Mine surveying is an indispensable and crucial basic technical work in the process of mineral resource development. It plays an important role throughout the entire life cycle of a mine, from exploration, design, construction, and production to closure, and is known as the“eyes of the mine”.With the rapid development of satellite technology, computer science, artificial intelligence, robotics, and spatiotemporal big data, mine surveying science and technology supported by spatial information technology is increasingly playing the role of the“brain of the mine”.This paper systematically summarizes the characteristics of mining surveying science and technology in contemporary and future mining development.First, based on the requirements of safe, efficient, and green development in modern mining,an analysis is conducted on the innovative practices of intelligent mining methods;secondly,it explains the transformation of regional economic and mining economic integration towards lengthening the industrial chain and scientific and technological innovation.Regarding intelligent mining, this paper discusses three technical dimensions:(1)By establishing a spatiotemporal data model of the mine,real-time perception and remote intelligent control of the production system are realized;(2)Based on the transparent mine three-dimensional geological modelling technology, the accuracy of geological condition prediction and the scientific nature of mining decisions are significantly improved;(3)By integrating multi-source remote sensing data and deep learning algorithms,a high-precision coal and rock identification system is constructed. The study further revealed the innovative application value of mine surveying in the post-mining era, including:diversified utilization of underground space in mining areas(tourism development, geothermal energy storage, pumped storage,etc.),multi-platform remote sensing coordinated ecological restoration monitoring, and optimized land space planning in mining areas.Practice has proved that mine surveying technology is an important technical engine for promoting green transformation and high-quality development in resource-based regions, and has irreplaceable strategic significance for achieving coordinated development of energy, economy, and environment. 展开更多

Processes supported by process-aware information systems are subject to continuous and often subtle changes due to evolving operational, organizational,or regulatory factors. These changes, referred to as incremental concept drift, gradually alter the behavior or structure of processes, making their detection and localization a challenging task.Traditional process mining techniques frequently assume process stationarity and are limited in their ability to detect such drift, particularly from a control-flow perspective. The objective of this research is to develop an interpretable and robust framework capable of detecting and localizing incremental concept drift in event logs, with a specific emphasis on the structural evolution of control-flow semantics in processes. We propose DriftXMiner,a control-flow-aware hybrid framework that combines statistical, machine learning, and process model analysis techniques. The approach comprises three key components:(1)Cumulative Drift Scanner that tracks directional statistical deviations to detect early drift signals;(2)a Temporal Clustering and Drift-Aware Forest Ensemble(DAFE)to capture distributional and classification-level changes in process behavior;and(3)Petri net-based process model reconstruction, which enables the precise localization of structural drift using transition deviation metrics and replay fitness scores.Experimental validation on the BPI Challenge 2017 event log demonstrates that DriftXMiner effectively identifies and localizes gradual and incremental process drift over time. The framework achieves a detection accuracy of 92.5%,a localization precision of 90.3%,and an F1-score of 0.91,outperforming competitive baselines such as CUSUM+Histograms and ADWIN+Alpha Miner.Visual analyses further confirm that identified drift points align with transitions in control-flow models and behavioral cluster structures.DriftXMiner offers a novel and interpretable solution for incremental concept drift detection and localization in dynamic,process-aware systems.By integrating statistical signal accumulation, temporal behavior profiling, and structural process mining, the framework enables finegrained drift explanation and supports adaptive process intelligence in evolving environments. Its modular architecture supports extension to streaming data and real-time monitoring contexts. 展开更多

