In our previous work, the reactive dividing wall column(RDWC) was proposed and proved to be effective for selective hydrogenation and separation of C3 stream. In the present paper, the dynamics and control of the proposed RDWC are investigated. Four control structures including composition and temperature controls are proposed. The feed forward controllers are employed in the four control strategies to shorten the dynamic response time, reduce the maximum deviations and offer an immediate adjustment. The control structures are compared by applying them into the RDWC system with 20% disturbances in both the feed flow rate and the feed compositions, and the results are discussed. 展开更多

考虑电制氢辅助的配电网主从博弈电压随机优化控制

高比例新能源并网对配电网电压稳定构成严峻挑战,而氢能凭借其高密度、零碳排、高热值等优势,可作为新型调压资源主动参与电压控制,有效提升系统电压韧性。因此,提出一种利用电制氢(power to hydrogen, P2H)辅助的配电网主从博弈电压控... 高比例新能源并网对配电网电压稳定构成严峻挑战,而氢能凭借其高密度、零碳排、高热值等优势,可作为新型调压资源主动参与电压控制,有效提升系统电压韧性。因此,提出一种利用电制氢(power to hydrogen, P2H)辅助的配电网主从博弈电压控制策略。首先,考虑到配电网运营商、电制氢运营商和储能运营商间的利益冲突,建立P2H参与的主从博弈双层优化模型。以配电网运营商作为领导者,配电网运行成本最小为目标,制定相应的电价补贴,引导电制氢运营商、储能运营商调整自身用电行为,保证配电网的电压稳定性。其次,考虑到实际情况源荷的不确定性,设计了基于拉丁超立方抽样的日内随机优化算法。最后,算例结果表明,所提出的模型能够有效提升配电网电压的稳定性,且配电网运营商总运行成本较不含P2H的场景降低了14.56%,较未设置激励机制的场景降低了5.67%。 展开更多

Biogenic hydrogen sulfide is an odorous, toxic and corrosive gas released from sewage in sewers. To control sulfide generation and emission, nitrate is extensively applied in sewer systems for decades. However, the unexpected sulfide rebound after nitrate addition is being questioned in recent studies. Possible reasons for the sulfide rebounds have been studied,but the mechanism is still unclear, so the countermeasure is not yet proposed. In this study, a lab-scale sewer system was developed for investigating the unexpected sulfide rebounds via the traditional strategy of nitrate addition during 195-days of operation. It was observed that the sulfide pollution was even severe in a sewer receiving nitrate addition. The mechanism for the sulfide rebound can be differentiated into short-term and long-term effects based on the dominant contribution. The accumulation of intermediate elemental sulfur in biofilm resulted in a rapid sulfide rebound via the high-rate sulfur reduction after the depletion of nitrate in a short period. The presence of nitrate in sewer promoted the microorganism proliferation in biofilm, increased the biofilm thickness, re-shaped the microbial community and enhanced biological denitrification and sulfur production, which further weakened the effect of nitrate on sulfide control during the long-term operation. An optimized biofilminitiated sewer process model demonstrated that neither the intermittent nitrate addition nor the continuous nitrate addition was a sustainable strategy for the sulfide control. To minimize the negative impact from sulfide rebounds, a(bi)monthly routine maintenance(e.g., hydraulic flushing with nitrate spike) to remove the proliferative microorganism in biofilm is necessary. 展开更多

氢能具有来源多样、清洁低碳等优点,是未来极具前景的能源形式。在诸多电解制氢路线中,质子交换膜(PEM)电解水由于其宽负荷范围和高响应速度,更适合匹配可再生能源。随着光伏发电成本的不断下降,开发光伏制氢技术,将可再生能源剩余的电... 氢能具有来源多样、清洁低碳等优点,是未来极具前景的能源形式。在诸多电解制氢路线中,质子交换膜(PEM)电解水由于其宽负荷范围和高响应速度,更适合匹配可再生能源。随着光伏发电成本的不断下降,开发光伏制氢技术,将可再生能源剩余的电能转换成氢能,实现整个制氢过程的零碳排放,在“双碳”政策背景下,具有重大战略意义。针对当前光伏制氢仿真仅关注电学特性、动态性差等问题,本文采用Matlab/Simulink平台建立PEM电解水制氢系统电化学热力学动态耦合模型,根据光伏组件和PEM电解水制氢系统参数,匹配设计光伏阵列系统和BUCK变换器参数,使得PEM电解水制氢系统在峰值辐照度下以额定制氢量制氢,实现整个光伏电解水制氢系统的仿真与控制。仿真结果验证了匹配设计的正确性和控制策略的有效性,对光伏PEM电解水制氢技术的研究提供了参考。 展开更多

