With the evolution of next-generation communication networks,ensuring robust Core Network(CN)architecture and data security has become paramount.This paper addresses critical vulnerabilities in the architecture of CN ...With the evolution of next-generation communication networks,ensuring robust Core Network(CN)architecture and data security has become paramount.This paper addresses critical vulnerabilities in the architecture of CN and data security by proposing a novel framework based on blockchain technology that is specifically designed for communication networks.Traditional centralized network architectures are vulnerable to Distributed Denial of Service(DDoS)attacks,particularly in roaming scenarios where there is also a risk of private data leakage,which imposes significant operational demands.To address these issues,we introduce the Blockchain-Enhanced Core Network Architecture(BECNA)and the Secure Decentralized Identity Authentication Scheme(SDIDAS).The BECNA utilizes blockchain technology to decentralize data storage,enhancing network security,stability,and reliability by mitigating Single Points of Failure(SPoF).The SDIDAS utilizes Decentralized Identity(DID)technology to secure user identity data and streamline authentication in roaming scenarios,significantly reducing the risk of data breaches during cross-network transmissions.Our framework employs Ethereum,free5GC,Wireshark,and UERANSIM tools to create a robust,tamper-evident system model.A comprehensive security analysis confirms substantial improvements in user privacy and network security.Simulation results indicate that our approach enhances communication CNs security and reliability,while also ensuring data security.展开更多

Objective:To analyze the related factors affecting the professional identity of nursing students before and after clinical practice,hoping to provide reference for the career development and education of nursing stude...Objective:To analyze the related factors affecting the professional identity of nursing students before and after clinical practice,hoping to provide reference for the career development and education of nursing students.Methods:A total of 393 undergraduate nursing students of grade 2020 from the Department of Nursing of a university in Shanxi Province were selected.The professional choice motivation,educational attainment expectation,future career planning,professional practice,and employment prospect expectation of nursing students before clinical practice,and the willingness to upgrade educational attainment,professional experience,career development expectation,and employment planning of nursing students after clinical practice were investigated.Through statistical analysis of the survey data,the related influencing factors affecting the professional identity of nursing students before and after clinical practice were explored.Results:The observation of general data showed that the proportion of female students in the survey sample was higher than that of male students,and the proportion of those whose family residence was in rural areas was slightly higher than that in urban areas.The analysis of students’own situation showed that nursing students chose the nursing major because of the high expected employment rate,but they were generally anxious about the employment prospect before the internship,showing a contradictory mentality.The analysis of students’professional ability showed that nursing students believed that their professional ability was mainly reflected in the vocational adaptability.The analysis of the social environment showed that the educational attainment expectations of nursing students were mainly undergraduate and master’s degrees,and they preferred to engage in clinical nursing work rather than nursing research.The analysis on the selection of internship hospitals shows that nursing students’choice of internship hospitals is mainly influenced by the duration of the internship,and they consider the correlation between the selection of internship hospitals and future employment decisions to be low.The analysis on the surrounding environment such as family and school shows that the professional identity of nursing students is mainly influenced by the opinions of school teachers and parents,but the occupations of most of the family members of nursing students are not related to medicine.Conclusion:Targeted intervention strategies should be formulated based on the relevant influencing factors that affect the professional identity of nursing students before and after clinical internship,to enhance the professional identity and employment confidence of nursing students,and promote the healthy and sustainable development of nursing education and the medical service industry.展开更多
This study focuses on Chinese social media platforms(Weibo and Douyin),adopting a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative research to explore patterns of code-switching in online language and its...This study focuses on Chinese social media platforms(Weibo and Douyin),adopting a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative research to explore patterns of code-switching in online language and its role in identity negotiation among internet users.Quantitative analysis of 208 valid questionnaires and subsequent qualitative discourse analysis reveal that 83%of users unconsciously engage in Chinese-English code-switching,primarily demonstrating intra-sentential switching patterns where English words embed as salient“figures”against the Chinese“ground.”Results of the Chi-square test indicate significant correlations between code-switching frequency,types,and users’identity dimensions(p<0.05).Data identified three identity functions:cultural belonging,in-group signaling,and persona curation.The study confirms that code-switching in digital contexts has transcended the level of linguistic efficiency to become an important social infrastructure for internet users to construct their identities.展开更多
