In order to reduce time and cost in engineering design, such as gate design, integral field knowledge must be obtained efficiently. After studying ID3 and its improved methods, a new algorithm(Fuzzy ID3 ) and its main concepts are presented to overcome some disadvantage in classical ID3 algorithms. In its application of gate design, fuzzy knowledge gotten by the new algorithm is more efficient than the knowledge by other ID3 algorithms, the set of fuzzy knowledge is much smaller than that of knowledge by classical ID3 algorithms. On the other hand, fuzzy knowledge represents field data more naturally to the way of bar thinking and more robust in tolerating imprecise, conflicting and missing information 展开更多

This paper proposes a novel design paradigm for circuits designed in quantum dot cellular automata (QCA) technology. Previously reported QCA circuits in the literature have generally been designed in a single layer which is the main logical block in which the inverter and majority gate are on the base layer, except for the parts where multilayer wire crossing was used. In this paper the concept of multilayer wire crossing has been extended to design logic gates in multilayers. Using a 5-input majority gate in a multilayer, a 1-bit and 2-bit adder have been designed in the proposed multilayer gate design paradigm. A comparison has been made with some adders reported previously in the literature and it has been shown that circuits designed in the proposed design paradigm are much more efficient in terms of area, the requirement of QCA cells in the design and the input-output delay of the circuit. Over all, the availability of one additional spatial dimension makes the design process much more flexible and there is scope for the customizability of logic gate designs to make the circuit compact. 展开更多

In this study, it is aimed to determine the ranking importance levels of the stages to be taken into consideration for new product development on a global scale in the automotive design process. New product design activity and stage-gate process differences between local automotive firms (serial production factory and stage-gate department in Turkey) and global automotive companies (serial production factory and stage-gate department in Turkey) are examined comparatively in the research area. In the automotive industry, which has been developing for a century, the question of how the local company products operating in the last sixty years have not been able to spread globally or how to develop global products is the background question of the research. For this purpose, one on one interviews were held with the managers of 3 national and 3 international automotive companies, who worked in the same region and who had previously designed a new vehicle, with design and product development departments.?According to?the data obtained by the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) in the automotive design process, the importance of the criteria that should be taken into account for global product development has revealed. According to the results of the study, it was found that design validation stages were the most important globalization criterion in automotive design process as a new study area. In the comprehensive survey of the study, no other publication has been encountered to measure or evaluate the stages in the automotive design and new product development process in other sectors, including the vehicle industry. As in every industry sector, in the automotive industry, with the new product companies provide market development or competitive advantage. The new product is the life channel of a company and in the realization of this new vehicle;the disciplines of the automotive industry are formed by a hundred years of experience. 展开更多

The design of casting gating system directly determines the solidification sequence,defect severity,and overall quality of the casting.A novel machine learning strategy was developed to design the counter pressure casting gating system of a large thin-walled cabin casting.A high-quality dataset was established through orthogonal experiments combined with design criteria for the gating system.Spearman’s correlation analysis was used to select high-quality features.The gating system dimensions were predicted using a gated recurrent unit(GRU)recurrent neural network and an elastic network model.Using EasyCast and ProCAST casting software,a comparative analysis of the flow field,temperature field,and solidification field can be conducted to demonstrate the achievement of steady filling and top-down sequential solidification.Compared to the empirical formula method,this method eliminates trial-and-error iterations,reduces porosity,reduces casting defect volume from 11.23 cubic centimeters to 2.23 cubic centimeters,eliminates internal casting defects through the incorporation of an internally cooled iron,fulfilling the goal of intelligent gating system design. 展开更多

This study aimed at designing and assembling an improvised Logic Gates Simulator that can be utilized as an instructional device in basic digital electronics instruction at Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus, Philippines. This instructional device is believed to enhance the teaching-learning process and would also help address the scarcity of instructional equipment in the school and in the country. Descriptive method of research was employed to come up with the design of the simulator based on the course content of basic digital electronics subject. Acceptability of the improvised simulator based on standards set in this study was?gathered from the experts as respondents using a self-made questionnaire. The data were treated using average weighted mean utilizing parametric scales with verbal descriptions. Findings revealed that the improvised logic gates simulator is highly acceptable in terms of its cost and availability of components,?design and construction,operations, and troubleshooting features. It is concluded that the improvised logic gates simulator is at par in terms of standards on instructional devices based on the evaluation results of experts and is therefore recommended to be used in basic digital electronics instruction. The simulator is an innovative answer and an alternate solution to the scarcity of instructional materials and devices at Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus. 展开更多

Reversible logic is a new emerging technology with many promising applications in optical information processing, low power (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) CMOS design, (De Oxy RiboNucleic Acid) DNA computing, etc. In industrial automation, comparators play an important role in segregating faulty patterns from good ones. In previous works, these comparators have been implemented with more number of reversible gates and computational complexity. All these comparators use propagation technique to compare the data. This will reduce the efficiency of the comparators. To overcome the problem, this paper proposes an efficient comparator using (Thapliyal Ranganathan) TR gate utilizing full subtraction and half subtraction algorithm which will improve the computation efficiency. The comparator design using half subtraction algorithm shows an improvement in terms of quantum cost. The comparator design using full subtraction algorithm shows effectiveness in reducing number of reversible gates required and garbage output. 展开更多