Mineral resources in Asia continent and its mining industry play a significant role in the economic growth and industrialization of both Asia and the world.Asia continent boasts the most comprehensive kinds of minerals, with reserves of at least 38 of over 80 widely used minerals worldwide accounting for more than30%of the global total reserves.Asia continent experienced three main tectonic evolution and mineralization stages:The Precambrian, the Paleozoic, and the Mesozoic to Cenozoic. The abundant mineral resources in this continent can be divided into seven first-order metallogenic belts(metallogenic domains),18 second-order metallogenic belts(metallogenic provinces),61 third-order metallogenic belts(metallogenic zones),and nine main minerogenetic series.Asia continent exhibits the most significant metallogenic specialization among all continents.Specifically, granite belts of Asia continent manifest pronounced metallogenic specialization of tin, rare metals, and porphyry Cu-Au-Mo deposits. Its maficultramafic rock belts and ophiolite belts display notable metallogenic specialization of lateritic nickel deposits and magmatic type chromite deposits, while its Mesozoic to Cenozoic basalt belts show remarkable metallogenic specialization of lateritic bauxite deposits.Consequently, many giant metallogenic belts were formed, including the Southeast Asian tin belt, the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau rare metal metallogenic belt, the Tethyan porphyry Cu-Au-Mo metallogenic belt, the circum-Pacific porphyry Cu-Au-Mo metallogenic belt, the Southeast Asian lateritic bauxite metallogenic belt, the Deccan Plateau lateritic bauxite metallogenic belt in India, the Southeast Asian lateritic nickel metallogenic belt, and the Tethyan magmatic type chromite metallogenic belt—all of which are significant metallogenic belts in Asia continent.Future mineral exploration in Asia should focus primarily on the Precambrian mineralization of ancient cratons, the Paleozoic mineralization of the Central Asian-Mongolian orogenic belt, and the Mesozoic to Cenozoic mineralization of the Tethyan and circum-Pacific mobile belts.Asia's mining industry not only underpins its own economic growth but also propels global economic development and industrialization, contributing significantly to the world economy.Asia boasts the highest production value of minerals, the largest annual production of minerals, and the greatest trade value of mineral products among all the continents, having emerged as the trade center of global mineral products and the center of the mining industry economy.China is identified as one of the few countries that possess the most comprehensive kinds of minerals, and its mining industry has supported and driven the economic development and industrialization of Asia and even the world.Standing as the largest mineral producer worldwide,China ranked first in the production of 28 mineral commodities in the world in 2022.Besides,China exhibits the highest annual production value of minerals and the largest trade value of mineral products among all countries. Therefore,China's demand for global mineral products influences the global supply and demand patterns of minerals and the world economic situation. 展开更多

The exploration of undersea resources becomes popular as land resources decrease. Researches were conducted with emphasis on the safety and efficiency of undersea mining of the large gold deposit in Xinli District of Sanshandao Gold Mine. A series of tests for the physical and mechanical characteristics of rock mass were carried out, and the three-dimensional geo-stress distribution was tested in the mining area. Further, a similar experimental simulation platform, which revealed the mechanism of water inrush and ascertained the reason- able thickness of the safety isolate layer, was established for the undersea mining. Meanwhile, the feasibility of cancelling the ore pillars and the safety conditions was checked by numerical simulation. The simulation results show that it is safe to exploit the ore body below the -85 m level (presently, the exploitation level is below -160 m in Xinli District), and the ore pillars can be cancelled below the -560 m level. Fur- thermore, a novel backfill method was designed to reduce the rock strata disturbance and settlement, and the settlement of roof strata was monitored during the mining process. Engineering practice shows that the settlement of roof strata was small and that no disaster happened. This indicates that the undersea safety mining technology of the large gold deposit is achieved in Xinli District. 展开更多

The mining method optimization in subsea deep gold mines was studied. First, an index system for subsea mining method selection was established based on technical feasibility, security status, economic benefit, and management complexity. Next, an evaluation matrix containing crisp numbers and triangular fuzzy numbers(TFNs) was constructed to describe quantitative and qualitative information simultaneously. Then, a hybrid model combining fuzzy theory and the Tomada de Decis?o Interativa Multicritério(TODIM) method was proposed. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed approach was validated by an illustrative example of selecting the optimal mining method in the Sanshandao Gold Mine(China). The robustness of this approach was demonstrated through a sensitivity analysis. The results show that the proposed hybrid TODIM method is reliable and stable for choosing the optimal mining method in subsea deep gold mines and provides references for mining method optimization in other similar undersea mines. 展开更多

