On-Line Life Monitoring Technique for Tube Bundles of Boiler High-Temperature Heating Surface

High-temperature heating surface such as superheater and reheater of large-sized utility boiler all experiences a relatively severe working conditions. The failure of boiler tubes will directly impact the safe and economic operation of boiler. An on-line life monitoring model of high-temperature heating surface was set up according to the well-known L-M formula of the creep damages. The tube wall metal temperature and working stress was measured by on-line monitoring, and with this model, the real-time calculation of the life expenditure of the heating surface tube bundles were realized. Based on the technique the on-line life monitoring and management system of high-temperature heating surface was developed for a 300 MW utility boiler. An effective device was thus suggested for the implementation of the safe operation and the condition-based maintenance of utility boilers. 展开更多

Two types of tube bundles are designed,which are,respectively,composed of six tubes arranged in the boiling chamber.The nucleate pool boiling performance of smooth tube bundles and sintered porous surface tube bundles with deionized water as a medium are experimentally studied at atmospheric and sub-atmospheric pressures,respectively.The experimental results indicate that the boiling heat transfer coefficients of the two types of tube bundles increase with the increase in pressure under vacuum conditions as they behave under ordinary pressure.As the pressure varies from 10 to 100 kPa,it also can be seen that the heat transfer coefficient of the sintered porous surface tube is increased by 0.2 to 4 times compared with the smooth one under the same operating parameters.In addition,the experimental data show that a definite bundle effect exists in both sintered porous surface tubes and smooth tubes under vacuum conditions. 展开更多

In the experimental range, the boiling heat transfer coefficients of R134a on a T-MPPS tube were 1.8-2.0 times larger than those of R134a on a plain tube. In addition, the developed experimental correlations verified that the predictions of the heat transfer coefficients of boiling R134a and R142bon a T-MPPS tube at the experimental conditions were considerably accurate. 展开更多

The passive residual heat removal exchanger (PRHR HX),which is a key equipment of the passive residual heat removal system,is installed in an elevated pool.Its heat transfer performance affects security and economics of the reactor,and boiling heat transfer in the liquid surrounding the exchanger occurs when the liquid saturation temperature exceeded.The smooth tubes,which are widely used as heat transfer tubes in PRHR HX,can be replaced by some enhanced tubes to improve the boiling heat transfer capability.In this paper,the pool boiling heat transfer characteristics of smooth tube and a machined porous surface tube are investigated by using high-pressure steam condensing inside tube as heating source.Compared with smooth tube,the porous surface tube considerably enhances the boiling heat transfer,and shortens the time significantly before reaching the liquid saturation temperature.Its boiling heat transfer coefficient increases from 68% to 75%,and the wall superheat decreases by 1.5oC.Combining effect of condensation inside tube with boiling outside tube,the axial wall temperatures of heat transfer tube are neither uniform nor linear distribution.Based on these investigations,enhance mechanism of the porous surface tube is analyzed. 展开更多

The outside serrated integral-fin tubes fabricated by rolling-plowing-extrusion processing were surface-treated through different processes of annealing in hydrogen atmosphere,electrochemical corrosion or sandblasting.The purpose was to eliminate residual stress,clear secondary micro-fins and enhance heat transfer performance.By comparing the surface characteristics,it is found that the finned tubes treated by electrochemical corrosion have the most glabrous surfaces where the fins are almost perfectly reserved.Clear layer cracks can be observed on the top of the fins.These structures are effective in enhancing heat transfer performance when being applied to flow heat exchange.Therefore,the finned tubes treated by electrochemical corrosion are proper for the tubular exchanger with water coolant.The finned tubes treated by sandblasting have rougher surfaces with layer cracks and micro gaps removed.As these structures are useful to clearing adhesive feculence,the tubes are more suitable for the tubular heat exchanger with oil coolant. 展开更多

The subject of this study is the oxidation of fuel rod cladding made of material Zr1Nb(0.1% O) in steam at temperatures in the range of 660℃ to 1200℃ with a surface in the initial state (after manufacturing - grinding) and after additional chemical etching. The changes in the microstructure of tubes due to the interaction with steam were investigated. A comparison was made between the oxidation rate of this material (weight gain) and the data on the oxidation of other alloys for nuclear power plants. The oxidation rate of Zr1Nb(0.1% O) is close to the oxidation rate of other zirconium alloys. It is shown that after chemical treatment of the surface of the samples there is a more even growth of oxide films, and they have a smaller thickness for the same time of exposure than after mechanical grinding. Surface treatment before oxidation also affects the change of microstructure of samples when heated to high temperatures. 展开更多

