It explores how AI technologies are reshaping teaching, learning, and administration, emphasizing a balance between technological efficiency and humanistic educational values. Design/methodology/approach-Using a qualitative case study design, the research draws on interviews with educators, administrators, and policymakers, complemented by document analysis of institutional policies and national AI frameworks. The analysis was guided by the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework and Digital Humanities principles to ensure both pedagogical and ethical considerations. Findings-The study highlights that AI enhances adaptive learning, automates administrative processes, and supports personalized instruction. However, implementation remains uneven due to limited teacher training, infrastructural disparities, and ethical challenges related to data privacy and algorithmic bias. The study proposes a Humanistic AI Framework integrating pedagogical, administrative, and ethical dimensions to promote equitable and sustainable adoption. Practical implications-The framework offers a roadmap for Turkish institutions to implement AI strategically, focusing on teacher professional development, policy formulation, and equitable access. It also underlines the need for ethical safeguards to preserve human agency in education. Originality/value-By situating AI adoption within the Turkish higher education context, this study contributes original insights into the intersection of AI, pedagogy, and administration. It bridges the theoretical constructs of TPACK and Digital Humanities, proposing a culturally responsive model for AI integration in multilingual and multicultural academic settings.展开更多

English teaching is indispensable due to the uniqueness of Chinese language and culture, and our open policy. College English teaching has become an extremely important platform, different from most other countries, to train talents. And to train talents is not only to train for the English language speakers or to be just certain technicians. This article will, from aspects of teaching philosophy, theory and mode, give a preliminary probe into the reasons why humanistic education should show itself up in all segments of college English teaching and how to show up. And it is expected to use the little to get the big.展开更多

基金Survey and Analysis on Humanistic Care Experience and Influencing Factors of Elderly Residents in 3 Integrated Medical and Nursing Institutions in Guangyuan City(Project No.:24SCLN055)。
文摘This empirical study examines the integration of medical and elderly care services in Guangyuan City through stratified random sampling, targeting 283 eligible residents aged 60+from three representative integrated institutions. The research employed a self-designed questionnaire titled“Humanistic Care Experience and Demand Influencing Factors”to collect subjective perceptions regarding basic care, psychological support, health education, and social interaction using a Likert five-point scale.Descriptive statistics,one-way ANOVA,and multiple regression modeling were conducted with SPSS 25.0 software. Results indicated that overall humanistic care experience scores were moderately high, with the“caregiving”dimension scoring highest and“psychological/social support”the lowest.Analysis revealed significant correlations between educational attainment,income,self-reported health status, and family support frequency(P<0.001),particularly among seniors with higher education, better health, and stronger family support. While integrated care facilities provide relatively comprehensive basic care, they should focus on addressing gaps in humanistic services, especially providing targeted support for groups with“low education, low income, poor health, and lack of family support.”

文摘To define the concept of humanistic quality of nurses by Rodgers’evolutionary conceptual analysis.Based on Rodgers’s evolutionary concept analysis method as the theoretical basis to analyze the concept of humanistic literacy of nurses, the databases of CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,PubMed,Web of Science, and Science Direct were searched systematically from October 31st,2024.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,43 literatures were selected, including 34 Chinese literatures and 9 English literatures.Nurses’humanistic quality involved five conceptual attributes, including ethics, legal knowledge, traditional culture, interpersonal interaction, and aesthetic accomplishment.Antecedent variables include education environment, growth environment, hospital environment, and professional identity, and the consequences are divided into positive and negative aspects.Among them, positive consequences include harmonious nurse-patient relationships, efficient communication and cooperation, and improved nursing quality, while negative consequences include poor hospital operation,nurse-patient disputes, and reduced work quality. This paper defines and analyzes the humanistic qualities of nurses through the conceptual analysis of Rogers’theory of evolution, and the humanistic qualities of nurses refer to the comprehensive qualities of nurses based on ethics, legal knowledge, traditional culture, interpersonal interactions, and aesthetics in their professional practice, which will serve as a reference for future research in related fields.
文摘Against the backdrop of inter-civilization exchanges and globalization,Beijing International Studies University has addressed the issues of“Sino-Western dual opposition”,“single classroom-based practice”,and“superficial interdisciplinary integration”in the traditional Basic Music Theory Course. With the goal of“integrating Chinese and foreign musical rhythms and cultivating humanistic envoys”,the university has conducted six years of exploration to build a cross-cultural practice system.By reconstructing a three-dimensional curriculum system of“Chinese foundation+Western theory+global diversity”,establishing a three-level practical platform of“classroom-campus-society”,deepening the interdisciplinary integration of“music+foreign languages/communication”,and adopting the“experience-collaboration-creation”three-stage teaching method, the course has transformed from mere music knowledge imparting to cross-cultural competence cultivation. After the reform, students have significantly improved their multicultural awareness and practical abilities, won multiple awards in competitions, and their multilingual musical works have been widely disseminated by the media.Additionally, the course has provided talent support for the“Belt and Road Initiative”and the construction of Beijing’s“Four Centers”.However, challenges remain, such as insufficient development of digital resources and an imperfect teaching evaluation system. In the future, efforts will be made to promote the integration of“music+digital intelligence”and optimize the evaluation system.
