Driven critical dynamics in quantum phase transitions holds significant theoretical importance,and also has practical applications in fast-developing quantum devices.While scaling corrections have been shown to play i...Driven critical dynamics in quantum phase transitions holds significant theoretical importance,and also has practical applications in fast-developing quantum devices.While scaling corrections have been shown to play important roles in fully characterizing equilibrium quantum criticality,their impact on nonequilibrium critical dynamics has not been extensively explored.In this work,we investigate the driven critical dynamics in a two-dimensional quantum Heisenberg model.We find that in this model the scaling corrections arising from both finite system size and finite driving rate must be incorporated into the finite-time scaling form in order to properly describe the nonequilibrium scaling behaviors.In addition,improved scaling relations are obtained from the expansion of the full scaling form.We numerically verify these scaling forms and improved scaling relations for different starting states using the nonequilibrium quantum Monte Carlo algorithm.展开更多

In this study,we aim to assess dynamical downscaling simulations by utilizing a novel bias-corrected global climate model(GCM)data to drive a regional climate model(RCM)over the Asia-western North Pacific region.Three...In this study,we aim to assess dynamical downscaling simulations by utilizing a novel bias-corrected global climate model(GCM)data to drive a regional climate model(RCM)over the Asia-western North Pacific region.Three simulations were conducted with a 25-km grid spacing for the period 1980–2014.The first simulation(WRF_ERA5)was driven by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts Reanalysis 5(ERA5)dataset and served as the validation dataset.The original GCM dataset(MPI-ESM1-2-HR model)was used to drive the second simulation(WRF_GCM),while the third simulation(WRF_GCMbc)was driven by the bias-corrected GCM dataset.The bias-corrected GCM data has an ERA5-based mean and interannual variance and long-term trends derived from the ensemble mean of 18 CMIP6 models.Results demonstrate that the WRF_GCMbc significantly reduced the root-mean-square errors(RMSEs)of the climatological mean of downscaled variables,including temperature,precipitation,snow,wind,relative humidity,and planetary boundary layer height by 50%–90%compared to the WRF_GCM.Similarly,the RMSEs of interannual-tointerdecadal variances of downscaled variables were reduced by 30%–60%.Furthermore,the WRF_GCMbc better captured the annual cycle of the monsoon circulation and intraseasonal and day-to-day variabilities.The leading empirical orthogonal function(EOF)shows a monopole precipitation mode in the WRF_GCM.In contrast,the WRF_GCMbc successfully reproduced the observed tri-pole mode of summer precipitation over eastern China.This improvement could be attributed to a better-simulated location of the western North Pacific subtropical high in the WRF_GCMbc after GCM bias correction.展开更多
The wheel-rail dynamic load(WRL)and its vibration energy transfer(VET)are foundational for studying ballastless track dynamics in high-speed railways.In this study,the higher-order modal parameters of track beds with ...The wheel-rail dynamic load(WRL)and its vibration energy transfer(VET)are foundational for studying ballastless track dynamics in high-speed railways.In this study,the higher-order modal parameters of track beds with different isolating layers were identified experimentally and a vehicle-track coupled dynamic model considering track bed broadband vibrations(TBBVs)was established.The WRL and its VET were investigated,and the contribution law as well as the influence mechanism of TBBVs on them was determined.The results showed the WRL and track bed vibration energy exhibited significant resonances,with more prominent high-frequency resonance peaks in the track bed vibration energy.TBBVs had a significant effect on low-frequency WRLs,and markedly influenced the VET across various frequency bands.Intense low-frequency and weak high-frequency intermodulation effects between the wheel-rail and track beds were observed.The effect of track bed vibrations can be disregarded when focusing on high-frequency WRLs above 200 Hz.Variations in the isolating layer stiffness have more significant effects on the track bed vibration energy than the WRL.Rational stiffness of the isolating layer should be selected to avoid mode-coupling resonance from track beds to the wheel-rail subsystem.展开更多

Firstly, an algorithm for enhancing the maneuvering in steady-state cornering is presented. On this basis, two categories of control strategies are used to dynamically correct and compensate the transient state steering responses and vehicle behaviors. Simulator tests including subjective evaluations and virtual field tests are both conducted to make comprehensive investigations on the series of control logics. The subjective evaluations demonstrate that the SBW vehicle with a specifically selected value of steering sensitivity tends to be more desirable for driving than a conventional one in which a fixed steering ratio exists. The virtual field tests indicate that the control strategies for dynamical correction and compensation could effectively improve the handling per-formances of an SBW vehicle by reducing the work load of drivers, enhancing the track-holding performance, and improving steering response properties.展开更多