Enhancing the mining speed of a working face has become the primary approach to achieve high production and efficiency in coal mines, thereby further improving the production capacity. However, the problem of rock bursts resulting from this approach has become increasingly serious. Therefore,to implement coal mine safety and efficient extraction, the impact of deformation pressure caused by different mining speeds should be considered, and a reasonable mining speed of the working face should be determined. The influence of mining speed on overlying rock breaking in the stope is analyzed by establishing a key layer block rotation and subsidence model. Results show that with the increasing mining speed, the compression amount of gangue in the goaf decreases, and the rotation and subsidence amount of rock block B above goaf decreases, forcing the rotation and subsidence amount of rock block A above roadway to increase.Consequently, the contact mode between rock block A and rock block B changes from line contact to point contact, and the horizontal thrust and shear force between blocks increase. The increase in rotation and subsidence of rock block A intensifies the compression degree of coal and rock mass below the key layer, thereby increasing the stress concentration degree of coal and rock mass as well as the total energy accumulation. In addition, due to the insufficient compression of gangue in the goaf, the bending and subsidence space of the far-field key layer are limited, the length of the suspended roof increases, and the influence range of mining stress and the energy accumulation range expand.Numerical test results and underground microseismic monitoring results verify the correlation between mining speed and stope energy, and high-energy events generally appear 1-2 d after the change in mining speed. On this basis, the statistical principle confirms that the maximum mining speed of the working face at 6 m/d is reasonable. 展开更多

The Linglong gold ore field is situated in the northwestern region of the Jiaodong gold province,China, with over 1000 tons of gold resources.Although the metallogenic mechanism and fluid sources of the Linglong gold deposit have been the subject of extensive discussion and analyzed by numerous scholars,a definitive conclusion remains elusive. The Jiuqu Au deposit is a significant metallogenic area in the eastern part of the Linglong gold ore field, characterized as a quartz vein-type gold deposit.Gold mineralization in the Jiuqu gold deposit is classified into four stages, primarily occurring within the Late Jurassic Linglong granite and Early Cretaceous Guojialing granodiorite.Pyrite, the primary gold-bearing mineral at the Jiuqu Gold Mine, has been present throughout the metallogenic period,is rich in a variety of trace elements and is closely related to the formation of gold ore. This study focused on evaluating pyrite from the essential metallogenic stages(Stages Ⅰ-Ⅲ)of the Jiuqu gold deposit using scanning electron microscopy(SEM),electron microprobe analysis(EMPA),laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(LA-ICP-MS) and laser ablation multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(LA-MC-ICP-MS) sulfur isotope analysis and detection. The work aimed to reconstruct the origin of metallogenic materials and the evolution of ore-forming fluids and to restrict the genesis of the deposit.Pyrite exhibits discernible alterations in both shape and crystal structure as it progresses through its ore-forming stages. The aforementioned stages can be delineated as follows:type 1 pyrite(PyⅠ),developed in the initial ore stage,is characterized by coarse-to-medium-grained euhedral pyrite in Stage Ⅰ;type 2 pyrite(PyⅡ),developed in the second ore stage, appears during the middle stage of mineralization and is characterized by subhedral or anhedral pyrite;type 3 pyrite(PyⅢ),developed in the third ore stage, primarily occurred in the late-middle stages of mineralization. It is fragmented and coexists with various metal sulfides, including chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena. The in situ major and elemental compositions of pyrites at Jiuqu indicate that Au,in the form of visible gold, exists in pyrites with low Au and Ag contents throughout all stages.PyⅠ had lower Pb,Bi,Co and Ni contents than those of PyⅡ.PyⅢ displayed decreased Pb,Bi,Co and Ni levels compared with PyⅡ.The δ34S values of the PyⅠ,PyⅡ and PyⅢ pyrite stages ranged from 7.19% to 8.71%,6.24% to 7.68% and 7.66% to 8.07%,respectively.According to the structural and geochemical analysis of pyrite, the ore-forming fluid of the Jiuqu gold deposit was derived from a magmatic-hydrothermal formation created by enriched lithospheric mantle-derived magma, mixing S from Precambrian metamorphic rocks.Previous studies on the H-O isotopes of quartz in the region's ores have indicated the presence of primary magma water.Additionally, studies concerning the C-O isotopes of carbonate minerals in ores have suggested that C may have originated from the mantle.Fluid migration and water-rock interaction resulted in sulfide and gold precipitation. In the Late Meosozoic, lithospheric thinning of eastern North China Craton led to up welling of astheno spheric mantle and partial melting of lithospheric mantle in the Jiaodong area.Under tectonic changes,magmatic-hydro thermal fluid migrated upward along fault structures to form a gold province. 展开更多