Heat exchangers have the potential for various engineering applications,and their performance is enriched by surface modification.The proposed system enriches the heat exchanger's performance by adapting a peened stainless steel(SS)surface blasted with copper,grinding,sand,and iron.The influences peened SS surface modified with a copper blast,grinding,sandblast,and iron blast on the surface morphology of shell and tube heat exchanger surface(STHE)is analyzed via tungsten heated cathode electron gun featured scanning electron microscope and observed coarse grain surface.The SS surface featured STHE performance is experimentally evaluated by different flow rates(30,60,90,and 120 L/min)underwater fluid medium functioned by the temperature ranges of 25-75℃ and its results are compared with computational fluid dynamic(CFD)/heat transfer research(HTRI)analyzed results.The 60 L/min flow rate was spotted as an optimum value for both shell and tube side reasons.The STHE is operated with a 60 L/min flow rate under the different peened surfaces and evaluated its Stanton number,Nusselt number,logarithmic mean temperature difference(LMTD),overall heat transfer coefficient,number of transfer units(NTU),effectiveness,and exergy efficiency.The iron blasted SS peened surface was observed to have better SHTE performance like Stanton number(0.0012),Nusselt number(2180),reduced LMTD of 31℃,improved overall heat transfer co-efficient of 2400 W/(m^(2)·K),better NTU of 0.5532,good effectiveness value of 0.45162,and hiked exergy efficiency of 10% respectively. 展开更多

采用响应面法中的Box-Behnken法对新型螺纹管传热性能的优化进行实验设计,以努塞特数(Nu)和摩擦因数(f)为评价指标,研究螺距(P)、肋高(H)、螺纹段与光管段的长度比(L)对传热性能的影响,同时通过分析响应面图研究各参数对Nu和f的交互影... 采用响应面法中的Box-Behnken法对新型螺纹管传热性能的优化进行实验设计,以努塞特数(Nu)和摩擦因数(f)为评价指标,研究螺距(P)、肋高(H)、螺纹段与光管段的长度比(L)对传热性能的影响,同时通过分析响应面图研究各参数对Nu和f的交互影响。计算各实验组数的灰色关联等级,使用灰色关联法对新型螺纹管进行多目标优化,并通过分析不同换热管的湍流动能(TKE)分布,得到新型螺纹管增强传热性能的机理。研究表明:通过响应面分析可知L是影响Nu与f最显著的参数;通过灰色关联法分析得到的最优结构参数P=5.5 mm、H=1.00 mm、L=2,这种结构参数下的新型螺纹管Nu值为100.741,f值为0.024 641;通过对比不同换热管的TKE分布发现,新型螺纹管的独特设计即两个旋转方向相反的相邻螺纹段会导致管内的流体流动方向频繁变化,从而加剧径向扰动,更频繁地产生二次流,导致TKE增加,增强其传热性能。通过优化研究,确定了新型螺纹管最优的结构参数,并深入揭示其传热性能增强的机制,为进一步优化和设计新型螺纹管提供了指导和依据。 展开更多

管翅式换热器平直翅片表面结霜特性数值模拟

基于欧拉多相流模型,采用数值模拟方法研究了湿空气入口温度、冷面温度、相对湿度及入口流速等关键工况参数对平直翅片管换热器翅片表面结霜特性的影响。结果表明,各参数对换热器表面结霜的空间分布、积累速率均具有显著且耦合的影响。... 基于欧拉多相流模型,采用数值模拟方法研究了湿空气入口温度、冷面温度、相对湿度及入口流速等关键工况参数对平直翅片管换热器翅片表面结霜特性的影响。结果表明,各参数对换热器表面结霜的空间分布、积累速率均具有显著且耦合的影响。总体而言,入口湿空气温度和相对湿度的升高,以及冷面温度和入口流速的降低,均加速了翅片表面霜层厚度的积累。其中,冷面温度是影响霜层厚度增长的主导因素:当冷面温度由−5℃降至−20℃时,霜层厚度增加了32.04%;入口流速对霜层厚度的影响最小,流速由2 m/s降至0.5 m/s时,厚度仅提高12.55%。在霜层密度方面,湿空气入口温度的提升作用最为显著,温度由−5℃升高至5℃时,霜层密度增长了41.32%。研究结果为管翅式换热器在实际工况下的防霜与除霜优化设计提供了一定的理论参考与数据支撑。 展开更多

