Firstly, the variation trends of the dimension due to centrifugal force generated in different wheel speeds were studied and the effect of stress stiffening and spin softening was presented. Triangular heat flux distribution model was adopted to determine temperature distribution in grinding process. Temperature field cloud pictures were obtained by the finite element software. Then, dimension variation trends of wheel structure were acquired by considering the thermo-mechanical characteristic under combined action of centrifugal force and grinding heat at different speeds. A method of online dynamic monitoring and automatic compensation for dimension error of indexable insert was proposed. 文摘Climate change poses a profound threat to mountain agro-ecosystems,particularly in the Himalayan region of West Bengal,India,by disrupting precipitation patterns, increasing temperature variability, and intensifying extreme weather events.Despite growing evidence of climate change impacts, there remains a critical research gap in understanding how socioeconomic factors drive farmers' adaptation strategies to climate change in this vulnerable region. This study examines how farmers in the Himalayan region of West Bengal,India, perceived and responded to the growing impacts of climate change on mountain agro-ecosystems.Drawing on cross-sectional data from 370 farm households selected through multistage sampling, the research employs a combination of analytical tools, including the severity index(SI) to assess farmers' perceptions to climate change, the adaptation index(AI) to evaluate adaptive responses, the Garrett's ranking technique to prioritize constraints, and the ordered logistic regression to identify key socioeconomic drivers of adaptation.Findings reveal a high level of climate awareness among farmers, particularly regarding the increase in weather extremes(SI=74.87%),increase in temperature(SI=72.31%),and irregular rainfall patterns and highly erratic rainfall(SI=62.52%).The most commonly adopted strategies include adopting intercropping and mixed cropping systems(AI=0.613),adoption of the integrated farming system model(AI=0.600),and shift towards non-farm employment(AI=0.608),while the adoption of climate-resilient crop varieties and improved irrigation remains limited.Regression analysis highlights that education(regression coefficient=0.38),average landholding size(regression coefficient=1.21),and access to daily weather forecast information(regression coefficient=1.92) significantly promote adaptive behaviour, whereas age(regression coefficient= –0.09) and gender(regression coefficient= –0.76) are negatively associated.Institutional constraints, particularly unavailability of institutional credit, emerge as primary barriers. The study underscores the urgent need for region-specific,inclusive policy frameworks that enhance climate advisory services, support technology dissemination, and empower marginalized groups in the Himalayan region of West Bengal.By fostering informed, equitable, and resilient agricultural systems, these strategies can significantly strengthen the adaptive capacity of mountain farming communities and contribute to sustainable development under a changing climate.

文摘Chain graphs are{2K_(2),C_(3),C_(5)}-free graphs.Balaban index and sum-Balaban index are two important topological indices. In this paper,we concentrate on the subclass of bicyclic connected chain graphs, identifying the extremal graphs that exhibit the minimum or maximum Balaban index and sum-Balaban index within this class. Moreover,we provide a systematic ordering of all bicyclic connected chain graphs according to the magnitude of their Balaban index and sum-Balaban index.
文摘This commentary critically appraises the study by Li et al which pioneered the exploration of the triglyceride-glucose(TyG)index as a prognostic marker in hepatitis B virus-related advanced hepatocellular carcinoma patients undergoing combined camrelizumab and lenvatinib therapy. While we acknowledge the study’s clinical relevance in proposing an easily accessible metabolic biomarker,we delve into the mechanistic plausibility linking insulin resistance to immunotherapy response and angiogenic inhibition. We further critically examine the methodological limitations, including the retrospective design, the populationspecific TyG cut-off value, and unaddressed metabolic confounders. We highlight the imperative for future research to validate its utility across diverse etiologies and treatment settings, and to unravel the underlying immunometabolic pathways.

文摘Using unscientific agricultural methods can harm human health by increasing harmful nitrate(NO_(3)−)levels in groundwater,as observed in the Yinchuan Plain. This research utilized hydrochemical data, dual isotopic data, the MixSIAR model, and the uncertainty index(UI90)to detect the potential sources of groundwater NO_(3)−,track NO_(3)−conversion processes, and calculate the apportionment of each groundwater NO_(3)−source in the agricultural lands of the Yinchuan Plain. The results show that soil organic nitrogen accounted for 49.4%,and N-fertilizers contributed 30.4%,making them the two main contributors to NO_(3)-contamination in groundwater.Long-term N-fertilization enhances soil organic nitrogen accumulation, resulting in NO_(3)−leaching into groundwater during irrigation. The highest uncertainty regarding soil organic nitrogen and N-fertilizers may stem from changes in groundwater flow patterns, unbalanced N-fertilization,irrigation,and precipitation.Denitrification is the dominant process, resulting in lower NO_(3)−concentrations in groundwater in most areas. As a result, most groundwater in the Yinchuan Plain is generally safe for human consumption, except the specific areas in Qingtongxia City and Wuzhong City.Flood irrigation can increase the leaching of NO_(3)−into groundwater, and the repeated recharge of groundwater contaminated with high NO_(3)−levels could also be a potential source of NO_(3)−contamination in agricultural areas. This research provides scientific guidance for sustainable groundwater management in the Yinchuan Plain, mitigating the risk of groundwater NO_(3)−pollution.

