The investigation was carried out during the performance acceptance test of the train and its initial commercial operation. The investigation covered the performance acceptance test of 150 000 km and the commercial operation of about 150 000 km. In the performance acceptance test of the first stage of about 70 000 km, at 200-250 km/h with full loading and sometimes overloading by 30%, the serious polygonal wear of 23-order took place on all the wheels of the train, and was measured and analyzed in detail. All the potygonized wheels were re-profiled because the polygonal wear had caused strong vibration and damage to the train parts. After re-profiling, the vibration of the train and track and the wear status of the wheels were measured and analyzed at different test mileages according to the polygonal wear situation of the wheels. The measured vibration of the train includes the accelerations at different positions of a motor car and a trail car. The vibration modes of the key parts of the bogies of the two cars were calculated. Meanwhile, the track resonant frequencies were investigated at the site. The purpose of the above tests and analysis is try to find the frequency of work mode matching the passing frequency of the high-order wheel polygon. The present investigation shows that one of the working models causes the formation and development of the high-order wheel polygonal wear. The growth of this wear was effectively reduced through the frequent changing of the running speed of the train operating on the way back and forth every day.展开更多

The model can simulate the cage motion under oil lubrication with all six degrees of freedom. Particularly, the model introduces oil-film damping and hysteresis damping, and deals with the collision contact as imperfect elastic contact. In addition, the effects of inner ring rotational speed, the ratio of pocket clearance to guiding clearance and applied load on the cage stability are investigated by simulating the cage motion with the model. The results can provide a theoretical basis for the design of ball bearing parameters.展开更多

In this paper, we first introduce a general dual network model, including a physical network(PN)and a logical network(LN) to provide a comparative analysis for China’s high-speed rail network via complex network theory. The PN represents a layout of stations and rail tracks, and forms the basis for operating all trains. The LN is a network composed of the origin and destination stations of each high-speed train and the train flows between them. China’s high-speed railway(CHSR) has different topological structures and link strengths for PN in comparison with the LN. In the study, the community detection is used to analyze China’s high-speed rail networks and several communities are found to be similar to the layout of planned urban agglomerations in China. Furthermore, the hierarchies of urban agglomerations are different from each other according to the strength of inter-regional interaction and intra-regional interaction, which are respectively related to location and spatial development strategies. Moreover, a case study of the Yangtze River Delta shows that the hub stations have different resource divisions and are major contributors to the gap between train departure and arrival flows.展开更多

On the one hand, welding current and voltage signals are acquired and analyzed by a self-developed dynamic wavelet analyzer. On the other hand, images are filtered and optimized after they are captured by high-speed camera. The results show that instantaneous waveforms and statistical data of electrical signal contribute to make an overall assessment of welding quality, and that optimized high-speed images allow a visual and clear observation of droplet transfer process. The analysis of both waveforms and images leads to a further research on droplet transfer mechanism and provides a basis for precise control of droplet transfer.展开更多

The loading threshold value (high-cycle long-term dynamic strength) under the circum- stance where the cumulative deformation of subgrade structure gradually develops and finally reaches the convergent state, and its relationship with the foundation coefficient K30 were deduced, based on the characteristics of cumulative defor- mation evolution obtained from the unit structure filling model test under the action of cyclic loading. In view of structure stability and frost resistance requirements of the railway subgrade in cold regions, technical conditions to maintain good service performance of subgrade structure of high-speed railway ballasted track are discussed and analyzed. Study results show that the additive effect manifests itself obviously for railway train bogies under the action of biaxial load than uni- axial load, which has a significant dynamic effect on the subgrade bed bottom and a slight effect on the surface layer. Thus, the adoption of a biaxial load model in the design of a high-speed railway subgrade accurately reflects the vehicle load. Pursuant to the structure design principle, the design method of the subgrade structure of high-speed railway ballasted track is proposed to meet the technical requirements such as structural strength, bearing stiffness and high-cyclic and long-term stability. Technical indicators are obtained for the variation of thickness of the surface layer of reinforced sub- grade bed in the double-layer subgrade mode along with the change of K30 at the subgrade bed bottom. The double-layer structure mode of "closure on the upper layer and drainage on the lower layer" was proposed in order to meet the water- proofing and drainage requirements of the upper layer of the subgrade bed in cold regions. A dense-framework graded gravel filler with weak water permeability at a coefficient of 10 4 cm/s is used on the upper layer and the void-framework graded gravel filler at the water permeability coefficient of 10 2 cm/s is adopted on the lower layer.展开更多

