Obesity has become a global threat to health;however,the available drugs for treating obesity are limited.We investigated the anti-obesity effect of hydroxy-α-sanshool(HAS),an amide derived from the fruit of Zanthoxy...Obesity has become a global threat to health;however,the available drugs for treating obesity are limited.We investigated the anti-obesity effect of hydroxy-α-sanshool(HAS),an amide derived from the fruit of Zanthoxylum bungeanum,which promotes the management of obesity by triggering the browning of white adipose tissue(WAT)targeting the membrane receptor of transient receptor potential vanilloid 1(TRPV1).However,HAS easily undergoes configuration transformation and oxidative degradation.The short peptide CKGGRAKDC or adipose-targeting sequence(ATS)binds specifically to prohibitin on the surface of WAT cells and can be used as recognition assembly to enhance adipocyte targetability.Furthermore,mesoporous silica nanoparticles(MSNs)are widely used in drug delivery systems because of their large specific surface area and pore volume.Therefore,HAS-loaded adipose-targeted MSNs(MSNs-ATS)were developed to enhance the adipocyte targetability,safety,and efficacy of HAS,and tested on mature 3T3-L1 cells and obese mouse models.MSNs-ATS showed higher specificity for adipocyte targetability without obvious toxicity.HAS-loaded MSNs-ATS showed anti-obesity effects superior to those of HAS alone.In conclusion,we successfully developed adipocyte-targeted,HAS-loaded MSNs with good safety and anti-obesity effects.展开更多
Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is a common neurodegenerative disease,and oxidative stress induced by amyloidβ-protein(Aβ)deposition is the key cause of neuronal apoptosis in AD patient.Hydroxy-α-sanshool(HAS)is the predom...Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is a common neurodegenerative disease,and oxidative stress induced by amyloidβ-protein(Aβ)deposition is the key cause of neuronal apoptosis in AD patient.Hydroxy-α-sanshool(HAS)is the predominant flavour substances in the pericarp of Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim.(Rutaceae family),which is a known condiment food and herbal medicine in China.We attempt to comprehensively elucidate the pathway and related mechanisms of HAS therapy on AD through in vivo and in vitro experiments.The results showed that HAS could inhibit cell apoptosis,suppress the reactive oxygen species(ROS),and increase the antioxidative enzymes in Aβ1-42 induced HT22 cells.In vivo,HAS attenuated the learning and memory impairment in senescence-accelerated mouse prone 8(SAMP8)mice,and protected neuronal cells in hippocampus.Interestingly,the 16S rRNA gene sequencing results showed HAS could restore the richness and diversity of the intestinal microbiota,reduce the abundance of Lactobacillus,and increase the abundance of Bateroides and Parabacteroides.Moreover,the contents of 10 metabolites were significantly changed after HAS treatment,which was beneficial to treat AD.In conclusion,HAS could inhibit apoptosis in nerve cells by attenuating Aβinduced oxidative stress level,while it can also influence the metabolic pathways and affect the gut microbiota composition of AD mice.展开更多

