The advancement of intelligent mining in open-pit operations has imposed higher demands on geological transparency,aiming to provide a robust foundation for intelligent drilling and charging.In this study,a linear array of 120 nodal seismometers was deployed along the surfaces of the C8 and C9 platforms at Fenghuang Mountain to investigate cavities within the rock mass and prevent improper intelligent charging.The seismometers were 1 m apart along measurement lines,with a 2-m spacing between lines,and the monitoring time for each line was set at 2 h.This deployment was paired with spatial autocorrelation and station autocorrelation to analyze ambient noise seismic data and image the velocity and structure within the rock mass.The results demonstrate that the locations and sizes of cavities or loose structures can be accurately identified at the prepared excavation site.Compared with traditional geological exploration methods for openpit mines,the approach in this study off ers higher accuracy,greater efficiency,reduced labor intensity,and insensitivity to water conditions.Ambient noise seismic imaging for detecting adverse geological conditions in open-pit mines provides critical insights and references for intelligent mining advancements. 展开更多

However, manufacturing agil ity can only be attained through the deployment of knowledge. To embed knowledge into a CAD system to form a knowledge intensive CAD (KIC) system is one of way to enhance the design compatibility of a manufacturing company. The most difficu lt phase to develop a KIC system is to capitalize a huge amount of legacy data t o form a knowledge database. In the past, such capitalization process could only be done solely manually or semi-automatic. In this paper, a five step model fo r automatic design knowledge capitalization through the use of data mining is pr oposed whilst details of how to select, verify and performance benchmarking an a ppropriate data mining algorithm for a specific design task will also be discuss ed. A case study concerning the design of a plastic toaster casing was used as an illustration for the proposed methodology and it was found that the avera ge absolute error of the predictions for the most appropriate algorithm is withi n 17%. 展开更多

Physical model test was used to assess the failure modes and mechanisms on talus-derived rock mass. The different types of failure modes of the talus-derived rock mass were introduced and a possible failure mechanism relation between the failure zone and the structure of the talus-derived rock mass was also shown. The physical model test results indicate that the rainfall has significant influence on the stability and failure modes of talus-derived rock mass during open-pit mining. The development of the seepage area caused by rainfall initiates the localized failure in that particular area, and the initiation of localized instability is mainly induced by stress changes concentrated in the seepage area. 展开更多

The retained coal in the end slope of an open-pit mine can be mined by the highwall mining techniques.However,the instability mechanism of the reserved rib pillar under dynamic loads of mining haul trucks and static loads of the overlying strata is not clear,which restricts the safe and efcient application of highwall mining.In this study,the load-bearing model of the rib pillar in highwall mining was established,the cusp catastrophe theory and the safety coefcient of the rib pillar were considered,and the criterion equations of the rib pillar stability were proposed.Based on the limit equilibrium theory,the limit stress of the rib pillar was analyzed,and the calculation equations of plastic zone width of the rib pillar in highwall mining were obtained.Based on the Winkler foundation beam theory,the elastic foundation beam model composed of the rib pillar and roof under the highwall mining was established,and the calculation equations for the compression of the rib pillar under dynamic and static loads were developed.The results showed that with the increase of the rib pillar width,the total compression of the rib pillar under dynamic and static loads decreases nonlinearly,and the compression of the rib pillar caused by static loads of the overlying strata and trucks has a decisive role.Numerical simulation and theoretical calculation were also performed in this study.In the numerical simulation,the coal seam with a buried depth of 122 m and a thickness of 3 m is mined by highwall mining techniques.According to the established rib pillar instability model of the highwall mining system,it is found that when the mining opening width is 3 m,the reasonable width of the rib pillar is at least 1.3 m,and the safety factor of the rib pillar is 1.3.The numerical simulation results are in good agreement with the results of theoretical calculation,which verifes the feasibility of the theoretical analysis of the rib pillar stability.This research provides a reference for the stability analysis of rib pillars under highwall mining. 展开更多