In the Fatira(Abu Zawal)mine area, located in the northern Eastern Desert of Egypt, fieldwork and mineralogical analysis, integrated with machine learning techniques applied to Landsat-8 OLI,ASTER,and Sentinel-2 multi-spectral imagery(MSI)data delineate gold-sulfide mineralization in altered rocks.Gold(Au)anomalies in hydrothermal breccias and quartz veins are associated with NE-oriented felsite dykes and silicified granitic rocks. Two main alteration types are identified:a pyrite-sericite-quartz and a sulfide-chlorite-carbonate assemblage, locally with dispersed free-milling Au specks.Dimensionality reduction techniques, including principal component analysis(PCA)and independent component analysis(ICA),enabled mapping of alteration types.Sentinel-2 PC125 composite images offered efficient lithological differentiation, while supervised classifications,i.e.,the support vector machine(SVM)of Landsat-8 yielded an accuracy of 88.55%and a Kappa value of 0.86.ASTER mineral indices contributed to map hydrothermal alteration mineral phases, including sericite, muscovite, kaolinite, and iron oxides. Results indicate that post-magmatic epigenetic hydrothermal activity significantly contributed to the Au-sulfide mineralization in the Fatira area, distinguishing it from the more prevalent orogenic gold deposits in the region. 展开更多

Up to now,“Turn-on”fluorescence sensor exhibits promising potential toward the detection of heavy metal ions, anions, drugs, organic dyes,DNA,pesticides, and other amino acids due to their simple, quick detection, and high sensitivity and selectivity.Herein,a novel fluorescence method of detecting Cr^(3+)in an aqueous solution was described based on the fluorescence resonance energy transfer between rhodamine B(Rh B)and gold nanoparticles(Au NPs).The fluorescence of Rh B solution could be obviously quenched(“off”state)with the presence of citrate-stabilized Au NPs.However, upon addition of Cr^(3+)to Au NPs@Rh B system, the fluorescence of Au NPs was recovered owing to the strong interaction between Cr^(3+)and the specific groups on the surface of citrate-stabilized Au NPs,which will lead to the aggregation of Au NPs(“on”state). At this point, the color of the reaction solution turned to black.Under optimal conditions, the limit of detection(LOD)for Cr^(3+)was 0.95 n M(signal-to-noise ratio,S/N=3)with a linear range of 0.164 n M to 3.270μM.Furthermore,the proposed method exhibits excellent performances, such as rapid analysis, high sensitivity, extraordinary selectivity, easy preparation,switch-on fluorescence response, and non-time consuming. 展开更多

Coal mine underground reservoir(CMUR) technology mitigates water scarcity in China's coal-rich western regions but lacks tailored solutions for steeply inclined coal seams. This study develops a novel framework of steeply inclined coal mine underground reservoirs(SICMUR),which is a paradigm shift from conventional CMUR that the coal seam itself serves as the reservoir floor, challenging conventional designs due to depth-dependent permeability and mechanical constraints.Triaxial mechanical-seepage tests on Xinjiang Wudong coal samples(100,200,300 m depths) revealed a 3.5 MPa triaxial strength increase per 100 m depth and a 58-fold post-peak permeability surge at 300 versus 100 m.Similar model simulations revealed mining-induced stress redistribution and significant deformation effects, particularly subsidence and water-conducting fractures during lower coal seam mining. Results indicate a minimum 40 m safety distance between reservoirs and lower coal seams.Critical construction parameters were investigated for Wudong mine SICMUR as collapse zone heights(9.9–12.31 m) and waterconducting fracture zone heights(31.96–37.40 m).This work systematically bridges SICMUR concepts to field implementation, offering a framework for water preservation in steeply inclined mining while addressing safety concerns, providing a new approach for water reservation in steeply inclined coal mining. 展开更多

Recently identified hydrothermal monazite from the Sidaogou deposit in the Liaodong Peninsula,is co-genetic with gold-bearing ore minerals and thus can serve as ideal proxy for dating the gold-mineralization event. Our study effectively solved the dilemma of lack of any accurate age for the Sidaogou deposit. The Sidaogou deposit is hosted mainly by Paleoproterozoic metamorphic rocks of the Liaohe Group, and hydrothermal monazite therein occurs within voids or along micro-fractures in syn-ore pyrite and quartz.First in situ SIMS U-Th-Pb isotope data on this monazite from the Sidaogou deposit yielded an inverse Concordia age of 184±20 Ma,which is much younger than an^(40)Ar-^(39)Ar age of 1858.9±25.4 Ma obtained on muscovite from the host rock(Gaixian Formation),thus supporting a prominent Early Jurassic gold mineralization event in the Wulong gold field, which is distinct from previously established Early Cretaceous gold mineralization, held responsible for the nearby large Wulong gold deposit. Our new findings make it possible, together with previous studies,to formulate a model for the Early Jurassic magmatic-hydrothermal gold system in the area, for which a compressional setting during the westward subduction of the Paleo-Pacific Plate beneath the North China Craton is postulated. 展开更多

