Tooth modification technique is widely used in gear industry to improve the meshing performance of gearings. However, few of the present studies on tooth modification considers the influence of inevitable random errors on gear modification effects. In order to investigate the uncertainties of tooth modification amount variations on system's dynamic behaviors of a helical planetary gears, an analytical dynamic model including tooth modification parameters is proposed to carry out a deterministic analysis on the dynamics of a helical planetary gear. The dynamic meshing forces as well as the dynamic transmission errors of the sun-planet 1 gear pair with and without tooth modifications are computed and compared to show the effectiveness of tooth modifications on gear dynamics enhancement. By using response surface method, a fitted regression model for the dynamic transmission error(DTE) fluctuations is established to quantify the relationship between modification amounts and DTE fluctuations. By shifting the inevitable random errors arousing from manufacturing and installing process to tooth modification amount variations, a statistical tooth modification model is developed and a methodology combining Monte Carlo simulation and response surface method is presented for uncertainty analysis of tooth modifications. The uncertainly analysis reveals that the system's dynamic behaviors do not obey the normal distribution rule even though the design variables are normally distributed. In addition, a deterministic modification amount will not definitely achieve an optimal result for both static and dynamic transmission error fluctuation reduction simultaneously. 展开更多

The calculation method of sliding ratios for conjugate-curve gear pair, generated based on the theory of conjugate curves,is proposed. The theoretical model of conjugate-curve gear drive is briefly introduced. The general calculation formulas of sliding ratios are developed according to the conjugate curves. The applications to the circular arc gears based on conjugate curves and the novel involute-helix gears are studied. A comparison on the sliding coefficient with the conventional corresponding gear drive is also carried out. The influences of gear parameters such as spiral parameter, gear ratio and modulus on the sliding ratios of gear drive are discussed. Brief description of manufacturing method for conjugate-curve gear pair is given. The research results show that the sliding ratios of gear pair become smaller with the increase of spiral parameter and gear ratio, respectively. And it will be greater with the increase of modulus for the tooth profiles. The meshing characteristics of conjugate-curve gears are further reflected and the optimization design of tooth profiles with high performance may be obtained. 展开更多

According to the characteristics of gear fault vibration signals, a methodfor gear fault diagnosis based upon the empirical mode decomposition (EMD) is proposed in thispaper. By using EMD, any complicated signal can be decomposed into a finite and often small numberof intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) , which are based upon the local characteristic time scale of thesignal. Thus, EMD is perfectly suitable for non-stationary signal processing and faultcharacteristics extracting. It is well known that a gear vibration signal consists of a number offrequency family components, each of which is a modulated signal. Thus, we can use EMD to decomposea gear fault vibration signal into a number of IMF components, some of which correspond to thefrequency families, and the others are noises. Therefore, the frequency families can be separatedand the noise can be decreased at the same time. The proposed method has been applied to gear faultdiagnosis. The results show that both the sensitivity and the reliability of this method aresatisfactory. 展开更多

Workability domain without the onset of flow instability was developed by numerical simulation and response surface method (RSM) for complex-shaped straight spur gear forging. The processing map of AZ31B alloys was calculated from flow stress curves and then integrated with the finite element model to simulate the distribution of flow instability in the straight spur gear undergoing isothermal forging process. Occurrence of flow instability depends on forging temperature, punch velocity and billet reduction. Taking forging temperature and punch velocity as design variables, while billet reduction as response variable, RSM of workability domain was established. Analysis of variance indicates that forging temperature is the most significant factor determining the appearance of flow instability in the forged gear. Flow instability is easier to take place at lower temperatures of 250 and 300 ℃ in the early stage of forging but at higher temperatures of 350 and 400 ℃ in the later stage of forging, which is attributed to different deformation mechanisms and dynamic recrystallization behaviors at different temperatures or deformation levels. Meanwhile, increasing punch velocity further reduces the workability of the forged gear. Four different processing paths were chosen to carry out the gear forging trials. Visual observations and metallographic examinations demonstrate that the developed workability domain contributes to optimization of forging parameters. 展开更多

Special transmission 3D model simulation must be based on surface discretization and reconstruction, but special transmission usually has complicated tooth shape and movement, so present software can't provide technical support for special transmission 3D model simulation. Currently, theoretical calculation and experimental method are difficult to exactly solve special transmission contact analysis problem. How to reduce calculation and computer memories consume and meet calculation precision is key to resolve special transmission contact analysis problem. According to 3D model simulation and surface reconstruction of quasi ellipsoid gear is difficulty, this paper employes meshless local Petrov-Galerkin (MLPG) method. In order to reduce calculation and computer memories consume, we disperse tooth mesh into finite points--sparseness points cloud or grid mesh, and then we do interpolation reconstruction in some necessary place of the 3D surface model during analysis. Moving least square method (MLSM) is employed for tooth mesh interpolation reconstruction, there are some advantages to do interpolation by means of MLSM, such as high precision, good flexibility and no require of tooth mesh discretization into units. We input the quasi ellipsoid gear reconstruction model into simulation software, we complete tooth meshing simulation. Simulation transmission ratio during meshing period was obtained, compared with theoretical transmission ratio, the result inosculate preferably. The method using curve reconstruction realizes surface reconstruction, reduce simulation calculation enormously, so special gears simulation can be realized by minitype computer. The method provides a novel solution for special transmission 3D model simulation analysis and contact analysis. 展开更多