The integration of artificial intelligence(AI)with advanced power technologies is transforming energy system management,particularly through real-time data monitoring and intelligent decision-making driven by Artifici...The integration of artificial intelligence(AI)with advanced power technologies is transforming energy system management,particularly through real-time data monitoring and intelligent decision-making driven by Artificial Intelligence Generated Content(AIGC).However,the openness of power system channels and the resource-constrained nature of power sensors have led to new challenges for the secure transmission of power data and decision instructions.Although traditional public key cryptographic primitives can offer high security,the substantial key management and computational overhead associated with these primitives make them unsuitable for power systems.To ensure the real-time and security of power data and command transmission,we propose a lightweight identity authentication scheme tailored for power AIGC systems.The scheme utilizes lightweight symmetric encryption algorithms,minimizing the resource overhead on power sensors.Additionally,it incorporates a dynamic credential update mechanism,which can realize the rotation and update of temporary credentials to ensure anonymity and security.We rigorously validate the security of the scheme using the Real-or-Random(ROR)model and AVISPA simulation,and the results show that our scheme can resist various active and passive attacks.Finally,performance comparisons and NS3 simulation results demonstrate that our proposed scheme offers enhanced security features with lower overhead,making it more suitable for power AIGC systems compared to existing solutions.展开更多

BACKGROUND Global tumor incidence rises and therapies advance,driving oncology nursing specialization.Granting nurses prescriptive authority optimizes care but polarizes nurses'attitudes due to factors like risk a...BACKGROUND Global tumor incidence rises and therapies advance,driving oncology nursing specialization.Granting nurses prescriptive authority optimizes care but polarizes nurses'attitudes due to factors like risk and competence,hindering policy implementation.AIM To investigate the current status of the attitudes of oncology specialist nurses toward having prescribing authority,specifically concerning symptom management and supportive care in oncology practice,and we conducted a path analysis of their influencing factors.METHODS As participants in the survey,oncology specialist nurses working in hospitals of different grades in Jiangsu Province were selected from March 2025 to May 2025 using a stratified sampling method.The questionnaires were administered using the general information questionnaire,the beliefs and attitudes about nurses'prescriptive authority scale,the nurses'professional identity scale,and the selfefficacy scale.Pearson’s method was used to analyze the correlation between beliefs and attitudes about the prescriptive authority,professional identity,and self-efficacy of nurses.Multiple linear regression was performed to analyze the factors influencing the beliefs and attitudes of nurses’prescriptive authority.The Amos plug-in was used to construct structural equation models to analyze the influencing pathways.RESULTS A total of 329 questionnaires were distributed,and 328 valid questionnaires were returned(effective recovery rate:99.70%).The total score of the 328 oncology nurses on the beliefs and attitudes about nurses'prescriptive authority scale was 101.88±15.13,indicating a moderately high level.Univariate analysis revealed that gender and hospital grade were associated with this score(P<0.05).The Pearson correlation analysis revealed that self-efficacy was positively correlated with the scores of the beliefs and attitudes about nurses’prescriptive authority scale and the nurses’professional identity scale(r=0.4999,P<0.0001 and r=0.7048,P<0.05,respectively),whereas occupational identity was positively correlated only with the former(r=0.6209,P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis revealed occupational identity and self-efficacy as the factors influencing the scores of the beliefs and attitudes about nurses’prescriptive authority scale(P<0.05).The results of the path analysis revealed that selfefficacy significantly positively affected nurses’occupational identity and their beliefs and attitudes about having prescriptive authority;occupational identity played a mediating role between the two,with a mediating effect accounting for 54.46% of the total effect,and the structural equation model was well-fitted.CONCLUSION Oncology nurses have more positive attitudes toward prescriptive authority.In addition,self-efficacy positively and indirectly affects nurses’attitudes toward prescriptive authority through the mediating effect of occupational identity.This can be used as a basis for clinical practice to take targeted measures to improve nurses’self-efficacy and occupational identity,thus creating favorable conditions for effectively implementing the policy of prescriptive authority.展开更多

