The report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that our world, our times and history are changing in unprecedented ways.On the one hand, the historical trends of peace, development, cooperation and mutual benefit are unstoppable. The will of the people and the general trends of current times will eventually lead to a bright future for humanity. On the other hand,hegemonic,high-handed and bullying acts such as using strength to intimidate the weak, taking from others by force or subterfuge, and playing zero-sum games are inflicting grave harm. The deficit in peace, development, security and governance is growing. All of this poses unprecedented challenges for human society.1 With the accelerating evolution of the international landscape and the intensification of strategic competition among major powers, global governance is facing unprecedented complexity and challenges. 展开更多

In this paper, the core notion of "electoral integrity" refers to agreed international principles and standards of elections, applying universally to all countries worldwide throughout the electoral cycle, including during the pre and post-electoral period. As such, a quantitative and empirical method is employed to insight the quantum of electoral integrity of India and Mauritius where they respect human rights for real democratization.
