend from the first day to the seventh day, and then slowly declined or kept stable. There were no significant differences of total phenolic acid contents in different samples from different days, but contents of total flavonoids were on the rise and up to maximum in the ninth day. The contents of total iridoids had an increasing tendency from the first day to the fifth day and then kept relatively stable in other days. We demonstrated that the quality of “Hua Jin 6” is relatively stable and suitable for harvesting in all flower buds white stage in term of HPLC fingerprints. Our findings can make it possible to select the suitable time for different harvest purpose.展开更多
Objective:To investigate the characteristics of'Jin Shang',a specialized term in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)theory,in young adults with chronic neck pain(CNP)and investigated the correlation of'Jin S...Objective:To investigate the characteristics of'Jin Shang',a specialized term in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)theory,in young adults with chronic neck pain(CNP)and investigated the correlation of'Jin Shang'with pain intensity and living disabilities using cross-section study.Methods:The thickness of the bilateral splenius capitis and semispinalis capitis were measured by ultrasound imaging(USI)as the objective performance of'Jin Shang'.The visual analogue scale(VAS)and Northwick Park Questionnaire(NPQ)were used to assess pain intensity and living disability.The Student's t test was used to investigate the difference in neck extensor muscle(NEM)thickness between CNP patients and healthy controls.Pearson's correlation and multiple linear regression were applied to investigate the relationship between NEM thickness,pain intensity and disability.Results:Fifty-nine young adult CNP patients and 16 healthy controls were recruited in this study,in accordance with specific inclusion and exclusion criteria.The student's t test showed that in CNP patients,the thickness of the semispinalis capitis during isometric contraction was significantly thinner than that of healthy controls(P=.04).Pearson's correlation analysis also revealed significant relationships between NEM thickness,VAS,and NPQ,while multiple linear regression showed that the thickness of the NEM in CNP patients was a significant predictor of pain intensity and disability.Conclusion:There was a significant difference in the thickness of the NEM in young adults with CNP when compared to healthy controls.Alterations in the NEM thickness in both rest and contraction are moderately related to neck pain and living disabilities.Our results investigated the characteristics of'Jin Shang'using USI and revealed a correlation between'Jin Shang'and CNP symptoms,which demonstrates that NEM plays an important role in CNP.展开更多

Objective Ultraviolet B(UVB)mainly acts on the skin epidermis,causing oxidative damage and apoptosis of keratinocytes.Jin Bai Mei Yan Prescription(JBMYP)comprises a variety of antioxidant traditional Chinese medicines...Objective Ultraviolet B(UVB)mainly acts on the skin epidermis,causing oxidative damage and apoptosis of keratinocytes.Jin Bai Mei Yan Prescription(JBMYP)comprises a variety of antioxidant traditional Chinese medicines(TCM).In this study,we aimed to evaluate the effects of JBMYP on the oxidative damage induced by UVB in human immortalized epidermal keratinocytes(HaCaT)cells.Methods HaCaT cells were divided into six groups:control group,model(UVB)group,positive(UVB+vitamin E)group,UVB+JBMYP low dose group(160μg/mL),UVB+JBMYP moderate dose group(800μg/mL),and UVB+JBMYP high dose group(1600μg/mL).HaCaT cells were irradiated with UVB and treated with JBMYP for 24 h.Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT)assay and real-time unlabeled cell function analyzer were used to assess the cell survival and proliferation rates,respectively.At the same time,the levels of intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS),lipid peroxide malondialdehyde(MDA),glutathione(GSH),and hydroxyproline(HYP),as well as the activities of antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase(SOD)and catalase(CAT)were evaluated using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results Compared with the model group,the survival rate of HaCaT cells in each dosage group of JBMYP was significantly improved(P<0.05).Further,JBMYP could promote the proliferation of HaCaT cells,leading to a reduction in the contents of MDA and ROS,and increase in the contents of SOD,CAT,GSH and HYP in HaCaT cells.Conclusions JBMYP has enhanced protective effect on oxidative damage induced by UVB in HaCaT cells.展开更多