Given the conditions of residual coal from the boundary of a flat dipping open-pit mine,which uses strip areas mining and inner dumping with slope-covering,we propose an open-pit and underground integrated mining technology for residual coal of end slopes.In the proposal a conveyance road and ventilation conveyance near the slope are built,corresponding to the pit mining area and the surface coal mine dump,as well as an interval haulage tunnel and air-inlet tunnel.The outcome shows that such mining method may reduce the effect to slope stability from underground mining,it does not affect the dumping advance and has a high recovery rate of residual coal resources.The working face is timbered by single hydraulic props,transported by a scraper conveyor and supported by coal walls.This method of mining is one of layered top coal caving,with high resource recovery,low production cost where positive economic benefit can be realized. 展开更多

Based on a detailed geological survey of the slope, a theoretical analysis was carriedout, and the design parameters were proposed, where the Tresca or Mohr-Coulomb yield criteria wasemployed. A patent technology, named 'Technology of high pressure and multiple grouting in differentlevels within a single hole', was employed in the construction. Anchor bars were also installed asgrouting proceeds. This method combines anchoring and grouting comprehensively and was foundsuccessful in practice. 展开更多

The circle geometric constraint model (CGCM) was put forward for resolving the open-pit mine ore-matching problems (OMOMP). By adopting the approaches of graph theory, block model of blasted piles was abstracted into a set of nodes and directed edges, which were connected together with other nodes in the range of circle constraints, to describe the mining sequence. Also, the constructing method of CGCM was introduced in detail. The algorithm of CGCM has been realized in the DIM1NE system, and applied to a short-term (5 d) program calculation for ore-matching of a cement limestone mine in Hebei Province, China. The applications show that CGCM can well describe the mining sequence of ore blocks and its mining geometric constraints in the process of mining blasted piles. This model, which is applicable for resolving OMOMP under complicated geometric constraints with accurate results, provides effective ways to solve the problems of open-pit ore-matching. 展开更多

This article combined the actual situation of the Gaohai Coal Mine in Fuxin City and set up a three-dimensional model of the part of Huizhou open-pit slope by the finite difference software. Through the three-dimensional numerical simulation study of the influence on the stability of slope by underground mining, the basic characteristics of the open-pit slope deformation and the situation of basic stability were discussed. Ore production is usually affected by multiple influencing inputs at open-pit mines.Nevertheless,the complex nonlinear relationships between these inputs and ore production remain unclear.This becomes even more challenging when training data(e.g.truck haulage information and weather conditions)are massive.In machine learning(ML)algorithms,deep neural network(DNN)is a superior method for processing nonlinear and massive data by adjusting the amount of neurons and hidden layers.This study adopted DNN to forecast ore production using truck haulage information and weather conditions at open-pit mines as training data.Before the prediction models were built,principal component analysis(PCA)was employed to reduce the data dimensionality and eliminate the multicollinearity among highly correlated input variables.To verify the superiority of DNN,three ANNs containing only one hidden layer and six traditional ML models were established as benchmark models.The DNN model with multiple hidden layers performed better than the ANN models with a single hidden layer.The DNN model outperformed the extensively applied benchmark models in predicting ore production.This can provide engineers and researchers with an accurate method to forecast ore production,which helps make sound budgetary decisions and mine planning at open-pit mines. 展开更多

The height of fractured zone(HFZ) at the high-intensity longwall mining panel plays a vital role in the safety analysis of coal mining under bodies of water. This paper described definitions of the highintensity mining. The processes of overburden failure transfer(OFT) were analyzed, which were divided into the development stage and the termination stage. Through theoretical analysis, the limited suspension-distance and the limited overhanging distance were proposed to judge the damage of each stratum. Mechanical models of strata suspended integrity and overhanging stability were established.A theoretical method to predict the HFZ at the high-intensity longwall mining panel was put forward based on the processes of OFT. Taking a high-intensity longwall mining panel(No. 11915 panel) as an example, the theoretical method proposed, the engineering analogy and the empirical formulas in the Regulation were used to predict the HFZ. The results show that the theoretical result is consistent with the engineering analogies' result and empirical formulas' result. The rationality and reliability of the theoretical method proposed is verified. 展开更多

