To make a better understanding of the mechanical characteristics of the surrounding rocks in the tailentry and headentry with different coal seam thickness at fully mechanized top-coal caving face （FMTC face）, the s...To make a better understanding of the mechanical characteristics of the surrounding rocks in the tailentry and headentry with different coal seam thickness at fully mechanized top-coal caving face （FMTC face）, the stress transition and displacement around the periphery of the gateways with different coal thicknesses were investigated in details by means of in situ measurement and 3-D numerical simulation. The research shows that the stresses decrease in the two spallings of the headentry and floor at goal with the increase in mining thickness. The roof pressure in the gates does not change obviously with the coal thickness, but the thicker the coal seam is, the farther the maximum stress will apply to the coal rib at the working face. The vertical stress is higher than the horizontal stress at two spallings of the gate, while its horizontal stress is higher than the vertical stress at the roof. The relative displacement between the roof and floor and the two spallings in the gateways increases gradually with the increase in coal seam thickness in a definite range in front of the face. Near the mining face, the stress decreases in the surrounding rock of the gates, while the deformation appears the most intensive. It is proposed that the support concept to the tailentry and headentry should be changed from loading control to deformation control.展开更多

Ltd.the characteristics of the gateways of thick coal seam and the coal seam is with fully mechanized sublevel caving mining are that the thickness of roof coal seam of gateways is larger, their surrounding rocks are the whole-coal mass and the coal seam is prone to Spontaneous Combustion. With the natural equilibrium arch theory, the reasonable adjacent distance of No.11 mine-type metal supports was calculated in trapezoidal gateways based on these characteristics. Then, in-situ supporting experiments were carried out. The results indicate that under the action of virgin rock stress, the width of broken rocks zone of surrounding rocks is 1.7–2.0 m in return heading and 1.1–1.3 m in going headway. And their surrounding rocks belong to the Ⅳ-type soften rock and the Ⅲ-type common surrounding rock respectively. Therefore, under the movable abutment pressure, the gateways deformation is serious. It is suggested that the designed gateways have to use pre-broadened cross section to suit their deformation. At the same time, the accumulated water on gateway floor must be drained in time. These measures were taken in the 1302 and 1304 coal faces in Gengcun Colliery, and the satisfactory results have been obtained.展开更多

The new algorithm can guarantee to find a feasible gateway placement satisfying Quality-of-Service (QoS) constraints, including delay constraint, relay load constraint and gateway capacity constraint. Experimental results show that its performance is as good as that of the best of existing algorithms for the gateway placement problem. But, the new algorithm can be used for BWMNs that do not form one connected component, and it is easy to implement and use.展开更多

The end-to-end architecture relies upon transverse service enablement and device connectivity platforms, LTE communications solutions and communication gateways bridge the gap between 3GPP standards and legacy communications solutions. This paper will have a specific focus on the multi-services, multi-protocols gateways that allow connection to legacy assets, and how they are a critical component for the digitalization of power grids and cities. We will illustrate how this gateway--called the Smart Grid Node--has enabled Duke Energy （USA） to initiate its grid modernization project in Cincinnati, Ohio. We will also show that the smart grid node is much more than a communication gateway as it can host very diverse decentralized applications and therefore be a key component to enable multi-services smart city nodes in the near future.展开更多

The Internet of Things(IoT)has become an integral part of daily life,making the protection of user privacy increasingly important.In gateway-based IoT systems,user data is transmitted through gateways to platforms,pus...The Internet of Things(IoT)has become an integral part of daily life,making the protection of user privacy increasingly important.In gateway-based IoT systems,user data is transmitted through gateways to platforms,pushing the data to various applications,widely used in smart cities,industrial IoT,smart farms,healthcare IoT,and other fields.Threshold Public Key Encryption(TPKE)provides a method to distribute private keys for decryption,enabling joint decryption by multiple parties,thus ensuring data security during gateway transmission,platform storage,and application access.However,existing TPKE schemes face several limitations,including vulnerability to quantum attacks,failure to meet Simulation-Security(SS)requirements,lack of verifiability,and inefficiency,which results in gateway-based IoT systems still being not secure and efficient enough.To address these challenges,we propose a Verifiable Simulation-Secure Threshold PKE scheme based on standard Module-LWE(VSSTPM).Our scheme resists quantum attacks,achieves SS,and incorporates Non-Interactive ZeroKnowledge(NIZK)proofs.Implementation and performance evaluations demonstrate that VSSTPM offers 112-bit quantum security and outperforms existing TPKE schemes in terms of efficiency.Compared to the ECC-based TPKE scheme,our scheme reduces the time cost for decryption participants by 72.66%,and the decryption verification of their scheme is 11 times slower than ours.Compared with the latest lattice-based TPKE scheme,our scheme reduces the time overhead by 90%and 48.9%in system user encryption and decryption verification,respectively,and their scheme is 13 times slower than ours in terms of decryption participants.展开更多
