The flow field of the cascade is measured and the ink-trace flow visualization is also presented. The experimental results show that the boundary layer suction reduces losses near the area of rnidspan in the cascade most effectively for all suction cases under test. Losses of the endwall could remarkably decrease only when the suction is at the position where the boundary layer has separated but still not departed far away from the blade surface. It is evidenced that the higher suction flow rate and the suction position closer to the trailing edge result in greater reduction in losses and the maximum reduction in the total pressure loss accounts to 16.5% for all cases. The suction position plays a greater role in affecting the total pressure loss than the suction flow rate does.展开更多

The aim of this paper is to study the mechanism of the wall cooling effect on the Mack mode instability by numerical methods. It is shown that the wall-cooling can destabilize the Mack mode instability, similar to the previous conclusions with the exception that the Mack mode instability can be stabilized by wall-cooling if the wall temperature is extremely low. The reversed wall temperature is related to a freestream condition. If the Mach number increases to a large enough value, e.g., about 7, the reversed wall temperature will tend to be zero. It seems that the Mack mode instability is determined by the region between the boundary layer edge and the critical layer. When the wall temperature decreases, this region becomes wider, and the boundary layer becomes more unstable. Additionally, a relative supersonic unstable mode can be observed when the velocity of the critical layer is less than 1 - liMa or is cancelled by the wall-cooling effect. These results provide a deeper understanding on the wall-cooling effect in high speed boundary layers.展开更多

Dif- ferent regroup scenarios may lead to different production performances. Based on unstable oil-water flow theory, a multilayer commingled reservoir simulator is established by modifying the production split method. Taking into account the differences of layer properties, including per- meability, oil viscosity, and remaining oil saturation, the pseudo flow resistance contrast is proposed to serve as a characteristic index of layer regrouping for high water-cut multilayered reservoirs. The production indices of multi- layered reservoirs with different pseudo flow resistances are predicted with the established model in which the data are taken from the Shengtuo Oilfield. Simulation results show that the pseudo flow resistance contrast should be less than 4 when the layer regrouping is implemented. The K-means clustering method, which is based on the objec- tive function, is used to automatically carry out the layer regrouping process according to pseudo flow resistances. The research result is applied to the IV-VI sand groups of the second member of the Shahejie Formation in the Shengtuo Oilfield, a favorable development performance is obtained, and the oil recovery is enhanced by 6.08 %.展开更多

Bergenia (Saxifragaceae) is an evergreen perennial herb widely distributed in Central and East Asia with about 30 species reported worldwide. It grows at a range of altitudes from the Khasia hills at 400 feet to the temperate Himalayas from Kashmir to Bhutan at 7,000-10,000 feet. Its distribution over a wide range of altitudinal zones makes it a good candidate for studying variations in its metabolic profiles under different climatic conditions. Bergenin (C-glycoside of 4-O-methyl gallic acid) has been identified as a potent active secondary metabolite in Bergenia and other therapeutically active constituents including, among others, gallic acid (3,4,5 trihydroxybenzoic acid), (+) catechin, and gallicin (Fig. 1).展开更多

Our experiments at conditions below the dry peridotite solidus produced melt compositions that ranged from basaltic andesite to tholeiite. An Opx reaction band formed between eclogite and peridotite layers, likely via chemical reaction between a silica-rich eclogite-derived partial melt and olivine in the peridotite matrix. At temperatures at or above the dry peridotite solidus, substantial melting occurred in both basalt and peridotite layers, and fully molten basalt melt and melt pockets from the peridotite layer combined. In our layered experiments, major and minor element contents in reacted melts closely matched those of Hawaiian tholeiite and picrite, except for Fe. Partial melts of anhydrous run products had ~55 - 57 wt% SiO2 at low temperature (i.e., were andesitic) and had ~50 - 53 wt% SiO2 at high temperatures, slightly below the dry peridotite solidus (i.e., were tholeiitic, and similar to those that occur during the Hawaii shield-building stage). Based on the Fe- and LREE-enriched signature in Hawaiian tholeiites, we propose that recycled components in the Hawaiian plume are not modern N-MORB, but are Fe-rich tholeiite;a lithology that was common in the Archaean and early Proterozoic. We have demonstrated that the entire compositional spectrum of Hawaiian tholeiites (basalt to picrite) can be formed by basalt-peridotite reactive melting near the dry solidus of peridotite. Based on these results, we propose that the potential temperature of the sub-Hawaiian plume may be much lower than previously estimated.展开更多