本文分析并对比用于计算R32在小管径内表面传热系数的多个关联式,并确立了适用于预测R32在小管径内表面传热系数的关联式,广泛搜集R32在小管径内的沸腾传热的实验数据,与关联式所计算出的数据进行对比,确定误差最小的关联式。其中实验... 本文分析并对比用于计算R32在小管径内表面传热系数的多个关联式,并确立了适用于预测R32在小管径内表面传热系数的关联式,广泛搜集R32在小管径内的沸腾传热的实验数据,与关联式所计算出的数据进行对比,确定误差最小的关联式。其中实验数据来自10个文献的1655个数据点构成,涵盖的水力直径为2~8 mm,由于关联式仅适用于光管内的流动沸腾传热表面传热系数预测,对于强化管内的流动沸腾传热表面传热系数预测误差较大,并且强化管相对于光管具有明显的优势,随着强化管技术的成熟,换热器主要采用强化管这种形式。所以通过对关联式进行修正,提高了关联式应用于强化管的准确性,修正之后85%以上的计算值误差在±25%以内,平均相对误差仅有2.1%。 展开更多

针对锅炉受热面管温度检测的技术难题,本文提出了一种基于光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)热光效应与热膨胀效应的分布式温度传感器。通过在同一通道上合理布置不同中心波长的光栅多波长FBG单通道复用技术实现空间测温,同时设计光纤铠装与管壁耦合... 针对锅炉受热面管温度检测的技术难题,本文提出了一种基于光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)热光效应与热膨胀效应的分布式温度传感器。通过在同一通道上合理布置不同中心波长的光栅多波长FBG单通道复用技术实现空间测温,同时设计光纤铠装与管壁耦合装置以消除应力干扰的测温精度的影响;采用栅区镀金工艺提升传感器线性度,并通过涂抹高温硅脂增强FBG与管壁的瞬态热传导。实验结果表明,未镀金FBG的全量程灵敏度为14.6×10^(-12)m/℃,R^(2)=0.9784,而栅区镀金后传感器线性度提高,在300~720℃范围内灵敏度达15.6×10^(-12)m/℃,R^(2)=0.9997;通过四组升-降温实验验证了传感器输出重复性,结果显示其最大偏差仅为全量程的4%。在电厂锅炉现场实际应用中,与热电偶传感器对比测试,验证了该FBG传感器的可靠性,其测温性能与热电偶相当,同时兼具布线简单、成本低的优势。 展开更多

为响应国务院出台的《节能降碳行动方案》,陶瓷工业需积极推动技术升级改造,连续式窑炉通过尾部集成安装高效翅片管换热器进行余热回收。为提高余热回收效率,需对翅片管换热器结构参数进行优化。本文采用Box-Behnken响应面法,探究翅片... 为响应国务院出台的《节能降碳行动方案》,陶瓷工业需积极推动技术升级改造,连续式窑炉通过尾部集成安装高效翅片管换热器进行余热回收。为提高余热回收效率,需对翅片管换热器结构参数进行优化。本文采用Box-Behnken响应面法,探究翅片厚度、翅片间距、横向管间距和纵向管间距四个因子对翅片管换热器传热综合性能指标的影响。结果表明,当翅片厚度、翅片间距和管横向间距增大时,综合传热指标上升;当纵向管间距增大时,综合传热指标降低。当翅片间距为9 mm、翅片厚度为1.2 mm、管横向间距为9 mm、管纵向间距为12 mm时,翅片管换热器的综合性能最优,与未优化翅片管换热器相比,综合传热指标提升了16.89%。研究工作指明了工业余热回收用翅片管换热器的结构参数优化方向,为响应面法应用于陶瓷工业低碳能源系统结构优化提供参考。 展开更多

对某电厂600MW超临界机组进行超低热值煤掺烧试验,研究了其高水分、低发热量等特性对锅炉受热面超温、炉膛结渣、氧化皮生成及管壁腐蚀磨损情况的影响。结果显示:屏式过热器出口段在不同掺烧比例(10%、30%、50%)下均出现超温现象;对炉... 对某电厂600MW超临界机组进行超低热值煤掺烧试验,研究了其高水分、低发热量等特性对锅炉受热面超温、炉膛结渣、氧化皮生成及管壁腐蚀磨损情况的影响。结果显示:屏式过热器出口段在不同掺烧比例(10%、30%、50%)下均出现超温现象;对炉膛结渣情况进行查看,发现随着掺烧比例增大,渣块逐渐增大,在50%的掺烧比例下出现坚硬块状结渣,使用煤灰成分硅比G指数对结渣情况进行预测,随着掺烧比例增加结渣情况加剧。在长时间掺烧工况下,受热面管内外壁氧化皮生长厚度及弯管处氧化皮堆积量明显增加;由于掺烧使还原性气氛浓度提升,尾部烟道受热面管出现腐蚀磨损现象。为保证掺烧工况下机组安全稳定运行,提出合理控制掺烧比例,确定最佳吹灰时间,并强化监督检查管理,提出合理化建议。 展开更多