水下小孔径阀门是水下生产系统的关键设备之一,其生产制造和测试技术长期受到国外垄断,因此亟需开发一种新型的小孔径阀来打破技术垄断。本文设计了一种新型快速关断的水下小孔径旋转板阀,通过对旋转板阀的结构设计、工作原理、仿真计... 水下小孔径阀门是水下生产系统的关键设备之一,其生产制造和测试技术长期受到国外垄断,因此亟需开发一种新型的小孔径阀来打破技术垄断。本文设计了一种新型快速关断的水下小孔径旋转板阀,通过对旋转板阀的结构设计、工作原理、仿真计算及测试技术进行研究,提出了完整的设计与测试方案,最终完成了旋转板阀的设计、样机制造与性能鉴定测试。结果表明,该旋转板阀完全符合API 6A和API 17D的相关要求,阀门通过了耐久循环试验、高低温循环试验和高压舱试验,带压开启扭矩80 N·m,密封稳定性和带压开启扭矩均优于同类产品,为同类产品的国产化替代提供了技术储备。 展开更多

针对大型语言模型(LLM)在自动化硬件设计中存在的功能正确性与优化效率不足的问题,提出VeriOptima,一个从自然语言生成高效门级网表的两阶段框架。其第一阶段ReasoningV为高保真Verilog生成模型,在VerilogEval Human基准上取得57.8%的pa... 针对大型语言模型(LLM)在自动化硬件设计中存在的功能正确性与优化效率不足的问题,提出VeriOptima,一个从自然语言生成高效门级网表的两阶段框架。其第一阶段ReasoningV为高保真Verilog生成模型,在VerilogEval Human基准上取得57.8%的pass@1准确率,媲美业界顶尖模型。第二阶段CircuitMind作为多智能体优化框架,能将生成的代码优化至人类专家水平。在真实设计竞赛衍生的门级基准TC Bench上进行了严格评估,以ReasoningV输出为起点,经CircuitMind优化后,55.6%的实现达到或超越了顶级人类专家的设计效率,且其PPA指标显著优于基于其他LLM的流程。研究首次提供了克服电路生成与优化挑战的端到端解决方案,为实现高质量全自动电路设计奠定了基础,相关代码已开源。 展开更多

高性能计算机辅助药物设计是一个极具潜力的领域,而药物靶点亲和力(DTA)预测则是众多药物设计阶段中关键的步骤之一,它降低了药物开发的成本并提高了效率。本研究旨在开发一种高精度的药物靶点亲和力(DTA)预测模型以提升药物开发效率。... 高性能计算机辅助药物设计是一个极具潜力的领域,而药物靶点亲和力(DTA)预测则是众多药物设计阶段中关键的步骤之一,它降低了药物开发的成本并提高了效率。本研究旨在开发一种高精度的药物靶点亲和力(DTA)预测模型以提升药物开发效率。提出了一种基于多通道密集连接图卷积和多尺度交互融合的预测方法。方法上,模型以药物分子和蛋白质的图结构数据(节点邻接矩阵)为输入,通过多头自注意力模块结合多通道密集连接图卷积模块提取药物分子的高阶结构特征,蛋白质靶标特征则通过三层图卷积网络提取。在特征融合阶段,引入Highway和Mamba模块从局部与全局两个尺度建模药物与靶点之间的交互关系,并通过全连接层输出亲和力预测值。实验结果表明,该模型在多个公开数据集上的预测性能优于现有方法,展现出更高的准确性和鲁棒性。相较于传统模型,该方法通过密集连接和多通道机制有效聚合高阶邻接信息,融合模块增强了特征交互建模能力。结论表明,该模型具有强大的泛化能力,能准确预测药物靶点相互作用强度,为计算机辅助药物设计提供了高效工具。 展开更多

结合救护车内半环扣带塑件在工业外观限制下的大批量注塑成型要求,设计了一副三板式复合点浇口浇注系统模具。模具中,为解决塑件成型后中心部位强度降低的问题,采用三板式点浇口浇注系统,将模腔浇口设置在不影响塑件强度的位置。为保护... 结合救护车内半环扣带塑件在工业外观限制下的大批量注塑成型要求,设计了一副三板式复合点浇口浇注系统模具。模具中,为解决塑件成型后中心部位强度降低的问题,采用三板式点浇口浇注系统,将模腔浇口设置在不影响塑件强度的位置。为保护塑件的外观,创新采用扇形侧浇口+点浇口方式,将浇口设置在塑件内壁。模具采用1模1腔布局,分三次打开,用于实现流道废料及模腔内塑件的自动化脱模。为解决塑件自动脱模的问题,模具中设计了2种机构。其中,斜滑块两向两次斜抽芯机构利用弹簧驱动斜孔成型镶针先完成局部孔特征的抽芯,再利用斜导柱驱动斜滑块驱动其上的2种不同方向镶针一起实施斜向抽芯,解决了局部位置狭窄及需要有较多向抽芯脱模的设计难点。为了避免内壁大面积斜顶侧向抽芯时塑件与斜顶产生粘连,设计了同向两次抽芯复合斜顶机构。机构中,斜顶内部设置活动块驱动的侧向横顶针,斜顶顶出时,先利用型芯上的直壁顶住活动块,其上的横顶针顶住塑件内壁,使其不与斜顶发生粘连,待斜顶完成侧抽芯后,横顶针再与塑件分离,实现机构的二次侧向抽芯脱模,解决了塑件粘模问题。 展开更多

Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) implementation in ANSI C is examined in order to explore the important design issues such as concurrency, data recurrences and memory accesses that need to be resolved before generating the hardware using HLS tools.