文摘BACKGROUND Timely and accurate evaluation of mental disorders in adolescents using appropriate mental health literacy assessment tools is essential for improving their mental health literacy levels.AIM To develop an evaluation index system for the mental health literacy of adolescent patients with mental disorders, providing a scientific, comprehensive, and reliable tool for the monitoring and intervention of mental health literacy of such patients.METHODS From December 2022 to June 2023,the evaluation index system for mental health literacy of adolescents with mental disorders was developed through literature reviews,semi-structured interviews, expert letter consultations, and the analytic hierarchy process.Based on this index system,a self-assessment questionnaire was compiled and administered to 305 adolescents with mental disorders to test the reliability and validity of the index system.RESULTS The final evaluation index system for mental health literacy of adolescents with mental disorders included 4 first-level indicators,10 second-level indicators, and 52 third-level indicators. The overall Cronbach’sαcoefficient of the index system was 0.957,with a partial reliability of 0.826 and a content validity index of 0.975.The cumulative variance contribution rate of 10 common factors was 66.491%.The correlation coefficients between each dimension and the total questionnaire ranged from 0.672 to 0.724,while the correlation coefficients in each dimension ranged from 0.389 to 0.705.CONCLUSION The evaluation index system for mental health literacy of adolescents with mental disorders, developed in this study, demonstrated notable reliability and validity, making it a valuable tool for evaluating mental health literacy in this population.
文摘BACKGROUND Perioperative anesthesia management of obese patients presents significant challenges as traditional total body weight-based dosing fails to achieve optimal anesthetic effects due to altered pharmacokinetic characteristics including abnormal drug distribution and clearance.Rocuronium exhibits markedly different distribution patterns in obese patients, with conventional weight correction methods inadequately addressing individual muscle mass variations that critically influence drug distribution.AIM To investigate the quantitative relationship between skeletal muscle index(SMI)and rocuronium distribution volume in obese colorectal cancer patients, establish a population pharmacokinetic model, and develop individualized dosing strategies based on muscle mass.METHODS A retrospective cohort study was conducted, including 100 obese patients(body mass index≥30 kg/m^(2))who underwent elective radical colorectal cancer surgery at our hospital from June 2023 to January 2025.Skeletal muscle mass was measured using InBody 260 body composition analyzer and SMI was calculated to assess muscle mass, with male SMI<7.0 kg/m^(2) and female SMI<5.7 kg/m^(2)as diagnostic criteria for sarcopenia.Plasma rocuronium concentrations were detected by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry, and nonlinear mixed-effect modeling was used to establish population pharmacokinetic modeling.Stepwise regression was used to screen covariates, and dosing regimens were optimized through Monte Carlo simulation. The primary endpoint was targeted plasma concentration achievement rate, and the secondary endpoint was postoperative residual muscle relaxation incidence.RESULTS Among 100 patients,35(35.0%)had sarcopenia and 65(65.0%)did not.Patients in the sarcopenia group were older(64.1±9.8 years vs 54.2±10.9 years,P<0.001)and had significantly lower SMI(6.2±0.8 kg/m^(2)vs 8.4±1.2 kg/m^(2),P<0.001).SMI showed strong positive correlation with rocuronium steady-state distribution volume(r=0.718,P<0.001)and moderate negative correlation with clearance(r=-0.502,P<0.001).A two-compartment population pharmacokinetic model was successfully established, with SMI being the most important covariate affecting central compartment distribution volume(△OFV=-41.2,P<0.001).Model validation showed bootstrap successful convergence rate of 92.3%,and 92.1%of observed values fell within prediction intervals in predicted concentration versus predicted concentration. The SMI-based individualized dosing regimen improved target exposure achievement rate from 82.0%in traditional regimen to 93.5%(P=0.009),and reduced postoperative residual muscle relaxation incidence from 13.0%to 3.5%(P=0.018).The sarcopenia group showed the most significant improvement in achievement rate, from 71.4%to 93.8%(P=0.017).CONCLUSION SMI shows strong correlation with rocuronium distribution volume in obese colorectal cancer patients and is a key factor affecting drug distribution.SMI-based individualized dosing strategies can significantly improve target exposure achievement rate and reduce postoperative residual muscle relaxation incidence, providing scientific evidence for precision anesthesia management in obese patients.
文摘The Phewa watershed is under constant landslide threat because of its complicated topography, climate, and biology. The floral structure of landslide-prone areas possesses a significant impact on determining the ecological processes involved in slope stabilization.Plant roots, for example, serve as physical anchors in the soil, enhancing slope stability. Therefore, this study aims to determine appropriate plant species that can enhance soil stability in Phewa Watershed by examining their floral structure in landslide areas.Floral diversity was assessed throughout field visits.Ten of the 46 landslides were selected with 15 plots based on aspect, watershed zones, and normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)value.Six plant species were selected to evaluate root traits, uprooting force, and cellulosic testing based on their Important Value Index(IVI)value, native characteristics, and regeneration. The uprooting force was calculated using a‘winch’with a force transducer, while the root characteristics were measured manually and using‘ImageJ software’.Results show that 319 species from 92 families are registered in the buffer zones and landslide scars, and the NDVI suggest that vegetation covers more than 49%of the landslide areas. The floral composition of the landslides in the 15 plots contains 140 species from 52 families, with Poaceae dominating. In six plant species, the Ochiai index suggests a significant level of association. The uprooting force is correlated to the root diameter and number but is insignificant in terms of root length and area.Saccharum spontaneum is the best option for landslide stability based on uprooting force(882.63±245.175)N,cellulose content(67.038±4.766)%and root number characteristic(69.333±24.338)whereas Themeda arundinacea is preferred due to its root diameter traits(0.054±0.022)cm.Finally,it emphasizes the significance of selecting key species in lowering the risk of landslides, strengthening soil stability, and building resilient ecosystems in susceptible watershed areas.