In the wave of internet culture,short videos have become an indispensable medium for social communication.The metaphorical hot words contained within them serve as a unique linguistic phenomenon that leads topics and ...In the wave of internet culture,short videos have become an indispensable medium for social communication.The metaphorical hot words contained within them serve as a unique linguistic phenomenon that leads topics and focuses attention,greatly enriching the expressive layers and rhetorical charm of short videos,and significantly enhancing the video’s theme orientation and emotional identification.This research aims to explore the relationship between the use of metaphorical Internet buzzwords in short videos and the thematic and emotional orientation.The study adopts a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,taking 10 videos with over 10,000 likes posted by a well-known blogger on Xiaohongshu in 2024 as the research object,transcribing the text,forming research corpora,and conducting multi-dimensional cognitive analysis on them.The study shows that about half of short videos contain metaphorical hot words.Different types of metaphorical hot words can trigger different emotional reactions from fans,especially humorous metaphorical hot words that can stimulate fans’emotional identification and resonance.In addition,in terms of fan participation,videos using metaphorical hot words tend to attract more fan attention than those that do not:these videos not only attract more fans to watch and like,but also trigger more comments and sharing behaviors.In summary,short videos cleverly use metaphors to create internet hot words,significantly enhancing the video’s thematic guidance and emotional resonance,manifested in creating popular topics,clarifying guiding themes,enhancing content attractiveness,and stimulating strong emotional identification,thereby promoting interactive behaviors such as likes and shares.These findings provide a reference for research in related fields such as metaphor,communication studies,and sociology.展开更多

Selective regulation of gene expression across distinct brain regions is crucial for establishing and maintaining subdivision identities.DNA methylation,a key regulator of gene transcription,modulates transcriptional ...Selective regulation of gene expression across distinct brain regions is crucial for establishing and maintaining subdivision identities.DNA methylation,a key regulator of gene transcription,modulates transcriptional activity through the conversion of 5-methylcytosine(5mC)to 5-hydroxymethylcytosine(5hmC).While DNA methylation is hypothesized to play an essential role in shaping brain identity by influencing gene expression patterns,its direct contribution,especially in primates,remains largely unexplored.This study examined DNA methylation landscapes and transcriptional profiles across four brain regions,including the cortex,cerebellum,striatum,and hippocampus,using samples from 12 rhesus monkeys.The cerebellum exhibited distinct epigenetic and transcriptional signatures,with differentially methylated regions(DMRs)significantly enriched in metabolic pathways.Notably,genes harboring clustered differentially hydroxymethylated regions(DhMRs)overlapped with those implicated in schizophrenia.Moreover,5mC located1 kb upstream of the ATG start codon was correlated with gene expression and exhibited region-specific associations with 5hmC.These findings provide insights into the coordinated regulation of cerebellum-specific 5mC and5hmC,highlighting their potential roles in defining cerebellar identity and contributing to neuropsychiatric diseases.展开更多
Quantum dialogue(QD)realizes the real-time secure bidirectional quantum communication.Measurement-deviceindependent(MDI)QD can resist all possible attacks focusing on the imperfect measurement devices and enhance QD’...Quantum dialogue(QD)realizes the real-time secure bidirectional quantum communication.Measurement-deviceindependent(MDI)QD can resist all possible attacks focusing on the imperfect measurement devices and enhance QD’s practical security.However,in practical applications,any secure communication requires identity authentication as a prerequisite.In this paper,we propose an MDI QD protocol with bidirectional identity authentication.The practical communication parties can first authenticate the identity of each other simultaneously before the message exchange.In theory,our MDI QD protocol has unconditional security and the communication parties can exchange 1.5 bits of messages in each communication round with linear optical Bell state measurement.We numerically simulate the secrecy message capacity of our MDI QD protocol.Our protocol has two advantages.First,it can effectively resist the impersonation attack and enhance MDI QD’s practical security.Second,it does not require keys to assist the message exchange and has relatively high efficiency.Our protocol has application potential in the future quantum communication field.展开更多

The rapid evolution of quantum computing poses significant threats to traditional cryptographic schemes,particularly in Decentralized Finance(DeFi)systems that rely on legacy mechanisms like RSA and ECDSA for digital ...The rapid evolution of quantum computing poses significant threats to traditional cryptographic schemes,particularly in Decentralized Finance(DeFi)systems that rely on legacy mechanisms like RSA and ECDSA for digital identity verification.This paper proposes a quantum-resilient,blockchain-based identity verification framework designed to address critical challenges in privacy preservation,scalability,and post-quantum security.The proposed model integrates Post-quantum Cryptography(PQC),specifically lattice-based cryptographic primitives,with Decentralized Identifiers(DIDs)and Zero-knowledge Proofs(ZKPs)to ensure verifiability,anonymity,and resistance to quantum attacks.A dual-layer architecture is introduced,comprising an identity layer for credential generation and validation,and an application layer for DeFi protocol integration.To evaluate its