[Results]After optimizing TLC conditions of Jin Weng Zhili Particle,the separation effect of TLC of test samples was favorable. The spot color was clear,reproducibility was good,and precision was high. Under the conditions of mobile phase constituted by acetonitrile-water-glacial acetic acid-triethylamine( 28∶ 70∶ 1∶ 1),detection wavelength of 265 nm,flow rate of 1. 0 m L min^(-1)and column temperature of 35℃,the resolution of berberine hydrochloride was good; the injection volume in the range of 3. 15-50 μg· m L^(-1)had good linear relationship with the peak area( R^2= 0. 998); the average sample recovery rate(n=6) was 5. 672%,and RSD was 0. 864%; the content of berberine hydrochloride contained in Jin Weng Zhili Particle was 4. 023 mg. While 3 upper arm points for relieving spasm, namely Jiquan (极泉HT 1), Chize (尺泽 LU 5) and Neiguan (内关 PC 6) were chosen for spastic hemiplegia. Motor function training was applied alone for the control group. Treating courses for both groups were 5 weeks. And scores of Brunnstrom and FugI-Meyer assessments of the affected limbs were analyzed. Results Improvement on scores of FugI-Meyer and Brunnstrom assessments were observed for both groups after the treatment(P〈0. 05, P〈0. 01 ). The post-treatment scores of the observation group was better than that of the control group after the treatment ( P〈0.05, P〈0.01 ). Conclusion Treat- ment of combination of JIN's 3-needle technique with motor function training can obviously improve the motor function of the upper extremities of patients with cerebral apoplexy induced hemiplegia.

文摘Heidan disease(black jaundice)is a kind of jaundice,which is caused by lingering and chronic jaundice,often with blood stasis and damp-heat,etc.The clinical symptoms of Heidan disease(black jaundice)are similar to those of cirrhosis caused by multiple chronic liver diseases in Western medicine.Heidan disease(black jaundice)generally belongs to yin jaundice type,and the pathogenesis is mostly related to blood stasis and dampness stagnation,often with damp-heat residue.According to Zhongjing Zhang,the prescription Xiaoshi Fanshi powder for the treatment of Heidan disease(black jaundice)is based on the understanding that the nature of Heidan disease(black jaundice)is inseparable from the two key pathological factors of dampness and blood stasis.The treatment of jaundice should be based on removing blood stasis and dampness,supplemented by soothing the liver and promoting the transportation function of spleen,removing blood stasis and harmonizing the collaterals,and promoting diuresis and reducing jaundice.In the treatment of jaundice,removing blood stasis and purging turbidity should be stressed,and powerful tonification should be used with caution.Since blood stasis and turbidity are always intermingling and often complicated with damp heat,the method of warm drying should be used with caution.For promoting blood circulation,removing blood stasis,and dredging the liver-biliarycollaterals,drasticmedicine shouldbeused withcaution.

文摘Research into urban expansion patterns and their driving forces is of great significance for urban agglomeration development planning and decision-making.In this paper,we reveal the multi-dimensional characteristics of urban expansion patterns,based on the intensity index of the urban expansion,the differentiation index of the urban expansion,the fractal dimension index,the land urbanization rate,and the center of gravity model,by taking the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(Jing-Jin-Ji)urban agglomeration as an example.We then build the center of gravity-geographically and temporally weighted regression(GTWR)model by coupling the center of gravity model with the GTWR model.Through the analysis of the temporal and spatial patterns and by using the center of gravity-GTWR model,we analyze the driving forces of the urban land expansion and summarize the dominant development modes and core driving forces of the Jing-Jin-Ji urban agglomeration.The results show that:1)Between 1990 and 2015,the expansion intensity of the Jing-Jin-Ji urban agglomeration showed a down-up-down trend,and the peak period was in 2005-2010.Before 2005,high-speed development took place in Beijing,Tianjin,Baoding,and Langfang;after 2005,rapid development was seen in Xingtai and Handan.2)Although the barycenter of cities in the Jing-Jin-Ji urban agglomeration has shown a divergent trend,the local interaction between cities has been enhanced,and the driving forces of urban land expansion have shown a characteristic of spatial spillover.3)The spatial development mode of the Jing-Jin-Ji urban agglomeration has changed from a dual-core development mode to a multi-core development mode,which is made up of three functional cores:the transportation core in the northern part,the economic development core in the central part,and the investment core in the southern part.The synergistic development between each functional core has led to the multi-core development mode.4)The center of gravity-GTWR model combines the analysis of spatial and temporal nonstationarity with urban spatial interaction,and analyzes the urban land expansion as a space-time dynamic system.The results of this study show that the model is a feasible approach in the analysis of the driving forces of urban land expansion.