However, the improvement in permeance is impeded by the substrates with low permeances. Herein, highly permeable gradient phenolic membranes with tight selectivity are used as substrates to prepare TFC membranes with high permeances by the layer-by-layer assembly method. The negatively charged phenolic substrates are alternately assembled with polycation polyethylenimine(PEI) and polyanion poly(acrylic acid)(PAA)as a result of electrostatic interactions, forming thin and compact PEI/PAA layers tightly attached to the substrate surface. We demonstrate that the membranes can also separate positively and neutrally charged dyes from water via other mechanisms. This work opens a new avenue for the design and preparation of high-flux NF membranes, which is also applicable to enhance the permeance of other TFC membranes.展开更多

METHODS: This is a retrospective, cross-sectional study. Sixty highly myopic eyes of 60 patients were enrolled, with 30 eyes in the glaucoma group and 30 eyes in the control group. All eyes received peripapillary imaging of the optic disc using Stratus and Spectralis OCT. Areas under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUROC) and the sensitivity at specificity of 〉80% and 〉95% for p-RNFL parameters obtained using the two devices to diagnose glaucoma were analysed and compared. RESULTS: In Spectralis OCT, p-RNFL thickness parameters with the largest AUROC were the temporal-inferior sector(0.974) and the inferior quadrant(0.951), whereas in Stratus OCT, the best parameters were the 7-o'clock sector(0.918) and the inferior quadrant(0.918). Compared to the Stratus OCT parameters, the Spectralis OCT parameters demonstrated generally higher AUROC; however, the difference was not statistically significant. CONCLUSION: The best p-RNFL parameters for diagnosing glaucoma in patients with high myopia were the temporal-inferior sector on Spectralis OCT and the 7-o'clock sector on Stratus OCT. There were no significant differences between the AUROCs for Spectralis OCT and Stratus OCT, which suggest that the glaucoma diagnostic capabilities of these two devices in patients with high myopia are similar.展开更多

The DBPL A1GaN/GaN HEMT is characterized by two equi-long p-type GaN layers which are buried in the GaN buffer layer under the source side. Under the condition of high-voltage blocking state, two reverse p-n junctions introduced by the buried p-type layers will effectively modulate the surface and bulk electric fields. Meanwhile, the buffer leakage is well suppressed in this structure and both lead to a high breakdown voltage. The simulations show that the breakdown voltage of the DBPL structure can reach above 2000 V from 467 V of the conventional structure with the same gate-drain length of 8μm.展开更多

The comparative grinding performance was studied in terms of grinding force, grinding temperature, grinding-induced surface features and defects. The results display that the grinding forces and grinding temperature obtained with the brazed CBN wheel are always lower than those with the electroplated CBN wheel. Though the voids and microcracks are the dominant grinding-induced surface defects, the brazed CBN wheel produces less surface defects compared to the electroplated wheel according to the statistical analysis results. The max mum materials removal rate with the brazed CBN wheel is much higher than that with the electroplated one. All above indicate that the single-layer brazed CBN super-abrasive wheel is more suitable for high-speed grinding of PTMCs than the electroplated counterpart.展开更多

The first HCL is at a depth of 15~20km, and the second at 45~60km. In the central region of the Plateau, such as north Qiangtang and Bayan Har, there is only one HCL in crust at the depth about 15~20km.The origin of HCL in upper crust of southern Tibet is mainly caused by free saline aqueous fluids. The seismic investigation by project INDEPTH in southern Tibet demonstrates that the bright spot reflection at about 15km depth is caused by 10% volume of free aqueous fluids (Makovsky and Klemperer, 1999). Seismic and heat flow research indicates the temperature in 15km depth of Tibet is from 400℃ to 650℃. The high concentration of Cl - in water of geothermal spring in southern Tibet means that the aqueous fluid in crust is saline water. The experiment on conductivity of NaCl solution shows that the conductivity is more than 4.5 S·m -1 under 400MPa and 300~650℃ condition (Quist and Marshall, 1968). This p\|T condition corresponds to the pressure and temperature range at 15~20km depth of Tibet.展开更多