The tooth profile is designed by generating cutting theory, the pure rolling mathematic model that the center line of unsymmetrical rack roll along non-circular pitch curve is built, the digital model of non-circular gear with double generating angles is created through the second development method of CAD software, and then the drive characteristic and tooth strength are analyzed. Shimmy can reduce the service life of the nose landing gear, affect ride comfort, and even cause fuselage damage leading to aircraft crashes. Taking a light aircraft as the research object, the torsional freedom of landing gear around strut axis and lateral deformation of tire are considered. Since the landing gear shimmy is a nonlinear system, a nonlinear mechanical model of the front landing gear shimmy is established. Sobol index method is proposed to analyze the influence of structural parameters on the stability region of the nose landing gear, and Routh-Huritz criterion is used to verify the reliability of the analysis results of Sobol index method. We analyse the effect of torsional stiffness of strut, caster length, rated initial tire inflation pressure, rake angle, and vertical force on the stability region of theront landing gear. And the research shows that the optimization of the torsional stiffness of the strut and the caster length of the nose landing gear should be emphasized, and the influence of vertical force on the stability region of the nose landing gear should be paid attention to. 展开更多

根据齿轮啮合原理,推导了偏置非正交面齿轮的工作齿面和过渡齿面方程,以不产生根切和齿顶变尖的几何条件,推导了偏置非正交面齿轮最小内半径和最大外半径的解析解计算公式。以插削加工与偏置非正交面齿轮啮合的渐开线直齿圆柱小齿轮为例... 根据齿轮啮合原理,推导了偏置非正交面齿轮的工作齿面和过渡齿面方程,以不产生根切和齿顶变尖的几何条件,推导了偏置非正交面齿轮最小内半径和最大外半径的解析解计算公式。以插削加工与偏置非正交面齿轮啮合的渐开线直齿圆柱小齿轮为例,推导了小齿轮的过渡曲面方程。选用点云法实现了偏置非正交面齿轮和小齿轮齿面的精确建模,通过MATLAB编写了偏置非正交面齿轮和小齿轮轮齿的齿面点云坐标计算程序。在UG中建立了偏置非正交面齿轮和小齿轮的精确三维实体模型,同时对偏置非正交面齿轮进行了装配和运动学仿真,验证了所用设计方法的精确性。研究成果为各种传动形式的面齿轮精确设计提供了一种可行的方法。 展开更多

飞机起降系统的非线性动力学稳定性问题一直是飞机及起落架设计的难点问题,涉及复杂的几何非线性、物理非线性及其耦合。传统时域计算方法虽然能有效判定系统稳定性,但在参数影响分析和参数化快速设计等方面存在计算量大的局限性。近年... 飞机起降系统的非线性动力学稳定性问题一直是飞机及起落架设计的难点问题,涉及复杂的几何非线性、物理非线性及其耦合。传统时域计算方法虽然能有效判定系统稳定性,但在参数影响分析和参数化快速设计等方面存在计算量大的局限性。近年来数值延拓法被广泛应用于起降系统的非线性动力学稳定性分析领域,该方法在设计初期就能够快速、准确地分析动力学模型的稳定性随参数的变化规律,从而可有效提高飞机及起落架的设计效率。首先阐述了动力学稳定性、分岔分析和延拓计算的方法。然后按照起降系统的功能分类,综述了起落架摆振稳定性、滑跑方向稳定性、收放机构稳定性的研究现状,重点论述了基于数值延拓法的稳定性分岔分析方法在起降系统的应用研究。最后对飞机起落架摆振稳定性、滑跑方向稳定性、收放机构稳定性研究进行了总结和展望。 展开更多