文摘Potential evapotranspiration(ET_0) is vital for hydrologic cycle and water resource assessments as well as crop water requirement and irrigation demand assessments. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region(Jing-Jin-Ji)–an important, large, regional, economic community in China has experienced tremendous land use and land cover changes because of urbanisation and ecological restoration, affecting the hydrologic cycle and water resources of this region. Therefore, we analysed ET_0 in this region using climate data from 22 meteorological stations for the period 1991–2015 to understand this effect. Our findings show that ET_0 increased significantly at a rate of 7.40 mm per decade for the region. Based on the major land use type surrounding them, the meteorological stations were classified as urban, farmland, and natural stations using the 2015 land use dataset. The natural stations in the northern mountainous area showed a significant increase in ET_0, whereas most urban and farmland stations in the plain area showed a decrease in ET_0, with only a few of the stations showing an increase. Based on the different ET_0 trends for different land use types, these stations can be ranked as follows: urban stations(trend value:-4.663 to-1.439) > natural stations(trend value: 2.58 to 3.373) > farmland stations(trend value:-2.927 to-0.248). Our results indicate that land use changes affect meteorological parameters, such as wind speed and sunshine duration, which then lead to changes in ET_0. We noted that wind speed was the dominant parameter affecting ET_0 at all the natural stations, and wind speed and sunshine duration were the dominant parameters affecting ET_0 at most of the urban stations. However, the main controlling parameters affecting ET_0 at the farmland stations varied. These results present a scope for understanding land use impact on ET_0, which can then be applied to studies on sustainable land use planning and water resource management.

文摘From the isotopic dating study of gneissic granodiorite, the authors discovered magmatism of the Jinning cycle. Intrusive rocks were formed in the Neoproterozoic, whose Pb Pb ages range from (913±4) Ma to (1 011±4) Ma and U Pb concordia age is (703±15) Ma. The tectonic settings of the rocks are volcanic arc or syn collision. After the formation of the intrusive rocks, these rocks also experienced reconstruction of Caledonian metamorphism. Based on the Ar Ar dating of metamorphic mineral of muscovite, the metamorphic time is determined to range from (386.8±0.8) Ma to (389.44±3.70) Ma.