The wear depth of the wheel profile was calculated by the well-known Archard wear law. Through this model, the influence of the wheel profile, primary suspension stiffness, track gage, and rail cant on the wear of wheel profile were studied through multiple iterafive calculations. Numerical simulation results show that the type XP55 wheel profile has the smallest cumulative wear depth, and the type LM wheel profile has the largest wear depth. To reduce the wear of the wheel profile, the equivalent conicity of the wheel should not be too large or too small. On the other hand, a small primary vertical stiffness, a track gage around 1,435-1,438 mm, and a rail cant around 1:35-1:40 are beneficial for dynamic performance improvement and wheel wear alleviation.展开更多

文摘Traditionally, passenger comfort in vehicles is perceived as being most influenced by acceleration and jerk.Consequently, the current research primarily focuses on developing control algorithms to limit the maximum acceleration and jerk of the vehicle in order to improve passenger comfort. However, naturalistic driving studies demonstrate that such simple characteristics are insufficient for accurately evaluating passenger comfort. This study identifies motion complexity as a key factor of passenger comfort.A series of naturalistic driving studies are conducted, during which passenger comfort is assessed using a 5-point Likert scale. Moreover,a real-time passenger comfort measurement based on electromyography(EMG)and stepwise regression is proposed to facilitate seamless data collection.Time-series features representing motion complexity are then introduced to better describe passenger comfort.Hierarchical regression confirms that simple characteristics of motion are insufficient to explain passenger comfort, and shows that the proposed motion complexity features have a substantial effect on passenger comfort. Finally,a machine learning-based real-time passenger comfort estimation method is developed according to the foregoing findings.Experimental results show that the proposed method can accurately estimate passenger comfort in real-time using only vehicle motion information. The findings of this study suggest that vehicle motion complexity should be considered in future passenger comfort studies.

文摘This paper presents a detailed investigation, via field experiment, into the mechanism of high-order polygonal wear of wheels of a new type of high-speed train. The growth of this wear was effectively reduced through the frequent changing of the running speed of the train operating on the way back and forth every day.

文摘To investigate the cage stability of high-speed oil-lubricated angular contact ball bearings, a dynamic model of cages is developed on the basis of Gupta’s and Meeks’ work. The results can provide a theoretical basis for the design of ball bearing parameters.

文摘The buffeting performance of kilometer-level high-speed railway suspension bridges has a great impact on the smooth operation of high-speed trains. To investigate the buffeting performance of the structure significantly different from traditional suspension bridges, the first long-span high-speed railway suspension bridge,Wufengshan Yangtze River Bridge(WYRB),is taken as a numerical example to demonstrate the effects of structural parameters and wind field parameters on the buffeting responses.Based on the design information, the spatial finite element model(FEM)of WYRB is established before testing its accuracy. The fluctuating wind fields are simulated via both classical and stochastic wave based spectral representation method(SRM).Finite element method is further taken to analyze the parametric sensitivity on wind induced buffeting responses in time domain. The results show that the vertical displacement is more sensitive to the changing dead load than the lateral and torsional ones. The larger stiffness of the main girder and the lower sag-to-span ratio are both helpful to reduce the buffeting responses.Wind spectrum and coherence function are key influencing factors to the responses so setting proper wind field parameters are essential in the wind-resistant design stage. The analytical results can provide references for wind resistance analysis and selection of structural and fluctuating wind field parameters for similar long-span high-speed railway suspension bridges.

文摘A loss of ground directional stability can trigger a high-speed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)to veer off the runway. In order to investigate the combined effects of the key structural and operational parameters on the UAV ground directional stability from a global perspective,a fully parameterized mathematical high-speed UAV ground nonlinear dynamic model is developed considering several nonlinear factors. The bifurcation analysis procedure of a UAV ground steering system is introduced, following which the simulation efficiency is greatly improved comparing with the time-domain simulation method. Then the numerical continuation method is employed to investigate the influence of the nose wheel steering angle and the global stability region is obtained. The bifurcation parameter plane is divided into several parts with different stability properties by the saddle nodes and the Hopf bifurcation points. We find that the UAV motion states will never cross the bifurcation curve in the nonlinear system. Also, the dual-parameter bifurcation analyses are presented to give a complete description of the possible steering performance. It is also found that BT bifurcation appears when the UAV initial rectilinear velocity and the tire frictional coefficient vary.In addition, results indicate that the influence of tire frictional coefficient has an opposite trend to the influence of initial rectilinear velocity.Overall, using bifurcation analysis method to identify the parameter regions of a UAV nonlinear ground dynamic system helps to improve the development efficiency and quality during UAV designing phase.