Land use change is a major factor in alterations in natural processes and cycles. Remote sensing has become an excellent tool to evaluate technological changes in land cover and land use changes over large areas, such as those occurring in the Valley of San Luis Potosi (VSLP). Here, such changes have impacted a system which is 95% dependent on the aquifer. The methodology for the present study is based on the use of satellite images for the years 1976, 1986, 1995 and 2000. To asses land use change, a supervised classification process was used with a decision tree technique and ENVI 4.3 software. The evolution of groundwater levels for the years 1977, 1986, 1995, 1998 and 2007 was also analyzed, as well as problems of subsidence and fissuring in the urban area of the valley in 2006. With the support of remote sensing, it was possible to analyze the dynamic changes in land use over large areas and highlight their impact on the environment. 展开更多

It has also affected the land structure accordingly, causing the mining area to gradually evolve into a mining wasteland, and continuously reducing the land utilization rate. For human beings, mineral resources are an important basis for their survival. However, in spite of this, we should not sacrifice the ecological environment for economic development. For this reason, our country has actively carried out the research on the restoration of mine geological environment, and has achieved good results in the utilization and consolidation of land resources, which has effectively solved the contradiction and conflict among people, land and environment in our country. In the following, the classic environmental restoration and management model will be summarized based on the engineering examples of geological environment restoration and management of domestic outstanding abandoned open-pit mines. It is hoped that the safety of people's lives and property can be effectively guaranteed, and human survival and development needs can be effectively met. 展开更多

In order to clarify the danger of water breakout in the bottom plate of extra-thick coal seam mining, 2202 working face of a mine in the west is taken as the research object, and it is proposed to use the on-site monitoring means combining borehole peeping and microseismic monitoring, combined with the theoretical analysis to analyze the danger of water breakout in the bottom plate. The results show that: 1) the theoretically calculated maximum damage depth of the bottom plate is 27.5 m, and its layer is located above the Austrian ash aquifer, which has the danger of water breakout;2) the drill hole peeping at the bottom plate of the working face shows that the depth of the bottom plate fissure development reaches 26 m, and the integrity of the water barrier layer has been damaged, so there is the risk of water breakout;3) for the microseismic monitoring of the anomalous area, the bottom plate of the return air downstream channel occurs in the field with a one-week lag, which shows that microseismic monitoring events may reflect the water breakout of the underground. This shows that the microseismic monitoring events can reflect the changes of the underground flow field, which can provide a reference basis for the early warning of water breakout. The research results can provide reference for the prediction of sudden water hazard. 展开更多

针对海上高孔高渗稠油油藏热采,高注入强度对多孔介质中流体的渗流特征、窜流通道的形成与扩展、对开采动态的影响较大。基于单元体研究注入强度与窜流通道的理论研究,结合国内外研究现状分析不同注入强度对窜流通道形态的影响,采用二... 针对海上高孔高渗稠油油藏热采,高注入强度对多孔介质中流体的渗流特征、窜流通道的形成与扩展、对开采动态的影响较大。基于单元体研究注入强度与窜流通道的理论研究,结合国内外研究现状分析不同注入强度对窜流通道形态的影响,采用二维物理模拟实验进一步分析研究,并在矿场应用中加以验证。通过研究表明,注入强度的增加,在加热腔扩展上会逐步形成扩容-破裂-优势通道-压力释放的过程;当注入强度达到24 mL/min时,蒸汽腔沿对应方向出现明显窜流,呈现“倒三角”的蒸汽腔扩展;结合现场监测与数值模拟数据表明,在注热驱替中,高注入强度下窜流通道的形态与物理模拟结果基本一致。该研究成果可为高孔高渗稠油油藏热采的温度场调控、注入强度优化、调堵工艺制定等提供技术支持,为后续海上稠油油田的规模化开发奠定基础。 展开更多