It is a complicated nonlinear controlling problem to conduct a two-dimensional trajectory correction of rockets.By establishing the aerodynamic correction force mathematical model of rockets on nose cone swinging,the ...It is a complicated nonlinear controlling problem to conduct a two-dimensional trajectory correction of rockets.By establishing the aerodynamic correction force mathematical model of rockets on nose cone swinging,the linear control is realized by the dynamic inverse nonlinear controlling theory and the three-time-scale separation method.The control ability and the simulation results are also tested and verified.The results show that the output responses of system track the expected curve well and the error is controlled in a given margin.The maximum correction is about±314 m in the lengthwise direction and±1 212 m in the crosswise direction from the moment of 5 s to the drop-point time when the angle of fire is 55°.Thus,based on the dynamic inverse control of feedback linearization,the trajectory correction capability of nose cone swinging can satisfy the requirements of two-dimensional ballistic correction,and the validity and effectiveness of the method are proved.展开更多

The PPM framework is used to de...We present a computational gas dynamics method based on the Spectral Deferred Corrections (SDC) time integration technique and the Piecewise Parabolic Method (PPM) finite volume method. The PPM framework is used to define edge-averaged quantities, which are then used to evaluate numerical flux functions. The SDC technique is used to integrate solution in time. This kind of approach was first taken by Anita et al in [1]. However, [1] is problematic when it is implemented to certain shock problems. Here we propose significant improvements to [1]. The method is fourth order (both in space and time) for smooth flows, and provides highly resolved discontinuous solutions. We tested the method by solving variety of problems. Results indicate that the fourth order of accuracy in both space and time has been achieved when the flow is smooth. Results also demonstrate the shock capturing ability of the method.展开更多

The influences of airfoil thickness on the aerodynamic loading distribution and the hinge moments of folding wing aircraft are presented in this work.The traditional panel method shows deficiencies in the calculation ...The influences of airfoil thickness on the aerodynamic loading distribution and the hinge moments of folding wing aircraft are presented in this work.The traditional panel method shows deficiencies in the calculation of folding wing's hinge moments.Thus, a thickness correction strategy for the aerodynamic model with CFD results is proposed, and an aeroelastic flight simulation platform is constructed based on the secondary development of ADAMS.Based on the platform,the developed aerodynamic model is verified, then the flight-folding process of the folding wing aircraft is simulated, and the influences of airfoil thickness on the results are investigated.Results show that the developed aerodynamic model can effectively describe the thickness effect of the folding wing.Airfoil thickness, which cannot be considered by the panel method, has a great influence on the hinge moments during the folding process, and the thickness correction has great significance in the calculation of folding wing's hinge moments.展开更多

文摘By use of the recursive formulation of flexible multibody system with closed loops,this paper studies the dynamic simulation of complicated multibody system.The conception of static correction modes in structural dynamics is introduced to present the local deformation effects due to reaction forces at kinematic joints.A space four bar mechanism is utilized here as an example to describe the method of selecting static correction modes.Compared with vibration normal modes, static correction modes are demonstrated to be effective in numerical simulation.
文摘The perturbative quantum chromodynamics correction to the semihadronic decay rate R of the heavy leptonτwas expressed by Braaten as an expansion in powers ofαs to orderαs3.Braaten had found theα_(s)^(4)order correction to be significant and conjectured that theα_(s)^(4)order corrections might also be significant.Braaten et al.later corrected theα_(s)^(4)-order result.We have extended the analytic calculations to orderαs4;it involves an unknown constant K3 which occurs inαs4 order.In order to estimate the effect ofα_(s)^(4)order correction,we have chosen K3 to range from-1000 to+1000 and we find that the value of R changes by about-11%to+10%,respectively,compared to the value of R=3.5 obtained toα_(s)^(4)-order result.