performance,the framework is tested on multiple real-world DeFi platforms using metrics such as verification latency,throughput,attack resistance,energy efficiency,and quantum attack simulation.The results demonstrate that the proposed framework achieves 90%latency reduction and over 35%throughput improvement compared to traditional blockchain identity solutions.It also exhibits a high quantum resistance score(95/100),with successful secure verification under simulated quantum adversaries.The revocation mechanism—implemented using Merkle-tree-based proofs—achieves average response times under 40 ms,and the system maintains secure operations with energy consumption below 9 J per authentication cycle.Additionally,the paper presents a security and cost tradeoff analysis using ZKP schemes such as Bulletproofs and STARKs,revealing superior bits-per-byte efficiency and reduced proof sizes.Real-world adoption scenarios,including integration with six major DeFi protocols,indicate a 25%increase in verified users and a 15%improvement in Total Value Locked(TVL).The proposed solution is projected to remain secure until 2041(basic version)and 2043(advanced version),ensuring long-term sustainability and future-proofing against evolving quantum threats.This work establishes a scalable,privacy-preserving identity model that aligns with emerging post-quantum security standards for decentralized ecosystems.展开更多

文摘With the evolution of next-generation communication networks,ensuring robust Core Network(CN)architecture and data security has become paramount.This paper addresses critical vulnerabilities in the architecture of CN and data security by proposing a novel framework based on blockchain technology that is specifically designed for communication networks.Traditional centralized network architectures are vulnerable to Distributed Denial of Service(DDoS)attacks,particularly in roaming scenarios where there is also a risk of private data leakage,which imposes significant operational demands.To address these issues,we introduce the Blockchain-Enhanced Core Network Architecture(BECNA)and the Secure Decentralized Identity Authentication Scheme(SDIDAS).The BECNA utilizes blockchain technology to decentralize data storage,enhancing network security,stability,and reliability by mitigating Single Points of Failure(SPoF).The SDIDAS utilizes Decentralized Identity(DID)technology to secure user identity data and streamline authentication in roaming scenarios,significantly reducing the risk of data breaches during cross-network transmissions.Our framework employs Ethereum,free5GC,Wireshark,and UERANSIM tools to create a robust,tamper-evident system model.A comprehensive security analysis confirms substantial improvements in user privacy and network security.Simulation results indicate that our approach enhances communication CNs security and reliability,while also ensuring data security.

文摘Objective:To analyze the related factors affecting the professional identity of nursing students before and after clinical practice,hoping to provide reference for the career development and education of nursing students.Methods:A total of 393 undergraduate nursing students of grade 2020 from the Department of Nursing of a university in Shanxi Province were selected.The professional choice motivation,educational attainment expectation,future career planning,professional practice,and employment prospect expectation of nursing students before clinical practice,and the willingness to upgrade educational attainment,professional experience,career development expectation,and employment planning of nursing students after clinical practice were investigated.Through statistical analysis of the survey data,the related influencing factors affecting the professional identity of nursing students before and after clinical practice were explored.Results:The observation of general data showed that the proportion of female students in the survey sample was higher than that of male students,and the proportion of those whose family residence was in rural areas was slightly higher than that in urban areas.The analysis of students’own situation showed that nursing students chose the nursing major because of the high expected employment rate,but they were generally anxious about the employment prospect before the internship,showing a contradictory mentality.The analysis of students’professional ability showed that nursing students believed that their professional ability was mainly reflected in the vocational adaptability.The analysis of the social environment showed that the educational attainment expectations of nursing students were mainly undergraduate and master’s degrees,and they preferred to engage in clinical nursing work rather than nursing research.The analysis on the selection of internship hospitals shows that nursing students’choice of internship hospitals is mainly influenced by the duration of the internship,and they consider the correlation between the selection of internship hospitals and future employment decisions to be low.The analysis on the surrounding environment such as family and school shows that the professional identity of nursing students is mainly influenced by the opinions of school teachers and parents,but the occupations of most of the family members of nursing students are not related to medicine.Conclusion:Targeted intervention strategies should be formulated based on the relevant influencing factors that affect the professional identity of nursing students before and after clinical internship,to enhance the professional identity and employment confidence of nursing students,and promote the healthy and sustainable development of nursing education and the medical service industry.
