Chaoshan drawnwork handkerchief design exhibits self-similarity and fractal characteristics due to their grid-based structure,overall symmetry,and the way local motifs reflect the whole pattern.To explore the potentia...Chaoshan drawnwork handkerchief design exhibits self-similarity and fractal characteristics due to their grid-based structure,overall symmetry,and the way local motifs reflect the whole pattern.To explore the potential of fractals in traditional textile design,a fractal-based generative framework was proposed for efficiently creating drawnwork patterns suitable for practical handicraft production.The research was initiated with an analysis of the structural composition of center,skeleton,and filler motifs extracted from a pattern sample library.Based on this hierarchical classification,the box-counting method was employed to calculate their respective fractal dimensions.Building on fractal art theory,generative algorithms,and studies on the application of Ultra Fractal,a Chaoshan drawnwork fractal design model was established.Using this model,51 drawnwork fractal patterns and 153 handkerchief patterns were generated.These patterns were subsequently applied in real-world production to validate the feasibility and value of fractal techniques in textile design.展开更多

With the simultaneous growth of cultural heritage activation and urban renewal needs,urban heritage parks are increasingly becoming important carriers for the integrated development of historical heritage protection a...With the simultaneous growth of cultural heritage activation and urban renewal needs,urban heritage parks are increasingly becoming important carriers for the integrated development of historical heritage protection and public space utilization.This article focuses on the construction of measurement dimensions of tourist experience value in urban heritage parks.Based on the theoretical frameworks of flow theory and experience value theory,combined with literature analysis and UGC text mining,it initially constructs an emotional,cultural,and functional three-dimensional index system.Through text analysis of 970 online reviews of Chongqing Kaifa Heritage Park,social value is identified as a potential new dimension.Subsequently,this article adopts exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis methods to verify the structural validity and reliability of the evaluation model with four dimensions and eighteen indicators,confirming that tourist experience value consists of four dimensions:emotional,cultural,functional,and social.The research not only fills the empirical research gap on social interaction value in cultural heritage tourism spaces,but also provides a quantifiable evaluation tool and evidence-based basis for the operation,management,and experience optimization of heritage parks,which has certain theoretical innovation significance and practical guidance value.展开更多
The amber sites from the Chiapas Highlands in southwestern Mexico constitute an Oligo-Miocene Amber-Lagerstätte(ca.24 Ma)whose mines and pits at Simojovel,Totolapa,and Estrella de Belén yield exceptionally p...The amber sites from the Chiapas Highlands in southwestern Mexico constitute an Oligo-Miocene Amber-Lagerstätte(ca.24 Ma)whose mines and pits at Simojovel,Totolapa,and Estrella de Belén yield exceptionally preserved fossil inclusions,notably insects from an estuarine wetland.A comprehensive cross-referenced catalog of insects and their close relatives(Arthropoda:Hexapoda)recorded in Mexican amber has been compiled.The catalog comprises 589 fossil records,including 21 orders,180 families,230 genera,and 193 species.Data show the fossil diversity of insects based on 65 years of taxonomic descriptions.The catalog also consists of an online database for consultation and permanent updating.Accordingly,the taxonomic composition of Hexapoda in Oligo-Miocene Mexican amber is a significant addition to the current knowledge of the diversity of Lagerstätte taxa distributed worldwide.展开更多

This paper examines World Geopark in South Korea as a case study.It begins by outlining the geological and tectonic background of the Korean Peninsula,whose basement consists of Archean to Paleoproterozoic rocks.These...This paper examines World Geopark in South Korea as a case study.It begins by outlining the geological and tectonic background of the Korean Peninsula,whose basement consists of Archean to Paleoproterozoic rocks.These rocks form three continental blocks and constitute a rich geological foundation shaped by multi-stage evolution.The distribution and characteristics of global geoparks are then analyzed.As of 2025,South Korea is home to seven UNESCO Global Geoparks(designated between 2010 and 2025),which feature diverse landforms such as volcanic,sedimentary,and structural formations,with some sites also encompassing cultural relics.Finally,the study highlights that 25 of South Korea's national parks have not yet applied for geopark status and thus hold significant potential.Due to differing evaluation criteria between UNESCO Global Geoparks and South Korea's national parks,future applications involving multiple parks could expand the scale of geoparks,providing valuable insights for geoscience research and park development across East Asia.展开更多

Autarchy,so often evoked in contexts of energy and geopolitical crises,has always coincided with architecture itself,up to the great processes of de-territorialisation and the construction of the distribution network ...Autarchy,so often evoked in contexts of energy and geopolitical crises,has always coincided with architecture itself,up to the great processes of de-territorialisation and the construction of the distribution network in the Second Industrial Revolution.In this article,autarchy is investigated in its complex and remote roots,to be offered as a device for authentic ecological and social transformation.It is an antidote to a centralised,coercive and panoptic vision-the European Green Deal-which,by working with standards,ends up contradicting the very principles underlying ecology and the intrinsic value of heritage.Autarchy is in fact based on the principle of the singularity of the relationship between the subject and the territory and,precisely in this collusion,has constructed the specificity of places,in spite of the homogeneous and neutral space of the top-down vision of technological capitalism.The research is interested in making the home not the finished product of ecological capitalism,but the starting point,the activator of a new process of connivance between inhabitant and habitat in which the subject is called upon to realise himself as artifex,recovering skills that redeem him from the current diminutio of homo consumens.The status of homo faber is a way of defusing this process,an attempt to suspend the uniformity of capitalist technical thinking,now deeply absorbed as something natural.That suspension of the obvious is a form of self-sufficiency,of regaining singularity.展开更多