齿轮胶合研究综述:机理、计算方法及优化策略

随着新能源汽车的发展,其减速器中的齿轮常处于高速重载等极端工况,易因润滑不良引发胶合失效,表现为齿面温度急剧上升导致润滑油膜破裂,金属表面粘连并撕裂,严重影响着传动系统的可靠性和使用寿命。综述了现目前有关于齿轮胶合的失效机... 随着新能源汽车的发展,其减速器中的齿轮常处于高速重载等极端工况,易因润滑不良引发胶合失效,表现为齿面温度急剧上升导致润滑油膜破裂,金属表面粘连并撕裂,严重影响着传动系统的可靠性和使用寿命。综述了现目前有关于齿轮胶合的失效机理,包括闪温理论、弹流润滑理论、PVT极限理论以及绝热剪切不稳定性理论。通过对比ISO 6336-20/21与GB/Z 6413.1/2等标准中的计算方法,揭示了积分温度法与闪温法在复杂工况下的适用性差异,探讨了数值计算方法和机器学习算法在齿轮胶合问题中的应用。总结了影响齿轮胶合的关键因素,包括制造工艺、工作条件、几何参数和润滑条件等。合理设计压力角、模数等宏观参数可改善载荷分布,而微观修形则能优化表面接触状态;极压添加剂和合理的供油方式能有效增强油膜稳定性;表面强化处理和涂层技术则能改善残余应力分布,降低摩擦系数。通过优化齿轮制造工艺、改善齿轮工作和润滑条件、合理设计齿轮几何参数,可有效提高齿轮的抗胶合性能。最后对齿轮胶合的发展趋势进行了展望,未来研究应结合多学科交叉技术,融合先进计算方法与实验手段,提升齿轮胶合预测的精度和适用性。同时应针对现代高性能齿轮在极端工况下的应用需求,优化材料、润滑和制造工艺,开发更具针对性的抗胶合设计策略,为高效可靠的齿轮传动系统提供坚实的技术支撑。 展开更多

基于响应面法的端面齿轮精压成形模拟及优化研究

为了提高新能源汽车用端面齿轮的成形质量,提高锻件综合性能,减少模具磨损,以端面精压成形工艺代替传统闭式模锻,利用有限元模拟技术和BBD响应面法对其成形过程进行数值模拟和工艺优化。选取摩擦因数、成形速度和坯料温度作为优化参数,... 为了提高新能源汽车用端面齿轮的成形质量,提高锻件综合性能,减少模具磨损,以端面精压成形工艺代替传统闭式模锻,利用有限元模拟技术和BBD响应面法对其成形过程进行数值模拟和工艺优化。选取摩擦因数、成形速度和坯料温度作为优化参数,以最大成形载荷和变形均匀系数作为优化目标,利用响应面模型进行多目标优化,结果表明:坯料温度和摩擦因数对成形载荷的影响最显著,而变形均匀系数主要受坯料温度的影响;最佳工艺参数组合方案为摩擦因数0.11,成形速度1.38 mm·s^(-1),坯料温度400℃。在最优工艺参数下进行锻件成形过程的多物理场分析,结果表明:坯料流动方向有序,齿根部位优先发生塑性变形,齿形端面的等效应力和等效应变分布均匀性在成形过程中不断提高,试验得到的锻件成形质量良好,未发现明显成形缺陷,齿形端面的显微硬度较初始态提升了8.1%。 展开更多

This paper employs a multi-parameter multi-step chaos control method, which is built up on the OGY method, to stabilize desirable UPOs of a gear system with elastomeric web as a high-dimensional and non-hyperbolic chaotic system, and the analyses are carried out. Three types of relations between components of a certain control parameter combination are defined in a certain control process. Special emphasis is put on the comparison of control efficiencies of the multi-parameter multi-step method and single-parameter multi-step method. The numerical experiments show the ability to switch between different orbits and the method can be a good chaos control alternative since it provides a more effective UPOs stabilization of high-dimensional and non-hyperbolic chaotic systems than the single-parameter chaos control, and according to the relation between components of each parameter combination, the best combination for chaos control in a certain UPO stabilization process are obtained. 展开更多

随着表面完整性概念的不断完善,仅使用表面粗糙度作为非圆齿轮表面质量的评价标准已经不能满足实际需要。以快走丝电火花线切割机床为试验平台,对电火花线切割加工非圆齿轮进行正交试验,以参数峰值电流、脉冲宽度、脉冲间隔和跟踪为影... 随着表面完整性概念的不断完善,仅使用表面粗糙度作为非圆齿轮表面质量的评价标准已经不能满足实际需要。以快走丝电火花线切割机床为试验平台,对电火花线切割加工非圆齿轮进行正交试验,以参数峰值电流、脉冲宽度、脉冲间隔和跟踪为影响因素,以表面粗糙度(Ra)、表面残余应力(σ)和表面显微硬度(μh)作为加工表面完整性评价指标,探究参数对非圆齿轮表面完整性的影响规律。运用熵权法对试验数据进行合理评价,获得综合指标最优的参数组合。试验结果表明,在参数值为峰值电流3 A、脉冲宽度8μs、脉冲间隔7μs和跟踪为5挡时,可以获得最优的非圆齿轮表面完整性。 展开更多