文摘This study focuses on Chinese social media platforms(Weibo and Douyin),adopting a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative research to explore patterns of code-switching in online language and its role in identity negotiation among internet users.Quantitative analysis of 208 valid questionnaires and subsequent qualitative discourse analysis reveal that 83%of users unconsciously engage in Chinese-English code-switching,primarily demonstrating intra-sentential switching patterns where English words embed as salient“figures”against the Chinese“ground.”Results of the Chi-square test indicate significant correlations between code-switching frequency,types,and users’identity dimensions(p<0.05).Data identified three identity functions:cultural belonging,in-group signaling,and persona curation.The study confirms that code-switching in digital contexts has transcended the level of linguistic efficiency to become an important social infrastructure for internet users to construct their identities.
文摘The integration of artificial intelligence(AI)with advanced power technologies is transforming energy system management,particularly through real-time data monitoring and intelligent decision-making driven by Artificial Intelligence Generated Content(AIGC).However,the openness of power system channels and the resource-constrained nature of power sensors have led to new challenges for the secure transmission of power data and decision instructions.Although traditional public key cryptographic primitives can offer high security,the substantial key management and computational overhead associated with these primitives make them unsuitable for power systems.To ensure the real-time and security of power data and command transmission,we propose a lightweight identity authentication scheme tailored for power AIGC systems.The scheme utilizes lightweight symmetric encryption algorithms,minimizing the resource overhead on power sensors.Additionally,it incorporates a dynamic credential update mechanism,which can realize the rotation and update of temporary credentials to ensure anonymity and security.We rigorously validate the security of the scheme using the Real-or-Random(ROR)model and AVISPA simulation,and the results show that our scheme can resist various active and passive attacks.Finally,performance comparisons and NS3 simulation results demonstrate that our proposed scheme offers enhanced security features with lower overhead,making it more suitable for power AIGC systems compared to existing solutions.

文摘This study investigates community identity in Nanjing’s historic Hehuatang community during urban renewal,revealing tensions between heritage preservation and modernization.Through ethnographic research,three key factors are identified shaping identity:(i)material conditions including series of spatial conflicts around overcrowding,(ii)social tensions such as tenant-aborigine divides and generational misunderstanding,and(iii)institutional governance as top-down policies would exacerbate distrust.Despite 82%of residents expressing place attachment,67%desire relocation due to deteriorating liveability—a paradox highlighting the failure of China’s contemporary performative participation models.The adapted three-layer creativity model underscores the need to reconcile physical renewal with social equity.Findings advocate for co-design processes that integrate resident agency,offering lessons for sustainable urban renewal in rapidly developing contexts.
文摘BACKGROUND Global tumor incidence rises and therapies advance,driving oncology nursing specialization.Granting nurses prescriptive authority optimizes care but polarizes nurses'attitudes due to factors like risk and competence,hindering policy implementation.AIM To investigate the current status of the attitudes of oncology specialist nurses toward having prescribing authority,specifically concerning symptom management and supportive care in oncology practice,and we conducted a path analysis of their influencing factors.METHODS As participants in the survey,oncology specialist nurses working in hospitals of different grades in Jiangsu Province were selected from March 2025 to May 2025 using a stratified sampling method.The questionnaires were administered using the general information questionnaire,the beliefs and attitudes about nurses'prescriptive authority scale,the nurses'professional identity scale,and the selfefficacy scale.Pearson’s method was used to analyze the correlation between beliefs and attitudes about the prescriptive authority,professional identity,and self-efficacy of nurses.Multiple linear regression was performed to analyze the factors influencing the beliefs and attitudes of nurses’prescriptive authority.The Amos plug-in was used to construct structural equation models to analyze the influencing pathways.RESULTS A total of 329 questionnaires were distributed,and 328 valid questionnaires were returned(effective recovery rate:99.70%).The total score of the 328 oncology nurses on the beliefs and attitudes about nurses'prescriptive authority scale was 101.88±15.13,indicating a moderately high level.Univariate analysis revealed that gender and hospital grade were associated with this score(P<0.05).The Pearson correlation analysis revealed that self-efficacy was positively correlated with the scores of the beliefs and attitudes about nurses’prescriptive authority scale and the nurses’professional identity scale(r=0.4999,P<0.0001 and r=0.7048,P<0.05,respectively),whereas occupational identity was positively correlated only with the former(r=0.6209,P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis revealed occupational identity and self-efficacy as the factors influencing the scores of the beliefs and attitudes about nurses’prescriptive authority scale(P<0.05).The results of the path analysis revealed that selfefficacy significantly positively affected nurses’occupational identity and their beliefs and attitudes about having prescriptive authority;occupational identity played a mediating role between the two,with a mediating effect accounting for 54.46% of the total effect,and the structural equation model was well-fitted.CONCLUSION Oncology nurses have more positive attitudes toward prescriptive authority.In addition,self-efficacy positively and indirectly affects nurses’attitudes toward prescriptive authority through the mediating effect of occupational identity.This can be used as a basis for clinical practice to take targeted measures to improve nurses’self-efficacy and occupational identity,thus creating favorable conditions for effectively implementing the policy of prescriptive authority.
