In this paper, a polymer spherical symmetry GRIN sphere lens were prepared by the suspension-diffusion-copolymerization(SDC) technique, selecting methyl methacrylate(MMA) as monomer M1 and acrylic 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl ester(3FEA) as M2. The radial distribution of refractive index of the lens was measured by the shearing interference method, which demonstrated that the quadratic refractive-index distribution was formed in the sphere lens, and its Δn=0.019. 展开更多

Gradient index (GRIN) lenses are often used as an optical relay to a sample at a location that is not accessible for a standard microscope. This capability is turning them into an important enabling technology that extends many optical imaging modalities like harmonic laser scanned imaging with micro endoscopic in vivo capabilities as needed in research and diagnostics. These micro endoscopic imaging variants however rely on the light scattering capability of the underlying tissue. Further complications arise from an increased number of optical interfaces and the overall optical performance of a GRIN rod. We have therefore performed a quantitative comparison of the back-scattered second harmonic generation (SHG) signal intensity generated in skin and low-scattering muscle tissue, both obtained with a standard two photon laser scanning microscope (LSM) and a GRIN lens based LSM. We report that the GRIN lens based system sees approximately 1/4 of the net two photon signal detected by the standard LSM. We expect that this value can be generalized to other LSM techniques enhanced by GRIN technology and encourage its use in experimental situations with standard LSM signal to noise ratios of four or higher. 展开更多

In the catadioptiric system,Duncan T. Moors has studied a axial gradient index corrective plate and gave a better result. His plate,in fact,is a zero power plate with two Spherical surfaces of different radius of curvature. However ,my plate is a parallel plate designed forth a shallow radial gradient index media. The spherical aberration of the gradient index corrector with parallel plane ed eliminate the spherical aberration of the spherical primary mirror in the catadioptiric system. In this paper the aberrational correction is analyzed. In the conventional optical systems,this gradient index plate is used to provide the precorrectional quantity of the spherical aberration of the optical lee systems. Integrated photonics is expected to play an increasingly important role in optical communications,imaging,computing and sensing with the promise for significant reduction in the cost and weight of these systems.Future advancement of this technology is critically dependent on an ability to develop compact and reliable optical components and facilitate their integration on a common substrate.Here we reveal,with the utility of the emerging transformation optics technique,that functional components composed of planar gradient index materials can be designed and readily integrated into photonic circuits.The unprecedented design flexibility of transformation optics allows for the creation of a number of novel devices,such as a light source collimator,waveguide adapters and a waveguide crossing,which have broad applications in integrated photonic chips and are compatible with current fabrication technology.Using the finite-difference time-domain method,we perform full-wave numerical simulations to demonstrate their superior optical performance and efficient integration with other components in an on-chip photonic system.These components only require spatially-varying dielectric materials with no magnetic properties,facilitating low-loss,broadband operation in an integrated photonic environment. 展开更多

We have proposed a two-dimensional acoustic Maxwell’s fish-eye lens by using the gradient-index metamaterials with space-coiling units. By adjusting the structural parameters of the units, the refractive index can be gradually varied, which is key role to design the acoustic fish-eye lens. As predicted by ray trajectories on a virtual sphere, the proposed lens has the capability to focus the acoustic wave irradiated from a point source at the surface of the lens on the diametrically opposite side of the lens. The broadband and low loss performance is further demonstrated for the lens. The proposed acoustic fish-eye lens is expected to have the potential applications in directional acoustic coupler or coherent ultrasonic imaging. 展开更多

We demonstrate that asymmetric acoustic wave transmission in a waveguide can be achieved via gradient index metamaterials(GIMs). We theoretically prove that the acoustic wave can be efficiently converted to surface waves(SWs) via GIMs. The GIMs in a waveguide can allow the transmission of acoustic waves in one direction but block them in the other direction. This theory is validated by experiments. Our findings may provide new applications in various scenarios such as high-efficiency acoustic couplers and noise control. 展开更多

We present a detailed theoretical description of wave propagation in an acoustic gradient-index system with cylindrical symmetry and demonstrate its potential to numerically control acoustic waves in different ways.The trajectory of an acoustic wave within the system is derived by employing the theory of geometric acoustics,and the validity of the theoretical descriptions is verified numerically by using the finite element method simulation.The results show that by tailoring the distribution function of the refractive index,the proposed system can yield a tunable manipulation of acoustic waves,such as acoustic bending,trapping,and absorbing. 展开更多

