This wide range of applications has attractedmany researchers to this field. Inspired by the existing recognition systems, this paper proposes a new and efficient human-object interaction recognition(HOIR) model which is based on modeling human pose and scene featureinformation. There are different aspects involved in an interaction, includingthe humans, the objects, the various body parts of the human, and the backgroundscene. Themain objectives of this research include critically examiningthe importance of all these elements in determining the interaction, estimatinghuman pose through image foresting transform (IFT), and detecting the performedinteractions based on an optimizedmulti-feature vector. The proposedmethodology has six main phases. The first phase involves preprocessing theimages. During preprocessing stages, the videos are converted into imageframes. Then their contrast is adjusted, and noise is removed. In the secondphase, the human-object pair is detected and extracted from each image frame. The third phase involves the identification of key body parts of the detectedhumans using IFT. The fourth phase relates to three different kinds of featureextraction techniques. Then these features are combined and optimized duringthe fifth phase. The optimized vector is used to classify the interactions in thelast phase. TheMSRDaily Activity 3D dataset has been used to test this modeland to prove its efficiency. The proposed system obtains an average accuracyof 91.7% on this dataset.展开更多

The results show that the average age of employees, professional proportion, and the average assesses and executives' shareholdings have no significant impact with P/B. The industry statistics revealed no significant impact between average age and P/B because each group of age has its own advantages. By using these indicators, the author can improve the human resources information voluntary disclosure, make the disclosure of information comparable, and provide the empirical reference to the listed companies.展开更多

Acoustic, being one of the most familiar channels for human information conveyance, holdsconsiderable potential for harnessing in panoramic perception. In nature, the spider is able to sense acoustic-inducedair particle motion using a slender web. The unique acoustic response mechanism approaches maximum physicalefficiency, which is much better than all previously known acoustic responsiveness of tympanic membranes. Herein, inspired by such unique structural and functional features of the spider auditory system, we propose a bio-inspiredweb-like structure that exhibits superior mechanical compliance (23.6 ~ 0.016 μm/Pa), high sensitivity (9.36 mm/s/Pa@100 Hz), excellent low-frequency response (10 Hz in experiment, 1 Hz in simulation), fine frequency resolution(0.05 Hz) and inherent directionality to acoustic. These excellent features demonstrate that the bio-inspired web-likestructure is well-suited for high-performance acoustic detection and holds potential for panoramic acousticperception. Meanwhile, the sensing system demonstrates promise in automatic driving, disaster monitoring and earlywarning, human-computer interaction, national defense security, etc.展开更多

The growing PHY layer capabilities of WiFi has made it possible to reuse WiFi signals for both communication and sensing. Sensing via WiFi would enable remote sensing without wearable sensors, simultaneous perception and data transmission without extra communication infrastructure, and contactless sensing in privacy-preserving mode. Due to the popularity of WiFi devices and the ubiquitous deployment of WiFi networks, WiFi-based sensing networks, if fully connected, would potentially rank as one of the world's largest wireless sensor networks. Yet the concept of wireless and sensorless sensing is not the simple combination of WiFi and radar. It seeks breakthroughs from dedicated radar systems, and aims to balance between low cost and high accuracy, to meet the rising demand for pervasive environment perception in everyday life. Despite increasing research interest, wireless sensing is still in its infancy. Through introductions on basic principles and working prototypes, we review the feasibilities and limitations of wireless, sensorless, and contactless sensing via WiFi. We envision this article as a brief primer on wireless sensing for interested readers to explore this open and largely unexplored field and create next-generation wireless and mobile computing applications.展开更多