文摘This study examines the intersection of emotional trust and cultural identity in artificial intelligence(AI)-generated content,focusing on Chinese Australians.It explores how emotional trust-confidence in the authenticity and intent of AI-created stories-affects their engagement,and the role of cultural identity in shaping these perceptions.Using a qualitative case study approach with semi-structured interviews and analysis of AI materials,the research finds that culturally authentic and emotionally resonant narratives foster higher trust,while misrepresentations cause disengagement.The paper emphasizes the need for cultural nuance and community engagement in AI content creation to support positive identity formation,offering recommendations for emotionally authentic and culturally sensitive digital storytelling.
文摘This work provides a descriptive analysis of the so-called Black American community whose practical consciousness is a result of adopting,and reacting to,both white values and discriminatory terms to constitute their practical activities and so-called cultural identity.Outside of the practices associated with these values and discriminatory terms,there is no sui generis Black American identity and community with its own form of system and social integration that is different from,or diametrically opposes,the Protestant Ethic and the spirit of capitalism of their white counterparts,which would emerge out of that relationship.
文摘In the wave of internet culture,short videos have become an indispensable medium for social communication.The metaphorical hot words contained within them serve as a unique linguistic phenomenon that leads topics and focuses attention,greatly enriching the expressive layers and rhetorical charm of short videos,and significantly enhancing the video’s theme orientation and emotional identification.This research aims to explore the relationship between the use of metaphorical Internet buzzwords in short videos and the thematic and emotional orientation.The study adopts a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,taking 10 videos with over 10,000 likes posted by a well-known blogger on Xiaohongshu in 2024 as the research object,transcribing the text,forming research corpora,and conducting multi-dimensional cognitive analysis on them.The study shows that about half of short videos contain metaphorical hot words.Different types of metaphorical hot words can trigger different emotional reactions from fans,especially humorous metaphorical hot words that can stimulate fans’emotional identification and resonance.In addition,in terms of fan participation,videos using metaphorical hot words tend to attract more fan attention than those that do not:these videos not only attract more fans to watch and like,but also trigger more comments and sharing behaviors.In summary,short videos cleverly use metaphors to create internet hot words,significantly enhancing the video’s thematic guidance and emotional resonance,manifested in creating popular topics,clarifying guiding themes,enhancing content attractiveness,and stimulating strong emotional identification,thereby promoting interactive behaviors such as likes and shares.These findings provide a reference for research in related fields such as metaphor,communication studies,and sociology.
文摘The problem of overseas Chinese identity is a hot spot in the field of overseas Chinese research in recent years.It reflects the Chinese’s cognition,emotion,and behavior of ethnic characteristics.This paper takes Chinese college students with American nationality as the research object,visiting universities in North Carolina and California as visiting scholars and doctoral students,and summarizes and analyzes the identity characteristics of contemporary Chinese American college students and puts forward corresponding suggestions through in-depth interviews with 46 Chinese American college students and 12 Chinese families.

文摘Selective regulation of gene expression across distinct brain regions is crucial for establishing and maintaining subdivision identities.DNA methylation,a key regulator of gene transcription,modulates transcriptional activity through the conversion of 5-methylcytosine(5mC)to 5-hydroxymethylcytosine(5hmC).While DNA methylation is hypothesized to play an essential role in shaping brain identity by influencing gene expression patterns,its direct contribution,especially in primates,remains largely unexplored.This study examined DNA methylation landscapes and transcriptional profiles across four brain regions,including the cortex,cerebellum,striatum,and hippocampus,using samples from 12 rhesus monkeys.The cerebellum exhibited distinct epigenetic and transcriptional signatures,with differentially methylated regions(DMRs)significantly enriched in metabolic pathways.Notably,genes harboring clustered differentially hydroxymethylated regions(DhMRs)overlapped with those implicated in schizophrenia.Moreover,5mC located1 kb upstream of the ATG start codon was correlated with gene expression and exhibited region-specific associations with 5hmC.These findings provide insights into the coordinated regulation of cerebellum-specific 5mC and5hmC,highlighting their potential roles in defining cerebellar identity and contributing to neuropsychiatric diseases.