In order to verify the properties of the light propagating through a gradient-index (GRIN) fibre probe for optical coherence tomography (OCT), numerical simulation using the optical software GLAD is carried out. Firstly, the model of the GRIN fibre probe is presented, which is consisted of a single mode fibre (SMF), a no-core fibre (NCF), a GRIN fibre lens and an air path. Then, the software GLAD is adopted to numerically investigate how the lengths of the NCF and the GRIN fibre lens influence the performance of the Gaussian beam focusing through the GRIN fibre probe. The simulation results are well consistent with the experimental ones, showing that the GLAD based numerical simulation technique is an intuitive and effective tool for the verification of the properties of the light propagation. In this paper, we find that on the conditions of a constant GRIN fibre lens length of 0.1 mm and an NCF length of 0.36 mm, the working distance of the probe will be 0.75 mm and the focus spot size is 32 μm. 展开更多

The experimental results are in good agreement with the theory prediction. It indicates that these formulas are suitable to analyze the gradient-index rod lens coupling system with pigtail fiber. 展开更多

城市化背景下京津冀地区遥感植被物候的变化特征 被引量:1

城市环境面临不透水面增加、城市热岛效应加剧以及空气污染严峻等多重挑战,对城市的植被物候造成一定影响。本研究对2002—2021年京津冀地区的MOD13Q1增强植被指数数据进行时间序列重构,基于动态阈值法提取出关键植被物候参数,探究动态... 城市环境面临不透水面增加、城市热岛效应加剧以及空气污染严峻等多重挑战,对城市的植被物候造成一定影响。本研究对2002—2021年京津冀地区的MOD13Q1增强植被指数数据进行时间序列重构,基于动态阈值法提取出关键植被物候参数,探究动态城市化梯度下植被物候的变化特征。结果表明:研究期间,京津冀东南部地区的生长季开始期(SOS)较早、中部和西南部地区的生长季结束期(EOS)较晚,中部和东南部地区的生长季长度(GSL)较长;京津冀大部分地区的SOS提前、EOS推迟,导致GSL显著延长。不同植被类型的物候趋势总体一致,但具体表现各异:农田的SOS提前幅度最大,森林的EOS推迟幅度最大,农田的GSL延长幅度最大。2002—2021年,不透水面占比(ISP)每增加10%,SOS平均提前1.28 d, EOS平均推迟1.33 d, GSL平均延长2.2 d。此外,随着ISP增强,地表温度先升高,ISP到达40%后趋于稳定;随着地表温度升高,SOS呈现先提前后推迟趋势(拐点地表温度为23℃),EOS呈现先推迟后提前趋势(拐点地表温度为20℃),推测这一结果与光温周期耦合调控物候有关。植被物候在动态城市化梯度下的响应程度展现出显著差异,地表温度作为重要环境因素,对城乡物候差异的形成具有重要影响。 展开更多

以昆明市及其中心建成区为研究对象,1990-2020年景观分类数据为基础,采用土地利用转移矩阵、梯度分析法及景观干扰度分析了研究区时间序列上景观格局的空间演变特征以及干扰的响应。结果表明:昆明市城镇化过程,建设用地景观在30 a间增长... 以昆明市及其中心建成区为研究对象,1990-2020年景观分类数据为基础,采用土地利用转移矩阵、梯度分析法及景观干扰度分析了研究区时间序列上景观格局的空间演变特征以及干扰的响应。结果表明:昆明市城镇化过程,建设用地景观在30 a间增长了3倍,其中,80%来源于耕地,14%来源于草地。在政策的驱动下,林地一直呈现增长态势,年均增量为50 km^(2)。建成区以质心为圆心向外呈圈层单核发展到以建成区为轴线的多点跳跃性扩张,主要扩张方向为东南、西南和东北。昆明市90%为低干扰度(LD)及中低干扰度(LMD),中干扰度(MD)为7%,中高干扰度(MHD)及高干扰度(HD)占比为3%。中心建成区4 km内MD占比15%,MHD及HD总体占比8%,景观干扰度高于其他距离。本研究可以为昆明市土地规划方案制定和城市发展方向调控提供重要依据。 展开更多