According to XRD analysis, the basal spacing d(001) of pillared products dramatically enlarged from 12.7 *! in the Na-montmorillonite to 81 *! in the hydroxy-Fe -montmorillonite and 77.5 *! in mixed hydroxy-Al-Fe-montmorillonite. The N_2 BET surface areas of the pillared montmorillonites also greatly increased to more than 200 m 2/g as compared to about 27 m 2/g for the Na-montmorillonite. IR analysis of hydroxy-Fe, and mixed hydroxy-Al-Fe pillared montmorillonites revealed a new absorption vibration at 1384 cm -1 wavelength. Trace amounts of silver ( Ⅰ ) shows a significant effect on the efficiency of light emission of HDEA during a positive trigonometrical wave pulse was exerted on the solution. The linear relationship between the light intensity and the concentration of silver( Ⅰ ) occurs in the range of 5. 0×10-8 to 3. 0×10-8 mol/L Ag(Ⅰ ) in a medium of KOH-KCl-HDEA (pH= 12. 8). The detection limit of the method is 2. 0×10-8 mol/LAg( Ⅰ ), and the r. s. d. for 1.0×10-7 mo)/L Ag ( Ⅰ ) is 5%. A single-crystal X-ray study shows that the iron atoms lie in a trigonally distorted octahedral environment coordinated to the hydroxy and ketone oxygen atoms of three ligands in the mer configuration Mr=773.57(C42H46N3O8Fe). The crystal is hexagonal with space group P31c; a=15.943(2), c=17.612(4)? V=3877.0(12)?, Z=4, Dc=1.325g/cm3, m=0.445mm-1, F(000)=1634, R=0.0446, wR= 0.1154 for 3085 reflections with I >2s(I). The bond lengths from iron to oxygens are 1.980(1)?for the ketone oxygens and 2.071(1)?for the hydroxy oxygens. Limited information is available concerning the mineralogy of paddy soils in the southeastern China.Using chemical methods in conjunction with X-ray diffractometry, we studied the mineral composition of three paddy so...Limited information is available concerning the mineralogy of paddy soils in the southeastern China.Using chemical methods in conjunction with X-ray diffractometry, we studied the mineral composition of three paddy soils: Jinghua (paddy soil on Quaternary red clay), Fuyang (Hapl-percogenic loamy paddy soil), and Shaoxing (gleyic clayey paddy soil). All the soils contained quartz, mica, vermiculite, chlorite and kaolinite, and the distribution of these minerals varied with soil particle size fractions. The clay fraction of the F’uyang and Shaoxing soils also contained smectite. Although X-ray data did not show the presence of smectite in the Jinghua soil, this mineral was identified by the chemical method, suggesting a transitional property of the mineral in the soil. Hydroxy-Al interlayered minerals were also present in the clay fraction.The amount of smectite in the soils was 31.6 (Shaoxing), 16.5 (Fuyang), and 21.4 (Jinghua) g kg-1; for vermiculite it was 33.3 (Shaoxing), 16.5 (Fuyang), and 8.5 (Jinghua) g kg-1. Smectite was only found in the clay fraction. In contrast, amounts of vermiculite in soil particle size fractions were 3.0~11.4 (sand),2.1~6.0 (coarse silt), 4.6~18.9 (medium silt), 0.9~40.0 (fine silt), and 17.0~108 (clay) g kg-1. The amount of noncrystalline aluminosilicates in the soils in g kg-1 decreased in the order: Shaoxing (2.4) > Jinghua (1.9) > Fuyang (1.7). This study has provided useful mineralogical information that is fundamental in future developmellt of management strategies of the soils.展开更多

Although X-ray data did not show the presence of smectite in the Jinghua soil, this mineral was identified by the chemical method, suggesting a transitional property of the mineral in the soil. Hydroxy-Al interlayered minerals were also present in the clay fraction.The amount of smectite in the soils was 31.6 (Shaoxing), 16.5 (Fuyang), and 21.4 (Jinghua) g kg-1; for vermiculite it was 33.3 (Shaoxing), 16.5 (Fuyang), and 8.5 (Jinghua) g kg-1. Smectite was only found in the clay fraction. In contrast, amounts of vermiculite in soil particle size fractions were 3.0~11.4 (sand),2.1~6.0 (coarse silt), 4.6~18.9 (medium silt), 0.9~40.0 (fine silt), and 17.0~108 (clay) g kg-1. The amount of noncrystalline aluminosilicates in the soils in g kg-1 decreased in the order: Shaoxing (2.4) > Jinghua (1.9) > Fuyang (1.7). This study has provided useful mineralogical information that is fundamental in future developmellt of management strategies of the soils.

文摘Objective: To study the quinoline alkaloids from the ethanol extract of Scolopendra subspinipes mutilans(SSM).Methods: The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by macroporous resin column, medium pressure preparation chromatography, and semi-preparative HPLC. Their structures were elucidated by IR,MS, and NMR experiments.Results: Three quinolone alkaloids were obtained and identified as 3-hydroxy-4-methoxyquinolin-8-yl hydrogen sulfate(1), jineol-8-sulfate(2), and jineol(3), respectively.Conclusion: Compound 1 is a new compound from SSM.