文摘Quantum dialogue(QD)realizes the real-time secure bidirectional quantum communication.Measurement-deviceindependent(MDI)QD can resist all possible attacks focusing on the imperfect measurement devices and enhance QD’s practical security.However,in practical applications,any secure communication requires identity authentication as a prerequisite.In this paper,we propose an MDI QD protocol with bidirectional identity authentication.The practical communication parties can first authenticate the identity of each other simultaneously before the message exchange.In theory,our MDI QD protocol has unconditional security and the communication parties can exchange 1.5 bits of messages in each communication round with linear optical Bell state measurement.We numerically simulate the secrecy message capacity of our MDI QD protocol.Our protocol has two advantages.First,it can effectively resist the impersonation attack and enhance MDI QD’s practical security.Second,it does not require keys to assist the message exchange and has relatively high efficiency.Our protocol has application potential in the future quantum communication field.
文摘An earlier version of this paper has been presented online at the annual Conference of Canadian Sociological Association,during the Congress of Humanities and Social Sciences in Toronto in June 2025.It explores how rap music in Quebec,particularly through the work of the rap artist Webster and his collective Limoilou Starz(LS),serves as a tool for meaning-making,political expression,and resistance against racial profiling and police brutality experienced by Black youth in Quebec City.The study focuses on the song“SPVQ”(Service de police de la Ville de Québec)as a case study to analyze the encoding and reception of anti-racist messages within rap culture.Webster draws from a global tradition of socio-political rap-like that of African-American rappers KRS-One,LL Cool J,and Tupac-while anchoring his critique in the local realities of Limoilou,a marginalized,racially diverse district of Quebec City.Through a narrative,figurative,semantic,and ideological analysis of the song,the paper reveals how Webster articulates themes of police brutality,structural discrimination,economic marginalization,and resistance.The rapper’s message is both a form of testimony and a civic intervention.His broader activism is analyzed through ethnographic techniques-including participant observation and interviews during workshops,media appearances,and online campaigns.It translates these messages into tangible social practices.To explain the persistence of these injustices,the paper situates the issue within Quebec’s interculturalism framework,which ostensibly promotes dialogue and integration but often masks or even reinforces structural racism.This model maintains a symbolic majority/minority duality and conditions inclusion on conformity to a dominant White Francophone identity,thus rendering racialized youth as perpetual outsiders.
文摘The damage map is an important tool for the investigation of the conservation state of a building,especially when the surveyed element is a property with historical preservation interest.Thereby,we consider that the full understanding of the construction techniques is crucial to diagnose anomalies found in the facades of the buildings.It is very important to know the materials used in the construction and the routine of building maintenance.It is also necessary to emphasize the importance of having historical information about interventions and modifications that the building’s structure suffered over the years in order to obtain data and requirements for the complete configuration of the analyzed building.This article results from a master's research in progress and it aims to present the process of the development of a damage map,seeking its implementation in a real case study,the facades of the Carmo’s Church in the city of Olinda.There are three reasons why we chose this church to study.First,this building is inserted in the Historic Centre of the Town of Olinda,which is inscribed on the UNESCO’s World Heritage list since 1982;second it was built in 1588 configuring the oldest church of the Carmelite Order in Brazil and finally the building has been restored and recovered recently in July 2012 and it is observed that,after four years,we observe some pathological manifestations in their facades.
文摘Grazia Deledda’s literary works explore the deep ties between Sardinian culture,community traditions,and the politics of food.Through vivid food imagery,she sheds light on how meals and eating habits reflect social hierarchies,cultural identity,and power dynamics.By carefully incorporating culinary elements into narrative contexts,she shed light on the fundamental role that food plays in constructing both individual and collective identities.Her portrayals of shared meals,ceremonial feasts,and periods of scarcity function as pointed critiques of the socio-political circumstances of her era,demonstrating the intricate connections between food distribution,consumption patterns,and prevailing power structures(Heyer-Caput,2008,pp.142-47;King,1999,pp.xv-xxii).These narratives simultaneously preserve cultural heritage while exposing deep-seated social inequities,positioning food as both an instrument of cultural continuity and social criticism.Furthermore,Deledda addresses the inherent tensions between established food traditions and emerging regulatory systems,particularly highlighting how agricultural policies profoundly affect local communities(Kozma,2002,pp.87-93;Parasecoli,2019,p.120).This investigation reveals how Deledda’s literary contributions engage meaningfully with contemporary debates surrounding food sovereignty and the broader socio-political implications of food policy implementation.Through careful analysis of these thematic elements,her works provide essential insights into the ways culinary practices reflect wider cultural and political tensions,compelling readers to reassess food’s persistent influence in constructing social realities and collective identity.