文摘Dear Editor,This letter introduces a novel approach to address the bearings-only target motion analysis(BO-TMA)problem by incorporating deep reinforcement learning(DRL)techniques.Conventional methods often exhibit biases and struggle to achieve accurate results, especially when confronted with high levels of noise. In this letter,we formulate the BO-TMA problem as a Markov decision process(MDP)and process it within a DRL framework.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed DRL-based estimator achieves reduced bias and lower errors compared to existing estimators.
文摘A new method for analyzing high-speed circuit systems is presented. The method adds transmission line end currents to the circuit variables of the classical modified nodal approach. Then the matrix equation describing high-speed circuit system can be formulated directly and analyzed conveniently for its normative form. A time-domain analysis method for transmission lines is also introduced. The two methods are combined together to efficiently analyze high-speed circuit systems having general transmission lines. Numerical experiment is presented and the results are compared with that calculated by Hspice.

文摘China has the largest high-speed railway(HSR) system in the world, and it has gradually reshaped the urban network. The HSR system can be represented as different types of networks in terms of the nodes and various relationships(i.e.,linkages) between them. Moreover, a case study of the Yangtze River Delta shows that the hub stations have different resource divisions and are major contributors to the gap between train departure and arrival flows.

文摘In order to study how welding parameters affect welding quality and droplet transfer, a synchronous acquisition and analysis system is established to acquire and analyze electrical signal and instantaneous images of droplet transfer simultaneously, which is based on a self-developed soft-switching inverter. The analysis of both waveforms and images leads to a further research on droplet transfer mechanism and provides a basis for precise control of droplet transfer.

文摘According to the technical characteristics of short fixed wheelbase of a high-speed carriage, a subgrade-track integrated space mechanical response analysis model is proposed for trains under the action ofbiaxial load after the comparison of the stress distribution characteristics of the ballast track subgrade bed structures for high-speed railway under the action of uniaxial load and biaxial load. A dense-framework graded gravel filler with weak water permeability at a coefficient of 10 4 cm/s is used on the upper layer and the void-framework graded gravel filler at the water permeability coefficient of 10 2 cm/s is adopted on the lower layer.

文摘The construction of high-speed rail(HSR)network has promoted the social-economic ties of cities, accelerated the compression of time and space, and changed the pattern of regional development. In this paper, with the adoption of the operation frequency data of HSR from 12306 website, and based on the HSR connection strength model and social network analysis model,as well as according to the HSR connection strength,HSR network density, centrality, agglomeration subgroup, and other indicators,we analyzed the characteristics of HSR network structure in Northeast China. Results show that the number of HSR cities in Northeast China is small, cities in HSR network generally exhibit weak connectivity, and the existence of HSR network marginalizes cities such as Ulanhot,Baicheng, and Songyuan, which significantly reduce the overall network connectivity of Northeast China. The overall centrality of HSR network in Northeast China is characterized by“one axis, four edges”;specifically, the one axis is located in Harbin-Dalian transportation line and the four edges are located on both sides of the main axis of Harbin-Dalian transportation line.Eight agglomeration subgroups(four double city subgroups and four multi city subgroups)have formed in Northeast China. The core status of Shenyang in HSR network is improved significantly, and“one axis and two wings”HSR network in Liaoning Province is improved significantly. With the gradual expansion of Chaoyang-Fuxin,Dandong-Benxi,and Jilin-Yanji branch networks, the“point axis”HSR network mode in Northeast China has gradually developed and matured. In the future,it is recommended to rely on eight agglomerating subgroups to encrypt HSR network structure, create secondary node central cities, and gradually build a new pattern of opening up in Northeast China.

文摘This paper presents an analysis method, based on MacCormack's technique, for the evaluation of the time domain sensitivity of distributed parameter elements in high-speed circuit networks. Sensitivities can be calculated from electrical and physical parameters of the distributed parameter elements. The proposed method is a direct numerical method of time-space discretization and does not require complicated mathematical deductive process. Therefore, it is very convenient to program this method. It can be applied to sensitivity analysis of general transmission lines in linear or nonlinear circuit networks. The proposed method is second-order-accurate. 文摘In order to reduce the wheel profile wear of highspeed trains and extend the service life of wheels, a dynamic model for a high-speed vehicle was set up, in which the wheelset was regarded as flexible body, and the actual measured track irregularities and line conditions were considered. On the other hand, a small primary vertical stiffness, a track gage around 1,435-1,438 mm, and a rail cant around 1:35-1:40 are beneficial for dynamic performance improvement and wheel wear alleviation.
