The global clustering of inventive talent shapes innovation capacity and drives economic growth.For China,this process is especially crucial in sustaining its development momentum.This paper draws on data from the EPO...The global clustering of inventive talent shapes innovation capacity and drives economic growth.For China,this process is especially crucial in sustaining its development momentum.This paper draws on data from the EPO Worldwide Patent Statistical Database(PATSTAT)to extract global inventive talent mobility information and analyzes the spatial structural evolution of the global inventive talent flow network.The study finds that this network is undergoing a multi-polar transformation,characterized by the rising importance of a few central countries-such as the United States,Germany,and China-and the increasing marginalization of many peripheral countries.In response to this typical phenomenon,the paper constructs an endogenous migration model and conducts empirical testing using the Temporal Exponential Random Graph Model(TERGM).The results reveal several endogenous mechanisms driving global inventive talent flows,including reciprocity,path dependence,convergence effects,transitivity,and cyclic structures,all of which contribute to the network’s multi-polar trend.In addition,differences in regional industrial structures significantly influence talent mobility choices and are a decisive factor in the formation of poles within the multi-polar landscape.Based on these findings,it is suggested that efforts be made to foster two-way channels for talent exchange between China and other global innovation hubs,in order to enhance international collaboration and knowledge flow.We should aim to reduce the migration costs and institutional barriers faced by R&D personnel,thereby encouraging greater mobility of high-skilled talent.Furthermore,the government is advised to strategically leverage regional strengths in high-tech industries as a lever to capture competitive advantages in emerging technologies and products,ultimately strengthening the country’s position in the global innovation landscape.展开更多
In the Freudian-Lacanian field,there is an important distinction between knowledge and truth.The truth,of an unconscious nature,is something that inhabits us,directs us,but that escapes us.Knowledge,in turn,is somethi...In the Freudian-Lacanian field,there is an important distinction between knowledge and truth.The truth,of an unconscious nature,is something that inhabits us,directs us,but that escapes us.Knowledge,in turn,is something to be invented,from the hole of the Real,the Unconscious truth,and the subjective experience.The relationships between playing,creating,and fantasizing;the dimension of the uncanny,fiction,and imagination in subjectivity;the invention of knowledge of oneself,derived from the pains and flavors of being who one is,are creative dimensions that inhabit the subject,permeate the analytical act,and transversalize psychoanalysis.In the practice,we listen to and witness processes of analysis that awaken an invention/reinvention of oneself,in the process of remembering,repeating,and elaborating,but also in what the transference relationship summons.Knowledge of oneself,does not guarantee a life without mishaps,sadness,and illusions,but allows the invention and recognition of knowledge and a style.The concept of Sinthome(2007),coined by Jacques Lacan,comes in the wake of the processes of self-invention and is a knowing-doing with the symptom,with the paradoxes of joyful suffering,producing,as a result,an art of saying.Therefore,in this communication,I will articulate elements of theory,practice,and psychoanalytic experience that allow us to expand knowledge of the themes of invention and imagination articulated with the concept of sinthome,their relationships with subjectivity,and the direction of psychoanalytic treatment.展开更多

We presented an integrated model of these two methods to increase the ...Axiomatic design (AD) and theory of inventive problem solving (TRIZ) are widely used in conceptual design. Both of them have limitations, however. We presented an integrated model of these two methods to increase the efficiency and quality of the problem solving process for conceptual design. AD is used for systematically defining and structuring a problem into a hierarchy. Sometimes, the design matrix is coupled in AD which indicates the functional requirements are coupled. TRIZ separation principles can be used to separate non-independent design parameters, which provide innovative solutions at each hierarchical level. We applied the integrated model to the heating and drying equipment of bitumen reproduction device. The result verifies that the integrated model can work very well in conceptual design.展开更多

It connotes the profound ability of finding out valuable things different from those who have been exploring by spending a lot of time or for years. The author will illustrate as many cases as possible within a given time constraint, so that surrounding environments and situations may be clarified, and such discoveries and inventions may be plausibly accomplished by accident or with rich reasons. These illustrations include historical as well as more recent cases. One of the cases is beyond the scope of our environment on the earth with preconceived notion, while other cases have given great impacts to our politics and also military intelligence. It should be noted that business and technological intelligence are deeply connected with discoveries, inventions and serendipity. This research is dedicated to assessment of a method that was earlier proposed and developed in order to increase the degree of automation and software involvement into conceptual decision making during design of stru...This research is dedicated to assessment of a method that was earlier proposed and developed in order to increase the degree of automation and software involvement into conceptual decision making during design of structural elements of buildings. Such instruments of the theory of inventive problem solving as contradiction and function analysis and trimming formed the basis of the proposed approach that was realized in a modern building information modeling software. The common logic of the approach is also provided in the article. Qualitative research methods and particularly collecting, analyzing and interpreting data were applied in this research. Firstly, a literature review of indexed journal articles in the field of the study was performed and some trends for possible development of the topic were identified. Secondly, a survey of potential users of the methodology was conducted and analyzed. The questionnaire results showed that the suggested method and its technical realization gained attraction among respondents, however, some of them are rather cautious regarding application of the approach potentials in their practice. The paper ends with evaluation results discussion, conclusion and proposals for further research.展开更多
