Beijing GuoDian ZhiShen Control Technology applied the homemade DCS (EDPF-NT System) to the integrated BOP control system of 600-MW supercritical power unit, which offers advantages in efficiency promotion, cost reduction and resource sharing. That also reflects the dominance of EDPF-NT System in performance, price, real-time DUP, network compatibility and communication. Its structure and working ...A mobile mechanism with four tracked-units for a missing miner search robot (MMSR) is presented, with a design based on the terrain features and atrocious environment of an underground mine. Its structure and working prin- ciple is discussed. The four tracked-units are controlled independently and driven cooperatively. By means of two DC motors being controlled respectively, one tracked-unit can accomplish two types of driving mode: tracked travel and in- tegral unit legged rotation (IULR), forming a track-legged compound function mechanism. Its capabilities of surmount- ing obstacles and its toppling stability in underground mines have also been analyzed. The results show that the mobile mechanism can directly surmount an obstacle of the height less than the length of one tracked-unit and get across a raceway with a span less than the length of one tracked-unit by using tracked travel and IULR. Its unstable slope angle is 51.3°. Toppling stability is determined by its structural size, moving direction and slope angle. IULR of four tracked-units can adjust the robot’s posture and then enhance toppling stability or assist in surmounting obstacles. Its track-legged compound function mechanism makes it suitable for working in underground mines.展开更多
The integration of refinery and petrochemical units(IRPUs)has become an inevitable choice for the sustainable development of petrochemical industry.The utilization efficiency of petroleum resources could be improved o...The integration of refinery and petrochemical units(IRPUs)has become an inevitable choice for the sustainable development of petrochemical industry.The utilization efficiency of petroleum resources could be improved obviously through IRPUs.However,integrating economic and environmental impacts into the model of IRPUs is still a grand challenge.Herein,a model called TEA-GHG-OPWM(Techno-Economic Analysis and GreenHouse Gases Oriented Plant-Wide Model)has been established on Aspen HYSYSTM platform to calculate the energy consumption,the technoeconomic performance,and the GHG emissions for two different kinds of schemes,viz,:VRHCU(Vacuum Residue Hydrocracking Unit)and VRDS-RFCC(Vacuum Residue Desulfurization and Residue Fluid Catalytic Cracking).Furthermore,a novel processing pathway named VGOHDT-HTMP-DC(Vacuum Gas Oil Hydrotreating,Hydrogenation and TMP coupling process and Delayed Coking)has also been developed to find methods to improve the economic performance based on a ten-million-CNY output value(TMYOV)and a reduced GHG emissions.Our results demonstrate that VRHCRU could consume more energy and emit more GHG(877.11 t of CO2 eq·TMYOV^-1·h^-1)than VRDS-RFCC(817.03 t of CO2 eq·TMYOV^-1·h^-1)and VGOHDT-HTMP-DC(721.96 t of CO2 eq·TMYOV^-1·h^-1),while obtaining a higher mass yield of petrochemicals.The VGOHDT-HTMP-DC process exhibits the lowest feedstock consumption,hydrogen consumption,energy consumption,and GHG emissions,indicating that VGOHDT-HTMP-DC has both well economic and environmentally friendly performance.展开更多

To achieve the goals of emission peak and carbon neutrality,significant effort is invested to accelerate the energy transition,with a focus on the development and utilization of renewable energy,as well as the upgradi...To achieve the goals of emission peak and carbon neutrality,significant effort is invested to accelerate the energy transition,with a focus on the development and utilization of renewable energy,as well as the upgrading of conventional units.Within this context,this paper proposes an innovative concept,known as the integrated energy production unit(IEPU),providing a variety of energy products and flexible adjustment functions for power systems with high penetration of non-hydro renewable energy.In the IEPU framework,a photovoltaic(PV)power plant is installed to produce electricity;CO_(2) capture technology is applied to the existing coal-fired power plant with biomass co-combustion.The generated CO_(2) is used to synthesize methane or methanol with hydrogen through electrolysis.First,the operational principle and advantages of this concept are illustrated.Then,a simplified model is built to provide an optimal configuration scheme of equipment capacity.Finally,the potential contribution of IEPU to the operational flexibility of the power system is also analyzed.展开更多

General purpos...A multi-scale hardware and software architecture implementing the EMMS (energy-minimization multi-scale) paradigm is proven to be effective in the simulation of a two-dimensional gas-solid suspension. General purpose CPUs are employed for macro-scale control and optimization, and many integrated cores (MlCs) operating in multiple-instruction multiple-data mode are used for a molecular dynamics simulation of the solid particles at the meso-scale. Many cores operating in single-instruction multiple- data mode, such as general purpose graphics processing units (GPGPUs), are employed for direct numerical simulation of the fluid flow at the micro-scale using the lattice Boltzmann method. This architecture is also expected to be efficient for the multi-scale simulation of other comolex systems.展开更多