文摘A system of reduced equations is proposed for electron motion in the strongly radiation-dominated regime for an arbitrary electromagnetic field configuration.The approach developed here is used to analyze various scenarios of electron dynamics in this regime:motion in rotating electric and magnetic fields and longitudinal acceleration in a plane wave and in a plasma wakefield.The results obtained show that this approach is able to describe features of electron dynamics that are essential in certain scenarios,but cannot be captured in the framework of the original radiation-free approximation[Samsonov et al.,Phys.Rev.A 98,053858(2018)and A.Gonoskov and M.Marklund,Phys.Plasmas 25,093109(2018)].The results are verified by numerical integration of the nonreduced equations of motion with account taken of radiation reaction in both semiclassical and fully quantum cases.

文摘It is a complicated nonlinear controlling problem to conduct a two-dimensional trajectory correction of rockets.By establishing the aerodynamic correction force mathematical model of rockets on nose cone swinging,the linear control is realized by the dynamic inverse nonlinear controlling theory and the three-time-scale separation method.The control ability and the simulation results are also tested and verified.The results show that the output responses of system track the expected curve well and the error is controlled in a given margin.The maximum correction is about±314 m in the lengthwise direction and±1 212 m in the crosswise direction from the moment of 5 s to the drop-point time when the angle of fire is 55°.Thus,based on the dynamic inverse control of feedback linearization,the trajectory correction capability of nose cone swinging can satisfy the requirements of two-dimensional ballistic correction,and the validity and effectiveness of the method are proved.
文摘We present a computational gas dynamics method based on the Spectral Deferred Corrections (SDC) time integration technique and the Piecewise Parabolic Method (PPM) finite volume method. The PPM framework is used to define edge-averaged quantities, which are then used to evaluate numerical flux functions. The SDC technique is used to integrate solution in time. This kind of approach was first taken by Anita et al in [1]. However, [1] is problematic when it is implemented to certain shock problems. Here we propose significant improvements to [1]. The method is fourth order (both in space and time) for smooth flows, and provides highly resolved discontinuous solutions. We tested the method by solving variety of problems. Results indicate that the fourth order of accuracy in both space and time has been achieved when the flow is smooth. Results also demonstrate the shock capturing ability of the method.
文摘With the development of graphic processing unit(GPU)power,it is now possible to implement geometric correction and edge blending functions on a single computer.However,the processing resources consumed by the geometric correction and edge blending phases still burden the system and slow down the main application considerably.A new platform independent scheme is proposed,minimizing the negative influence on performance.In this scheme,parameters for geometric correction and edge blending are firstly defined in an interactive way and recorded as a 32-bit high dynamic range(HDR) image,which is then used by high level shading language(HLSL) codes embedded in the main application as a lookup table,greatly reducing the computational complexity and enhancing flexibility.

文摘We present a class of arbitrarily high order fully explicit kinetic numerical methods in compressible fluid dynamics,both in time and space,which include the relaxation schemes by Jin and Xin.These methods can use the CFL number larger or equal to unity on regular Cartesian meshes for the multi-dimensional case.These kinetic models depend on a small parameter that can be seen as a"Knudsen"number.The method is asymptotic preserving in this Knudsen number.Also,the computational costs of the method are of the same order of a fully explicit scheme.This work is the extension of Abgrall et al.(2022)[3]to multidimensional systems.We have assessed our method on several problems for two-dimensional scalar problems and Euler equations and the scheme has proven to be robust and to achieve the theoretically predicted high order of accuracy on smooth solutions.

文摘By using the falling weight deflectometer(FWD),the dynamic loading tests on different thickness of asphalt mixture pavement in different temperature were performed.The experimental results show that the effects of temperature on dynamic properties of asphalt mixture are significant,and the thickness of asphalt mixture is also another important influence factor.The comparisons indicate that effect of temperature on the behaviors of dynamic loading properties and static loading properties of asphalt mixture were quite different.

文摘The influences of airfoil thickness on the aerodynamic loading distribution and the hinge moments of folding wing aircraft are presented in this work.The traditional panel method shows deficiencies in the calculation of folding wing's hinge moments.Thus, a thickness correction strategy for the aerodynamic model with CFD results is proposed, and an aeroelastic flight simulation platform is constructed based on the secondary development of ADAMS.Based on the platform,the developed aerodynamic model is verified, then the flight-folding process of the folding wing aircraft is simulated, and the influences of airfoil thickness on the results are investigated.Results show that the developed aerodynamic model can effectively describe the thickness effect of the folding wing.Airfoil thickness, which cannot be considered by the panel method, has a great influence on the hinge moments during the folding process, and the thickness correction has great significance in the calculation of folding wing's hinge moments.
