According to the analysis results, gravity field model of the optima] degrees 90-240 is given, which is recovered by COCE gradient data. This paper presents an iterative Wiener filtering method based on the gravity gradient invariants. By this method a degree-220 model was calculated from GOCE SGG (Satellite Gravity Gradient) data. For this purpose, mobile gravity data from four periods in the Hexi region between 2011 and 2015 were obtained from an observation network. With a newly established theoretical model, we acquired the optimum inversion parameters and conducted calculation and analysis with the actual data. The results indicate that one is the appropriate value of the structure index for the inversion of the mobile gravity data. The inversion results of the actual data showed a comparable spatial distribution of the field source and a consistent structural trend with observations from the Qilian-Haiyuan Fault zone between 2011 and 2015. The distribution was in a blocking state at the epicenter of the Menyuan earthquake in 2016. Our quantitative study of the field source provides new insights into the inversion and interpretation of signals of mobile gravity variation.展开更多

The diagonal components (Vxx, Vyy, Vzz) of the gravitational gradient tensor are used to form the system of observation equations with the band-pass ARMA filter. The point-wise acceleration observations (ax, ay, az) along the orbit are used to form the system of observation equations up to the maximum spherical harmonic degree/order 130. The analysis of spectral accuracy characteristics of the newly derived gravitational model GOSG01S and the existing models GOTIM04S, GODIR04S, GOSPW04S and JYY_GOCE02S based on their comparison with the ultrahigh degree model EIGEN-6C2 reveals a significant consistency at the spectral window approximately between 80 and 190 due to the same period SGG data used to compile these models. The GOCE related satellite gravity models GOSG01S, GOTIM05S, GODIR05S, GOTIM04S, GODIR04S, GOSPW04S, JYY_- GOCE02S, EIGEN-6C2 and EGM2008 are also validated by using GPS-leveling data in China and USA. According to the truncation at degree 200, the statistic results show that all GGMs have very similar differences at GPS-leveling points in USA, and all GOCE related gravity models have better performance than EGM2008 in China. This suggests that all these models provide much more information on the gravity field than EGM2008 in areas with low terrestrial gravity coverage. And STDs of height anomaly differences in China for the selected truncation degrees show that GOCE has improved the accuracy of the global models beyond degree 90 and the accuracies of the models improve from 24 cm to 16 cm. STDs of geoid height differences in USA show that GOSG01S model has best consistency comparing with GPSleveling data for the frequency band of the degree between 20 and 160.展开更多

We employed the Euler deconvolution method and the theoretical model to get the best estimates of parameters. Gravity field change caused by the depth and distribution in North China is calculated by back analysis. The results show the structural index that equals 1 is suitable for inversion of the gravity variation data. The inversion results indicate that the depths of anomaly field sources are spread over the Hetao fault. The research method of this paper can be used in the quantitative study on the field source and may shed new light on the interpretations of gravity change, and also provide quantitative basis for earthquake prediction index criterions based on the gravity change.展开更多

The time and efficiency of inversion algorithms is relative to the magnitude of the target mesh. One approach is to search over the entire solution space for a more refined result. However, the inversion will be difficult with the increased parameters in the large search space and the number of computations increases exponentially. |n this paper, we propose a novel approach based on the frequency characteristics of the density distribution over the mesh. The purposes of our study are to reduce the parameters of three- dimensional gravity inversion and to lighten the image quality of the inversion result. The results show that the new method can expedite the inversion processing and get a better geological interpretation than tradition methods.展开更多

We seek through this work to provide a study on the effect of the asteroid’s shape on the gravity aspect. Knowledge of the potential is crucial to bodies approaching the asteroid. There is a range of asteroid shapes to consider. Some well-known asteroids such Ceres, Vesta, Iris and Oumuamua are considered in this study. After determining the moment of inertia of the asteroids depending on their materials, the gravity fields and the potential gravity of the asteroids are established when varying their shapes. A representation of the gravity field is given in three dimensional coordinate systems. Also, the behavior of the potential gravity is drawing in the function of the object’s location. The second part is dealing with the interpretation of all the obtained results in order to deduce some rules and features which would be useful for the identification of the asteroids. Thus, by the best knowledge of the effect of the asteroid’s shape, we would be more informed in the survey of the hazardous near earth objects.展开更多

