A Facilitated Interface to Generate a Combined Textual and Graphical Database System Using Widely Available Software

Databases make it possible to store vast amounts of randomly created i... Data-Base Management System (DBMS) is the current standard for storing information. A DBMS organizes and maintains a structure of storage of data. Databases make it possible to store vast amounts of randomly created information and then retrieve items using associative reasoning in search routines. However, design of databases is cumbersome. If one is to use a database primarily to directly input information, each field must be predefined manually, and the fields must be organized to permit coherent data input. This static requirement is problematic and requires that database table(s) be predefined and customized at the outset, a difficult proposition since current DBMS lack a user friendly front end to allow flexible design of the input model. Furthermore, databases are primarily text based, making it difficult to process graphical data. We have developed a general and nonproprietary approach to the problem of input modeling designed to make use of the known informational architecture to map data to a database and then retrieve the original document in freely editable form. We create form templates using ordinary word processing software: Microsoft InfoPath 2007. Each field in the form is given a unique name identifier in order to be distinguished in the database. It is possible to export text based documents created initially in Microsoft Word by placing a colon at the beginning of any desired field location. InfoPath then captures the preceding string and uses it as the label for the field. Each form can be structured in a way to include any combination of both textual and graphical fields. We input data into InfoPath templates. We then submit the data through a web service to populate fields in an SQL database. By appropriate indexing, we can then recall the entire document from the SQL database for editing, with corresponding audit trail. Graphical data is handled no differently than textual data and is embedded in the database itself permitting direct query approaches. This technique makes it possible for general users to benefit from a combined text-graphical database environment with a flexible non-proprietary interface. Consequently, any template can be effortlessly transformed to a database system and easily recovered in a narrative form. 展开更多

Systematic Review of Graphical Visual Methods in Honeypot Attack Data Analysis

Mitigating increasing cyberattack incidents may require strategies such as reinforcing organizations’ networks with Honeypots and effectively analyzing attack traffic for detection of zero-day attacks and vulnerabilities. To effectively detect and mitigate cyberattacks, both computerized and visual analyses are typically required. However, most security analysts are not adequately trained in visualization principles and/or methods, which is required for effective visual perception of useful attack information hidden in attack data. Additionally, Honeypot has proven useful in cyberattack research, but no studies have comprehensively investigated visualization practices in the field. In this paper, we reviewed visualization practices and methods commonly used in the discovery and communication of attack patterns based on Honeypot network traffic data. Using the PRISMA methodology, we identified and screened 218 papers and evaluated only 37 papers having a high impact. Most Honeypot papers conducted summary statistics of Honeypot data based on static data metrics such as IP address, port, and packet size. They visually analyzed Honeypot attack data using simple graphical methods (such as line, bar, and pie charts) that tend to hide useful attack information. Furthermore, only a few papers conducted extended attack analysis, and commonly visualized attack data using scatter and linear plots. Papers rarely included simple yet sophisticated graphical methods, such as box plots and histograms, which allow for critical evaluation of analysis results. While a significant number of automated visualization tools have incorporated visualization standards by default, the construction of effective and expressive graphical methods for easy pattern discovery and explainable insights still requires applied knowledge and skill of visualization principles and tools, and occasionally, an interdisciplinary collaboration with peers. We, therefore, suggest the need, going forward, for non-classical graphical methods for visualizing attack patterns and communicating analysis results. We also recommend training investigators in visualization principles and standards for effective visual perception and presentation. 展开更多

A new X-ray absorption fine structure(XAFS)data-collection system based on the Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System software environment has been established at the BL14W1 beamline of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility. The system provides for automatic sequential analysis of multiple samples for continuous high-throughput(HT) measurements. Specifically, 8 sample pellets are loaded into an alumina holder,and a high-precision two-dimensional translation stage is programmed to switch these samples automatically for collecting the XAFS spectrum of each sample in sequence.Experimenters implement HT measurements via a graphical user interface developed with Control System Studio.Finally, the successful operation of the HT XAFS system is demonstrated by running experiments on two groups of copper–ceria catalysts, each of which contains 8 different powder samples. 展开更多

Through the analysis of the STL file format, in VC++6.0 programming environment, class if stream in the standard IO library was used for object class definition. And get line functions in the string class were called to read and bind STL file line by line. In data processing module, draw triangles in OpenGL programming technology was applied to realize the visual display of the STL graphics, with the corresponding 3D entity data generated. OpenGL graphics processing technologies were applied to display 3D graphics from STL files input or realistic program module, which contain the graphic transformation, light, materials, et al. Test reports were shared based on the test of the application system. Application of the Conceptualization Groundwater Data Model to Study the Upper Arkansas River Corridor,Western Kansas

Large-scale water pumping has caused significant decline in groundwater level in the Upper Arkansas corridor region, which in turn has triggered a chain of hydrological and ecological impacts. A newly developed conceptualization groundwater data model was used to organize various datasets on the Upper Arkansas corridor groundwater system and to develop a MODFLOW model to simulate groundwater flow in the region from 1959 to 2005. The simulation results have shown a sig- nificant decline in groundwater level and the conversion of Arkansas River from a gaining river to a losing river in the western two-thirds of the study area. Correlation analysis between percentage of salt cedar and the hydrogeological conditions indicates that these hydrogeological changes at least partially account for invasion of salt cedar that is more drought tolerant. The analysis also illustrates the com- plexity of the interaction mechanisms between hydrological conditions and salt cedar distribution, and suggests the need for better data on salt cedar distribution with higher spatial resolution and across larger hydrological gradients. 展开更多

Based on depth analysis of DXF data structure, take one drawing of DXF lathe turning rotational part asthe test piece. By VC++6.0 programming, part's geometry information could be obtained. Through data processing, 3D data of the test piece could be generated, which is based on 2D data of DXF test piece. Then, OpenGL graphic processing technologies (light, material, texture, map, et al.) were applied on the 3D display of test piece from DXF files or program modules. Finally based on the test report, results of the system functions were shared to prove the realization of system design, and the feasibility of algorithms used. In the developed software, Machine Designers could get a full view of machine parts, and do some proper modifications. The study content and results of our work have some theory and practical significance on the application of program design in the practical projects. 展开更多

The cross-gradients joint inversion technique has been applied to multiple geophysical data with a significant improvement on compatibility, but its numerical implementation for practical use is rarely discussed in the literature. We present a MATLAB-based three-dimensional cross-gradients joint inversion program with application to gravity and magnetic data. The input and output information was examined with care to create a rational, independent design of a graphical user interface (GUI) and computing kernel. For 3D visualization and data file operations, UBC-GIF tools are invoked using a series of I/O functions. Some key issues regarding the iterative joint inversion algorithm are also discussed: for instance, the forward difference of cross gradients, and matrix pseudo inverse computation. A synthetic example is employed to illustrate the whole process. Joint and separate inversions can be performed flexibly by switching the inversion mode. The resulting density model and susceptibility model demonstrate the correctness of the proposed program. 展开更多

天然气市场是能源市场中重要的一部分,其在2021—2023年期间发生重大变化,能源市场随之改变,本文运用复杂网络的方法讨论了2021—2023年期间全球天然气市场结构的变化。第一,构建2021—2023年期间市场网络,利用Topsis模型与社团分析模... 天然气市场是能源市场中重要的一部分,其在2021—2023年期间发生重大变化,能源市场随之改变,本文运用复杂网络的方法讨论了2021—2023年期间全球天然气市场结构的变化。第一,构建2021—2023年期间市场网络,利用Topsis模型与社团分析模型对这期间的天然气市场结构的演化过程进行了仿真,计算了复杂网络各节点的重要性排名和社团成员,反应这期间市场结构变化。第二,利用抗毁性评估模型对市场网络进行随机和蓄意的攻击,通过计算攻击后连通效率和最大连通子图等指标衡量攻击对网络造成的影响,以此反应市场结构的稳定性变化。研究结果表明:(1)在此期间,从以欧洲为主导向着区域多中心发展,各地区之间竞争激烈。美国保持液化天然气市场的龙头地位,欧洲的地位总体有所下降,非洲、中东等新兴市场崛起。(2)俄罗斯社团被拆分,液化天然气选择与亚洲加深合作但社团规模仍持续缩小,管道天然气社团被拆分但后有所恢复。美国社团不断扩张并保持这一趋势。(3)天然气市场结构在此期间稳定性先降低,后恢复稳定,未来的天然气市场结构将持续变化但变化幅度有所减小。 展开更多

The communication protocol for wireless communication may play a major role in energy consumption and other important factors. The portable devices like Personal Digital Assistance (PDA) and others are mainly focusing on the efficient energy consumption (power control) in wireless networks. 针对目前机床夹具设计领域中存在的知识挖掘深度不足、利用率不高且过度依赖设计人员经验等问题,提出了一种基于自顶向下方式的机床夹具设计知识图谱构建方法。首先,将机床夹具设计知识分为原理规则类和功能描述类,利用本体建模语言(OWL... 针对目前机床夹具设计领域中存在的知识挖掘深度不足、利用率不高且过度依赖设计人员经验等问题,提出了一种基于自顶向下方式的机床夹具设计知识图谱构建方法。首先,将机床夹具设计知识分为原理规则类和功能描述类,利用本体建模语言(OWL)对这两类知识进行了本体建模,构建了知识图谱的模式层;其次,在模式层的指导下,以机床夹具设计原理规则文档和设计实例为数据源,利用双向长短期记忆网络-条件随机场算法(BiLSTM-CRF)对其进行了知识抽取,得到了结构化的机床夹具设计知识;然后,运用Neo4j图数据库存储结构化的机床夹具设计知识,得到了知识图谱的数据层;最后,以轴承套筒法兰的夹具设计为例,对该方法的可行性进行了验证;考虑到企业对同一夹具结构的不同技术需求,提出了一种基于图形数据科学算法(GDS)的相似元件替代法,对夹具知识图谱中47个定位元件节点进行了相似度计算,得到了1081条相似度数据样本,并构建了综合评判模型。研究结果表明:当相似度阈值设置为0.76时,将定位元件进行替换的精确率达到了84%。通过建立知识图谱,完成了机床夹具设计的两类知识的有效关联,为构建数据驱动的机床夹具智能设计奠定了基础。 展开更多

针对煤矿井下钻探与物探工程中存在的多源数据管理复杂、图形绘制智能化程度欠缺、系统集成度较低及成果表达抽象化等关键技术问题,以神东矿区为应用背景,提出一套面向透明地质建设的“两探”数据融合应用体系。研究提出了基于多维云GI... 针对煤矿井下钻探与物探工程中存在的多源数据管理复杂、图形绘制智能化程度欠缺、系统集成度较低及成果表达抽象化等关键技术问题,以神东矿区为应用背景,提出一套面向透明地质建设的“两探”数据融合应用体系。研究提出了基于多维云GIS平台与三维模型云渲染平台的双引擎架构,研发了具备“数-图-模”三重联动机制的“二三维一体化”透明地质保障系统。通过搭建统一数据中心,实现了神东矿区14座矿井“两探”数据的标准化填报;在关键技术层面,采用改进的各向异性反距离加权插值算法(AIDW)构建地质属性场,并结合Loop细分曲面优化技术完成了地质体高精度建模,创新性地设计了钻孔参数微分联动模型与三维图片空间映射算法。实际应用表明,该系统提出的三重联动机制与空间插值优化算法,有效解决了煤矿“两探”数据融合建模的技术瓶颈,为智能矿山建设提供了可扩展的地质透明化解决方案。 展开更多