回音壁模式微腔的色散调控是克尔光频梳生成的关键.然而回音壁模式微腔色散设计主要是通过改变微腔结构调控模场分布,方式较为单一.本文将径向分布的梯度折射率n(r)引入回音壁模式微腔,提出使用改变折射率分布调控梯度折射率微腔色散.... 回音壁模式微腔的色散调控是克尔光频梳生成的关键.然而回音壁模式微腔色散设计主要是通过改变微腔结构调控模场分布,方式较为单一.本文将径向分布的梯度折射率n(r)引入回音壁模式微腔,提出使用改变折射率分布调控梯度折射率微腔色散.通过数值计算和有限元仿真结果表明,折射率梯度的约束使微腔模场的位置远离微腔边缘,梯度折射率微腔具有零几何色散特性.基于设计不同折射率分布提出两种色散调控方式——修饰微腔边缘几何外形和构建双势阱.并且研究了微腔半径、楔角大小、离子扩散和塑形工艺顺序、双势阱宽度和间距对色散的影响.仿真结果表明两种方式均可以得到通信波段较大范围的反常色散,梯度折射率微腔色散调控方式十分灵活,在非线性光学应用领域具有极大潜力. 展开更多

[目的]探究黄河砒砂岩地区2000-2023年23 a间各地形因子对土地利用格局的梯度效应,为该区域植被恢复重建工作和土地利用优化调控提供理论指导。[方法]运用遥感数据提取高程、坡度、地形位等重要地形因子,结合GIS定量分析,分析各地形因子对土地利用格局的梯度效应,探究土地利用类型的地形综合指数的分级演变。[结果](1)研究区土地利用类型以草地为主,2000-2023年林地、建设用地面积变化最为剧烈,耕地、未利用地次之,林地增加10.48 km^(2),建设用地面积增加295.40 km^(2),其来源多为耕地与草地;耕地、未利用地面积分别减少1 716.52和758.89 km^(2),草地增加548.12 km^(2)。(2)研究区土地利用空间分布呈现鲜明的梯度性特征,耕地、建设用地以及未利用地的优势分布主要在低地形位区域;林地的主要优势区分布在高地形位;草地主要优势区分布集中在中、高地形位区域;水域优势分布区域在低、高地形位。(3)2000年土地利用程度综合指数最高为220.99,最低为205.69;2023年土地利用程度综合指数最高为230.17,最低为203.36;除1和2级地形位外,2023年土地利用程度综合指数均明显低于2000年,23 a来土地利用程度的变化与人类活动紧密相关。[结论] 2000-2023年黄河砒砂岩区地形梯度特征明显,土地利用类型在地形梯度上的时空变化显著。在充分考虑当地各地形因子的条件下,可以加强退耕还林、还草等政策实施、持续优化布局。 展开更多

为了研究拉盖尔-高斯超短脉冲激光在渐变折射率光纤中传输的光谱特性,利用广义惠更斯-菲涅耳原理,推导了拉盖尔-高斯超短脉冲激光在渐变折射率光纤中传输时的解析表达式,分析了光谱调制函数与拓扑荷、径向指数、光纤传输距离等参数的依... 为了研究拉盖尔-高斯超短脉冲激光在渐变折射率光纤中传输的光谱特性,利用广义惠更斯-菲涅耳原理,推导了拉盖尔-高斯超短脉冲激光在渐变折射率光纤中传输时的解析表达式,分析了光谱调制函数与拓扑荷、径向指数、光纤传输距离等参数的依赖关系。结果表明,拉盖尔-高斯超短脉冲激光在渐变折射率光纤中传输时,光谱调制函数和光谱强度的空间分布经历周期性的聚焦与扩散,但时空耦合效应使得两者不再呈对称分布;对于不同中心波长的光束,波长越长,经光谱调制函数调制后的光谱的第2个峰的峰值越高;当拉盖尔-高斯超短脉冲激光的持续时间为3 fs且传输距离一定时,光谱在离轴位置8.99μm处分裂出两个峰值高度相等的峰,此时可以观察到光谱开关现象,离轴位置越过该点处时,光谱位移由红移迅速跃变为蓝移。此研究为拉盖尔-高斯超短脉冲激光在渐变折射率光纤中传输的光谱变化提供了理论依据,在信息编码和传输方面具有潜在的应用前景。 展开更多