文摘Objective To investigate the effectiveness of compound Chai Jin Jie Yu Tablets(CJJYT)in ameliorating cognitive impairment associated with depression and its potential mechanism of action.Methods In vitro experiments,the hippocampus was isolated from the whole brain of the fetal rat and cultured into hippocampal neuron cells.50μM corticosterone(CORT)was added to each group 18 h before the experiment for modeling depression,with the exception of the control group.After modeling,the blank serum group was added with 10%blank serum,the CJJYT group and the venlafaxine group were added with the corresponding 10%drug-containing serum,and the control group and the model group were added with equal volumes of culture medium.The intracellular Ca^2+mean fluorescence intensity,miniature excitatory postsynaptic current(mEPSC)current amplitude,and frequency of different hippocampal neurons were evaluated as indicators of synaptic function in the hippocampal neurons.In addition,the expression of synaptic plasticity related proteins,synaptophysin-α(SYN-α),N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 2A(NR2A),N-methyl-Daspartate receptor 2B(NR2B),post synaptic density 95 protein(PSD-95),calcium/calmodulin dependent protein kinaseⅡ(CaMKⅡ)and synaptic associated protein(SynGAP)were detected in the hippocampal neurons by immunofluorescence staining and high content analysis(HCA)system.Then,reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)was used to detect the mRNA expression levels of SYN-α,NR2A,NR2B,PSD-95,CaMKⅡand SynGAP.For in vivo experiments,except for those in the blank control group,all rats were treated within a single cage for chronic unpredictable stress-induced depression modeling and subjected to corresponding drug interventions.Behavioral tests were used to detect depressive behavior and determine learning,memory and other cognitive abilities,whereas enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to detect the CORT levels.Golgi-Cox staining was used to observe changes in the synaptic morphology of parahippocampal gyrus CA1 area(CA1)and dentategyrus(DG).Results In vitro,CJJYT treatment reduced the intracellular Ca^2+mean flurorescence intensity in the hippocampal neurons(P<0.05),causing a reduction in the frequency and current amplitude of mEPSC(P<0.05),and thus inhibited the excessive activation of post-synaptic receptors.CJJYT treatment reduced the protein and mRNA expression of SYN-α,NR2A,NR2B and PSD-95 in the hippocampal neurons(P<0.05),increased the mRNA and protein expression of CaMKⅡand SynGAP(P<0.05),and thereby improved the synaptic plasticity of the hippocampal neurons.In vivo,CJJYT intervention improved sucrose preference,voluntary activity,learning and memory ability of Morris water maze test,and suppressed appetite(P<0.05),and increased the despair feeling of forced swimming test(P<0.05).The CORT level was reduced(P<0.05),leading to the repair of synaptic damage in the hippocampal neurons.Conclusions CJJYT can improve the synaptic function of hippocampal neurons and has obvious protective effects on neurons.It can repair the structural damage in the hippocampal neurons,improving the cognitive ability of the depressed model rats.The mechanism of CJJYT improving cognition in depressed rats may be related to the transmission and function of SYN-α/NR and its downstream neurotransmitters.
文摘Purpose:To observe the long-term effects of regular Ba Duan Jin exercises for patients with chronic neck pain.Methods:Participants with chronic neck pain were instructed to perform30 min/d of Ba Duan Jin exercises(n?36)or assigned to a control group(n?36)for six months.Data from a visual analogue scale,Northwick Park Neck Pain Questionnaire,and the 36-item Shortform Health Survey(SF-36)were collected before,and three and six months after intervention began.Results:Participants undergoing Ba Duan Jin exercises achieved significantly greater improvement than the controls in visual analogue scale,Northwick Park Neck Pain Questionnaire and SF-36 health transition scores(all p<0.05).However,no significant differences were observed in SF-36 physical or mental component summaries.Conclusion:Regular Ba Duan Jin practice reduces suffering and pain,and increases health satisfaction in individuals with chronic neck pain.
文摘Lonicerae japonicaeFlos (LJF) is widely used in traditional Chinese medicines for the treatment of various diseases, which is now in great demand every year and has a broad development prospect. However, the flowering phase of common LJF varieties is so short, which seriously restricts the development of LJF industry. As a new cultivated kind of Lonicerae japonicae Flos, “Hua Jin 6” has characteristics in long flowering phase and conveniently picking, which makes it have a broad development prospect. The aim of this study is to provide scientific guidance for its suitable harvest period by measuring yield and quality of “Hua Jin 6” from different harvest time. Studies show that flower size had a slowly rising trend from the first day to the seventh day, and then slowly declined or kept stable. There were no significant differences of total phenolic acid contents in different samples from different days, but contents of total flavonoids were on the rise and up to maximum in the ninth day. The contents of total iridoids had an increasing tendency from the first day to the fifth day and then kept relatively stable in other days. We demonstrated that the quality of “Hua Jin 6” is relatively stable and suitable for harvesting in all flower buds white stage in term of HPLC fingerprints. Our findings can make it possible to select the suitable time for different harvest purpose.
文摘Objective:To investigate the characteristics of'Jin Shang',a specialized term in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)theory,in young adults with chronic neck pain(CNP)and investigated the correlation of'Jin Shang'with pain intensity and living disabilities using cross-section study.Methods:The thickness of the bilateral splenius capitis and semispinalis capitis were measured by ultrasound imaging(USI)as the objective performance of'Jin Shang'.The visual analogue scale(VAS)and Northwick Park Questionnaire(NPQ)were used to assess pain intensity and living disability.The Student's t test was used to investigate the difference in neck extensor muscle(NEM)thickness between CNP patients and healthy controls.Pearson's correlation and multiple linear regression were applied to investigate the relationship between NEM thickness,pain intensity and disability.Results:Fifty-nine young adult CNP patients and 16 healthy controls were recruited in this study,in accordance with specific inclusion and exclusion criteria.The student's t test showed that in CNP patients,the thickness of the semispinalis capitis during isometric contraction was significantly thinner than that of healthy controls(P=.04).Pearson's correlation analysis also revealed significant relationships between NEM thickness,VAS,and NPQ,while multiple linear regression showed that the thickness of the NEM in CNP patients was a significant predictor of pain intensity and disability.Conclusion:There was a significant difference in the thickness of the NEM in young adults with CNP when compared to healthy controls.Alterations in the NEM thickness in both rest and contraction are moderately related to neck pain and living disabilities.Our results investigated the characteristics of'Jin Shang'using USI and revealed a correlation between'Jin Shang'and CNP symptoms,which demonstrates that NEM plays an important role in CNP.