文摘The accuracy of the Earth's gravitational field measured from the gravity field and steady-state ocean circulation explorer(GOCE),up to 250 degrees, influenced by the radial gravity gradient V zz and three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij from the satellite gravity gradiometry(SGG) are contrastively demonstrated based on the analytical error model and numerical simulation, respectively.Firstly, the new analytical error model of the cumulative geoid height, influenced by the radial gravity gradient V zz and three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij are established, respectively. In 250 degrees, the GOCE cumulative geoid height error measured by the radial gravity gradient V zz is about 2 1/2 times higher than that measured by the three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij.Secondly, the Earth's gravitational field from GOCE completely up to 250 degrees is recovered using the radial gravity gradient V zz and three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij by numerical simulation, respectively. The study results show that when the measurement error of the gravity gradient is 3×10 12 /s 2,the cumulative geoid height errors using the radial gravity gradient V zz and three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij are 12.319 cm and 9.295 cm at 250 degrees, respectively. The accuracy of the cumulative geoid height using the three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij is improved by 30%-40% on average compared with that using the radial gravity gradient V zz in 250 degrees. Finally,by mutual verification of the analytical error model and numerical simulation, the orders of magnitude from the accuracies of the Earth's gravitational field recovery make no substantial differences based on the radial and three-dimensional gravity gradients, respectively. Therefore,it is feasible to develop in advance a radial cold-atom interferometric gradiometer with a measurement accuracy of 10 13 /s 2-10 15 /s 2 for precisely producing the next-generation GOCE Follow-On Earth gravity field model with a high spatial resolution.

文摘This study adopted the Euler deconvolution method to conduct an inversion and interpretation of the depth and spatial distribution pattern of field source that lead to gravity variation. Our quantitative study of the field source provides new insights into the inversion and interpretation of signals of mobile gravity variation.

文摘We compile the GOCE-only satellite model GOSG01S complete to spherical harmonic degree of 220 using Satellite Gravity Gradiometry (SGG) data and the Satellite-to-Satellite Tracking (SST) observations along the GOCE orbit based on applying a least-squares analysis. STDs of geoid height differences in USA show that GOSG01S model has best consistency comparing with GPSleveling data for the frequency band of the degree between 20 and 160.

文摘Based on the absolute and relative gravity observations in North China from 2009 to 2014,spatial dynamic variations of the regional gravity field are obtained. The research method of this paper can be used in the quantitative study on the field source and may shed new light on the interpretations of gravity change, and also provide quantitative basis for earthquake prediction index criterions based on the gravity change.

文摘The average acceleration approach was applied to recover a gravity field model Model;CA from GOCE precise science orbits from September 2 to November 2, 2010, and furthermore a so called sequential least square adjustment was used. The model was compared with other gravity field models based on CHAMP, GRACE and GOCE. The result shows that the model is superior to gravity field based on CHAMP, and with higher accuracy than other international gravity field models based on only GOCE data before 80 degree. The degree geoid height of Model;CA reaches 3cm up to 90 degree and order.

文摘Three-dimensional gravity inversion based on the mass property model is very popular in recent years. The results show that the new method can expedite the inversion processing and get a better geological interpretation than tradition methods.

文摘Due to the complexity and overlap effects of gravity anomalies, the gravity high point always deviates from the real position of the target.Researching the offset characteristics is helpful to determine the right location of gravity anomalies. In this paper,a series of forward models were designed to calculate the offset features under different assumptions.Different density models were established based on the measured gravity data in north China Sunhu area and a variety of methods were tried to eliminate offset effects under different conditions. The results indicate that the gravity anomalies of different density bodies can be separated effectively and the real position of target can be correctly located by using the“layer stripping method”.
文摘Asteroid research is of global security interest, we are more afraid about any impact of these asteroids on Earth. Thus, by the best knowledge of the effect of the asteroid’s shape, we would be more informed in the survey of the hazardous near earth objects.

文摘Theoretical horizontal displacements caused by the 2004 Sumatra earthquake in the Sichuan-Yunnan area have been calculated according to a spherical dislocation theory and an earthquake-fault model. The results show that the theoretical displacements are basically consistent with the GPS observations in situ. On this basis,we have calculated the co-seismic displacements, strains, changes of gravity and geoid of the whole Earth, including China mainland and vicinity, caused by this earthquake. Key wards:
