Graphene/copper-based composite heat sinks demonstrate extensive application potential in military equipment thermal management,high-power electronic packaging, new energy vehicles, and 5G communication systems, due to their outstanding properties, including high thermal conductivity, tunable thermal expansion coefficients, excellent mechanical strength, and low density. However, the industrial-scale application of these composites faces critical challenges during the fabrication of components with complex structures, such as inhomogeneous dispersion of graphene within the copper matrix and poor interfacial bonding between the two phases, which substantially undermine the overall performance of graphene/copper-based composites. To address these issues, the preparation methods for graphene/copper-based composite heat sinks were reviewed. For each method,a rigorous analysis was presented to clarify its inherent advantages and unavoidable restrictions.Furthermore, the latest research progress in addressing three core scientific challenges was synthesized, including uniform dispersion of graphene, interfacial optimization mechanisms, and molecular dynamics simulations for elucidating the structure-property relationships. Finally, the future development directions of graphene/copper-based composite heat sinks in engineering applications were prospected. 展开更多

The tight-binding Harrison model and Green's function approach have been utilized in order to investigate the contribution of hybridized orbitals in the electronic density of states(DOS) and electronic heat capacity(EHC) for four hydrogenated structures, including monolayer chair-like, table-like, bilayer AA- and finally AB-stacked graphene. After hydrogenation, monolayer graphene and bilayer graphene are behave as semiconducting systems owning a wide direct band gap and this means that all orbitals have several states around the Fermi level. The energy gap in DOS and Schottky anomaly in EHC curves of these structures are compared together illustrating the maximum and minimum band gaps are appear for monolayer chair-like and bilayer AA-stacked graphane, respectively. In spite of these, our findings show that the maximum and minimum values of Schottky anomaly appear for hydrogenated bilayer AA-stacked and monolayer table-like configurations, respectively. 展开更多

Based on thermoacoustic theory, a coupled thermal-mechanical model for graphene films is established, and the analytical solutions for thermal-acoustic radiation from a graphene thin film are obtained. The sound pressure of the graphene film generator on different substrates is measured, and the measurement data is compared with the theoretical results. The frequency response from the experimental results is consistent with the theoretical ones, while the measured values are slightly lower than the theoretical ones. Therefore, the accuracy of the proposed theoretical model is verified. It is shown that thermal-acoustic radiation from a graphene thin film reveals a wide frequency response. The sound pressure level increases with the frequency in the low frequency range, while the sound pressure varies smoothly with frequency in the high frequency range. Thus it can be used as excellent thermal generator. When the thermal effusivity of the substrate is smaller, then the sound pressure of grapheme films will be higher. Furthermore, the sound pressure decreases with the increase of heat capacity per unit area of grapheme films. Results will contribute to the mechanism of graphene films generator and its applications in the design of loudspeaker and other related areas. 展开更多
