The results obtained show that Mn-SOD activity exhibits most evidently in lung cancer tissues, less evidently in peripheral tissues around the lung cancer, but the least in normal peripheral lung tissues, indicating a declined tendency as definitely proved by statistical treatment (P<0.01). Methods: contrastive analysis strategy was selected to analyze the effect of the observation group and the control group. The observation group was treated with whole-process humanistic nursing, while the control group was treated with routine nursing. Results: after systematic observation and analysis, it can be found that the amount of bleeding at 2h and 24h postpartum in the observation group is significantly less than that in the control group, there is a significant difference (P < 0.05), and the observation group of patients with a great improvement in mood, which is difficult to achieve and realize by the traditional delivery nursing work. Conclusion: humanized nursing strategy in the whole process of delivery is of great value and plays an important role in the psychological aspects of pregnant and parturient women. It is worth popularizing in the development of clinical medicine in the future.展开更多
[Objectives]To explore the effect of the extract of Growgx yeast fermentation product on ultraviolet A(UVA)-induced photo-aging of human skin fibroblasts(HFF-1)and its specific mechanisms from the level of cell biolog...[Objectives]To explore the effect of the extract of Growgx yeast fermentation product on ultraviolet A(UVA)-induced photo-aging of human skin fibroblasts(HFF-1)and its specific mechanisms from the level of cell biology,and discussed the application of the Growgx yeast fermentation product extract for skin aging.[Methods]A photo-aging model of HFF-1 cells was induced by UVA radiation meter,and it was given different concentrations of Growgx for intervention.The proliferation activity of the HFF-1 cells was detected with MTT method,and their migration and invasion ability was measured by scratch test.The SOD,HYP and MDA levels were detected with corresponding kits.After oxygen infusion apparatus assisted facial skin administration,the repair of the skin was observed through the VISIA skin tester.[Results]The survival rate of HFF-1 cells was reduced significantly by UVA with an irradiation dose of 10.8 J/cm2(P<0.05),while Growgx significantly increased their survival rate(P<0.001)and sped up the repair of damaged cells.Growgx promoted the production of SOD(P<0.05),reduced the level of MDA(P<0.05),and increased the level of HYP(P<0.05).Growgx effectively inhibited UVA-induced photo-aging of HFF-1 cells.The mechanism may be related to accelerating cell damage repair,up-regulating SOD and HYP expression levels,and reducing MDA expression level.The clinical observation showed that Growgx effectively improved skin spots and pores,making the skin smoother and more delicate.[Conclusions]Growgx can effectively fight against photo-aging caused by ultraviolet rays,and can significantly improve skin wrinkles.展开更多

METHODS:Gastric biopsies of 40 randomly selected cases of H pylori gastritis were scored semiquantitatively by three pathologists.Variables analysed induded chronic inflammation, inflammatory activity,atrophy,intestinal metaplasia,H pylori, surface epithelial damage.κ values below 0.5 represented poor,those between 0.5 and 0.75 good and values over 0.75 excellent interobserver agreement. RESULTS:The best interobserver agreement(κ=0.62)was present for intestinal metaplasia.The agreement was the poorest for evaluating atrophy(κ=0.31). CONCLUSION:Although the results of this study were in accordance with some previous studies,an excellent agreement could not be reached for any features of H pylori gastritis.This low degree of concordance is assumed to be due to the personal evaluation differences in grading the features,the lack of standardized diagnostic criteria,and the ignorance to reach a consensus about the methods to be used in grading the features of H pylori gastritis before initiating the study.展开更多

How, where, and even if such probabilities are represented in the human brain remains largely unknown. Here, we manipulated the probability of simple bottle-pouring action based on two considerations, the relative fullness of two glasses and the relative distance between the two glasses and the bottle. Whole brain functional magnetic resonance imaging was used to measure brain activity while participants viewed probable and improbable pouring actions. Improbable actions elicited increased activity in the theory of mind (ToM) network, commonly found active when trying to grasp the intentions of others, whereas probable actions elicited increased activity in the human mirror neuron system (hMNS) and areas associated with mental imagery and memory. These data provide novel insight into the brain mechanisms humans use to distinguish between high and low-probability actions.展开更多
Human activities have impacted 77%of the terrestrial ecosystems(excluding Antarctica),and the remaining areas are becoming increasingly endangered.Mapping spatiotemporal dynamics of Human Footprint has been used to ev...Human activities have impacted 77%of the terrestrial ecosystems(excluding Antarctica),and the remaining areas are becoming increasingly endangered.Mapping spatiotemporal dynamics of Human Footprint has been used to evaluate the cumulative interference on terrestrial environments globally.However,fences and hydropower,two widespread and rapidly expanding infrastructures,have not been considered regarding Human Footprint,despite their complicated and extensive effects on ecosystem functioning and species survival.Previous work has proved that fences increase habitat fragmentation,disrupt migratory routes,inadvertently trap and kill wildlife,and hinder genetic exchange.Hydropower construction also caused habitat loss,fragmentation,and degradation.These impacts have received global concern,but fences around the world are difficult to be detected due to the limitations of current cartographic technologies.Furthermore,the effect of hydropower on the terrestrial environment has been underestimated,making the research on this topic at a global scale still in its infancy.Therefore,building an observation network of global fences and hydropower is a necessary step to move forward in the assessment of the impact of human activities on our planet,but also to better provide scientific support for policy-making regarding global biodiversity conservation,the identification of protected areas,and the prioritization of ecological restoration areas.展开更多

The UN Human Rights Treaty Bodies raised these concerns based on various facts and the rationality of their suggestions differ. China has replied accordingly. China should continue to reply based on the facts, and it should accept those suggestions that are reasonable and on facts.When addressing suggestions that are not based on facts, we should identify the nature of the problems and eliminate misunderstanding by clarifying the facts and encouraging friendly dialogue.展开更多
Abstract Objective To observe apoptotic process in various cardiovascular disorders with a particular attention to the ultrastructural morphology of apoptosis in cardiomyocytes, fibroblasts, vascular endothe...Abstract Objective To observe apoptotic process in various cardiovascular disorders with a particular attention to the ultrastructural morphology of apoptosis in cardiomyocytes, fibroblasts, vascular endothelial cells and smooth muscle cells. Methods Transmission electron microscopic observations of the tissue specimens obtained from endomyocardial biopsies or surgical excisions of left ventricular myocardium or calcified aortic valves were carried out in 50 patients with various cardiovascular diseases. Results The ultrastructural features of apoptosis was consistently observed in cardiomyocytes, fibroblasts, vascular endothelial cells and smooth muscle cells in all diseased tissues. In cardiomyopathies and rheumatic heart diseases apoptosis was commonly observed in the cardiomyocytes. It was often found that fibroblasts underwent apoptosis in calcific aortic valve tissues. Apoptosis of arterial smooth muscle cells was a frequent finding in renal arterial stenosis due to Takayasu's arteritis and fibromuscular dysplasia. Regardless of the cell types, the nuclear hallmarks of apoptosis were identical with minor modifications of the fragmentation of the condensed cells into apoptotic bodies. Conclusions Based on electron microscopic findings, it is suggested that the underlying disease processes determine which type of cells predominantly undergoes apoptotic changes in various cardiovascular disorders. In addition, different cells with similar structural morphology may have common ultrastructural features of apoptosis.展开更多