文摘Objective Ultraviolet B(UVB)mainly acts on the skin epidermis,causing oxidative damage and apoptosis of keratinocytes.Jin Bai Mei Yan Prescription(JBMYP)comprises a variety of antioxidant traditional Chinese medicines(TCM).In this study,we aimed to evaluate the effects of JBMYP on the oxidative damage induced by UVB in human immortalized epidermal keratinocytes(HaCaT)cells.Methods HaCaT cells were divided into six groups:control group,model(UVB)group,positive(UVB+vitamin E)group,UVB+JBMYP low dose group(160μg/mL),UVB+JBMYP moderate dose group(800μg/mL),and UVB+JBMYP high dose group(1600μg/mL).HaCaT cells were irradiated with UVB and treated with JBMYP for 24 h.Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT)assay and real-time unlabeled cell function analyzer were used to assess the cell survival and proliferation rates,respectively.At the same time,the levels of intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS),lipid peroxide malondialdehyde(MDA),glutathione(GSH),and hydroxyproline(HYP),as well as the activities of antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase(SOD)and catalase(CAT)were evaluated using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results Compared with the model group,the survival rate of HaCaT cells in each dosage group of JBMYP was significantly improved(P<0.05).Further,JBMYP could promote the proliferation of HaCaT cells,leading to a reduction in the contents of MDA and ROS,and increase in the contents of SOD,CAT,GSH and HYP in HaCaT cells.Conclusions JBMYP has enhanced protective effect on oxidative damage induced by UVB in HaCaT cells.

文摘[Objectives]To screen optimum conditions of HPLC and TLC for qualitative discrimination of berberine hydrochloride contained in Jin Weng Zhili Particle,thus providing basis for quality standard. [Methods]According to the method described in Chinese Veterinary Pharmacopoeia,thin layer chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography were used respectively for qualitative and quantitative identification of berberine hydrochloride contained in Jin Weng Zhili Particle by improving the conditions of extraction and purification. [Results]After optimizing TLC conditions of Jin Weng Zhili Particle,the separation effect of TLC of test samples was favorable. The spot color was clear,reproducibility was good,and precision was high. Under the conditions of mobile phase constituted by acetonitrile-water-glacial acetic acid-triethylamine( 28∶ 70∶ 1∶ 1),detection wavelength of 265 nm,flow rate of 1. 0 m L min^(-1)and column temperature of 35℃,the resolution of berberine hydrochloride was good; the injection volume in the range of 3. 15-50 μg· m L^(-1)had good linear relationship with the peak area( R^2= 0. 998); the average sample recovery rate(n=6) was 5. 672%,and RSD was 0. 864%; the content of berberine hydrochloride contained in Jin Weng Zhili Particle was 4. 023 mg. [Conclusions]The method was of good feasibility,reproducibility and specificity,and could be used for qualitative and quantitative detection of berberine hydrochloride contained in Jin Weng Zhili Particle.