Here, we introduced a nano-ZnMgO(magnesium doped ZnO, abbreviated as ZnMgO) as interfacial layer between [6, 6]-Phenyl C_(61) butyric acid methyl ester(PC_(61) BM) layer and Al electrode to replace LiF or ZnO interlayer and enhance device performance. The device efficiency has been improved from 11.43% to 15.61% and the hysteresis was decreased dramatically. Such huge enhancement of power convert efficiency(PCE) can be attributed to the low dark current density, enhancement of electron-selective contact, and low energy barrier at the PC_(61) BM/Al interface. We suggest that this simple nano-scale interlayer can provide an efficient charge transport and extraction for highly efficient PSCs.展开更多

The performance of the SPR sensor with NaCl, MgO, TiO2 or AlAs high-order absentee layer is analyzed theoretically. The results indicate that the sensitivity and the full width at half maximum of those SPR sensors decrease with the increasing of the order of absentee layer, but the variation of the figure of merit (FOM) depends on the refractive index of absentee layer. By improving the order of absentee layer with high-refractive-index, the FOM of the SPR sensor can be enhanced. The maximum value of FOM for the SPR sensor with high-order TiO2 (or AlAs) absentee layer is 1.059% (or 2.587%) higher than the one with one-order absentee layer. It is believed the proposed SPR sensor with high-order absentee layer will be helpful for developing the high-performance SPR sensors.展开更多

The micro-vortex generator with a special configuration and the longitudinal suction slot are adopted. The calculated results show that a reverse flow region, which is considered the main reason for occurring stall at 7.9° incidence, grows and collapses rapidly near the leading edge and leads to two critical points occurring on the end-wall with the increasing incidence in the baseline. As the micro-vortex generator is introduced in the baseline cascade, the corner separation is switched to a trailing edge separation by the thrust from the induced vortex. Meanwhile, the occurrence of failure is delayed due to the mixed low energy fluid and main flow. The synergistic effects between the micro-vortex generator and the boundary layer suction on the performance of the cascade are superior to the baseline at all the incidence conditions before the occurrence of failure, and the sudden deterioration of the cascade occurs at 10.3° incidence. The optimal results show that the farther upstream suction position, the lower total pressure loss of the cascade with vortex generator at the near stall condition. Moreover, the induced vortex with a leg can migrate the accumulated low energy fluid backward to delay the occurrence of stall.展开更多

There were no significant differences between the AUROCs for Spectralis OCT and Stratus OCT, which suggest that the glaucoma diagnostic capabilities of these two devices in patients with high myopia are similar.
文摘An ultrahigh vacuum chemical vapor deposition (UHV/CVD) system is developed and the details of its construction and operation are reported. Using high purity SiH4 and GeH4 reactant gases, the Si0.82Ge0.18 layer is deposited at 550℃. With the measurements by double crystal X-ray diffraction (DCXRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Rutherford backscattering spectroscppy (RBS) techniques, it is shown that the crystalline quality of the SiGe layer is good, and the underlying SiGe/Si heterointerface is sharply defined.

文摘A novel A1GaN/GaN high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) with double buried p-type layers (DBPLs) in the GaN buffer layer and its mechanism are studied. The simulations show that the breakdown voltage of the DBPL structure can reach above 2000 V from 467 V of the conventional structure with the same gate-drain length of 8μm.

文摘In order to develop the high-efficiency and precision machining technique of TiCp/Ti - 6Al-4V particulate reinforced titanium matrix composites (PTMCs), high-speed grinding experiments were conducted using the single-layer electroplated cubic boron nitride (CBN) wheel and brazed CBN wheel, respectively. All above indicate that the single-layer brazed CBN super-abrasive wheel is more suitable for high-speed grinding of PTMCs than the electroplated counterpart.
文摘Geoelectrical investigations in Tibetan Plateau show that there are two high conductivity layers (HCLs) in the crust of southern Tibetan Plateau. This p\|T condition corresponds to the pressure and temperature range at 15~20km depth of Tibet.

文摘Interfacial layer has a significant impact on the achievement of highly efficient organic–inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cells(PSCs). We suggest that this simple nano-scale interlayer can provide an efficient charge transport and extraction for highly efficient PSCs.

文摘A surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor with a high-order absentee layer on the top of metallic film is proposed. It is believed the proposed SPR sensor with high-order absentee layer will be helpful for developing the high-performance SPR sensors.

文摘In the current study, the effects of a combined application between micro-vortex generator and boundary layer suction on the flow characteristics of a high-load compressor cascade are investigated. Moreover, the induced vortex with a leg can migrate the accumulated low energy fluid backward to delay the occurrence of stall.