The Mailong gold deposit is located in the eastern section of the East Kunlun orogenic belt and is one of the recently discovered important gold polymetallic deposits in the Qinhai Gouli region. The primary host rocks of the Mailong gold deposit consist of intermediate-acid intrusive rocks from the Varisian and Indosinian periods,as well as the Precambrian Jinshuikou Group, with mineralization controlled by northeast and northwest faults. The alteration of the host rocks is mainly characterized by silicification, sericitization, chloritization, and carbonatization.Based on the cross-cutting relationships of the veins, the hydrothermal mineralization of the gold deposit can be categorized into three stages:the quartz-pyrite stage, the quartzpolymetallic sulfide stage, and the quartz-carbonate stage.Microthermometry of fluid inclusions indicates that the Mailong gold deposit belongs to a low-density(0.73–0.86 g/cm3),medium-temperature(240–340℃),and medium-salinity(4.01–10.74 wt%NaCl)NaCl-CO2-H2O fluid system. The C-H-O isotopic analysis suggests that the mineralizing fluids is derived from magmatic water, with later contributions from atmospheric precipitation.In-situ S isotopic results indicate that the mineralizing materials mainly derive from igneous rocks.A comprehensive analysis concludes that the Mailong gold deposit is a mesothermal hydrothermal vein-type gold deposit controlled by structural factors. 展开更多

The Boulon Djounga eastern perimeter is part of the Tiawa operating permit of the Société des Mines du Liptako (SML), located in the central southwestern part of Liptako (Niger). In this study, we used field data, Reverse Circulation (RC) surveys and chemical analyzes of gold to determine the characteristics of gold and its mineralization style. The eastern perimeter of Boulon Djounga is represented by a succession of metabasalts and metasediments both intersected by intrusions of quartz and dolerite dykes, and covered by sandstone and clayey rocks. Gold is present in low contents (0.00 - 0.30 ppm) in the sedimentary cover and in medium (0.30 - 1.00 ppm) or high contents (1.00 - 4.534 ppm) in the metasediments, and in the gray quartz veins and locally in the volcanics. It exists in a disseminated state or in a concentrated state in the surrounding areas in the form of discrete grains associated with sulphurous minerals (pyrite: FeS2, chalcopyrite: CuFeS2 or arsenopyrite: FeAsS). The presence of gold in the quartz veins, and the NE-SW and NW-SE orientations of the ore bodies suggest that the eastern Boulon Djounga gold mineralization would be established during a late magmatic extensive phase. 展开更多

Stability of base-exposed backfill roof in underhand drift-and-fill mining is crucial for the safety of those working beneath.Given the commonly used primary-and-secondary mining sequence, interfaces are formed between adjacent filled drifts, which can weaken the integrity of the backfill roof. These interfaces also lead to two common drift layouts:aligned drifts and staggered drifts. However, less attention has been paid to the interfaces and the two drift layouts were not adequately distinguished in previous studies. In this paper, the interfaces between filled drifts were firstly considered to investigate the stability of backfill roof.Failure modes and strength requirements of backfill roof in aligned and staggered drifts are comprehensively investigated by FLAC3D,with a focus on considerations of varied shear parameters of the interfaces. Results show that failure modes in aligned drifts transition from block sliding to top caving, bottom caving or sloughing as the interface cohesion increases from zero to at least half of the backfill cohesion.Further increases in interface cohesion allow aligned drifts to behave as if there are no interfaces between them. The critical stability conditions of backfill roof in aligned drifts were mostly determined by the interface strength instead of the backfill strength. However, the stability of backfill roof in staggered drifts is barely affected by the interface strength. The outcomes are expected to provide references for mining engineers to optimize drift layouts and perform cost-effective backfill roof strength design at mines using underhand drift-and-fill mining method. 展开更多