文摘The rapid evolution of quantum computing poses significant threats to traditional cryptographic schemes,particularly in Decentralized Finance(DeFi)systems that rely on legacy mechanisms like RSA and ECDSA for digital identity verification.This paper proposes a quantum-resilient,blockchain-based identity verification framework designed to address critical challenges in privacy preservation,scalability,and post-quantum security.The proposed model integrates Post-quantum Cryptography(PQC),specifically lattice-based cryptographic primitives,with Decentralized Identifiers(DIDs)and Zero-knowledge Proofs(ZKPs)to ensure verifiability,anonymity,and resistance to quantum attacks.A dual-layer architecture is introduced,comprising an identity layer for credential generation and validation,and an application layer for DeFi protocol integration.To evaluate its performance,the framework is tested on multiple real-world DeFi platforms using metrics such as verification latency,throughput,attack resistance,energy efficiency,and quantum attack simulation.The results demonstrate that the proposed framework achieves 90%latency reduction and over 35%throughput improvement compared to traditional blockchain identity solutions.It also exhibits a high quantum resistance score(95/100),with successful secure verification under simulated quantum adversaries.The revocation mechanism—implemented using Merkle-tree-based proofs—achieves average response times under 40 ms,and the system maintains secure operations with energy consumption below 9 J per authentication cycle.Additionally,the paper presents a security and cost tradeoff analysis using ZKP schemes such as Bulletproofs and STARKs,revealing superior bits-per-byte efficiency and reduced proof sizes.Real-world adoption scenarios,including integration with six major DeFi protocols,indicate a 25%increase in verified users and a 15%improvement in Total Value Locked(TVL).The proposed solution is projected to remain secure until 2041(basic version)and 2043(advanced version),ensuring long-term sustainability and future-proofing against evolving quantum threats.This work establishes a scalable,privacy-preserving identity model that aligns with emerging post-quantum security standards for decentralized ecosystems.
文摘Teacher professional identity is a comprehensive reflection of teachers’role perception,emotional experiences,and behavioral tendencies towards their profession.It serves as an intrinsic driving force for teachers’professional development and is also a crucial issue in teacher education research.From a global perspective,this study systematically reviews and examines relevant research on the professional identity of international Chinese language teachers(ICLTs).A comparative analysis is conducted between Chinese and foreign scholars’research in terms of theoretical foundations,research subjects,research content,and research methodologies.This comprehensive overview of the current research landscape in this field,along with a summary of existing achievements and identified problems,facilitates the transformation of fragmented research findings on ICLTs’professional identity into a systematic understanding and reveals research gaps.Building upon this foundation,the study proposes future research prospects for the professional identity of ICLTs from aspects such as the construction of a cross-cultural perspective-based teacher professional identity system,the transformation of teacher professional identity in the context of digital transformation,and case studies on ICLTs’professional identity.The aim is to promote high-quality development in both theory and practice of international Chinese language education.

文摘Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)turns into a common neuro progressional disorder.Although gender identity has obtained increasing attention in ADHD researches,its role in ADHD presentation and treatment response remains underexplored.Our review seeks to mainly delve into the effect of gender identity on ADHD,exploring the unique needs of individuals with various gender identities in the context of ADHD symptoms,diagnostic assessment,and treatment,with the goal of supplying theoretical support and practical recommendations for future research and clinical practice.The primary content includes,specifically:(1)Symptom expression differences:Gender identity significantly affects ADHD symptoms;male-identified individuals commonly perform worse in task orientation and attention stability,while female-identified individuals may demonstrate more variability in attention control and executive functions;(2)Diagnosis and treatment:Clinical practice generally neglects the impact of gender identity on ADHD management,with personalized needs of gender-identified individuals frequently not adequately addressed,potentially,affecting treatment outcomes;and(3)Future research directions:Future studies should further assess how gender identity affects the specific mechanisms of ADHD,conduct researches in multicultural contexts,and engage in long-term follow-up studies to evaluate the long-term impact of gender identity on ADHD progression.Besides,enhanced funding and public education on the relationship between gender identity and ADHD are needed to advance the field.