Addition of H2O2 has been employed to repress bromate formation during ozonation of bromide-containing source water. However, the addition of H2O2 will change the oxidation pathways of organic compounds due to the generation of abundant hydroxyl radicals, which could affect the removal efficacy of trihalomethane precursors via the combination of ozone and biological activated carbon (O3-BAC). In this study, we evaluated the effects of H2O2 addition on bromate formation and trihalomethane formation potential (THMFP) reduction during treatment of bromide-containing (97.6-129.1 μg/L) source water by the O3-BAC process. At an ozone dose of 4.2 mg/L, an H2O2/O3 (g/g) ratio of over 1.0 was required to maintain the bromate concentration below 10.0 μg/L, while a much lower H2O2/O3 ratio was sufficient for a lower ozone dose. An H2O2/O3 (g/g) ratio below 0.3 should be avoided since the bromate concentration will increase with increasing H2O2 dose below this ratio. However, the addition of H2O2 at an ozone dose of 3.2 mg/L and an H2O2/O3 ratio of 1.0 resulted in a 43% decrease in THMFP removal when compared with the O3-BAC process. The optimum H2O2/O3 (g/g) ratio for balancing bromate and trihalomethane control was about 0.7-1.0. Fractionation of organic materials showed that the addition of H2O2 decreased the removal efficacy of the hydrophilic matter fraction of DOC by ozonation and increased the reactivity of the hydrophobic fractions during formation of trihalomethane, which may be the two main reasons responsible for the decrease in THMFP reduction efficacy. Overall, this study clearly demonstrated that it is necessary to balance bromate reduction and THMFP control when adopting an H2O2 addition strategy. 展开更多

This problem was studied in a flat-plate boundary layer in water tunnel by using hydrogen bubble method. Three T-S wave initial amplitudes were tested. The results show that both narrow and wide-spacing streaks depress the transition excited by T-S waves with lower initial amplitude. However, when transition is excited by T-S waves of higher initial amplitude, the narrow-spacing streaks depress the transition, while the wide-spacing streaks promote the transition. The results indicated that three of these catalysts showed the properties of reaction-controlled phasetransfer catalysis, and they had excellent catalytic ability to the oxidation of benzyl alcohol. No other by-products were detected by gas chromatography. Once the hydrogen peroxide was consumed completely, the catalyst precipitated from solvent, and the results of the catalyst recycle showed that the catalyst had high stability. 展开更多

The architectures had the largest electrochemically active surface area(ECSA) of 84.32 mgPdthan Pd Ni nanoparticles(NPs,65.23 mgPd), Pd Ru NPs(23.12 mgPd), Ni Ru NPs(nearly zero), and commercial Pd black(6.01 mgPd), outperforming the referenced catalysts regarding the catalytic characters for hydrazine oxygen reaction(HOR). The synthetic route provides new insight into the preparation of other trimetallic nanocatalysts in fuel cells. 展开更多

A two-staged membrane separation process for hydrogen recovery from refinery gases is introduced. The principle of the gas membrane separation process and the influence of the operation temperatures are analyzed. As the conventional PID controller is difficult to make the operation temperatures steady, a fuzzy self-tuning PID control algorithm is proposed. The application shows that the algorithm is effective, the operation temperatures of both stages can be controlled steadily, and the operation flexibility and adaptability of the hydrogen recovery unit are enhanced with safety. This study lays a foundation to optimize the control of the membrane separation process and thus ensure the membrane performance. 展开更多
