Design of in-line multipoint initiation control system

In order to improve the power of initiating explosive warheads, besides exploring new type of high explosive, multipoint initiation technology becomes the research focus. With research on electronic safety and arming devices (ESADs), pulse power devices and slapper detonators, a hardware control circuit was designed for multipoint initiation control system based on complex programmable logic device ( CPLD ). In addition, a real-time monitoring interface based on virtual instru- ments technology was designed by the prevailing software of Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineer- ing Workbench (LabVIEW). It provides users a real-time status of the hardware circuit system. Mo- reover, a series of experiments were done on the software and hardware platform. The results show that the signals transmission, collection, analysis and display can be realized reliably through a serial port line. It is verified that using a serial bus controller for multiple initiators is reasonable. Successful design of the platform will play an important foundation for the theory and engineering of the fu- ture weapon system. Surely, it will become one of the development directions for intelligent initia- tion system. 展开更多

A Homotopy Method for Continuous-Time Model-Free LQR Control Based on Policy Iteration

In recent years,reinforcement learning control theory has been well developed.However,model-free value iteration needs many iterations to achieve the desired precision,and modelfree policy iteration requires an initial stabilizing control policy.It is significant to propose a fast model-free algorithm to solve the continuous-time linear quadratic control problem without an initial stabilizing control policy.In this paper,we construct a homotopy path on which each point corresponds to an linear quadratic regulator problem.Based on policy iteration,model-based and model-free homotopy algorithms are proposed to solve the optimal control problem of continuous-time linear systems along the homotopy path.Our algorithms are speeded up using first-order differential information and do not require an initial stabilizing control policy.Finally,several practical examples are used to illustrate our results. 展开更多

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Zhenjingdingzhi decoction in treating insomnia with Qi-deficiency of heart and gallbladder.METHODS: We conducted a double-blind,randomized,controlled trial involving 100 patients with insomnia of Qi-deficiency of heart and gallbladder.Patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(n = 50) and the control group(n = 50) according to a random number table. The treatment group was given Zhenjingdingzhi decoction,while the control group was treated with Suanzaoren decoction. the pharmacological treatment lasted for 8weeks. The clinical efficacy was assessed by using Spiegel scale,Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) syndrome scores.RESULTS: Comparing Spiegel scores between the two groups at 4 and 8 weeks,the differences in curative effect between the two groups were both significant(both P < 0.05). The total effective rate was46% in the treatment group and 27.7% in the control group at 4 weeks,and 80% and 53.2% at 8weeks,respectively; After 8 weeks,PSQI scores showed that the total effective rates differed significantly between the two groups(P < 0.01): 84% in the treatment group and 59.6% in the control group; In improving sleep quality and sleep duration,the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).TCM syndrome,especially insomnia and palpitation,was improved better in the treatment group after 8 weeks as compared to that in the control group(P < 0.05). The total effective rate of the two groups was 84% and 66%,respectively.CONCLUSION: Zhenjingdingzhi decoction is effective and safe for the treatment of insomnia with Qi-deficiency of heart and gallbladder,especially for improving sleep quality and sleep duration. 展开更多