现有针对工作面底板岩体变形破坏特征的研究主要聚焦于工作面采动影响阶段底板岩体的破坏特征,忽视了工作面卸荷对底板岩体的损伤破坏,所得结果具有一定的局限性。实际工况中,工作面底板岩体发生支承压力扰动—卸荷的力学状态转变,工作... 现有针对工作面底板岩体变形破坏特征的研究主要聚焦于工作面采动影响阶段底板岩体的破坏特征,忽视了工作面卸荷对底板岩体的损伤破坏,所得结果具有一定的局限性。实际工况中,工作面底板岩体发生支承压力扰动—卸荷的力学状态转变,工作面卸荷亦使得底板岩体产生一定范围的张拉破坏。针对该问题,以淮南矿业(集团)有限责任公司潘二煤矿11123工作面主采煤层底板岩体为研究对象,针对其在支承压力扰动与采空区卸荷2个阶段所处不同受力状态,分别建立相应的底板岩体力学模型,并基于Mohr-Coulomb准则与岩体卸荷破坏机制,分析不同阶段底板岩体的变形破坏特征。研究结果表明:(1)煤体强度、开采强度、初始受力均影响采动应力分布规律,采动应力集中系数与塑性区深度负相关。(2)采高越小,超前采动支承应力越大,底板岩体压剪破坏深度越小,采高为2.5~4.0 m时,受超前采动应力扰动作用底板岩体压剪破坏深度分别为16.96,18.02,18.63,19.02 m。(3)卸荷条件下,底板岩体卸荷前后的最大主应力方向保持高度一致,超前采动支承应力增大,引起卸荷量上升,进而增大卸荷张拉破坏的深度,当采高为2.5~4.0 m时,底板岩体对应的卸荷破坏深度分别为21.56,19.15,18.03,17.74 m。现场测试结果表明:初采高度为3.5 m,在光纤长度12 m(垂高8.5 m)位置处,岩层首次出现可检测的拉应变,峰值达+1800με;在光纤长度为15~37 m(垂高10.6~26.2 m)内,岩层呈现持续性压应变,最大值达-1500με;光纤长度为37~57.75 m内的岩层基本上保持稳定,没有受到明显的采动影响;垂高13.2~17.7 m内,电流值降低至10 mA,综合测试结果获得底板岩体最大破坏深度为17.7 m,该实测结果与卸荷理论所计算破坏深度大致相当。 展开更多

为深入探究深埋煤层强采动覆岩强矿压显现规律,以黄陵一号煤矿1014工作面为工程背景,采用地质探查、物理模拟及现场监测等方法,分析工作面覆岩破断失稳特征及矿压显现规律,制定顶板预裂钻孔切顶方案,并通过现场监测验证卸压调控效果。... 为深入探究深埋煤层强采动覆岩强矿压显现规律,以黄陵一号煤矿1014工作面为工程背景,采用地质探查、物理模拟及现场监测等方法,分析工作面覆岩破断失稳特征及矿压显现规律,制定顶板预裂钻孔切顶方案,并通过现场监测验证卸压调控效果。研究表明:随着工作面持续开采,顶板垮落步距和支架阻力逐渐增大,在回采至约210 m时,支架阻力达到最大,为34 MPa。微震事件的空间-强度特征表明,煤层上方厚硬砂岩层是诱致工作面强矿压显现和临空巷道持续大变形的力学根源。现场监测结果显示,卸压后巷道顶板下沉量、侧帮收敛量和底板变形量分别降低17.8%、25.4%和23.87%,预裂钻孔切顶卸压方案能够有效抑制工作面强矿压显现,降低巷道围岩变形。研究成果为相似条件矿井临空巷道的围岩控制提供参考。 展开更多
